Stayed here several times a week for 3 months. Every single one of the staff members I encountered throughout that time was friendly, accommodating and professional. The staff continuously went above and beyond, including that time I locked my keys in my car! I truly felt at home here. Rooms always clean with great water pressure and AC, which is a must in Florida. I’ve been traveling for work several days a week for over a year. In that time, this hotel has been BY FAR my favorite home away from home.

This place is sad....the basics are there, but nothing more. . . Bare walls and bland colors. I will be attaching pics. Unfortunately this place charges a premium for bare basic.. . .I have NEVER seen such a small refrigerator. . . Outside of that the TVs seem to be old. ..I could go on and on. Ill just post the pics. . . .. . And to top it off. I was woken up to house keeping coming in my room at 9am. I was sleeping that hard and they just messed up my whole day

Large very clean room. Bed was really comfortable. We had a room with a balcony which was great Staff is amazing! Very friendly, they always greet you coming in and leaving. I did need more towels than what were already in the room and I got them immediately. I will definitely stay at this hotel every time Im in the Gainesville Florida area.One year after the original post. Still a fantastic hotel. Yes it is under construction but they are doing a great job at keeping the place as clean and quiet as they possibly can. Staff is still absolutely amazing. I just cant say enough about their friendly greetings and willingness to help answer any questions. Again we got a room with a balcony but when we arrived the table and chairs were missing. When I let them know at the front desk they immediately went to find a set and had them on our balcony in no time. Looking forward to staying with you again!

This location is going through a major renovation therefore there is major construction going on. It is dirty and all that goes with construction. The desk staff is great and accommodating, but the level of construction is so off putting that is is not reasonable to stay there.

Rooms are pretty good compared to a Quality or Comfort. However, best to avoid this location in April/May 2022. Under construction. No late checkout, no daily room service. No fitness room. No bar or restaurant. No breakfast. Amazingly bad coffee. No pool. Just a room that smells faintly damp. Doesnt meet the La Quinta/Holiday Inn express standard(room youd appreciate sleeping in), but in the same price range.

The Property is currently undergoing some needed cosmetic upgrades, but the progress is great! The new room set ups offer both a standard and suite options for guests, with the suites having a spacious living room.Hospitality was extremely friendly on our arrival and provided some great tips for exploring the local area to grab a nice dinner.Shout out to Morgan at reception! She’s a great example of Marriott hiring the top tier staff carry their brand and keep the quality standard high.
