Spotting a tiger is a rarity, but the entire hype is built around tigers. May be of interest for bird watchers and lovers of wildlife in general, since you end up seeing deer and sometimes elephants etc. However, must plan a trip here at the correct time of the year and well in advance.
Save animals and plants or tree🌲🌲🌲🎄🎄
Visited with my adult son for 4 days/5 nights, staying just outside the Reserve. The first day, we went on elephants in search of tigers. Fun, but seemingly useless way to find tigers as elephants make lots of noise and tigers hide very well. Next 3 days, we rented a 4 wheel drive vehicle with a driver/guide and security guy with a rifle. Fascinating! The Reserve is very large and the guide drives from valley to valley, through all sorts of environments, where we saw plenty of wildlife. He tracks tigers by listening to the sounds of the wildlife; monkeys and birds especially have distinctive calls to warn each other if a tiger is nearby. So by listening to and understanding their chatter, one searches for the mighty predator. Out last afternoon, we used this method to find a male and a female tiger calling to one another across a small valley. We followed the “song” of the male and were very lucky to find him resting under a tree singing to his lady-love. Fantastic experience!

Lovely place to feel the real nature. Main attraction here is the national animal of India, the Tiger.Tiger tracking is an interesting task as it involves lot of suspense, patience, talent and luck.Currently many sightings are there is Dhikala zone due to active cubs in winter of 2020.
Picturesque Park, the safari is well planned and adequate time is given inside the premises. Its an open jungle so its really your lick if you see a tiger or not other than that you will definitely see elephants, deers and wild pigs.

A great entertaining site or to cherish the marvels of age-old architecture & historical monuments, museums, and buildings, Corbett is your go-to destination. Plenty of beautiful places in Corbett where you can spend the best of your vacation time relaxing in the proximity of nature.
Corbett Tiger Reserve is an amazing national park.Pros - You get to see tigers, elephants and other amazing animals.Cons - there are no self-drive options. The pros outweigh the Cons for sure. The guides always get you where you want to be and to give you the best chance of seeing wildlife. A thing to keep in mind is that this isnt a zoo so wildlife isnt guaranteed. My advice is to fall in love with birds and the big cats are a real bonus. If you do want to see a big cat patience is key. You will likely need to book multiple safaris. Since, need to be out of the park at certain hours dont be late getting up.Also, you are outside. Bring additional water and sunscreen.
Did only one safari. Was not able to spot many animals. Park is very huge. Must visit for animal lovers. We spotted elephants mud bathing.
Beautiful place...one of the best places in india for watching tiger, elephant & wildlife..must go there & explore the wildlife
Top class National Park cum Tiger Reserve, famous world wide. Large number of animals are there. Entry is restricted . Very few visitors are allowed to visit the park on daily basis in the hired permitted Jeeps approved by the Forest Department of government of Forest Rest Houses within the park which are managed by the Forest Department itself can be booked in advance online.
Dhikala zone is best in Corbett national park.
This is Indias oldest Tiger reserve...if u are coming from delhi u need two days and one night to come here....must visit if u live in delhi and NCR...per head expenses is around 3000 if this is 2 days trip here...
First National Park of India. It has very little area open for tourists but you can spot many rare animals there. Usually they allow 30 gypsies in the morning time and 30 gypsies in the evening time. You have to book it in advance.Morning time is usually considered good for animal spotting. They all go to the different ways inside the forest. At the time we went one of the gypsies spotted a tiger🐅. We were not lucky.

