Cottage Inn Pizza in Columbus

They have one of the best gluten free pizzas. I personally think that are worth the price and the cost is the same as other local pizza restaurants.

Great atmosphere, very patient with my order and got me out the door happily 😌

On a game night, pizza was delivered faster than time quoted, was super hot and fresh, tasted amazing... this is our new "go to" pizza delivery while on campus.

Pizza is really good, their deep dish pizza is awesome, cottage inn is my number one go to for deep dish pizza! And their golden tangy BBQ sauce is freaking amazing 👏. I had ordered a pizza for pick-up and gotten the wrong pizza sauce. I was not sure if this was my mistake or theirs, either way, no big deal. I called back stating "I may have made a mistake, Im not sure" and asked if I could order another at somewhat of a discount for the sake of ordering a second unnecessarily. If denied, again no big deal, I just wouldnt order another and lived with it, instead a man took the phone from the person I was speaking to mid sentence, rudely asked what I wanted, I explained again, then after looking at the order details, he adamantly stated that this was my mistake not his and that it was my fault, and my mistake, not his. Which I replied, "I never said it was your mistake sir." Then he rushed me into gathering what I wanted, stating that they are very busy. Although, it only would take 10 minutes to complete my order. I strongly dislike being disrespected so the only reason I leave 3 stars rather than 1 is because he did allow me 15% off the order which is fair as I half expected nothing, but far more importantly, a much more courteous employee dealt with me on arrival and saved my opinion of the business as a whole; although I still wont be returning on principal. I honestly considered to not even bother picking the pizza up as I had not yet paid but figured it would be too inappropriate and petty to have them make it and then leave it without paying.

I give this a 4, it was amazing 5 I got you on doordash! The first time I had you was amazing! Cheese bread was so fluffy! And delicious and deep dish was 😋 😋 yummy. I cleared the box! I got you last night around 10pm to 11pm and I was so disappointed my cheese pizza bread was burnt and haed I think we could only eat 5 center peices. The the deep pizza tasted like straight old mushroom, the pesto was so flat. I was truly sadness by it because bragged about how delicious it was! I would love to order again bu5 now iam nervous that I was just lucky on the first try.

It is open until late night, and serves great food.

When we called to check on an Uber eats order the employee that answered the phone was extremely rude and kept shouting “online orders only” repeatedly. Tried to just get an estimated time for the order but the employee was extremely loud and shouting. Do not recommend coming to this place due to extremely unprofessional employees. I understand it was a concert night and they were probably slammed but that is not an excuse to yell at a customer and hang up the phone.

I’m addicted to this pizza! I have had pizza in almost every state in the U.S., in Canada, and throughout Italy, and this is my 2nd favorite pizza!! Trieste Pizza in Rome, IT is my #1. I dreamed about that pizza for days after eating it. I still get shivers down my spine just thinking about it.Anyways, Cottage Inn has damn good pizza!

This was the WORST PIZZA I HAVE EVER HAD!! This was my 1st and last time to have this pie. I paid 30 bucks for pizza and salad and soda. The salad was 9.00 for a salad my 5 year old would eat alone. The pizza was burnt. The only thing they didnt ruin was the Pepsi. Ive had better pizza in a school lunch!

I have called the past week, every day to find out why Cottage Inn Pizza was not delivering. The first time I called, she stated that they were shorthanded and hung up. Everyday is the same except her attitude has escalated. Today, I tried to order a pizza over the phone and she stated there were only two people working and they were extremely busy. She hung up. Another associate from that restaurant called me twice to cuss me out. The only thing I suggested to the person I talked to today, they need to up the pay and hire more people. Apparently she did not like that and so now the manager is calling me Non-Stop using profanity.

Our first visit to Pizza Cottage sadly is our last .The pizza was excessively salty to the point of not being able to eat itTo salvage our leftovers I cut it up and sprinkled it over salads like croutons and was still excessive saltBe aware those with salt issues like higher blood pressures, cancer concerns, ademas, etc...I was so excited to get pizza, It looks good, smells good but very Disapointed in salt content ,😞

Good sauce and even better mozzarella. And the different crust options add to the pizza for the last bites.

Employee was rude and unprofessional. I tried to order pizza for several days but was unavailable. She stated, well no screamed at me, we dont have enough employees working. Its going to be awhile before you get your pizza. Oh Im sorry were not delivering today again X 3 days.

