I absolutely loved this place. They don’t Americanize their menu for tourist !!! They’re staff is kind but lack knowledge on how to expedite an early check in && the views of each room. In addition they received 3 stars because the hallways are small and the finishes need an upgrade. Otherwise love this place
Awesome experience, the pool area is very cozy and private and I love the pool bar ambiance.
Good place to rent for a small party.
Parking is good with the additional space by Jamaica Pegasus. Good venue that continues to stand the test of time. Location is quite central
My stay was 5 weeks long and is quite a bit ago. I was totally satisfied with my room, the quiet environment at the pool area with pool bar and dining area. Breakfast was very nice. The staff was very friendly and like family. Parking was never an issue.
This is a beautiful hotel! The service is impeccable and friendly. If you want a comfortable place to stay during your visit, this is the place.
Made me change rooms in the middle of my stay, due to them not being able to correctly assign rooms. Had already fully unpacked and stayed for multiple nights before the demand was made. Poor service
Ive stayed here on numerous occasions and never disappointed. Its my go to hotel in JA
Central location, friendly and good selection of meals.
Excellent customer service, excellent accommodations……..food was great. Definitely more accommodating for senior citizens. Definitely recommend, my family enjoyed their stay.
I spent 2 days and the suit was amazing. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable and my daughter and I certainly enjoyed our experience.I would rate it 4 🌟 s
Great room great service and amazing overall experience
Awesome choice for Bridal showers and baby showers!!! Ten out of ten with service, food and ambience.
Went for lunch. The service and food were great.
Friendly staff. Hotel was very clean. Room was clean and comfortable. Right across the street from Emancipation Park.
First stayed here when it was the Skyline Hotel. When my company sent me here was flashback time. Excellent hotel. Warm service.
Always a good time in the meeting rooms here. The staff are LGBTQ friendly and very accommodating. The food is sometimes hit or miss… but consistent and on brand! I love the staff.
Great environment, nice rooms and wonderful staff
Was there for a meeting.Facilities good. Coffee and pastry great. Lunch was tasty. Staff great.
The service here was a bit better than Knutsford
It was an amazing experience and an amazing place, employee were spectacular
My usual spot in Kingston centrally located for doing business
Elegant boutique hotel centrally located on the main thoroughfare of New Kingston. Great for business meetings and a safe place for business travelers to stay. Charming on sight restaurant and bar.
The pool bar had a nice quiet setting. Ambiance and vibes were suitable for a first date or after work parr. However, drinks are pricey, quoted in USD and small in portion. Had to ask the bartender if the amount served was the correct portion size?
Very good service from employees. Rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast is top.
The servers were very courteous and very professional in the way they went about serving. They made me feel extra special. Would recommend anyone to Courtleigh Hotel for any function or event. Great experience.
Visited for a meeting, amenities provided were top class, staff was very attentive and courteous, meals and snacks provided were quite good
Thanks to the Courtleigh Hotel and Suites for an amazing Christmas dinner. From the moment I drove in to collect, the service, presentation of the food, the quality, was A-class. So happy I ordered this year. God willing I will do the same next Christmas. Highly recommended
Not a bad spot for a Saturday stop. The outdoor bar and eating area is very comfortable. The staff professional and friendly. The maintenance of the large towering trees on this property adds to the feeling of well being.
I went there for a baby shower. The aesthetics were good; very nice set up and the room was spacious. The food was good especially the jerked pork and stamp and go (with the sauce👊). Also, the staff was friendly.
the pool was closed the entire week with no explanation. Suites are very good and housekeeping is very good, but wifi signal is terrible in the rooms and you can hear the cars outside the windows. Theyve reopened the gym and its brand new so thats a +star. Service of food on the outside seats around the pool is the worst, they literally left us there alone for more than 20 minutes. Dont suffer the pain of terrible service and eat inside the restaurant.
Really excellent service. Had some issues with the room door but was always quickly resolved. Hotel has pool, restaurant and bar on site. Location is central in New Kingston and right next to Emancipation Park. Huge thanks to the staff there that catered to us and went above and beyond during our stay. Room was very clean, well stocked and very large - perfect for a business trip.
The suite rooms at this hotel are perfect for long stays and also the breakfast is absolutely amazing! This hotel would not be the same without Oliver he is one of the most caring and a very hardworking person! Also the housekeeping ladies are the sweetest and most helpful people. I stayed here for a whole month the staff hospitality was professional and excellent!
Delicious food!! The cream of pumpkin soup is a must have and its super rich. Jerk Chicken Pasta is my favourite. Service is not the best as on each visit there was inly 1 wait staff manning all the tables.
Location is the only thing that was a plus for my family. Its central to shopping and dining areas. On the other hand, very disappointing!!. The room was very cramped, not to mention the hallways to get to the rooms (very claustrophobic), the shower area was also tiny to the point where my toddler threw a fit about bathing in such small space. When you take a shower all the water seep from the shower stall onto the bathroom floor towards the carpeted room! The room is meant for double occupancy, but your given one bottle of water upon arrival, one teeny tiny shower gel and one wash cloth. The clothing iron didnt work and drained out all the water onto my garment. (Housekeeping was quick to replace same though, so that was a plus). The restaurant sucks in terms of service, they keep forgetting some of our order and when you enter there is no one available to seat you although there is a sign that said wait to be seated.Their website said breakfast included, however they failed to mention which breakfast. 😡The cramped space in which we had to liv e in for the weekend, gave my husband and I terrible headaches. We will most definitely not stay here again. Thats for sure!
