Great venue!

A must see for all ages if you are in the SJ area. There are at least three museums in this great building plus you can eat there. Nice staff.

There was so much more than we expected. My kids got tired before we finished it all! The virtual reality games were a big hit with them. Little unexpected hits around each corner.

Great for children, games and exhibits! I enjoyed the art exhibition too. Also, It holds history on Costa Ricas jail system previously located there. Interesting place!

Great place to bring the kids

It was difficult to tell the difference between this and the childrens museum. I think I saw both for the price of one. With a guide.

Closed for Holy Week and all the way through the end of week. I wish this information was posted online before we walked all the way up here.

This place used to be nice, now is falling apart. It needs some love and attention. In the reading room, they dont have one single book for kids, is all for adults. I found economy books, marketing, coding....nothing really good for the little ones. The others exhibitions are incomplete. They are missing the parts to complete the games. For example, in the Egyptian room there are a couple of games that need dices, but no dices, so no sense on keeping that game there. The costumes are stinky and dirty. In general this place needs some love.

Highly recommended schools science museum. Great for families, great customer service and there is always something new going on.

Its packed with educational and cultural things.

AKA The Kids Museum... never been to one so big. Theres a huge amount to see for the kids, and it will help them learn Spanish at the same time.

Nice place but a little outdated.

Looking for dinosaurs, curiosities, an upside down mirrored optical illusion? This place has got everything. Even an indoors shopping-conscious food shopping everything commissioned by Walmart!

Parking excelent. National auditorium is quite good. Great if you need to go to an event there.

Very nice place

I find it a bit weird that the emphasis of the experience revolves around corporations and public institutions. One would expect a greater focus on scientific attractions. Also the museum was lacking in maintenance. In spite of that kids had an amazing time.

I went to a show there at night the seats were comfortable, the place was clean everything was fine.

Children love this place. They can go and explore, they can learn by playing. Im 18 and I still enjoy visiting this place.

This is an absolutely awesome museum. As an adult I even had a lot of fun and learned tons! They always have plenty of things for the kids to do, and regularly have family events planned!

Pretty good actually. Food was cheap and decent for its value. A lot of things to do. If you plan on visiting make sure you come early morning if you want to cover the whole museum.
