What a lovely experience to stay there food top class easy access to Airport
This is the best hotel in Cork, and it happens to be in the airport. Great staff, good food, super rooms, and whacky toilets! See photo.
A hidden gem!Booked the international for a shopping day in the city for daughters birthday. There was four of two adults and two older children. We stayed in a very large family room which was lovely, had a really nice dinner and they even sang happy birthday to her accompanied by the fabulous gentleman who was playing the panio . Afterwards we had the use of the private cinema which was amazing! The hotel is beautiful and the staff are outstanding as I said a hidden gem in cork city. We will be back. The hotel is
My favourite hotel in cork, fantastic for solo, couple or family, beautiful comphy rooms, gorgeous bar and restaurant with excellent food on the menu, room service if you didnt fancy going out, childres play area, cinema, hairdressers with beauty room may need to book these in advance of your visit, perfect location if your flying out of cork airport with onsite parking at an extra cost if you want to leave the car there while you travel a shuttle bus will bring you to the airport and collect you on return, and equally perfect location for a night out in cork or just a night away, beautiful deco through out, excellent staff with exceptional customer service , this hotel deserves all 5 stars 🌟
Beautiful hotel. Everything was perfect. Would love to return as we enjoyed it so much
Super nights sleep, staff are friendly and courtesy bus driver Tim was a breath of fresh Cork air. I would have given 5 stars but as I was unable to access the website and needed a bed, I ended up spending an extra €35 by using Agoda. If at all possible, call the hotel directly for your room reservation. The manager saw that my room invoice was €125 but that I had actually paid €160 and she was unable to do anything, even to include a breakfast coffee. The rest of the stay was great.
What a breath of fresh air, an airport hotel that does not suck with good service and food. Plus rooms that are not awful. Helpful staff and really good kids facilities
Perfect business hotel location and architecture. Just a 10 min walk or 2 min by a shuttle. Hotel runs a shuttle every 30 min to the airport. If you have office location within cork airport business center then its a perfect location for stay. Only the room service can improve. They forgot my dinner order for almost an hour.
Food was absolutely amazing 👏 cant wait to go back. So many nice things on the menu so hard to pick just one
Great location for the business park and easy walk to airport. If you want to experience Cork, stay downtown (rec River Leeor take a car
Top class with a special mention to Avon the bar Manager what a delightful guy, also special mention to Rachel in reception. Had an awesome stay the staff where very friendly and helpful well done guys!
Just went for dinner in the new yorker before our flightFood was absolutely delicious plenty of food even got extra veg and mash very reasonable priced and staff so friendly
Lovely Hotel. Staff very helpful. Delicious food. Great Location. Great nights sleep, shuttle to and from Airport.
The service here is amazing! Especially from staff member Paul who freed me from the bathroom when I got locked in. He made it comical and a laugh even though I had been locked inside for a while 🤣🤣🤣All joking aside I wont forget my stay here, and for Pauls help in getting me out of that bathroom.Thankyou
Stayed twice in July before morning flights and will absolutely stay again. The first time was in a standard room. Check in was incredibly friendly thanks to Sarah, and I had a spacious room with 2 beds, tea and coffee making facilities, bath and lots of workspace if youre on business. They sent out a survey after the stay and I mentioned some details that could be improved, and was really surprised to get an email from Edel, the front office manager, who took the comments seriously and vowed to improve! The second visit I was upgraded to an executive room which was huge! Again, few niggles...but very very enjoyable and wished I was staying longer. Separate shower room and bathroom, Nespresso machine, robes and slippers were bonuses of the room and also appreciated getting mugs as well as cups.Standard in the rooms were Paul Costelloe toiletries, hairdryer and good WiFi.Love the little gym which was open 24hrs and spotless. Good to get some movement in before a flight. My nephew also enjoyed the playroom when they dropped me off.Location is excellent - less than 5 minutes walk across the car park to departures, or can also choose to use the shuttle bus. Parking seemed ample, split between short stay and long stay.Appreciated the touch of coffee and pastries in the lobby for breakfast. An unusual sight in Ireland and definitely made it feel like a hotel that cares.Standout feature however is the staff who were without exception, absolutely fantastic. Genuinely warm and helpful! The happiness started with Sarah, and continued until I said goodbye to the lovely guy who was on the desk both mornings when I was departing and was efficient and polite but also chatty and friendly. A great person to meet even before 6 am!S
Landed back @ cork late Sunday eve. Had a great sleep at this hotel. The rooms are great and its a really nice looking hotel. Thanks for having me!!