Comfortable midrange hotel. Well kept facilities and grounds. Used the meeting rooms and the service was good. This was our conference hotel used over 3 days. It is also centrally located which allowed visitors to enjoy other interesting places in the vicinity.
Held a conference here for a business event and everything was excellent. The food, the staff, the decor, all very friendly and professional. I loved the coffee and other drinks as well. The staff helped us rearrange the vestibule for welcoming guests (above and beyond, imoand overall it was just really enjoyable. Would definitely go back for a stay at the accomodations with how excellently we were treated as business customers.
Only went to the restaurant for dinner. Goodfood. Excellent ambience. Need to have better customer service. Wait staff didnt seem too happy to see us at the start. Took a while to warm up to us. We had to take the friendliness to her. Once she got to that point it was a better all round experience
Very clean and comfortable room, and I was upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The property has a beautiful pool, 2 restaurants, a business center, and a sundries shop. They have a sister property right next door that has additional dining options and an ATM that dispenses both USD and JMD.
Stayed at this hotel for four days. Had an Amazing time. Staff was friendly and accommodating. In the dining area Antonie was kind and helpful and pleasant. If you need transportation ask for Dr. Watson he was the best part of the trip his van was clean, he was friendly, rates were reasonable, and his personality superced all expectations. Thank you Courtleigh I will be back
If you are here on business and just need a clean room without all the bells and whistles this place is an option. They offer a free acceptable breakfast with options to pay for additional elements. The dinner options come from a limited menu which tastes good but are a bit pricey. The internet connection can be be better but it is good enough for basic browsing.
Service at this Hotel is truly outstanding. The staff is courteous, warm and ready to serve with a smile. The meal prices was reasonable and it tasted really good. Presentation is wonderful. Ask the Bartender (C.Jfor his best cocktail and you will not be disappointed. He know just what to blend for you. I will be back the next time I am in the New Kingston area.
The hotel was clean, the air conditioning worked, and the staff were very helpful. I liked the buffet breakfast, and the food in the hotel restaurant, Alexander, looked good. The facilities were fine, there is an on-site laundry room, and a nice gym. Parking is easy in the hotel car park. My room had a separate living room, and a desk for working. It was comfortable. The WiFi worked well. The hotel is close to Emancipation Park which has a good 500m walking/jogging track, and security at night. There are plenty of low end places to eat nearby, but you have to travel a bit for something higher end.
I stayed at the Courtleigh from 12/14 - 12/18 2017. I was so impressed with the place. It was clean. Housecleaning did an extremely superb job with our room. The kitchen crew was kind, and friendly. Front desk staff were warm, patient and polite. I was referred by Carl Dias of JUTA to stay here. I was impressed with Jermaine the first person who greeted us at my arrival. Keep up the good work yall
I got an upgrade to a suite, and the room is spacious and comfortable, even if the fittings are a bit old and my shower sprung a leak Wich was promptly resolved by maintenance. The service is very friendly, and they will strive to make you feel at home. The restaurant is closed for a few hours to set up for dinner, but they have room service 24/7 and a good business center. For 30 USD (same price as a taxi), they will arrange transport to the airport and priority entry through security, as well as a pass for the only VIP lounge there, which is highly recommended.
Hotel is very clean and comfortable. Restaurant has pretty good food. Swimming pool closes at 5 pm so I never got to use it. Avoid room 102 (a suitewhich is next to the very loud laundry room, unless noise in the evening doesnt bother you. Staff nice and attentive.
Beautiful Vintage styled hotel with awesome food and outdoor jerked BBQ. Room we had a beautiful view of New Kingston from the balcony. Doors leading to the balcony can fully slide open for an outdoor room feel. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only problem for me was the lack of power outlets under or near the working desk in the room. Couldnt use my computer on the desk and had to use the drawers instead since they had a plug nearby.
I have spent more than 2 weeks in this hotel and every time I come back I feel like as home. Its small, management is very careful and rooms are overall good. Breakfast is really good and with a vast selection of fruit, bar offers a good menu every day in the week. The Alexander restaurant inside is simply one of the best in town, many people come here to have lunch or dinner. Best things to try are the Jerk special plates on Wednesdays, pasta (both shrimp and jerk chicken), dessert and signature burgher.
Good size rooms, nice restaurant, and good location. There is a small park opposite with 500M perimeter jogging track, perfect if you dont want to use the gym. The only disappointment may be finding a seat at breakfast if the hotel is full (go early!)
I spent a total of three months at this hotel between may and november. The room cleaning personnel was supper nice. The waiters/waitresses were generally friendly and hospitable. The breakfast was plain. The waiting time on everything was extremely s l o w as it is the case with most services in Jamaica. Looking back I have to say I enjoyed my stay and I will miss many things from that hotel.