We had to come to Columbus for a week back in October. We dont really like to eat chain restaurants so this was something we had never heard of so we ordered. Im telling you the "Cuban " is one of the best pizzas ive ever ate. We enjoyed it so much we ordered it again two days later. Now were back in Columbus again two months later and we will be enjoying it for a third time.

I recommend the deep dish. Its very good. Theres enough toppings to balance it out. If you like pickles, try the Cuban. Really tasty!

My roommate and I just tried Cottage Inn Pizza for the first time. We got pizza and bread sticks. It was absolutely delicious! Im looking forward to trying other items off the menu.

Best pizza I’ve ever had. The crust is superb and I actually look forward to eating it. Fully recommend the Parmesan crust.

I order from here while at work quite often. They are always quick to deliver and their food is absolutely excellent! Their breadsticks are the best!!! The Garlic cream cheese is a favorite. The pizza and subs are amazingly flavorful. Hands down one of my favorites in the campus district and their rewards points are great to accrue and utilize as well!

I was recommended Cottage Inn by a friend, and am glad I decided to give it a try.Both times have had quick delivery and the quality/flavor of the food has been great thus far. They have also not forgotten the extra garlic sauce cups which many other pizza places do too often.I will definitely be ordering from them again!

Clearly not all Pizza Cottage locations are the same. We thought this would be the same as Cicleville and Buckeye Lake but we were sadly mistaken. We love those two previously mentioned locations. Excellent service and product in Circleville and Buckeye Lake. However this review is not about those locations.This location is very skimpy on meats. We ordered two Italian subs (one 12" and one 6"), a medium thin crust pizza and wings. The 12" sub had 5 small slices of meat. The 6" sub had 3. They were also skimpy with the veggies.The pizza we ordered thin crust but we received a hand tossed pizza. The Pizza was good just not what we ordered. While this shouldnt be acceptable I am fine with the pizza because it was a version of what we ordered.The wings were good. No complaints

Uber Eats accidentally delivered someone’s Cottage Inn order to my house. There wasn’t an address to see if it was a neighbor that I could take it to. I didn’t want to deal with Uber Eats because I’ve had to do that enough in my career. I figured the restaurant would care more about getting the order to the customer. I also know they’re capable of dealing with UberEats themselves.As a FAVOR(remember I was included in this by no deicision of my own. I don’t even eat pizza,I called the restaurant and told them they probably want to get their pizza to the right house. I know they can’t take the pizza back because of food safety and that I’m now obligated to throw it away.After we confirmed I did have his customer’s order from this location, the Cottage Inn employee on the phone got really rude with me on the phone and said “Why are you talking to me? Call the driver.”I said “Because I thought you’d want to get your customer his food.”He said, “Get off my phone and call the driver.”I said, “Sir, I didn’t willingly enter this transaction. This pizza was accidentally delivered to my house. I’m doing you a favor and trying to help you get your customer his food.”He yelled at me, “THIS ISNT MY PROBLEM. CALL UBER.”I hung up and wrote this review.I’ve never left a negative review in my life and I can’t believe I had to do it somewhere I didn’t even get any food from!Terrible customer service. Well, terrible service to a non-customer trying to help their business. UberEats being involved doesn’t mean it stops being their food going to their customer. UberEats is a courier.Sorry you didn’t get your food, Mark.

A friend recommended this place and I was worried from reading some of the reviews but I can definitely say the pizza, breadsticks, wings all of it has been amazing. I have ordered from them a dozen times before posting this review. I have not had any issues with any of the food I have ordered. The staff is good and the food is ready super fast. If you had a bad experience here I would give them another try.

Big ripoff, poor quality. I ordered a Cuban sub and it maybe had 4 oz of pork and one slice of ham cut up and placed sparingly on a whole 12 inch sub. Looks nothing like advertised. I called asking if I could get another one because this was made so poorly.... The owner who answered the phone just replied "what" and handed the phone to his employee who made it. He said I did it as I am supposed to, and said have a good night and hung up. Now I know why people tell me not to order College Inn pizza. Nothing looks even close to as it is pictured, and the owner will put on a subordinate who just essentially says deal with it. Worst kind of customer service I experienced. There are so many better pizza establishments in Columbus like Brenz. Dont waste your time or money here!

