This chic wine bar in a vintage building offers eclectic American & European small plates & entrees.
Upscale vibe! Well be back for dinner! Great owner
Food was disappointing I wouldnt consider going back prices are crazy for the quality of food... The 501 is much better
The food was 👎 service was ok. Too overpriced for the quality of food and the service they provide. If I can give negative stars I would. Dont waste your money and time.
Smoked Fish paté not worth 15. Fried olives not worth 9 dollars. Sent the lobster Mac(salty lovercooked lobster, bland cheese sauceback and still was charged
Vandalizes customers cars for parking on the street. Do not recommend.
They vandalize customer cars, and insult patrons. Big nope for me now.
We had a lovely lunch experience with family. The food was great and the space was beautifully decorated. We had a stroller with us so it made the experience a little cramped (not the restaurants fault though). This seems like a great date night spot especially if you enjoy wine.
This was such a hidden gem! Visiting from Seattle and we had the absolute best time. Part of that was from the food/drinks, but the main event was TINA. She was prompt, honest, and an absolute hoot! Sounds like shes behind some of the cocktail recipes on the menu and they did not disappoint! We had the deep-fried olives (MUST), lamb tacos (special, so so yum), smoked fish plate, and lots of cocktails. You wont go wrong with anything here. Thank you for the hospitality!
Great food. Appetizers were excellent. Can get a bit noisy when they get busier.
Food was mixed with shell fish horrible smell from my salmon dinner returned the entire plate SMELLED LIKE BAD SCAPPI SHRIMPJust to get the bread salad that wasnt all that bunch of mixed Greens more than ingredients.NICE PEOPLE THOUGH 💥 I WILL NOT RETURN TO VISIT AGAIN
Like the new retro look, the sound doesnt bounce like it used to. The food was great, we had a lot of different items on the menu from the spring pea soup to the lamb. Everything was delicious.
Great cocktails and amazing bar tender! Scratch made desserts. Super reliable - a great experience every time!
Cool building. Good service. Sunday “brunch” was not what I would think of as brunch. Small portions, no sides, fruit, or croissants of any kind. Eggs Benedict was very standard with little flavor. Bottomless mimosas where pretty much all OJ. 70-ish dollar brunch for 2 was not what we were expecting. If you’re really into food, this probably is not your spot. It’s a trendy place but didn’t meet our expectations.
Loved the layout and service... drink was incrediled with smoked bacon in it whats better than that.
This place is so good, I had an amazing time there today. Bri is an excellent server and Karime is one hell of a bartender. They’re warm, welcoming and deliver an amazing experience. The food is great, drinks were great, I will definitely be back soon.
Another delicious brunch with Kari behind the bar nailing it!!! The food was delicious as always and we look forward to next month!!
Love this place. And Darci is just the best. If your not all that into wines they make some of the best cocktails.
What a gem!! Beautiful restaurant, excellent food & service. Live music Wednesday evenings. Our bartender/server was amazing. Very knowledgeable & friendly. Will definitely be back!
The waitress was not knowledgeable about the menu and the wines. The owner and the floor manager was condescending and insensitive to my girlfriends allergic reaction. We were treated different because we were black.
Had the best experience last night at The Cork. Our meal was delicious along with our wine. The server was very attentive and helpful. Thank you for making our night out delightful.
Beautiful interior. Just opened after a remodel. More seating. Upscale casual atmosphere. Amazing food, desserts to die for and five-star service. Love it every time I go!
I went here for dinner on Saturday 1/8 to celebrate a friends’ wedding The restaurant is beautiful, however the experience was not. In the midst of the Omicron variant Covid-19 surge, not a single server was wearing a face mask, not even the bartender. After ordering seltzer, I was brought a bottle of flat water and then when I asked to send it back, our waitress refused with considerable attitude since it was already opened. My salmon was over salted and over cooked. It was ordered with extra salad which did not exist. Then, In the midst of our meal, the entire restaurant was ordered by another waitress to sing happy birthday to one of the waitresses as a cake was brought out to her. It was disruptive and unprofessional. I was shocked by their brazen attitude. If someone needs to work on their birthday, i know it’s tough but it’s much more classy and appropriate if they would celebrate after work with their close friends and co workers. I did not really feel safe or even like a guest in this place. Go somewhere else.
Hands down we will be back! The Cuban Fried Pickles are amazing! The Shrimp & grits, worth every penny. My husband said its the best bloody mary hes ever had. Karime was our bartender/server and she was both knowledgeable and attentive. We would drive out of our way to come back but since its here in Flint we dont have to.
Great time, food was delish and arrived quickly. Bartenders were warm n friendly and on point. Great company 👌.
WOW-Moment! Brie was the best server ever! She went above and beyond. And Marge the owner and chef came to chat with us and was very engaging. We had French Onion Soup which was one of the top three we’ve ever had. Also got some delicious Cuban fried pickles. For entrees we ordered Swordfish, Shrimp and Grits, Butternut Squash Lasagna and the Chicken. All of them were phenomenal! For dessert we got an unbelievably delicious Italian Lemon Cake.We were completely impressed and will definitely be back when in Flint again.
Server was great, service was horrendous. Waiting over 30 min for our entrees of salads and grilled fish. Asked for the bill and walked out without dinner.
Great meal, my date had the BBQ rubbed salmon, and I had the shrimp and grits, both meals were packed with flavor and delicious. The atmosphere was fantastic. The restaurant was packed and the wait staff was short, but the service was still excellent. I would highly recommend giving The Cork on Saginaw a try. They also have a great wine and beer selection.
