Copenhagen Coffee Lab - Düsseldorf Steinstr./Berliner Allee - Coffee shop in Langenfeld, Germany
A nice place beside all other places around: not to busy so that you can make some calls / do some work and enjoy a good coffee.
Great coffee (also with organic or oat milkand delicious snacks! You can pay via cash or card.Indoor and outdoor seating are available. The place also offers toilets.
This coffee shop was the first to open in the morning, and the atmosphere and taste are friendly
Is too expensive and this time the Coffee was Not good .Sorry..normally was perfekt But Not this time.I suggest tò make koffee with more love...😉
We visited this place on a Saturday noon.It was very crowded. The location of this place is great. The ambience is cozy. It took a lot of time to even place the order and it was little disorganized. It took additional time to get the coffee. We ordered a cappuccino, latte along with a bread and brownie. Coffee and the bread tasted okay. The brownie tasted great.Overall, had an average experience.
The new staff is SO disappointing, please bring back the previous employees! Also: no classic cakes anymore.
Cinnamon rolls are tasty but a bit expensive. The internet there is poor…
Fantastic coffee quality and yummy deserts, lovely atmosphere👍👍
Really tasty coffee and tea and buns. But the hand of my cup was dirty :(
Too bad. Awful cappucino. No healthy options to grab a bite. Overpriced considering that there are no waiters working. And cherry on top wi-fi didn’t work. So many nice coffee & brunch spots but that’s not the one
Great place overall for a quick bite and coffee. Sandwiches are nice, we had the mozzarella with tomato, but the place could work on adding more choices. Their buns were super nice, and the coffee was great. Prices are a bit high (mozzarella on a toast for 7€!)
the Copenhagen coffee lab is one of my favorite coffee shops in Düsseldorf. it is super cute and aesthetic and has really nice vibes. right at the subway station, only a few minutes from the center. they have DELICIOUS raspberry/ blueberry rolls and super soft and yummy cinnamon buns. the staff is super friendly. I really enjoy going there with my friends. ☕️🥐🥯🍞🥖🥞🧇🥧🍳
Good breakfast - no plastic garbage if you eat in store!
THE WORST BREAKFAST EXPERIENCE!Overpriced. Rude unprofessional employees. Long wait. Slow service. No basic covid measures. No hygiene.Prices on the menu differ from the actual prices. Very slow service. Disrespectful employees. We ordered 2 mozzarella overpriced toasts (7€ eachbecause they dont serve breakfast menus until 10.30. We waited for 15 minutes for our order and they gave it to another costumer. We told them that it is our order by they said no your order is on the way and we have to wait. The costumer ate one dish and returned the other claiming he didnt order it. The employees served this dish to us. We asked to prepare a new one for us because that dish stood on the table of someone else for 10 minutes that is taking the level of hygiene aside, is against all COVID measures. After 5 more minutes we were served with the toasts we ordered while one was fresh, the other was wet soggy and less warm (clearly reheatedand tastes AWEFUL. When we told the employees they refused to take responsibility. After a 20 minutes wait, is someone elses reheated soggy sandwich worth 7€?
Why putting dijón mustard on a salami and cheese sandwich? Whyyyy? There was also so balsamic vinegar, please do better
Well centered café for a nice breakfast while sitting in the sun and watching life go around.Choose your type of bread, they have many
Tasteless cold food, full of onions avocado plate. Our Coffee was burnt (flat and cappuccino).
Good coffee and a lot of pastry and sandwich options.
Great cafe for working or eating breakfast/lunch! Cozy and chic, with good food & drinks. A bit more pricey than regular bakeries/cafes, but makes up with a nice atmosphere. Very friendly service, and work-friendly!