Just back from a wonderful weekend here. Rooms were spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean, the shower had great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Our room, 207, had air con which was badly needed during our stay. It was a very quiet room and were not disturbed by noise from the bar or the airport at all.The service received throughout our stay was perfect, all staff were engaging, friendly and efficient. The breakfast offered plenty of choice - I highly recommend the made to order omelette. The hotel was close to town and a perfect location as a base to explore the city and surrounding areas or attend a concert in Pairc ui Chaoimh.
Had a lovely stay here last night with my daughters ,lovely clean hotel Gorgeous breakfast .Special mention to Chloe who checked us in yesterday and was very helpful.
I stayed in the beautiful Cork International Hotel for Westlife 13.8.22. Greeted by lovely Laura on reception. Great atmosphere, ambience and decor. We came back to the hotel bar after the concert. Friendly, smiling, fantastic service and excellent customer service from Ewan and Michael. Michael made us the perfect cocktails. He knows how to make good ones. Well definitely be back. I highly recommend. Thank you all.
Always love getting back here when visiting Cork. Its a little out of the way but worth it as you can see the planes take off and land. Kids enjoy that. Staff are always more than willing to help and accommodate any requests and always are very friendly. This is a hotel you can relax in and rely on the staff to make sure you have a pleasant time as possible. Cinema room, toy area and a child friendly environment throughout the whole hotel. Its a very well run hotel and it isnt as expensive as its close competitors.
Arrived to airport hotel apprehensive to start with as the price was pretty high as no breakfast was included , ladies at reception couldnt fault them at all polite and very nice wsp to my 8 Yr old , actually all the staff are a credit to cork international hotel but .. the rooms , are a lot to be desired , carpets marked badly , bathrooms were extremely basic , no plug to give my child a bath plug in sink didnt work no bath math for shower I had to use bath towel folded so my daughter could stand without slipping , the window sills were an absolute disgrace paint coming off not in small amounts but actually stuck to my childs hands . Now in saying this room was equipped with all your needs but Im almost certain that was only to take away from the fact that the "oh this room is lovely " scenario was forgotten about , for 230€ I was certainly expecting a little more wow factor but to be honest maggies hostel in the city offered a cleaner option. Very disappointing , would not recommend at the moment
Definitely the best hotel Ive ever stayed in. The room was unbelievable. The staff at the desk were extremely polite and excellent at there job. Very welcoming and showed a proper level of care towards me and my partner. The staff in d bar/resteraunt were exactly the same. The Guinness was lovely the food was lovely and the service overall was amazing. Weather it be the food the staff the room the Guinness or the transfer to the airport, all aspects get 10 out of 10 for me. I couldnt praise the staff and their service highly enough. If somebody was to train in how to do there job in a professional and dedicated manner this is where they should be sent to learn. Best hotel experience Ive ever had and Ive been in at least 15 countries in Europe.
Visited this hotel as part of a family christening and was pleasantly surprised. We pass the hotel all the time when coming into cork. The restaurant, bar and reception area are very smart, clean and tidy. Staff are very attentive and helpful. The meal we had did take a while to arrive, but when it did it was lovely. Prices reasonable also. Will definitely look into staying at the hotel in the future. Many thanks to all.
We held a family BBQ of 30 people. It was in yhe Pacific room. They staff were excellent helpful and cheerful. Even though we couldnt use outside due to rain it didnt matter with all the natural light flowing in from the wall of windows we felt like we were outside. I cannot praise the food highly enough. 1 word delicious. Sausages chicken breasts in a lovely marinade burgers. We also enjoyed the sides of lyonaise potatoes and 4 salads all as mouth watering as the nest. Sophie in the event office was helpful and was quick to return calls and emails. I highly recommend cork International hotel .
