Laid-back eatery turning out south-of-the-border staples & Mexican beers in a humble setting.
Great food. Great staff. No bs
They were fast and friendly, the food was good and they didnt even rush us when it was close to closing. We stayed outside talking after we left and they didnt mind at all even tho we were still there after everyone left
One of my top favorite Mexican restaurants! Food is always delicious! Service is always excellent. Tonight, Aissa was awesome! Kept drinks full and took excellent care of us! Highly recommend! Will be back !
Good food. Good prices. Friendly staff.
The Sweetest waitress, unfortunately I cant remember her name, but she had the Sweetest Southern Hostility~
Decent prices, decent service. Lunch time is usually fast service. You get a traditional experience here to what youd expect, nothing more.
My husband and I love coming to Corona— its hit the spot every time. Every employee is very nice, everyone is helping each other, and the managers are extremely involved on the serving floor as well. On top of the food being delicious and the service being great.. the place is EXCEPTIONALLY clean! Lamps were dusted, floors were clean, bathrooms and all, you can tell the people who work there care about the place. Lastly, the prices are extremely reasonable and you get so much food and drink for your money! If you haven’t tried Corona out yet, you have got to give them a shot.
Solid Mexican spot. The queso, salsa and chips were some of the best Ive had. The food itself was perfectly cooked, just could use more seasoning on the meat.
Great authentic food at a great price
Good courteous service. Delicious food in a family type atmosphere.
Staff is very attentive, I love their steak tacos.
Always a great experience. Very friendly staff, always. Food is always great, and price is fair. I have gone to Coronas for over 30 years (used to be over in Pinewood areaand dont recall a single bad visit. So consistently, friendly service and good food.
Very friendly atmosphere. Food was delicious. All brought out on time. Servers Alex and Julian make sure we had everything we needed. You can tell they really care about their customers. Was a great experience. Definitely will be coming back. Their soup get as an appetizer so delicious. All of their food is so good. Great prices too.
Really good food and great service!
Gave them a 1 because I couldn’t give a 0. We had a rude waitress who didn’t bring anything we asked for and it wasn’t like she didn’t understand she just didn’t care, the food was flavorless and part way through eating, a roach decided to join us. Will never go back!
Not really a Mexican Restaurant. More like a Latino Restaurant. Ordered a Parrillada which is a fried steak with onions and A fried jalapeno. The steak was really sinewy. Not the best quality steak. Price did not match the steak I paid for.. And my wifes enchiladas were tortillas with nacho cheese and Chile sauce and raw onions. Being Mexican myself this was poor quality Mexican food.
Solid place to eat. The service was efficent and polite.
Always enjoy eating at this establishment. Super friendly service and its always fun on Saturday nights with karaoke
Cheap establishment. The small size of chips isnt enough for more than 1 person and refills are $2. Lunch meals are downsized, no napkins on table. Ive had better experiences at other locations nearby.
We ate here and a nail was in my 8 year old grandson food, he was crying! They just looked and said you want more food!!! Then they wanted his dad to pay for the food! I mean the nail was wrapped up in the burrito! Do not eat here!
They have fantastic food!! I enjoyed this place so much. They have great lunch specials, only 5.75 for the speedy Gonzales! The service was great and they also have karaoke on Saturday night!
Not impressed. Wrong good brought, cheese dip had big cold lump in it. Waitress she was not. Ive had alot better be going (other restaurant)there from now on
Good food. Good prices. Good service. Local favorite for sure. Ate there twice while in town and both occasions were pleasant. Had "Special Dinner" combo plate. Couldnt quite finish either time. Ill try again when Im back that way.
Food was good, but service w was slow. The waiter forgot to take our order. We had to get Togo box,bc we had to make it back to work. They were nice
The cheese dip was not melted all the way. The tortillas was so hard you couldn’t eat them. There was also a cockroach on the wall where we were sitting. We will never go back.
Im in town and have eaten here twice so far. Food was excellent, Food was served in a timely manner, service was great and tea glass stayed full.
We just had the worst experience here. My margarita was made wrong bc they didn’t know what a skinny marg was and then made it so sweet, the guacamole came wrong 1st and 2nd time, my food was wrong, then my husbands wrong. The server was very apologetic but had no training and didn’t know the menu. My husband even ordered his chicken tacos as “pollo” and he still got steak. One woman was very rude. Terrible experience. However, PAPAS AND BEER!! Excellent service and food!
Food was delicious. Odered food to go, but the side item portions seemed a little small which forced me to place another order for more. It was that good.
We came during lunch, passing through. We ordered tacos al pastor with corn tortillas, shrimp chimichanga, and beef enchiladas. The salsa was flavorful and has a little kick, which was nice. The pastor was delicious. Shrimp chimichanga was filled with delicious grilled onions, large pieces of shrimp, and yummy grilled mushrooms. The enchilada sauce was very flavorful and the spices where right on point. We were very happy with the service and the food. Pleasantly surprised and impressed!
