Modern, all-day French brasserie chain, serving regional specialities and traditional classics.
Great place for brunch
Consistently good, attentive staff and nice menu. Very good
Fantastic early lunch today. Great steak.Thank you to our fantastic server Souraya
My good friend and I went for breakfast 2mins before. Breakfast was over .But the kind gentleman said we still got time for breakfast. Very good customer service and the breakfast was excellent 19/10/2022
Ordered full English breakfast at £11.50 and vegetarian breakfast at £10.95. Portion size is very small for the price which is expensive. Poached eggs were overcooked, cold and utterly tasteless. Had to ask for butter for the minute slices of accompanying sourdough.Service was very good, but they automatically add on 10% to the bill for this...which i think is wrong.Wouldnt return.
One of the few proper eateries open at a reasonable time for breakfast in the area. Good efficient and friendly service. Food arrived promptly, well prepared and perfectly proportioned. My French breakfast was very tasty and varied and my wife enjoyed her vegetarian breakfast too. Not overly expensive considering the quality, well worth a visit.
Great lunch, great service. Stopped for a light lunch, great sharing platter.
Consistent with other Côte restaurants Ive been too. Service was attentive without feeling rushed. Monkfish nicely cooked, would have liked a little more for the price and to fill up the dish. No doubt well return in the future.
Excellent food and good menu choice served by attentive and accommodating staff
This is a very nice breakfast place .2 adults and 2 kids. bill 50£. [we were 8 in total 4 adults and 4 kids]and the total bill was 100£]We had salmon Benedict’s / egg Royal (9.75£French toast (7.95£eggs florentine, vegan breakfast (9.95£). With juices (each 4.5£)and coffee (2.55£tea (2.4£)Very reasonable and very tasty.Highly recommended.(Not halal)
Food poisoning galore wouldnt even refund 0* if I could. Many better Cote restaurants than this one 👍
Lovely food and atmosphere, perfect for a dinner date. Me and my boyfriend really enjoyed the steak and the fries were great. We both love the drinks there, I especially loved the sparkling elderflower presse. Simply fantastic
I really enjoyed my lunch at Cote in Bristol. This was my first time visiting the Bristol branch, having eaten at a few London branches. I had the beef cheek bourguignon, which was a good sized portion. They have a range of dishes and cater well if you’re gluten free or have other allergies.
Stopped here for brunch. Lovely bistro offering English and French food. I had the French breakfast and enjoyed the French version of black pudding. My partner had smashed avocado on toast. Good quality food and great service. Coffee was also a great blend in my flat white. Would recommend.
Excellent food, nice atmosphere. Just a lovely restaurant.
Great food - good choice for our Vegan & Vegan/GF guests. Lovely friendly staff really looked after us for our anniversary.
Absolutely amazing service all the staff were incredibly attentive and polite. Food was absolutely delicious and the chocolate fondant was extremely tasty. Would completely recommend and will visit again. Thank you for the amazing experience! :)
Outdoor Brunch! Amazing quality food! Reasonably priced. Definitely visit again!
Always one of my favourite restaurants. Great food, amazing staff..highly recommend
Ive been here twice and each time, the waiters were very attentive and the food was delicious. For reference, I normally despise leafy greens, but the preparation here made them not just tolerable but tasty, and the foods I normally like anyway (such as steakwere incredible. For the one side I didnt enjoy (the truffle chipsand didnt eat, I was refunded, which impressed me.As for specific dishes, the top of their creme brulee can be a bit bitter (though the custard part is great), but the fillet noir is delectable and absolutely worth the price.
Had not eaten in Cote before so was looking forward to it. We started with the calamari which was very nice. All courses came very quickly. For mains I had pork belly which was tasty but dauphinois portion was small I thought. Would have been nice with some vegetables too. My friend had the chicken which she said was dry. The atmosphere was nice except for 1 member of staff we felt was a little arrogant and the huge blue bottle flying around us. Wine was reasonable compared to some places. Overall we paid £35 each for 2courses and a bottle of wine
Had a lovely dinner here. Always a lovely experience at Cote.
A good place for lunch ! Great service ! Nice large terrace in the sun. A bit mineral though.
CÔTE is the only chain restaurant I give my custom to. Always consistent quality. Love the steak frites. This branch had particularly nice waiting staff when we were there.
TERRIBLE experience was very bad. The fish was not fresh and the taste was terrible and rotten. Mosquitoes was around because of the smell. And a fee was charged without permission for the restaurant service. The olive was sour. And to finalize the account was very expensive and unexplained.Shame on me, Im never going back there.
Went for the full breakfast. Its really a half breakfast poorly cooked, burnt toast and cardboard bacon. Wasnt impressed
This is my first time to have dinner with my family. All we tasted onion soup and we thought it was really delicious. The main course I tried was beef cheek, it was perfect!!! We were happy and felt satisfaction that night 😄
Food is always delicious and service great. However some of the menu items dont meet expectations (crab a la maison and crepes). One of my favourite locations. Staff are super efficient and very friendly. Props to Ryan and Simon for going the extra mile.
Absolutely suggested! We came here in a group of 4, all of us chose a different dish and all of them were really tasty and well presented! The service was spotted on, our waitres was really polite and really attentive! With attention to detail and extra care :the location is really nice too! Ill definitely come back here!!
