Rented the villa and it was well equipped, warm and comfortable
Quite nice motel .... Center is in walking distance but nothing too closeRooms are nice but kitchen is quite small
Very private, clean, quiet, beautiful decor. Enjoyed my stay.
Great one
What lovely place to stay it was clean and tidy Pam thank you for making us feel very welcoming
Just in town for one night for work. Quiet and comfortable. Best for work rather than a holiday or more than a night or two.
Easy access, quick communication. Pam made us feel super welcome immediately. Local taxi service is great. Room was really clean and had everything we needed. Nice and quiet and comfortable.
I booked through Booking.com for November dates, but cancelled in August when the borders closed. I was charged for the booking but after contacting them I received a refund from the U Hotel Group.
We enjoyed our stay, but found the kitchen facilities to be a bit difficult for actual cooking. There just isnt spare space to put down hot pans, which led to an overheated pan smoking because we couldnt move it elsewhere.
A 1950s style cabin when we expected a motel
Stayed last night. Really enjoyed our time there. Clean, warm and tidy. Had everything we wanted. Coralia was friendly and accommodating - thank you. Will stay again when next in town.
Clean and tidy units. A lovely setting. Bed a bit on the hard side for me.
Mutton dressed as lamb. Had guys staying here for a full week. Rooms were not serviced at all!. They rationed the tea, coffee & milk in the rooms to a couple ea. day. Tried to talk to the office people but were ignored. Will avoid them next time in town
Great place to visit; professional & clean. Self contained with required amenities. Highly recommend.
I found, not only the facilities clean, I found the place very comfortable. Coralia - manager was hospitable and very professional, highly approachable creating a safe, quiet, cruzy, happy invironment.I look forward to my next stay *
Clean tidy and warm rooms. Friendly staff.
Shared had a dog so both of us interviewed. Mine thinks he is a human. Studio lovely and larger area. Clean sunny private with extra touches. Want anything i just had to ask. Manager Tinika absolutely superb person. Dealt with many different personalities i observed while there. Always maintained professionalism personified. Highly recommended.
Terrible what I read about the mother and daughters stay there wouldnt recommend who would try charging the govt 1500 dollars for their 2 night stay what drongos
I was going to make a booking for a night but when I read the wairarapa times age 05/05/21 I just couldnt and would not stay there after I read about a mother and her daughters $1500 a week "short stay" ..
Neat and tidy but very old. Noisy throughout the night with cars in and out.
Disappointing! We were kept waiting in rain for a while after trying to contact someone on arrival (we had given notice around what time wed be arrivingWhen no answer from the buzzer, made a phone call. Took a while for someone to come to the office. Lukewarm reception, really. No sorry to keep you waiting or a warm hello or anything. Just a quick show around. Musty smell. Toilet in our supposed En suite was blocked and no soap. (they knew about blocked toilet before our arrival, so youd think there might have been an attempt to fix it, since thats partly what we were paying for!So, one communal toilet and one shower to share with several people. Wi Fi didnt work in our room and we didnt feel comfortable using the communal area when it was late. Clocks need fixing, the oven was out of order, ice dispenser not working, door handle fell off at a touch. Was very cold and the little panel wall heater was hopeless! Took so long to heat up, by which time I gave up and we went to bed, freezing!!! Thin walls, so my children could clearly hear the couple arguing next door when we were trying to sleep. And the playground?? Hardly!! It had the kind of old play equipment you might find in a back yard. The climbing frame was wobbly. Told kids not to play on it, as it wasnt safe. The pool was covered over. The office was not open at the time it said it would be, so the departure was just as lukewarm as the welcome. It was clean enough though, if anything positive to say.
Nice and Private. Good Pool and Laundry Facilities. Close to town. Friendly Management. Nice rooms.
Lovely people although everything is extremely old & very, very tired.Needs some serious upgrading but it was clean & comfy (except for the bed!)
Had a great stay there
Amazing, helpful staff! Great location also. The room itself was perfect for my family of 6! We stayed in the 2 bedroom family unit for 3 nights. Comfortable beds, kids loved the pool and the playground. Would definitely recommend, awesome accommodation in Masterton!
The kitchen and bathroom can only have one person at a time
Best Place to Enjoy ur Holiday with KidsKids Saftey nd Friendly Staff
The most rude and unhelpful Staff and Management you can find. Calls without any introduction and cancels booking made online without any leniency or discussion. I am appalled by the indecency and inhumane mannerisms of this accommodation.
Clean, friendly staff, and well off the road so it is lovely and quiet. They have just changed their name to U Studio. Awesome will stay again.
Very nice and friendly host. Room was clean and tidy. Bed was very nice although no cooking facility. The wall heater barely made the room warm but the electric blanket did the job. Hot Water ran out after ten mins of shower. Overall 3.5 for value of money however the views and the scenery is wow. Very nice and quiet and paddocks. Kids will like it. Can definitely recommend to visit again.
A lovely little affordable hotel. Great for staying at with children due to the pool, trampoline and ample grass space for them to run around on. There are trees that you can sit under to watch your children play and the layout of the rooms means you would be able to see them mostly anyway. There is plenty of outdoor seating which is nice and comfortable to relax on. At the back there are some friendly goats that you can feed. This is also a place you can bring your dog along to as well which is very appreciated.
Really friendly host, great units, defiantly would stay again if Im in the area
Excellent hospitality
Absolutely beautiful place, with a very homely vibe. Stayed here for 2 nights and didn’t want to leave! We will definitely be staying here again in the future. The owner was so kind and welcoming, overall a totally amazing visit. Highly highly recommend. ☺️
The beds were a bit soft.
Pretty good and so cool and amazing
Room was tiny. Went to shower in the morning and there was no hot water. Booked this motel expecting to be able to swim in the pool and the pool was empty. If we were told this before booking we wouldnt have wasted our time. I also booked a room that sleeps three people only to be told on arrival that the room we had booked was unavailable so they put a blow up lilo on the floor for my 12 yr old. This was a very bad experience. Very unorganised and would not recommend to anyone.
Very comfortable units. Even has a dishwasher. Lovely countryside feel with new lambs frollicking in the paddock out the kitchen window.
Clean and tidy, comfy beds, every thing you need...exactly what you expect... nothing more, nothing less.
Standard. Bit pricy for what you got. BBQ was dirty and pool wasnt open
Quietly situated with good amenities
Good service and well kept rooms with good facilities, including a pool, trampoline and bbq socialising area
Went for a course. Lovey little room
Quiet and comfortable. Helpful staff. Good value.
Lovely peaceful spot nice clean
Clean comfortable friendly, well maintained.
Our hostess Pauline was very welcoming, friendly and chatty. We were immediately struck with how well appointed and clean the unit was. Chocolates on the table was a nice touch for our Christmas eve book in. The beds were great and the location is very, very quiet, which meant we had a great nights sleep. All you want from a motel is here at Cornwall Park Motel. I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone wishing stay in Masterton.
Nice setting with a lovely garden obviously the owner has a lot of pride in how she keeps it the accommodation clean ( apart from a couple of dead spiders & comfortable . Had a good nights sleep very restful and quiet . No hesitation in recommending this Motel.
We loved staying at the Cornwall Park in Masterton, and stayed an extra night, it was very clean comfortable and quiet, our Grandchildren would have loved the pool and play area all set in lovely gardens, the owner was exceptional so very helpful we were made to feel very welcome. Jan and Roy.
Quiet and comfortable.