Love this place 💜 excellent food this time I get caldo res they have a lot meet in there 🥰 the Tacos Amazing and the service Unique 🤩🤩
Owners and staff has always been like fam. Hospitable, caring, with an atmosphere that takes you to Mexico and amazing authentic food! I hope they continue and grow their business, nothing compares!
I have been coming here for years! The food is great! Prices are very reasonable and the staff is wonderful, friendly and helpful at all times. It exceeds my expectations everytime i go. I will continue coming here for many more years.
Ordered simple takeout dinner for my spouse and kitchen screwed it up. Order taker put it in correctly cause I watched him do it. Kitchen staff just didnt pay attention to order and I didnt check order because it was stapled shut. I wont make that mistake again!!!! Dinner cost was much higher than it should have been. I dont think I will be back.
Its open and bright, not a place you can tuck away in a corner for a romantic meal, but for what it is, it is good. The tables are clean, which is always a good start. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. People were nice. If you dont expect more than that, youll be happy.
Absolutely Horrible! Terrible service. Forgot an ENTIRE nacho supreme order. Forgot to give me two burritos in my burrito supreme order. Forgot a chalupa from one of the combos I ordered. The food was cold and tasted like the a wet paper towel. The chips taste like a wet rag and the smell of a wet dog. The salsa was so watery and had absolutely no flavor to it at all. The salsa tasted watered down. I wouldn’t eat this again even if i was starting and it was my only chance.
I ordered the taco, burrito, enchilada combo. Literally the entirety of it was ground beef with the exception of the wraps and the taco shell. I pretty much had ground beef for lunch. I give two stars because at least the waiters were very prompt.
First time customer and they impressed me. Mojarra was fantastic. I ask for something spicy to go with my meal and I was offered dried peppers and delicious salsa. Along with a selection of hot sauces. I loved it. Everything was great.
Stopped in for a quick lunch while traveling. Wanted something warm to knock off the chill of a rainy day and their chicken and rice soup was amazing. We also ordered a burrito, tacos, and enchiladas. All were yummy.
The food and drinks were good. It took forever to get refills and simple items for our order. Yes, we had a large party, but the server did not seem capable of handling it.
It was karaoke night...great food and a good time.
Went here last week, we loved it the first time a few months ago but this time it was just blah. Barely any flavor. Our waiter however was excellent. The owner/manager was not wearing a mask and kept coming over to our table to talk. Why make your staff wear one but you wont wear one?
It was the Saturday night and they had karaoke it was busy. unfortunately we ordered appetizers but the appetizers did not come first. the advertises arrived along with our meal which made no sense. This is my second time at this restaurant and unfortunately both times I have been less than satisfied for the overpriced meals. we spent almost $50 on two burritos a fish dish an appetizer and rice and beans and two sodas and thats without a tip because they didnt deserve one.
The food was good. The staff was slow. Even with less tables. Staff stood around talking. We had to get another waitress to get ours to get Tea refills an extra napkins for the kids. I believe in second chances. So will go again to see if my experience is better.
Food was pretty good. Place was surprisingly empty. The owner or manager was super nice and gave my daughter a lollipop as we were leaving. Only reason for a 4 star is because chicken and steak mix was not an option for the Fundido plate.
Paid $51 for to go food and I was extremely disappointed. I had the shrimp taco plate. Nine dollars and change. I received three white flour tortillas with 4 shrimp on each one. Nothing else. Everyones food was like that. After going back and forth on the phone with them about their unacceptable food for ten minutes they reluctantly agreed to pick it up from my work and refund me. I tried to show the pickup person my food and he snatched the bag saying he didnt care to see it and walked out. NEVER AGAIN!!
Horrible. I ordered texas fajitas, i got a dish of the cut off tops of tomatoes almost all with the center stem or only the center, the beef was all the scrap bits pieces mostly gristle, fat, an even cartaledg parts. The shrimp was way over cooked ive never had to put that much effort into biting shrimp. I skipped lunch hour an drove further out because i had great experiences before. However being served scraps, trash, an left overs has dune it for me. Ate as much as i could just to have something in my stomach not cus of flavor. If it was a shorter drive i would have just left.
The BEST... And continues to be one of my favorite restaurants. Always fast always good prices always good food....
Great pastor Al Borno at this place! Couldnt stop drinking the pineapple water.
Great food and since your using my photo and its got over 100k views would that be worth a free meal for me and my wife????
My first visit to Corona was very nice. My drink order was taken and served right away. My dinner meal was very well prepared and served promptly, despite that I arrived late in the evening. My meal was delicious and the staff were wonderful. Corona Mexican Restaurant is highly recommend.