Blown away by this hotel. The staff are top drawer. The family rooms are huge. There are lots of in house activities to keep the kids busy if your waiting for food or to head out. Its a close drive to the city, Kinsake abd Foto Wildlife Park amongst other places. There is also a bus service to the city. Highly recommend.
You know what, fair play. We arrived about 8 hrs before we needed to leave for a flight the following day and this was exactly what we needed. Close enough to the hotel that it wasnt a total chore to get our bags there but far enough away that the planes didnt wake us. Check in was uneventful and the staff were present and helpful. The rooms were great, and when they saw we had our daughter with us they changed our room to a family room no hassle. Would recommend
Great service and staff were so friendly and helpful. Well located for visiting city and areas such as Kinsale. Room decor is somewhat dated, was not cleaned during my stay and silly things like sink stopper was broken. Room was spotless on arrival. Breakfast was great and had dinner one evening in the New Yorker and food was good, staff were really friendly, helpful and efficient. It was a busy spot, always a good sign in my book!!
What can I say? The service from Nicholas and Tim was fabulous. I felt like I was staying in a luxury hotel with white glove service. These gentlemen are wonderful. We arrived in very late after numerous delays and we were meet at the airport by Tim-an amazing person who greeted us with a smile and was so helpful. Nicholas had our room key and paperwork ready for us to sign and was even so kind to make a toasted sandwich. Our room was awesome as well. I can say nothing negative about the hotel or staff. Close to airport with free shuttle service.
Excellent hotel. Located next to the airport, but was quite. Didnt hear any aircraft noise.
Good location & shuttle bus a bonus & local bus stop nearby . Late flight so did not use the bar. Very good size room, comfortable bed & good choice at breakfast. I stayed only one night so did not have dinner.
Just want to say we had a fantastic Afternoon Tea at the hotel for a Birthday celebration with family and friends. The food and the service was outstanding. Thank you so much.
The staff is very nice. The food is good. Prices are very high. The place is fancy, and its actually possible to have a conversation (even when there are big, distracting screens - when are restaurants going to learn that people can watch TV at home, and that eating is a social act?).Be prepared to wait 20 minutes for your dish.
Rooms being cleaned/serviced at 5.30pm! When you have been out and about all day, and come back to have a bath before dinner only to find out your room has not been serviced, but you run the bath and then the chambermaid appears, not exactly what you expect or want. This happened not once but twice in 3 days, 2 more days to go hopefully they will up their game.
Ideally located and fantastic architecture. Super spacious room, top quality service and modern amenities makes it perfect for business and leisure trips.Special shout out to Eoghan Murphy, he went the extra mile after a minor initial hiccup which made our stay extra special. For a General Manager of a hotel to reach out immediately after hearing out my concern shows real commitment to keep up their high standards.Highly recommend Cork International Hotel for all travellers to Cork and specially to Business travellers to Cork Airport Business Park.
Terrible service and no customer intended experience at all, especially by calling at it. We arrived from London, after confirming availability in the hotel for rooms. The lady said we didn’t even have to make a reservation since she could book us in right away. We arrived and the supposed manager said that they were fully booked and that they were not going to accept us. Terrible experience. Avoid even if close to the hotel.
Lovely hotel. Reception/lobby area is fabulous. The lobby toilets are absolutely to die for great modern interior. The room was quite spacious with great water pressure in the shower. Staff couldn’t have been nicer, we had one small issue during our stay and it was dealt with quickly and professionally. Really nice place to stay. Only knocking a star due to location, we chose not to bring the car down with us and we did regret it. Location wasn’t great for guests on feet although there is a bus route going just outside the hotel, we found it just a little difficult getting around into the city etc but again staff were great at telling us what bus to get and where to get it.
