Copper Alley Bistro - Irish restaurant in Dublin, Ireland
Small quaint place we went twice. Harding working staff work hard to make your meal enjoyable.
We enjoyed our meal at Copper Alley Bistro! The chowder was tasty but was a little too salty for my taste & was not nearly as filling as other meals have been. Service was good.
Lovely little restaurant. Good menu with traditional wholesome meals. I went for the sirloin which I asked for medium rare; it was a little rare when it arrive but I asked to cook a little longer which was no issue. Came back perfect, and the pepper sauce was excellent. Nice friendly staff also, highly recommended!
Not the fanciest place ive ever been, but the food was really good!
I was seated and then sat there for 20 minutes at a table, was never even given water. They were not full. Quite a shame, they do have a nice looking menu and a wonderful whiskey list.
You might come for the huge menu of whiskeys and draft beers and ciders. Or you might come for the very fine and original food (delicious vegan salad). In both cases, you wont be disappointed. Quiet and classy atmosphere too.
Excellent food! The head chef even came to say hello and check up on us! Great hospitality and waiters are very nice!
friendly and pleasant place. Irish breakfast and salmon egg dish are very good. Not price either.
Have been here three times: 1 brunch, one lunch and now dinner. The food in each case is excellent: tastes great, wonderfully presented and we all enjoy each item. The place is charming. In addition to all that, the workers are friendly, helpful and provide outstanding service. It’s worth the walk to ChristChurch area. Treat yourselves!
The food presentation was excellent and tasted fine. Service was good. I would go there again
Good food, better staff
As a Korean, I was genuinely and unbelievably impressed. I had Korean-style wings and it was ridiculously nice. Still, I dont understand how I can have such a nice Korean food in Ireland. Somehow it was utterly delicious. Well-cooked wings including mashed potato and crispylicious bread. Cant be better! Im convinced that it is another level than any other original chicken wings in Korea. I really appreciate to the all gentle and nice staffs, in particular to the head chef. Once again, thank you very much for your great food. 👍
A generous 2 star. Barely warm food precooked. No love or attention, would not recommend.
Staff are lovely. Food is a bit of a let down. Came out luke warm. Ingredients arent the best. Things were quite undercooked for my liking, even after asking for bacon well done.
Absolutely recommend! We arrived at 9:40pm, asking what time they close. The wait staff informed us that they close at 10:00pm. As we try to avoid being customers who come into a sit down restaurant within a half hour of closing, we said "Alright. Thank you. We dont want to bother you so close to closing." Two members of the wait staff quickly urged us to stay, saying "Thank you for being considerate, but we really dont mind. Please stay." Both the beer and food (their signature burger and the beef stewwere amazing.Top notch experience all around and highly recommend!
Soup of the day was chicken… and absolutely excellent. The best chicken soup I’ve had in years. The atmosphere is absolutely inviting and lovely. Staff is wonderful. Also had the chowder and mussels- all delicious!
Popped in yesterday with my boyfriend and it was so good!! Staff are so lovely and helpful and the food was delicious, huge portions and just amazing! Will definitely come back if we’re back down south again!
This bistro is wonderful! Very friendly staff, excellent food, and an overall very beautiful place to eat! I highly recommend this bistro to anyone who’s touring Dublin :)
Fantastic spot with delicious coffee and a phenomenal Irish breakfast. Great prices for tourists and locals!
I had one of the best burgers of my life here!!! 10/10 recommend as a great spot to eat at any time of day
This place was great! I was with a group of friends (all taking a Dublin study abroad courseand we felt so welcome here! The man who was talking to us the whole time even gave us a map of Dublin and gave us tips on how to feed the deer in Phoenix Park, and of course the food was amazing too!
Had a very nice Irish breakfast here for a good price. Good portion especially the bacon. White pudding was surprisingly good :Great service!
Seriously the best fish I’ve had in my life! Wow!! Beautiful space also, very comfortable. Loved my time!
Such a lovely staff and environment! The food was fantastic - lamb shank that melts in your mouth. We were so thrilled by the service we came back the next night. 11/10 would come back to Ireland for it!
This is a nice place attached to a hotel. We were served well and staff was pleasantly good. The menu was good. Burgers are delicious. Mountain lion burger is huge and if you are hungry it will be good. I wish menus had beef grams mentioned or portions indicated more properly. But overall good place that is not crowded.
we had to wait a bit long for our plates but everything was good
I would definitely recommend this spot for breakfast. We had th scrambled eggs salmon and avocado it was so delicious. The coffee is great too. The service was excellent very nice and friendly. Also they play relaxing tunes its a good ambiance.
I had dinner here this evening with a friend from the States... The fish and chops are absolutely fabulous. . Ronan and the staff were so welcoming and the atmosphere was lively. Great for dinner then go downstairs to live music night in Darkey Kellys....Great night out...
Gorgeous meal in a cosy restaurant. I had the pasta with prawns and my other half had the Korean sizzling chicken dish. Food quality was amazing. Prices for Dublin were reasonable. Staff were friendly. The bar next door had good music and a lively atmosphere. 👌 😍
What a lovely place to eat. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Lovely atmosphere and the food was outstanding. A gem of a find. Hope to go back again next time I visit Dublin.