I normally love cottage inn. I did have one bad experience with a delivery. But it happens. Today however I decided to try one of their calzones. Never again. It was huge. However the dough wasnt cooked and the calzone was soggy. Definitely not impressed. I will stick with their pizza.

This pizza is always fresh! Nice cheap price! The dough is amazing and has the best aroma. It is so refreshing to my nose and taste buds! I love Cottage Inn Pizza. They have some of the friendliest employees and I think is a great team. I see them work together well! And Im there often. Great pizza to try if you are in the "Campus Area" of Downtown Columbus Ohio! Great service, great pizza, great place!

Decent food but absolutely appalling customer service. I received someone elses order and when I called to inform them they were not interested in trying to resolve the issue. I was also repeatedly shouted at being told that the where too busy to deal with the call, not once did I even have an apology for their mistake.The order I did receive had dietary and allergy modifications so I can only assume that whomever recieved my order was unable to eat it too.Thanks Cottage Inn for ruining what was a great evening with your complete lack of respect for your patrons and your atrocious attitude towards paying customers (you know they people that keep you in business)

My Uber Eats driver was excellent and such a big help. Cottage Pizza was very unhelpful. I ordered my food and waited for delivery and received another customer’s delivery order. Instead of simply fulfilling my order, They decided to cancel all efforts and just return my money and demand that the Uber Eats driver walk away. Very disappointed with my service. Unable to recommend their product in part because of inability to try it and the other part because of their general conduct.

I have been eating from here for a while. Now since its under new management it seems that customer care has went out the window. I called in and ordered a 12 inch motor City meatball sub and a salad, they are my favorite from this place. The delivery was quick but I was quite puzzled when I opened the door and saw a pizza box. Apparently the lady must have not heard the sub part and sent me a medium meatball pizza. After laughing off the mistake and assuring the delivery guy that I was fine with it instead I sat my food down. Going for the salad first I flip open the lid and dump it into a bigger bowl revealing the decomposing and molded bottom of the salad. At this point I was pretty bummed. I called to talk to a manager and the owner answered. He talked very fast and unclear seemly getting mad at me asking to repeat himself because I couldnt quite understand him. I had told him about the sub mistake and told him that I wasnt really bothered with that as much as the moldy salad. He repeatedly told me he would give me a credit for the salad. At that time I told him I just wanted my money back and he keep telling me that he would just give me a credit. I dont feel its fair to take someones money and hold on to it like that. I was more than willing to trade him back his black moldy salad for my $5 back. After he kept repeating that he was giving me a credit I just decided to give up. Not really worth getting all worked up over a 5 dollar salad but it sucks to just have someone take your money like that. That 5 bucks is lost because after listening to the owner and how he handled the situation I wont be returning. Sad before they switched owners I used to really like the subs here.... Thats my story of my one star experience with cottage inn on High Street.Update; They were quick to respond on here but I actually took the time to email them. No response. Shows you that this company truly has forgotten about customer care. They definitely dont seem interested in making it right.Update 2; Still no word back from "corporate" obviously they arent worried about taking my money or losing my business. No credibility here!

This is one of my go to pizza places for carryout pizza near OSU. Pizza is great and the price is fair. My only complaint is that it’s hard to order what you want on Eat Street but if you use their own site you should not have any problems.If you pick up there are a few options for parking but I always would park at the Church behind the Little bar. Just don’t stay in those spots for to long.

Very good at creating a customized pizza, just the way one asks for; however, ownership or management must have changed since I was last here--not as friendly as the former people were. I still love the ingredients, especially the sesame-seed crust!

I never leave reviews, but this is has been my go-to OSU campus area pizza place for a long time. Delicious pizza, great quality toppings, and the delivery service is always fantastic and super fast. Ive ordered dozens of times and the pizzas always arrive hot and fresh. They even sent me a handwritten note thanking me for being a loyal customer, along with a free side of cinnamon sticks and an online order discount voucher. You can tell they really care about their customers.

I never heard this place before i thought it was local but it is franchise but local owner. Very quick, hand made, great taste and like helping local owned businesses and usually service is better than managed by the managers. This location service was great and the guy who served us was actually the owner. While ordering can see where they make the pizza as well and place was spotless very clean location. Now I go here at least once a week. I recomend at least try once and you will be hooked.

