Coral Hotel - Hotel in Khartoum, Sudan
Fancy
Big roomsNot cleanVery old
During Hilton-times (long, long agoit was the first adress in Karthoum/ Sudan. Drinking Long-Drinks at pool´s bar was quite nice :-).... A great cuisine, even during night you could get a tomato-soup or whatever you want.Sadly these times a gone.....But there is hope, maybe next year, everything will be better!!!
2 star for the potential. Otherwise, like every thing in Sudan the once a prestigious hotel now is a decaying, mold smelling with uninterested staff (they look exhausted and dismayed). When you step in the hotel a whiff of moldy wood hits you. The pool garden is disheveled and poorly kept. It takes forever for orders to get prepared .
A Nightmare in Khartoum,One of the worst hotel I ever been.No hot water, not only one day but for all the 4days that I stay here.Restaurant service is slow & unprofessional, choice is limited and waitress dont know which plate are available. If you order one not available, took half an hour just to come back and tell you that is not available.Dinner is an experience of 1h waiting, almost. Finally when you can eat something, you understood that you wasted your time.Kitchen is poor and dish arrive cold.
Amazing
The worst experience, very careless staff, and this is the first time I come across an hotel that doesn’t prepare their own menu and the don’t allow your order from outside and eat in the hotel!!!!!!!! Outdated, smelly, and falling apart. the night shift manager thinks he is smart.
Nice place for iftar in Ramadan.
Nice rooms, good breakfast, friendly staff.
Hotel is ok. Need refurbishment specially wash rooms.Hot water should run 24/7 not by their schedule.Swimming pool is muddy need to filter itRoom is good, spacious and comfy.Outside view is good.Wifi is goodBreakfast is good at times. But sometimes finished half an hour earlyRoom service is not too professional.Drawback : you cant get food delivered from outside. You will be scolded !You have to drag your luggage by yourselfFront desk: Majed is amazing guy
Hospitality, services are awesome
1 star for Location, swimming pool and view. Very BAD MANAGEMENT. VERY BAD HOUSE KEEPING, No hot water for shower. I have to take shower daily by chilled water. Waste of money. Next time No, NEVER.
A good hotel. The gym is poor and the pool side needs maintenance but the rooms are clean and service is friendly.
Place looks good but price wise a bit expensive
In Khartoum it is optimal however they charge very high
Good to have to have the coffee in the front garden with free internet
A lot to be said, I feel they need renovation seriously which kind of old outdated hotel which does not fall under heritage hotel nor under new. Food is OK and rest if the facilities are the OK only and check this hotel for the stay and they not ready to offer a corporate rate, imagine. Think before stay
They change you a lot for nothing, they dont even replace the bed sheets, and the towel smells Gas, not recommended.
It was Hilton but now they change the name to Coral Hotel
Old and Fatigue hotel, where check-in takes ages, rooms are smelling really bad, water leaking, walls with mole, humid bed sheets, sticky desk or anything you touch, gym not accessible to the man before 3PM, shady water of the swimming pool, and so on and so on. We went there to reduce costs, but in the end Ill go back to Corinthia or Rotana.
Good location, 24 hrs water available both hot and cold, pool, wifi at Room, morning breakfast compliment but Indian food not available.
Very nice near the Nile
Best hotel. Swimming pool and every facility available
Delicious breakfast. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Bad Wi-Fi.
Kind people, very clean, pleasent service, comfortable ...etc. i loved it lots❤
Comfortable bed and good service
They have nice weekend quisin ...
I am so happy to this experience when in arrive to this hotel till I leave it .
Brilliantly situated at the confluence of the Blue and White Nile, Coral Khartoum Hotel enjoys a superb location in the historic capital of Sudan.Merely 6.5 kilometres away Khartoum International Airport, Coral Khartoum Hotel is a convenient choice for both leisure and business travellers. The largest International Conference Hall in Sudan called the Friendship Hall is within walking distance. Just 2.5 kilometres away from the hotel is the Presidential Palace and the city centre.
Good place nice building but in regular conditions.
I spent good time with lovely people.
Just arrived, second time around. Its serene and elegant.
Very nice hotel.nice rooms.
Aged facilities in good location. Wifi is poor as. Housekeeping can do a better job.
This place is amazing but some times the food is so bad
Excellent value for money.Very good service.Good food and prices.Good pool and surroundingGym needs improvement.
Nice view with reasonable prices
Very nice, helpful and kind staff
previously Hilton, good service, i like their rooms in the park, beautiful... Good food and service
Excellent, My kids enjoyed swiming
Very good also hospitality people
Beautiful views. Varied breakfast options
OK. Used to be the Hilton till the American embargo. Now run by corporation. Decor is tired and old. In the colonial style if you like that sort of thing. However, staff are wonderful. Very relaxed place. Lovely pool. Food was plentiful and good
Poor service. A/C not cold. Called the reception and they said they cant do anything about it. And Im here for 4 days.
This is an absolute sad excuse of a hotel, horrible service and management, dont come here, Id rather sleep in a bush. Outside.
I write this letter with indignation.Unable such as your hotel with such rank to happen such things.I can not say the exact date, but from my room missing money .I do not know how you pick the staff, but I can not stay in an expensive hotel, then I regret that.Antonio Yankov
