Hands down my favorite restaurant in Baltimore. The attention to detail in atmosphere and staff was incredible. The food tasted like I was back in Sicily. And the wine selection was perfectly paired. Perfect place for celebrating...anniversary, birthday, and hosting for any special occasion. Highly recommend. We will be back for sure.

Come ready to indulge yourself. The family and I had a great time. The food was amazing, especially the tiramisu🤤. They had some good vegetarian options for me to choose from as well. The outdoor seating is beautiful by the water. Will be back soon.

Maybe not their best night. For appetizers we ordered the octopus and the burrata. The octopus was cooked well if maybe a little smaller than expected. But there were a lot of chickpeas under it that didn’t seem seasoned at all. The burrata didn’t taste like much and didn’t look like some pictures we have seen or like the last time we had gotten it here. The bread with it was very hard and the tomatoes were very cold and didn’t taste good. For mains we got the steak and the sea bream. The sea bream was cooked well and not dry. I don’t think it needed as much sauce as there was over it and made it look kind of unappealing. The steak was fine but needed salt as it didn’t seem seasoned either. We ordered a couple of cocktails which were the best things we had while visiting. We also had the wine fight which was 3 rosés. I recommend the drinks over the food. We also got the tiramisu for dessert which was fine.Nothing was “bad” but it was a bit of a let down. Especially for the prices.

Disappointing evening here for a special occasion (which we informed the restaurant).Mainly due to the food and service. Found the menu limited in every section - maybe four choices.Entrees were enormously overpriced. Sent the side of brocollini back because it was cold and not cooked. It came back again - in the same state.Cocktails were brought up to the table (not by our waiter, but maybe the ownerand my husbands was presented to him and given a name, mine was not - weird.Waiter was not attentive. His worst tablewaiting faux pas: the bill was left on the table before it was asked for.I was hoping maybe a complimentary Prosecco to toast our special occasion - especially as they knew why we were there (in the notes, and we were greeted/congratulated by the hostess for our special occasion- but no, nothing was forthcoming.Im not surprised that the place was half-empty on a Saturday night - it used to be a good restaurant but we wont be returning. Should have gone to Limoncello in Locust Point instead.

I loved the atmosphere. Such a cool and historic spot. I met the head chef and he gave me a short history of the mill and what is used to manufacture. Fantastic transformation into a bar/restaurant.Drinks were so very well made at the very cool bar. Apps (pizza, meatballs, octopuswere great. Main seafood dishes were great too. Was able to try the couscous seafood and the 5 people in our party that got the whole fish (sea bream and branzinowere all incredibly happy. Unfortunately I got the steak. It was tough and lacked flavor. The highlight was that it came with great sides, but thats not supposed to be the highlight of a $40+ steak. That being said, Ill definitely be back and get a seafood or pasta main course. The staff and the restaurant were worthy of a second trip. Great date spot.

Fabulous Italian fine dining spot. Dishes are thoughtfully crafted and cooked perfectly. Impressive wine list. Everything was delicious. It is pricey, but not without reason. The branzino was a highlight. Finish your dining experience with their amaro flight.

We stopped by here yesterday for a dinner for two. The ambience and service was welcoming plus a decent nice decor. Our waiter was awesome with some good recommendations. We ordered the burrata, octopus with salad and the the huge fish dish. We really enjoyed the burrata and fish but the octopus tasted a little too burnt and didnt hit the spot. Aside that, we really enjoyed the whole vibe and service here.

I havent visited as often as Id like, and the past year being a bust goes without saying, but when I do visit it is always great. A modern chill atmosphere where the service is top notch, and the food has always been 10/10. A fave!

Weve eaten at Cosima a few times, each time hoping it would be better. The food is a solid 3 star quality. The chicken cacciatori was a chicken leg swimming in polenta, the crab pasta was an appetizer sized meal missing lump crab and seasoning. My steak was okay. The space is beautiful and the food mediocre. Go for cocktails and find another place for dinner.

The appetizers were absolutely delicious. We got the octopus and the burrata to start which were unbelievably good, but our mains were underwhelming to say the least. We ordered the short rib pizza and the pasta pomodoro which were both new on the menu. If I remember correctly, it was actually the first night/ week they were serving those two items, and they were bland and uninspiring especially for the price tag. However, I will give this restaurant another chance because the service was exceptional and the tried and true items on the menu seem like they’re good.

Aaron (GMand Aaron (bartenderare wonderful! Try the Arancina if you like an old fashioned but with a bitter kick. The octopus was phenomenal. I truly cannot describe how great the first bite was. I could have eaten that for every meal for the rest of my days. When there was no more delightful, perfect-textured octopus left on my plate, I devoured the arugula dressed with an exquisite citrus vinaigrette. It was a small, simple meal that left me daydreaming about my next visit and next order! Thanks, Aaron² !

From the complementary valet, to the hostess who greeted us by name, to our lovely waitress, to the perfect patio setting - this was the perfect way to spend our anniversary. The food was a bit overpriced for what it was but overall tasty and a very nice experience! Thank you!