One of the Tiger reserve park in India. It was my dream to visit this park but it’s impossible to visit everywhere in this park in one day. It has lots of varieties for families, couples, friends or if you are going with a school or friends tour. Specially elephant ride. Love it.
The jungle is very good but if you want to see the animals , Sorry. I went to this place in the month of may. My safari timings were 6 AM to 9AM. I didnt see any kind of animals except birds. No doubt the jungle is very good. And when it comes to The Great Tigers that live here , its extremely rare to see them. My friend has been to this place 20 times in the past 5 years and has never spotted a tiger. So I give 3 stars to the jungle because I didnt spot animals except of course birds.
Very well location for enjoying wildlife and learn about that
One of the best places to watch wildlife in North India. The place is famous for 🐅 but also harbours other animals such as 🦌, elephants, crocodiles and panther. Best period to go is between October and March. Good for families. Try the morning period for the Safari. Respect the wildlife and nature. Avoid littering!
Jim Corbett National Park is one of the famous wildlife reserves in India and also one of the best wildlife reserves of Asia, covering more than 520 sq km region in the Himalayan foothills as Corbett Tiger Reserve India. Established in the year 1936 as Hailey National Park, Corbett has the glory of being Indias oldest and most prestigious National Park. It is also being honored as the place where Project Tiger was first launched in 1973. If you love bird watching then Corbett is virtual haven for such tourists. Corbett and its adjoining area is a home to more than 650 species of residents and migratory birds.
We had several safaris entering through differenet gates and each time we had different animals, birds, flora, and scenery. We went very early in the mornings arriving at dawn. We had been told to wear layers of clothing as it would be very cold to begin and then hot by midday and it was.Our evening safaris also began in the warmth and ended in the cool of the evening at dusk. We just cannot describe all the experiences we had, the deer on the riverbed, the hillside jungle, the various monkeys, the wild elephant herd on the plan, the jungle cat on the road. The beautiful birds, eagles and flowers galore. Our guides described what we were seeing, the habitat and breeding of different animals, we were fortunate to see a tiger after its kill. We saw paw marks claw marks droppings and smelt it and heard it, Loved it. Some jeeps could missed, with being mended as foot steps broken and some guides self opinionated. We were always in a jeep solely for us three so we could ask questions and hear replies.Really enjoyed the time.
We visited it in May 19. While the security and gating process is good, I couldn’t find this place very favourable for animal sighting. The Jingra range was very ordinary and absolutely nothing like Kabini, Satpuda or Kaziranga. It was very dry and empty. Saw few birds, deer and elephants.
Can not be explained in words its the feel that gives you the experience of lifetime
An amazing experience of safari in jungle. Nice people and good service.Seeing exotic animals as tigers, is about chance but you will definitely see many deers, alligators, birds etc.Take binoculars with you, wear comfortable footwear as sneakers, better to take less pictures and explore more, respect the jungle.
A wildlife sanctuary rich in flora and fauna, along the beautiful Ramganga river.

One of the most famous Tiger protected Reserves of India. A jeep safari option is available that allows you to roam in the huge Jungle region. The best thing is its all about your luck ehat you are going to see next and what god has chosen for you, there is such a huge diversity of flora and fauna that one gets filled with jubilance and satisfaction. I myself have visited the place twice and still wish to go there again and take a deep breath in Indias most incredible place.
Who wont love visiting corbett more than once. 😍.
Oldest Tiger reserve in the country! Lush green forest with rivers flowing from Ramganga reservoir. Kalagarh dam is nearby. We stayed at the Dhikala forest resthouse which is an hours drive inside the Corbett park. The roads are winding, dusty & not maintained. The resthouse is very well located and well maintained. You are in the middle of the jungle and.you can hear the tigers growl during the night around the camp! Wonderful experience! You can take the jeep safari in the early morning or hire a guide if you have your own vehicle.Unfortunately did not spot a tiger. Although, we saw a leopard, bara singa & langurs.Took an elephant safari early in the morning as well. Awesome experience!Overall, the fun is staying overnight inside the jungle in one of the government run forest resthouses to feel the atmosphere.👍
I just guide you something. If you are booking online and getting pass from Corbett then only go over there, else local guide will exploit by saying the same range of money but they wont take you jungle rather they wont show you even a monkey on the way of said jungle road.