First time ordering. Aside from the fact there was on average 1 pepperoni and 2 pineapple pieces per slice... It tasted good. Not the best crust, pretty bland. It was the lack of toppings that didnt make it ”gourmet" for me 😥

This place is awesome. Open on Christmas Eve and still serving some ridiculously delicious Hawaiian pizza. If your reading this you should already be Google mapping how to get there its that good. I mean Ive been eating food for 29 years now and this place has a special spot in my belly.lol

This place has the most amazing pizza that my tastebuds have eve seen. The cheese to sauce ratio is perfect balance and should be adored. The service is very friendly and they are sure to make the customers their first priority.

Pizza good but the last time my coworker and I ordered, our food didnt even get delivered. An hour after it was supposed to arrive I called the store and the guy said the delivery driver was on his way. One hour later I tried calling again to see what was going on and they stopped answering the phone. Never had the courtesy to call me or my coworker. Cottage Inn lost both my coworker and I as customers. I can no longer recommend this place to anyone. This was not the first time either. Several other times they were 30mins-1hr late delivering. That incident where they never bothered to show up was the last straw! The worst service from a pizza restaurant! Stick to a place like pizza fresca that delivers within 30-45 mins.

We are from Kansas City driving through Ohio and we stopped here to eat. Excellent customer service. Staff was very kind and helpful. Best of all the pizza was delicious. Excellent fluffy crust and fresh topping. Would come by again when I am Im Ohio

Order carryout on 5/22/2018 my husband and I had a XL pepperoni pizza and cheese bread. I dont think me and him have ever eaten 1 piece of pizza in are life and refused to eat more. I dont think Ive ever had pizza I didnt like. The cheese bread was basically raw dough and a 1/4 of it cooked through. I will never be back wanted to try some place new. Sad some place like that is still in business. Im shocked how could you go wrong with pizza?? Flavor bland and pizza tasted worse than school pizza. Yuck

Today 5/18/2018, Went to cottage inn to try the single slice pizza. Which this will explain the rating. The slice of pizza was hard referring to the crust I asked the server how long it’s been in the heated tray he said never longer than half hr. If that is true they should change to 20 mins. Very disappointed that spent 2 dollars on that nasty slice of pizza. Crust was tough. They did not reheat. Maybe I just expected something different.

I have tried Chicken Parmesan and The Favorite pizzas and I can say this place is the best pizza place in OSU. Good quality ingredients and fast service. Whenever I crave for pizza, Cottage Inn would be my choice in Columbus.I think there is a new management and I am pretty sure they will address the issues of the previous management in no time. Highly recommended!

This is the most amazing pizza and ranch I have ever eaten!! I found this pizza during college and now that I am graduating I will for sure miss it :( My favorite is the pepperoni and sausage pizza with ranch. I have ordered online and over the phone and been great service, along with delivery. I also love the late night availability. Best stuff ever!!

I have eaten here two times in the last week and a half. This was weird for me because I am not usually on campus. I got the turkey sub first and it was by far, the best sub sandwich I have had in Columbus to date. Then I got the greek salad. I was astonished at what I received for such a low price. Everything was fresh and delicious and the people working were so nice to me that I was surprised I hadnt been in sooner or at least heard about how great they are. If I could give 6 stars I would.

Very slow service. Placed an online order for pickup and I arrived 30 min later (the max time my confirmation email said it would take for it to be doneand waited around 10 minutes to be acknowledged by the staff to find that our pizza hadnt even been put in the oven yet. Left and came back another 30 minutes later after that and had to wait at the counter for another 10 minutes to be acknowledged by the staff once again. The pizza itself was alright, but its definitely overpriced for the slow service and small portions of toppings they give.

Ordered pizza.The taste wasnt bad and they were pretty quick with the delivery. The only issue I have is that they are VERY skimpy with their toppings. We literally got one pepperoni, one mushroom and one little sliver of an onion on each slice. I probably wont order again but I wouldnt say it isnt right for someone else.

Heard pizza was good so decided to order it, and were told it would be ready in 15 minutes for pick up. We arrived in 20 minutes, paid, and were told from cashier it would be a few minutes. 20 minutes later, we asked if it would be coming out soon and then we were told it wasnt even in the oven yet. Hmmm, so that means what, another 30 minutes? Very disappointed in service and they handled a busy crowd very poorly. Wont be going back considering there are many other great pizza places on campus that wont lie to you about your pizza being done!