Cosima thoroughly impressed from beginning to end.We had dinner in the patio area, which I would highly recommend (weather permittingas it overlooks a small stream area. The cocktails were delicious and also not stingy on serving size. We ordered kind of tapa-style with the gnocchi, cauliflower, meatball, and a sausage-pasta dish (I dont remember the italian names for these dishes).Everything was good, albeit a tad pricey, but I would say worth the price.Definitely recommend for a nice dinner date!

Atmosphere is great and the place is beautiful. The food was underwhelming and overpriced though. I paid $55 for an 8 oz filet mignon and asked for it medium rare and it came out almost well done. That is very over priced to not get the temperature of the meat right. The meat itself was good but some of the other food like the rustic pasta (with red saucewas underwhelming. They did have amazing meatballs, burrata, and bread though.

My wife and I came here for our anniversary and everything was wonderful! The food was delicious - we got burrata, the vegetarian pizza (gluten free), cauliflower, and brussel sprouts. These small plates were delicious and more than enough for us. Drinks were great as well. The hostess Stephanie was super fun - she took great care of us, took great photos for us, and got us a wonderful table (the pit - cute, private, highly recommend).

Ive only been here once but what a first impression! The overall look and feel of the restaurant was wonderful. The pizza salumi was the best pizza Ive ever had. The il pesce pattina was cooked and plated beautifully. Last but not least, the Santo Nero drink that I had was the right flavor to alcohol ratio that makes you want to have another before youre even done👌🏾. It was more on the expensive side but I felt that it was truly worth it. I definitely plan on coming here again.

Great food, loved the ambiance. Only issue was me and my wife came in many empty tables, yet they wanted to seat us at the back table by the kitchen, area covered by a cloth and server coming in and out. I requested to be seated on a empty table behind the bar and they moved me. But I noticed all night that other couples that came in were never seated at that particular back table, they even sat them on 4 person tables, yet they wanted me and my wife to sit there. Is it because every couple was caucasian and we are latinos? Besides that service was good and yummy food!!!

Had dinner outside on a very cold fall evening. I hadn’t heard much hype about this place, so I wasn’t sure what to expect.I was impressed by every aspect - ambience, service, food, and drinks. The three of us each has a cocktail to start, and I tasted an enjoyed each one. Our server, Greta, was so pleasant that I still remember her name weeks later. The food was very good and all three diners were satisfied. Perhaps most importantly to us - they had a lovely heated patio for those preferring to dine outdoors, even in the cold. A great place to have in the area.

Ambience was great and the complimentary valet was also convenient, but the food was so so. Ordered the 20oz porterhouse but what we got looked like an at most 12oz thin slab of meat, cooked rather unevenly because it was so thin. Asked for medium rare but had medium well areas. I’d avoid the steak and try a seafood dish which got positive comments from neighboring tables.

My partner and I visited for the first time this past Friday and we enjoyed our experience. The interior itself is very cozy, boasting modern industrial flair and accessible views of the Jones Falls stream. It’s perfect for a intimate night out or professional gathering. We started the night with drinks and appetizers and decided on the brussels and meatballs. The brussels (although rather saltywere very tasty, delightfully crispy and complimented with a garlic honey aioli. The meatballs were perfection! We followed up with the porcini pappardelle, porterhouse steak and ended the night with Tiramisu. The pasta dish was phenomenal and the porterhouse was good too (just needed a little more saltAll in all, I’d recommend and I would definitely come back.

Always a great night at Cosima. The Lobster entree, amazing, with the side of rustic pasta, I could eat that alone, also available as a side - get it. The apps were ok, Fritto Misro was a little bland, needed something and the Brussels were ok. Should have had the meatballs. The cocktails, on point, and the place is beautiful where you sit on the balcony, downstairs, or outside. Easy valet parking and the service was great with accommodating Covid practices.

Went there for happy hour with a group. The service was excellent and the food and drinks were good. They did a great job renovating the mill. You will find yourself wondering if you are heading in the right direction as the steep driveway narrows. But at the bottom you will find valet parking and a pretty courtyard next to the Jones Falls River. Look forward to going back on a warm day and sitting on the patio.

The service was wonderful, very accommodating, and patience of a saint with our large group. The fanciest part to me was that they gave you fresh silverware for each course lol I definitely plan on coming back again!

Hidden gem restaurant. Tucked away into a back corner of Woodberry, this restaurant is surprising is many ways. Driving in, you are transported to a charming European feeling place with delicious food and great service. The drinks are well made, the pastas are delicious and the service is timely. You dont feel like youre at Baltimore when youre at Cosima. Highly recommend the lobster squid ink pasta as well as the boar ragu - well balanced flavors, generous portions for the price, and perfectly cooked. Will be back next time to try the brick oven pizza, it looks delicious!

Great service and beautiful building. In house made pastas were wonderfully made and the whole bronzino was fantastic. Drinks were also made well. We made a reservation but it seems like theres a lot of seating available here. Its complimentary valet only because there isnt any street parking right there. Appetizers were wonderful! We got the anchovies, tuna crudo and small grilled octopus and it was all very tasty and well seasoned. The toasty grill flavor was just right! Our server was really nice and attentive.
