Country Club Cafe in Rancho Mirage

I will never again order a cheese omelette. I had to send it back as there was hardly any cheese what so ever inside, I get a new one and the same thing. A cheese omelette means a good amount of cheese should be in it not a little sprinkle. Lunch that I have had has been good love their fries.

We ordered a double cheeseburger, hamburger, and fries and they were all delicious. Great flavor, lots of meat, and they cooked everything in around 5-7minutes. I appreciated that because I was in a hurry. Friendly and great customer service. Highly recommend.

Hit and miss on breakfast. Recommend the breakfast burritos and eggs Florentine. Potatoes too greasy

I ordered for delivery. It arrived wet. Fries and burger on top of the salad in the same bag. Soggy so I threw the salad away. I ate half the burger and fries after reheating them because they were not hot I began to feel ill. Soon I vomited and didnt finish the rest. I dont know if it was the products mixing like that or why it was wet but I am sick.

Not impressed for what I got. Times like today you not only need good food but good prices as well. Fountain drinks are nickles to serve but at a price as high as a burger is not quality marketing.

I ordered the Tri Meat Breakfast Burrito and it was beyond delicious. Will definitely be going back to get another one as well as try other menu items 🌯

Update 2022/10/24:Same great place for breakfast, lunch, or dinner any time of the day. Freshly cooked for you. Great diner atmosphere. Comfortable seating. Great service. Clean. As before, highly recommended.Update 2022/08/25:Everything is the same as always. Lots of people there for late breakfast or early lunch. Food was good. Service and staff were very good. Still highly recommended.Nice small diner thats close to home. Ive been there many times and the service is consistently good and the food is hot and fresh. Today I had the Western Burger (a homemade version of Carls Western Bacon Cheeseburgerwith fries and a drink. It was very good and the cost was almost the same as Carls. The place is roomy and clean. The kitchen is in clear view from the counter and is organized and clean. Plenty of parking all around. Wide menu that covers breakfast, lunch, and dinner choices available all day, mostly American and Mexican cuisine. Its a good place to eat thats in the neighborhood.

Were regular customers, but ordered for delivery this time. The 2 pastrami sandwiches were so dry the were inedible. 30.00 does the drain. The burgers Im told were delicious.

I eat here quite frequently as you order and they bring it to you. The breakfasts and lunches are particularly good. There are many cost friendly specials. I have not eaten dinner there.

Ordered the Greek chicken plateService was friendly and prompt.Food was horrible!Nothing Greek about the dish. Greasy fried rice mixed with a hacked up, over cooked, hard, dry chicken breast. Accompanied by a "Greek" salad , the only thing Greek about the salad was topped with feta cheeseVery disappointed after reading other reviews of this place

Great deals, fast service and good food! Had the club sandwich combo (+fries & drinkand my spouse had the soup of the day (chicken and riceand half sandwich (BLT). Both meals came with fountain drinks. Iced tea was great! One of the cheapest high quality meals you can get in the area.

The temp in the Cafe was really uncomfortable to relax and eat.....put the air on, stop being so cheap!!!!Their food is ok, but I wont be going back. Price wise, way too expensive for diner type food.

Big portion of great foods. Their homemade Chicken N Rice soup was the best. Service was excellent and faster than fast food places. Tip them as much as appropriation!

I’ve been here twice in the past 10 days. It’s always busy and very close to my residence. Staff are friendly and good service. Menu has many options from breakfast to dinner plates. The price here is the question. On both occasions I ordered sandwiches. $14.99 and up. However it just didn’t impress. Both sandwiches had stale buns. Meat was overcooked. One the two orders was carry out and when I got home and unwrapped the sandwich I realized the top bun had been burnt to a black crisp. The breaded chicken was dried out and over cooked. I threw out the bun and tried to eat the chicken but ended up just tossing it in the garbage. With food prices at all time highs this was a shame, it’s like I simply opened my wallet and threw 15 bucs in the trash can.

Good local place due to the amount of workers on lunch break. They have pick up and you can sit inside.

Order here from Uber Eats. 3 menu items ordered, only 2 delivered. Of the two items delivered one was a ham a cheese omelette that was so over cooked it was more brown than yellow and only had a tiny cheese on top, absolutely the worst omelette I ever had. I gave the rest to the dog. I don’t even see why I should try here again, even chain places like Denny’s or IHOP deliver better food.

Its great for a local place where you can get literally anything. However wait times can be interesting and some of the food is sub par because they have soooooooo many things on the menu. Overall Ill keep supporting.