This place had the most horrible service I ever stumbled upon in a coffee place (and I managed coffee shops for 20 years). There were 2 employees behind the bar and there was a steady line of ~10 customers. We gave the cashier our order. He was nice and nothing seemed out of the ordinary, but then all the issues presented themselves. The barista made us the wrong coffee. OK, that happens. She made a new one. Then we took it to our table and looked for forks for our breakfast (which arrived 15 minutes later, and also had meat in it, although we asked for a vegetarian one). There were no big forks, just cake forks. The barista said they have none at the moment (?!).Then, the most astonishing thing happened. We couldnt find sugar for our coffee. We asked the barista, and she said theres no sugar. We were shocked and told her "how come in a place that specializes in coffee theres no sugar?!". She didnt try to help or explain. Just repeated the same answer,in the most robotic tone. Then the cashier joined the conversation and started yelling at me (!!!"we have no sugar!". I was SHOCKED. Someone working at a coffee place yelling at a customer for complaining theres no sugar. In addition to that, the entire place was a total mess. Dirty plates and dishes on all the tables, really disgusting. The 2 employees seemed lost and confused and definitely couldnt control all the work they had.It was certainly not their fault for being left alone to serve such a big place, but it is definitely their fault for being so rude and yelling at customers for asking for something trivial like sugar.I will never EVER go back there and I do hope that someone who yells at a customer for asking for sugar, will lose their job for someone who knows how to treat customers.
NO SUGAR • NO FORKS • DIRTY TABLES • A HAIR ON THE CHEESE • NO HAND PAPER IN THE TOILET • SERVING MISTAKES • RUDE & UNPROFESSIONAL STAFFHave you ever visit a place that serve coffee, but have NO SUGAR? And when you wondered, the staff almost yelled at you? With no respect, or explanation?Have you ever tried to eat breakfast WITHOUT A FORK? And when you ask, the answer was: we dont have forks! Again, with no apology, with no explanation.• The place was a MESS,• 60% of the tables were DIRTY (See the pic),• I ordered a vegetarian Frühstück, but I got a regular one,• I ordered ice coffee, but I got hot coffee,• I found a HAIR on the yellow cheese,• and there was NO HAND PAPER in the toilet.A few minutes before we left, ONE OF THE CUSTOMERS BOUGHT THE STAFF 1 KILOGRAM SUGAR.Really.UNBELIEVABLE !
You should hire employees who smile… the lady was so horrible to treat with. Coffe with no flavor at all and food either! The cinnamon roll didnt taste at all! I eat a bit and had to leave it… (see pictureSo disappointed!
We love it! My husband and I lived for 7 years in Melbourne and consider ourself as quite snobby when it comes to coffee. Yes the coffee lab is only a franchise but the coffee is tasty, the staff is nice and the food is great! 5/5
Great cappuccino and grillem sandwiches. Perfect, kind service. I would only add more gluten frei options.
The coffee and the service are good. The place is nice.
Love this cafe. We make it a point to go there as an when we get time. ;)
One of the cutest cafes in Düsseldorf. We had Americano, chai latte, and a brownie and they were all very delicious. The staff is also very friendly.
The coffee was really good and the staff were very friendly.I tried the Canella and it was very delicious.Im definitely coming back.
Traditional nordic flavor coffee beans, not dark roasted, so their coffee tasted a bit sour. Of course, if you like it, this café is a nice place to go.Very easy to find. Just at an exit of a metro station, and next to a tram station. It was a nice experience to enjoy a cup of nordic coffee and look at the traffic and pedestrians in a sunny morning…
Lovely digital nomad friendly coffee shop. Nice lunch options. Light/medium roast but very well extracted.
I went to this cafe rather a lot! I order their chai latte mostly, and while most of the time it came out perfectly, sometimes it misses the mark. Apart from that people are friendly, young, and of course can speak english to those of you non-German speakers. Love their carrot cake, and any cream cheese related pastry! :P oh and you can pay by card, but sometimes their machine is not functional, so better have ur cash standby all the time. :)Also, the location is really to enjoy the drink while basking into the sun ☀️!
The place looked nice from the outside so we decided to have breakfast there. The tables were full of dirty dishes, people were literally cleaning them themselves. Whatever we ordered they didn’t have: avocado dish, boiled egg, orange juice, etc. it was like a bad movie when ordering but since we were hungry we just accepted whatever they had …and tbh it was expensive!