Was here for my granddaughters communion...it was a farce... service was chronic.. we waited an hour after ordering g for our starters and then another hour for mains... they forgot half the drinks order which we pointed out and we never got them in the end.. teas and coffees came out and we waited 10 mins for milk and sugar so our beverages were cold.. also when our main courses arrived 5 of us at the end of the table got no vegetables so we ate our dinner without.. not impressed at all.. and we werent the only ones to complain. Another example of greedy owners overbooking to make a quick buck.. sooooo disappointed... even if they brought out the childrens food to keep them happy would have been so.ething...most definitely will not be returning.
Definitely a hotel worth the visit. Really nice food, rooms are spacious and comfy, like small mirrors showing the back. Check out the toilets, really funky.
Went for New Yorker Restaurant for dinner, very nice food, good selection + attentive staff. Lovely booth seating and only disappointment was as I was driving had low selection of non alcoholic beers etc. Lovely Hotel too!
What an experience from the friendly check-in to the fabulous room totally worth the 5 star rating in all categories. The hotel is immaculate and very welcoming, and the breakfast is a feast for adults and kids. Ps try the automatic pancake maker a treat for everyone...
A group of us friends were here on Friday 6th of May for an event .. The staff could not have been nicer.. Ive to give a special mention to Dan one of the Bar men.. he was so helpful, friendly and efficient. Dan you know who you are I hope .( long hair neatly tied up in case there are more Dans ! )Very helpful Lady Manager on as well. We didnt get her name. Would highly recommend this hotel. THANK YOU
Great Place. Every nice. Check in was a little slow and the use of paper forms to fill in and sign was unnecessary in this day and age, but a great hotel. Great localion
Had the most lovely stay after a not so lovely day. The staff were kind, caring, and so helpful. The New Yorker food was 4/5 stars, very enjoyable with a minor miss on the vegetables. Breakfast was so good, delicious food, wonderful layout. My favourite part was that adorable pancake machine! The room was clean, and the bed was comfy. Showers were so nice considering after many hotels the height is often not enough for a taller person but this one was so good. I 100% recommend staying here even just for a night!
Have to say Im highly impressed by the hotel. The rooms are very nice and reasonably priced. Lobby has a great bar with some very tasty cocktails. Morning breakfast was lovely, and the staff are very accommodating. Will definitely be back again if ever staying in cork. Its a little out of the city but if you drive its not a problem and theres a bus the picks up right outside the hotel.
Im only giving this hotel a 2* because of the lovely waiter Aine who gave us loads of recommendations on restaurants and places to visit during our short stay but otherwise this hotel is absolutely run down its sad.Our room was nothing to write home about the bathroom was nasty...toilet rim was brown and the shower curtains need a replacement like after hotels were shut down for along as they were, I really dont understand why they couldnt do some renovations. The restaurant was nothing special either...
Housekeeping seems to be hit and miss. The previous guests rubbish was still in the bins. Missed my room the first two mornings. Meaning that rubbish was now there for god knows how long. On the 3rd and final day they attended but left no towels. Only noticed when I got out of the shower. Had to use a pillow case and hand towel. The rear of the hotel looks like it is closed. Unsafe decking. A rusty chain blocked one side. Limited lighting. For the price of the rooms youd expect breakfast to be included (€150 per nightbut if you prebooked the day before you got €5 off. Not really 4☆ service. Bed is comfortable.
Based within 5-10 min walk of the airport. It is ideal if you are flying from Cork Airport or working in the business park. However it is an airport hotel so is not near the actual city of Cork. Facilities were all open. And food at the New Yorker restaurant was good. Breakfast had a great buffet selection.
After a stressful day( family funeralissue checking in both receptionists and manageress very kind and accommodating. Lovely room.Went to the bar, had couple of drinks then ordered our food.Starters were very well presented and starters amazing! 1 of the best spring rolls I have tasted.Wonderful beef burger and fries and steak and fries cooked to perfection. All hotel staff very friendly and welcoming keep up the good work!!❤
Love this hotel. So far the most family friendly hotel Ive ever been to. All the staff are so friendly and the food is amazing! You can book your family in for your very own Cinema room and you can see the airplanes taking off from your room... Most importantly, everywhere is spotless clean! Its THAT one hotel always makes me feel home and sleep like a baby !