Friendly service, very good food, had a very long wait for our meal as did fellow diners, with no real explanation or apology. So when I chose not to leave a tip without explanation the waiter commented and seemed annoyed. He took exception to me wanting to use contacless and not hand my card over.
Excellent service and excellent food! The beef stew was delicious! Tugiy was so sweet! Even gave a list of must see places in Ireland.
I got the vegan burger, it was out of this world! The venue was gorgeous, staff were fantastic, our server was called Tugay and he was very attentive and friendly. Highly recommend this restaurant, the food was top class, reasonably priced and a great buzz around the place, cannot wait to come back!
Fresh and tasty food. Cozy place with good prices. Eva was lovely at any time and suggest us to order a few dishes. Thanks Eva! Really recommend this bar to go and enjoy a good food.
Amazing little gem!Got the fried chicken wings with fiery sauce, I can say they are the best I have tasted...anywhere!Garlic sauce with the chips rounded it off along with a blood orange cider!Yes!!!Tugay was very attentive and was there on hand waiting to helpAmazing and will be back!!
Myself and my son had a fabulous meal here. We were indecisive as to what to so we took our waiters recommendations. He was not wrong. I had the lamb shank, delicious. My son had fish and chips. Fabulous.Dessert was lovely, finished off with a cappuccino.I had a guinness while waiting for the meal. It was excellent. Held its head to the end.
Nice place to eat, delicious fish and chips but also the waitress were the best part. Tugay and Eion help me and my family to decide the best plate with nice knowledge. So good
What a fantastic restaurant in the heart of Dublin! We were staying in Harding hotel next door and decided to try this restaurant. The food was simply amazing, thanks to the recommendations of our waiter Tugay! Service was also great and Tugay made sure we had everything we needed. A great dining example and highly recommended!
Nice venue, staff friendly, however the breakfast at over €10 leaves a bit to be desired, we ordered 2 but only got 1 and a random smoked salmon dish. My other half was content to have the salmon as the breakfast wasnt overly appetising, for the life of me I have no idea how you can burn an egg but still leave it undercooked on top. The salmon was done well and was a plentiful portion so every cloud. Not the best but not the worst Ive been too.
We were recomended by someone and it was perfect. The chicken hamburger was really tasty and huge, and the beef and guinnes stew was delicious, perfect to try something really Irish. We were served by Pablo and Raquel, they were very close and professional. We really recomended it.
During our city trip, we ate twice at cooper alley bistro. The dishes were delicious, large portions, for small prices. The staff was really friendly. I recommend 100%. ps: You redid our evening with the 2 falls on the stairs. XD
Very caring and polite staff, I felt appreciated, loved and most importantly forgiven for wearing sweatpants into bistros. Chicken burger was on point and the beer selection more than decent! Will come again.
We got the salmon scrambled eggs and fluffy pancakes and it was delicious! The salmon egg and avocado combo was perfect. Service was great, very friendly staff. Also the latte was one of my favorites here in Dublin so far!
delicious food, great service 👌🏻
Very good restaurant. Ambiance and decor was tasteful and unique. The service from staff was very welcoming and highly efficient even on a busy Saturday night. And, what youre wanting to know the most, the food was delicious. First class restaurant. Now my favourite on Dublin.
Everything very good! Nice place, in the center of Dublin
Such a nice stopMy wife and I stop at this place, after been walking around DublínI do not regret thatThe staff is Meh, but the place is cosy, and the food is good and tasty.I had Irish breakfast, the sausages were really tasty and juicy: I ordered some hot sauce and they got me Buffalo sauce, that was funny.I’ll comeback anytime soon
I ate breakfast hier about ten times in two weeks since I was a guest of the Harding Hotel next door and this is where you receive your breakfast. Over the course of these two weeks I was very pleased with both the food being served and the excellent service. I recommend the pancakes or the omlette, which is very generous and which will keep you satisfied until your evening meal! Many thanks to John and his colleagues!
Staff was a little standoffish at the start and unwilling to go off menu for anything drinks related, even for a very simple request. As my girlfriend points out, they didnt even ask what the request was. The atmosphere was... weird. Im not sure how to explain it more than that. The booth we were led to was a bit run down. Tape on the seats to cover holes that was falling off and got stuck to me a few times. However, the one saving grace of this place was the food. The steak was cooked to absolute perfection and amazingly seasoned. The champ was amazing, converting me from being so-so with champ to a full on fan. The chips were crispy and fluffy at the same time, the burger thick and juicy... It was great. And exceptionally filling. I cannot praise the kitchen enough. They are genuinely the only reason I can give this place a 3 star rating. So, in summary, not great staff or atmosphere, but if you can look past that and wait for the food, do. It makes it worth while. Just.
I had no idea where to go but wanted to eat near Christ Church. Lovely food and delicious tea. The environment was friendly and easy to order. They have a simple and nice menu. If you are a visitor, I highly recommend. And of course reasonable prices & free fast WiFi. What more can you ask?