Hands down among the best food you will find in Genesee County. Excellent quality, made from scratch, always full of flavor. If you’re looking fish or seafood, this is the best you’ll find in the area. There is always at least one fish special. Drinks are great, atmosphere is perfect indoor or out. Perfect for a casual dinner, date night, or business meeting. Must try.
So so so good! My fiancé and I agree, this was our best culinary experience in Michigan (and we’ve been around the block!Everything was clearly thought through—from the wine list to the cheese board. Beyond the food/wine, the atmosphere is lovely! It was bustling and there were clearly regular customers that revealed how well-loved this place is. I had the fish of the day (salmon with ratatouilleand my fiancé had the lamb chops. Both were prepared perfectly. Dessert was amazing as well, although I didn’t catch the name. Couldn’t recommend Cork more. Have fun!
Cork is at the top of my list!...Cuban pickles...Tuscan bread salad...Mushroom lasagna...Salted caramel ice creamIve never had a meal I didnt like. The cocktails are delicious and the service is top notch.
The service, food, atmosphere all was wonderful. Never had a glass empty for more than a couple minutes without a would you like a refill. Highly recommend.
Food was delicious! Wait staff was so friendly & wine recommendation was spot on. Really enjoyed the entertainment & cant wait to go back!
Great food and outdoor seating, live music depending on the day and time.
Friendly staff. Good environment and good prices. I did wish they had soda and not all booze. However the variety of alcoholic and Virgin drinks is pretty good.Deserts are fantastic!!!!
Unique place with a great wine selection.I first tried Sweet Potato Fries here, and they are so great at this resturant!Well designed, whitefish is amazing, black bean Burger is just okay. The parmesan chicken & pasta was good not great.Classy design. Hospitality is wonderful, however no one came to take our order after waiting awhile (with our waterwe asked to be served. Great atmosphere, happy to come back again.
We always love everything about The Cork!! Our server, Bree, was wonderful, the food and drinks were great and Maria Roses performance was everything we expected and more!! Our group had a great time!!
Excellent food, as always on a tight budget when going out to eat, this left us getting creative. The coffee was surprisingly French press at only $2 per pot!The black bean dip with white tortilla chips was excellent, mom had the butternut squash soup a little kick in it but not too had for her bland taste buds, I got the garden salad, and we split the lobster grilled cheese, absolutely phenomenal!
The area was small but tastefully decorated. The chandelier, vaulted ceilings, crown moldings and wall of wine(shelped to create a relaxing atmosphere in which to enjoy the meal. The food was superb; so outstanding. The staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing. All of this came together to make it an awesome experience. I cant wait to go back and explore their menu! (Reservations are definitely recommended)
The food was delicious! Had the baked goat cheese for appetizer and it does not disappoint. The eggplant dish was also delectable though I added a little salt for my own preference. The Carne tacos were good too. Nice outdoor seating area and awesome drink list. I wouldve given 5 stars but the service was slow and the place wasnt as busy to explain that.
This is certainly a NOT to miss restaurant. Had the pork chop which was the absolutely the most tender and delicious pork chop I think I ever had. Per the waitress recommendation I had the croissant bread pudding. One of THE best dessert ever! I would drive miles for this dessert.
Great wine selection and amazing food. Definitely indulge a bit and try the Cuban fried pickles if they have them on the menu!
Every visit to this place has been a great experience for me. Love the selection of wines and the vegetable lasagna I had tonight was top notch! Our server was prompt, friendly, and accurate. This was a great evening spent with friends in an enjoyable atmosphere.
This is a unique Wine Bar in downtown Flint. The food is five star and is very high-end. If youre looking for a great place to eat that is probably one of the best of Genesee County this could be for you. Its a little pricey but you get what you pay for. Their margarita is very unique and definitely worth a try.
Not exceptional service. Barely anyone in the place, but yet took an exceptional amount of time to get our drinks. I understand theyre trying to bring a higher standard back to the area, but it just didnt hit the mark for me. Need to have a little more pep in the step, and more attentive. Taste of drinks and food not anything to complain about, just the lack of urgency of the staff.
I have eaten here about twenty times and never been disappointed. An excellent menu, quality beverages, and solid service deliver a lovely experience. All of this at quite moderate prices. Highly recommended!
Wonderfully authentic Mediterranean food, I had the sampler, a carbonara and bread and cheese. Very high standard of food preparation, service and drinks pairings, great job. Revisited one week later, sat at a dirty table then waited 20 minutes for first drinks, we walked out after our complaints were ignored. I really hope weak servers dont ruin this fine restaurant.
Traveled for work to Flint MI, this place close to our hotel. It is a open sitting, great atmosphere micro brewery/ restaurant. Ate late so only tried salads and soups both very good. Best of all was the large selection on beers they brewed on site, little pricey.
This establishment can be fairly pricey, but for the price you get your moneys worth. I ordered French champagne for my wedding and it was delivered promptly upon arriving in the states (as it was importedand they made sure we were satisfied with the purchase. Great variety of wines and otherwise.
“Great burgers!”We always try different burgers when we go here, never have gotten a burger we didnt like. I like choosing from their choices, but you can build your own also. I had the Fire Burger and it was great. If you like Chalula sauce and jalapenos, go for it. It was spicy but not too hot for me. One order...
I found this place from a Google search as I like new hole in the wall places. This place was awesome. The server was great, and very attentive. I ordered the Tuscan Salad with Chicken. It came with a load of chicken, and it was not dry. I actually was full from eating the salad. Good wine and I hope you guys are here for a long time. I want to try the lamb next.
