New Orleans-based chain offering a lengthy menu of Cajun-Creole classics, plus signature drinks.
My family and visit Copeland today. My daughter’s choice. Why is it so dark. We was seated in the aisle of the restaurant. It was dark there was no light above us. The waiter passed our table several times without asking did we need anything ( water is what we needed). Salad came with the entree. Sad to say my visit was not meet satisfying results today
Forgot to take pictures of our food😢 everything was delish and our waitress was excellent. Very good atmosphere.
Poor experience for Valentines day last night. Saw our waiter twice, someone else dropped off our food, had to get up and find someone to bring us silverware. Had to wave someone down for a to-go box and our check. One and a half hour experience of mostly waiting for "service." Food was great, but super expensive to have such poor waitstaff.
The food was delicious, I enjoyed my Tomato basil pasta, and my husband liked his shrimp Tasso pasta as well. The cheesecake was delicious!! I had the caramel praline, and he had the original. Both were great. Our server was very friendly and took good care of us. We enjoyed our visit here. Thanks!
For all those with bad reviews try sitting at bar. Sheka was excellent. Service was flawless. The blackened chicken and it was so good. I loved the Woo woo martini. Every thing was so good. First time but wont be last
We just had to walk out! When we came in the lady in the bakery section was very friendly but the lady at the desk never said a word to us and looked around for the hostess.... we were seated and waited and waited and waited for a server to come....there was a server waiting on the 2 tables beside us but never came to our table... we had been seated 10-15 minutes without any service so we left! This isnt our first bad experience here so we will never be back!
Service was not so good. At one point had to get up and get the water jug off the back of our booth and fill our own glasses bc we couldnt get our server to even look in our direction. My Alfredo had so much black pepper in it that I almost couldnt eat it. Our friends fish had bones in it, and the manager wasnt very apologetic about it at all. He gave them $10 off that meal and then put on the ticket, "customer didnt want" as the reason for the discount.
First time here; first time at any Copelands. We waited an hour, really an hour, for our food. There was just four of us. So the service was just horrible. The food was nothing more than mediocre. The atmosphere was fine; the prices were way over the top for the food they serve. We will never go back. Save yourself the disappointment and try someplace else!
On the rare occasion my wife and I are able to have a child free date night, we love Copelands! Its not a cheap place to eat by any stretch of the imagination, especially if you add adult beverages to your order. However, you get what you pay for, and with Copelands you get an amazing, intimate low light atmosphere, attentive servers, and top shelf cuisine. Theyre known primarily for their seafood, which my wife tells me is phenomenal, but they have amazing beef and chicken options for weirdos like me who have an aversion to things that come out of the water. Copelands is as close to a perfect dining experience as youll find in the state.
Went to celebrate my daughters 30th birthday.Small group of 6. Food was excellent but the service was less than desirable. ( It was awful )Only 1 of 3 salads ordered were ever delivered and it had the wrong dressing. Wait time on salad 1hr. Asked for lemon. Wait time 25min.Another 10 min for meal to come out. Ordered desert and here we go again.Total time 140 min. Nobody seemed to care.

First time here the food and service was great! Thanks for your hospitality Mrs. DEE and Im sorry I didnt catch the young, light skin, big alfro bus boy who gave me order menu tips. I will be back again.
The food is always very good. Ive gone here fairly regularly for several years. It is beginning to look quite worn out. Not sure I would want to see it with the lights up. Decor, and of course, cleanliness are part of the dining out experience for me.
For a busy lunch hour, they had 1 server (Kylerunning the entire front of the restaurant. Poor guy was sweating he was working so hard. The food took almost the entire hour to come out - and it was all small plates or sandwiches. They can charge $15+ for entrees but not fix the locks on their bathroom stalls?! Would never go back until management changed. I didnt even get my food while we there and had to get it to go. Food was good, but not worth it.
Went to the Little Rock location on 9/09/2019. Toni was our server and she was on top of it. As a former full srvc restaurant mgr, I would recruit her in a heart beat. We were greeted by the hostess upon entering, restaurant was clean, drinks were refilled, food was hot, bathrooms were clean, and execution of service was prompt. Restaurant was not busy and I did not witness a floor manager. The wine we requested off the drink menu was not in stock. Overall experience during this visit was an improvement from the last visit.