They dont go by the prices posted corndog basket is 7.99 they charged me 10.49. When i mentioned it to employees they sais prices posted are wrong.

Great chicken tenders at great prices! In my opinion better than Canes!

Bland breakfast except for pancakes. Ordered huevos rancheros, French toast platter, and hot cakes. The huevos rancheros had what looked and tasted like plain canned tomatoes and overall was very bland. The Spanish rice was mushy and the beans mightve been fresh from a can too. The French toast was underwhelming, even the scrambled eggs didnt have much flavor. The pancakes actually tasted good - above average like a 3.5-4 on a scale of 1-5. Convenient, fast, but the breakfast was disappointing.

My hubby and I ordered omelets. Very flat, not fluffy at all. Pretty tasteless. Hash browns and toast was okay. Wont be going back.

Ii looks like a Denny’s. Do not be fooled. I had the chili verde plate. Delicious! And I am picky about my chili verde. Dad had the french toast plate. It was equally excellent. Mom had a side of sausage and gravy. It was huge and quite tasty (but not as excellent as the other two). Two giant thumbs up!

I just noticed, everytime I order, they charged a wrong amount...they charged more on my credit card than on my receipt :$1, 50 cents, last time 62 cents...no explanation...so check your credit card... it s a fraud...

Great find....right around the corner from our RMCC home. We do have our favs, but this place will be a regular goto! Momma had the breakfast burrito, which she couldnt finish, and I did a spinach n mushroom omelet. Both were top shelf!!!

I like this place good food fast service I would given it five stars but the mushrooms in my eggs were a lil funny but would deffently go back and recommend

Food was excellent. Its kinda got that old style cafeteria vibe, but once you place your order, staff makes sure that you are ok.

Ive been a loyal customer since day one. They have raised prices 1% but are trying to hide it with a "cash policy" 3.5% on all transactions a 2.5% discount on cash leaving a 1% increase in prices not reflected on menu. Johns it is from now on. Perhaps Goodys as well. Buh bye.

How frustrating. This place charges $.40 cents just to use a credit card. Food was sub par. They gave me the smallest amount of ranch for my large house salad. It barely coated the salad. Goodys cafe is better imo (and Goodys doesnt charge you to use a card and gives you plenty of ranch for a large house salad).

Staff friendly food is definitely flavorlessI dont recommend itChicken tacos soggy. Green burrito tasted nothing like it supposed to. Authentic Mexican flavor is not on this restaurant... sorry 😞

I dont give 5 starts often. What a great find. We love to find "locals" places when traveling if there is such a thing in a place like Palm Desert. Omlets were huge, with tons of great hash browns. Coffee is HOT! Staff is attentive and fast.... Probably be back for more breakfast, lunch or dinner while we are here. Wish I had taken photos. If you want fancy, go somewhere else, but if you want good comfort foods in strip mall, this is the place!

Customer Service ++Food was Amazing. We tried the Club Sandwich with fried Zucchini and Onion Rings. I put the onion rings in my club 😋I recommend sharing, portions are very large.

This was our first visit. This Cafe has no ambience but it does have very nice staff and, more importantly, great fresh food. My husband had the spicy chicken sandwich which he said was delicious. I had a pastrami sandwich also delicious. Price for each sandwich was $10 so pretty average for this area. All the food that came out while we were there looked tempting.They have Diet plates & salads. Mexican food and many other selections. I gave it 4 stars only because this is not a fancy place, just a great place to eat.

The Country Club Cafe is a great little coffee house. I had a really delicious ham omelette with fries and toast on the side.Its clean and friendly and the food is tasty and affordable. Whats not to like ?My only very minor gripe is that the soda glasses are slightly smaller paper cups than Id prefer.Highly recommended.

This little hole in the wall is Fantastic! Seriously some of the Best Grub in the Desert! The place is so clean and the Staff is Amazing. Top 10 for sure! Breakfast can be shared portions are Big! So Good!🐻

Ordered the breakfast special. Budget friendly with no limit in coffee re-fills. Food was great! Friendly staff, clean eating area. Lot of choices on the menu, and more than one special. Not expensive either!

This cafe is a welcome addition to the neighborhood. They have a vast selection of breakfast, lunch and dinner. It has a walk up counter you order and pay at and pick to sit where you like. The dining area is clean, spacious and not overly crowded. The staff is very kind and helpful. Other guests seem happy with the food quality. Will enjoy have a full service cafe with such great hours in the area.