Nice place for grabbing a coffee and dessert. Service was okay but some tables were dirty. In general good
Good coffee in the middle of Düsseldorf. Copenhagen Coffee Lab brings excellent coffee and food to all visitors. With a wide selection of coffees as well as sandwiches, pastries (like croissants and danishesyou and go hungry. Or just go for the coffee.
Had a cappuccino here, it is not too strong and rather mellow which works for me, if you prefer a stronger punch, the coffee might not have that kind of kick for you. Loved the Kardemummabulle, which goes well with the coffee. The cafe has a variety of seating, the counter seats facing the winter are great for having coffee while looking at the street. There are also more quiet corner seats.
Tried my usual flat white with oatmilk, wasnt strong enough for me, wouldve given it a four if it were a tad stronger. The coffee blend seemed to be very good otherwise, whole-bodied, not too bitter, slightly mild overall( not sure about that since they put too much milk!!!!!!).
Since it has new owners, it went from bejng my favorite place to just another Café Chain. The food is mostly the same but I no longer feel like Im taking a mini trip to one of my favorite cities in the world. The decor has completely changed, the beautiful pictures of Copenhagen are gone. The service is no longer "brisk, friendly, efficient". There is no longer a cool chill-out feeling, but rather whining babies and loud groups - obviously, If thats your thing on a weekend morning, than youll feel at home - but then pleaae change the Café name.
Tasty pastries and nice atmosphere! I worked on my laptop, and I thought the wifi was decent. The staff was also friendly! I only wish I had gotten there earlier (arrived a little after 12hrso that I could’ve tried their sandwiches, they were all out by the time I got there. Would definitely return.
Great selection of pastery, sandwiches and cakes.Friendly staff.- Toilet available.- Indoors seats and Outdoor seats.- High Chairs available.
Great atmosphere, delicious coffee, big variety of bread and some pastries! Recommended
Very nice place. Good coffee and snacks. Maybe a little bit loud but in general I found this place confty. Also there are power sockets and wifi here so this place is suitable for cafe-office too
The pastries and sandwiches are the highlight in the place. The filter coffee is good, but not the espresso. Ive ordered a cortado and got a cappuccino instead. The espresso is over roasted and bitter.Friendly service, but theyre super busy and everyone seems overwhelming, it seems that they are always under staff. The place is clean, but not cozy and warm.
Really good coffee, nice interior and tasty snacks.
Totally worth it. The pastry is simply amazing. It is a complete different flavour than german bakeries. We service is friendly and helpful. They recommended it me the cardamom bread, delicious, I almost didn’t make it to the picture. The coffee is also tasty. It is a bit mor expensive than other coffee shops, but we were satisfied.
They makes sure that you gets what you want, they ask a lot but finally everything is perfect. I had a great breakfast, with good coffee and great service
Such a cute coffee place! The coffee is really good and the atmosphere is lovely
Best pastry in all of Düsseldorf, they make real croissants, that you dont have to out anything on top to make them eatable, nice chais with milk thats foaming, I can recommend the yellow pudding thingy (cant remember their or the german names for it, but refuse to call it a pudding-"brezel" anywayits the best 👌🔥Also their pizza is really tasty and the hot chocolate as well, tasted both as well even if I didnt ordered them.Oh and the stuff is the best here, theres this tall blackhaired irish barista that makes the absolut best coffees and chais, hes super friendly and always so helpful, gotta love him as well.Anyway, looking for baked goods? Go there! Not? Check it out anyway! 🎉
Great coffee and breakfast. Very polite staff. My coffee got cold and they made me fresh coffee without any charge !
Spacious...Loved it..Great Ambience...Great Coffee and brownies...Staff were good and helpful...Quite inside with a view of the busy street outside...Enjoyed the space...
Good seating area. Nice atmosphere and good baked goods. However, the coffee doesnt rise to the standard of Scandinavian coffee.