Excellent good , great ambience, friendly staff - enjoy
Really disappointed. Sat at a table outside and after a wait my friend went inside to ask how we order. She was greeted by 3 members of staff, one of whom abruptly asked her where she was sat. He then said "well I have to clean your table first". She then rejoined me where we continued to wait for a few minutes. A member of staff then came out to the table next to us to give a bill and ignored us!! Needless to say, after 10 minutes of waiting, being snapped at and then ignored we left and went to klosterhaus next door!!! Dont bother visiting if you want a drink or friendly service!!!!
Just returned from a lovely evening in Cote…exceptional service on a busy Saturday night. Food was as expected; brilliant quality, unpretentious, beautifully cooked and served on hot plates. Great wine too with swift but ‘un pushy’ service.
Lovely staff, great atmosphere. Food a good 8/10. Creme brulee was fantastic & wine very good! The only thing Id like is veg with the meal. You have to pay extra, vegetables should Always come with a meal.
Nice restaurant in the overall. A think a good selection of food, fish, meat, appetizers and main dishes. Restaurant has a good selection of wines maybe not too wide as per the food but enough. Good service and attention for the presentation. Price in line with the quality. I had onion soup and fish stew. Rea
Went here yesterday with my wife as it was her birthday had the French onion soup to start then confit pork belly, wife had mushroom pate with bread then chickpea taboulé food tasted very nice, however within half an hour after leaving I experienced stomach cramps and diarrhea & spent a good part of what should have been my wifes birthday celebration on the toilet, then having to find a chemist to purchase imodium, to relieve symptoms to be able to drive home.I am very disappointed in the outcome of their investigation and discussion with Côtes management only to be told that its not down to them. Prior to our visit I was perfectly well! And yes Côte it was your fault
Loved it here. Came here to do some good old Xmas shopping... you know, that time of year which is hustle and bustle, so a coffee break always helps. The service here was great, and had a nice choice on the menu. I would definitely recommend this gem if youre nearby in the centre.
Our first time to the restaurant and what a pleasant surprise . The ambiance and staff attentiveness was just awesome. From the appetiser to mains and deserts , the food was delicious and very decorative. I certainly felt miles away from city of Bristol , and maybe in a small street in the suburbs of Paris . Attila and Amalia were brilliant waiters and very professional, I would recommend a visit to this place , will definitely stay on my list of places to frequent
Stopped by for Sunday evening drinks. Drinks were nice and location lovely. Unfortunately our experience was ruined by a very grumpy, unapproachable waitress who didnt seem happy to serve us at all. Service in general was slow even though the restaurant was not very busy. I wouldnt usually mind but its not great when youve been waiting for someone to take your order and when they eventually arrive they just make you feel as though your custom is an inconvenience! No apology for slow service and Im pretty sure she rolled her eyes at us at least once!
Great restaurant. The food quality was up to scratch and I enjoyed all my courses. What supprised me was the good sized portions we were given for the price. Top marks there. The atmosphere was good on a Saturday evening which had a slightly upscale feel without being too pretentious. Location is nice in the square as well.Service was also fantastic. 5 stars.
Brunch at Cote is served on weekends from 10am. We booked our visit in advance easily through their website. The food was delicately made and everything was delicious. The Hollandaise sauce was particularly tasty. The only thing we felt was missing were the beans in the full breakfast. The lattes are the perfect side for any brunch dish, or you could alternatively have one of their delicious juices such as cranberry or orange.
Pretty good service even though they did not have many of the meals on the menu. Very good wine and tasty food. I recommend!
Friendly staff and great atmosphere... highly recommend, the food was well presented and tasted amazing... will be back
I have been here two times now, the staff are very helpful and friendly. The food is very tasty and good sizes too. They do gluten free food too. They will put a little flag to show what is gluten free.
It’s ok. The eggs benedict and royale had a distinct lack of green on the side, and the tea was bland. It’s a chain, and probably still trading on that. Otherwise, fine.
We called in here for lunch during some down time at a hen do. The service was good and quick and everyone enjoyed their food. The goats cheese salad was really good.
Stopped here for lunchExcellent service. The beer, champagne and wine were really good and the food was delicious, seasond to perfection.Lovely atmosphere with background music just right. My only suggestion for improving would be to use nicer beer glasses.
A lovely restaurant, with good french cuisine at a reasonable price. Staff were helpful and friendly, and the 2 course lunch menu du jour was delicious.
Went NYD for lunch. Excellent choice of food and drink. And I mean excellent. The set menus are very responsibly priced and the potions are just right. The service was very good and the place kept clean. Will happily go again.
Great selection of tasty dishes. Not many veggie options but the risotto I had was delicious! Leave space for one of their amazing desserts!
A excellent example of the Côte brand: well-presented; well-run; and all customers leaving well-fed.The restaurant has a great location in the heart of the smart Cabot Circus shopping district, which makes it very handy for post-shopping dinner. The menus are based on French classics, and are all well-presented and very reasonably priced. There is an extensive wine list, and all desserts are very scrumptious! The staff were all very pleasant and attentive, a reliable gem amongst the upper tier of chain restaurants.
