Couchiching Golf & Country Club - Golf course in Orillia, Canada
High quality bar food. Excellent views with patio or indoor seating. Friendly service in bright modern surroundings.
Great lunch on the patio. Super friendly staff. Cook came out to check on the meal. Great view too. Very reasonable prices on great menu, something for everyone.
Fantastic crepes, chef makes them as you request and simply delicious. Great lunch on deck with my girlfriends, great food and service. "Update" Aug 17, 2022 , Again 6 girlfriends had a fantastic lunch, crepes were soooooo yummy and looked as good as they tasted. Chef is amazing, our server fabulous. Thanks for the great day and we will be back.
Hidden gem the I dont want getting out, great food and view.
Went for a tournament. Great small course for golfers that may not be as experienced. Food was delicious. Beer was a little pricey and the fairways were pretty bumpy in a cart I would say to walk if you are able. Overall nice course and I would return again.
Tricky but challenging little courseAll golfers love a challenge if you havent been you should check it outExcellent food I recommend this to anyone who loves golf
My son is at the lakehead university here in orillia. We just drove down to have a look at the greens. Would love to pay on the course someday.
Great spot for winter fun, dog walking, snowshoeing and nordic skiing (byo). Toboggan hill too. Live this spot and kudos to the owners for making it into a community winter wonderland. Thanks!
Winter or summer is good for all 👍 Good times
Awsome turkey dinner and great service..great staff
Very rude pro-shop manager named Brian. Would not help me get checked in and on the course while he had a conversation with a "member" about their upcoming board meeting he said. Tried to ask for assistance but he refused. Was looking to get a membership there but will not now due to the terrible and rude service I received from Brian. I suggest that he does some training on basic customer service
We were really pleased with the service we received for our private function. Ed and the staff accomodated every request and catered to our specific needs. The staff was very friendly and the food was awesome! The private room and the overall location was perfect. Thank you for taking the time to make sure things for us were just right. We would definately use the facility again.
Much harder course than we expected..but fun for sure.Brent made us feel quite welcome and described course layout to us.
Nice course, like everywhere else right now they are in need of some rain. Greens were still in great condition.
Great course for intermediate difficulty and a very good following of covid protocols
Friendly staff, great course
Great food, nice atmosphere, stunning views, great course….what more could I ask for? Wings Thursday and prime rib Friday.
I actually enjoyed the coarse despite the fact its all moguls(bring your skisand full of dry spots with tiny greens but the service was horrendous. After speading 360 in greens fees for 18 riding foursome and 100 in drinks and snacks the older man starts to berate us as if were new befor heading out. We got no one around us and hes on the 9th telling us we need to hurry. Very rude and argumentative ruined our day and made use feel targeted for being young even though were all over 30. Members we did see in our second way through the 9 were slower than us not that we cared and wonderful curtious golfers. 0stars
Great staff, fun course
My kids and I had a blast sledding on hills.
Get place to take the kids for a sled ride parked on North Street sings showed me where to head thanks orillia
Our Stanley Thompson course in Gravenhurst closed this year and we lucked out to find another Stanley Thompson course in Orillia. We enjoyed the challenges of golfing at Couchiching. Love Stanley Thompsons philisophy of design - makes for a great game.Bogeys restaurant was fantastic. Lots of delicious options.Staff and players ( memberswere most welcoming.Thank you - we will be back.
Its a great little hidden track, and the Thursday wing deal, cant be beat!
Worst experience! Avoid playing this course if you value a good time. Rude people and the course is not worth your time. Check out other courses near by.
Terrible Course , Do not waste your money , my dog can maintain a better course , no respect from other players that are slow as a slug and dont know how to golf and TEE IT OFF THE FAIRWAY , and label as a 18 and its only a 9 hole course VERY VERY DISAPPOINTING
course was brutal 46$ for 1 person 18 holes with a cart to play the bumpiest least maintained course Ive ever been on. so tight you feel like youre in a tunnel . No golf ettiquite followed by other players infront if theyre slow . Owner asked me how it was , when I came back and I said honestly disappointing he gave me a chuckle and asked if it was the course ( so he already knows its poorly maintained not worth the price , if youre looking to have a good day of golf , drive up the highway to trehaven for 40$ with a cart Instead and a real course.
Great little course, friendly and helpful staff. My Dad and I have gone a few times, and plan on going at least a few more times this year just at this course. Absolutely recommended for players of all skill levels!Thank you for the great Fathers Day I was able to enjoy with my Dad at your course! ☺
This Course is in the northern part of Orillia, ON. It is a challenging nine hole Course, overlooking Lake Couchiching. The prices are very reasonable, considering the location and the challenge of this Golf Course. The Golf Pro offered a very warm reception and was very helpful with setting my wife and me up with a Golf Cart. It never seems to be too busy; so it is the perfect spot for a quick, nine hole game, in Cottage Country!
Really nice course.
Great food at Bogeys Restaurant
Attended a Birthday party here, great staff, nice to look over the golf course. The food was good too
Welcoming, good service lovely setting.
You are made to feel welcome from the get go.The girls in the bar area are very friendly and helpful and oh those WINGS!! exceptional.
Great food , excellent service .Friday night prime rib night .That was very good .
Had a most delicious lunch with friendly attentive service. Lovely surroundings and food was served beautifully. Will certainly make this a place to go in the future.
Conveniently located right in Orillia
Great little course, in the middle of town.A treasure in orillia.
Good 9 hole golf course friendly staff
Fantastic Prime Rib dinner!!!
Good course & good meal afterwards
Greens were awsome but fairways are very rough and unequaled. They have 9 holes fit into very thight space so you have tee off right behind the green - you are often at risk off injuring people ahead or being injured by people behind. Lastly, we played a early afternoon game and they had the springlers going the whole time. Not only it is not good water management practice but its a lot of obstacles you have to negotiate.
Its gr8
I don’t golf but frequent Couchiching Golf Club to take my boys tobogganing. I have been going there for years and it’s definitely a great place to go.
Great view, friendly staff.
The golf course is in incredible shape. The restaurant is the best kept secret in town. It is open to the public and the meals and service are fantastic. The view from the deck over looking the course and the lake are spectacular. Make it a point to play a round or have a meal before the season ends
One of my favourite courses. Great rates, nice staff and gorgeous views. Not the most challenging course, but fine for anyone whos not scratch.
Mediocre golf course, oddly laid out. Fairways are cut long, and full of moguls. Its literally possible to lose your ball in the middle of the fairway. Okay for the price...$17 for 9 holes.
Great old local 9 hole course. Reasonable rates, some elevation. Nice new clubhouse. Not snobby at all. Very down to earth staff. Great beginners course. Not a lot of length to holes.
Great for sledding. And golf for young kids.
Beautiful setting, good course