We had several different entries. They were all delicious and the presentation was great. Will be returning soon.
We got here at 7pm. Waited to be seat which wasn’t a problem. We chatted until 730 and placed our orders. Our food came out around 845-850. My food wasn’t hot at all so i asked my server to take it back. She was very kind. She took my food back at the same time it came out. It is now 940pm and I’m still sitting here waiting for my food. This is not the Copeland’s that I know. I’m very disappointed and I’ve watched individuals who were seated after us eat and leave and we are still here.Manager comes over and apologizes and says he will offer a discount. Food finally arrives at 9:55. I ordered the seafood platter. My crab bites are hot, fries are cold, shrimp are warm, fish is warm, no crab cake, and no onions. I’m literally over it at this point. I can’t believe this is what Copeland’s has come too. It used to be a very upscale restaurant with quality food. At my server was really nice.
Enjoyed a nice lunch. Waitstaff was great and very attentive. Food was cooked to order. Parking was adequate.
Our first few visits were excellent. Every visit since then has gotten worse and worse. The only redeeming factor was the manager coming over to greet us, and my husbands food. We always order the crab claws, but fried. They bring them out, and its literally just a handful. They didnt even bring the sauce, which meant waiting an extra 5 minutes for it, and our claws by then were just room temperature. Our server was extremely slow with everything, including our salads, which we didnt recieve until after our main course arrived! Ill likely be back, in hopes that it was just a bad day because we love it there, but this visit and last few were just ok.
Staff excellent, lovely environment and food tasty/good value. Be prepared though, should expect a wait...maybe the could have table side bread or something to help out those who are hungry. Seafood is fresh and cheesecake really good.
Friendly staff with a smile great service the shrimp ducky is a1 an the crawfish bread was amazing
My husband and I visited for the first time with some friends. The location left something to be desired, but we gave it a chance. We were not impressed with the overpriced items on the menu. I had the crab cakes and shrimp alfredo ($18). The crab cakes tasted like nutmeg, while the pasta was very spicy..almost to the point I couldnt eat it. The low lighting helped to hide any dirty walls or tables. They were short staffed and our waitress stayed very busy. Our entrees were out promptly, but it took a long while for her to get our desserts. I dont think we will be returning.
By far my favorite restaurant. The ambiance is perfect for date night and the creole menu is delicious! Plan on a 20 minute wait, but its worthwhile. Have a drink at the bar while you wait!
Visiting Copelands for the first time was great. Food and service was great. The crawfish beignets were the best I have ever had. My family enjoyed their food. The staff was personable, and kind. Large, dimly lit restaurant, I really like the ambiance. Affordable, with generous food portions, and alcohol selection..
We decided to give this place a shot because it had such wonderful reviews online. We were not impressed. We were a party of two and we ordered simple meals. We stayed away from anything that was was noted on the menu as needing another 15 minutes to prepare. I ordered the crab cakes with zucchini noodles. My boyfriend ordered the steak and shrimp with a white sauce and noodles. We waited 40 minutes for our appetizer and another 30 minutes after that for our meals to come. And, the flavor of the food you ask? Average. We felt we could have gotten the same quality at Olive Garden for half the price and with better and faster service. We will not be returning.
Give this restaurant with delicious food, friendly atmosphere, and amazing service from waitstaff (and even the managera try next time youre nearby! There are several choices depending on your mood; and dont balk at the price. The food portions are crazy big and made fresh and from scratch. The flavor was on point. Ill definitely be back!
Food was incredible. Our server didnt seem too enthused about serving at first. She later came around. The atmosphere was amazing. Great for date night! Dont be in a hurry.
This place is got to be the best place Ive tried so far in Little Rock. It has a romantic upscale feel to it. The food is awesome as well. I had the stuffed shrimp and pasta. But I cant forget about the service because it was great also. I will definitely be back when I return to LR.
I ordered the buffalo spring rolls as an appetizer, and the grilled chicken and yams as my main meal. Everything was delicious! The waiter only been there for two weeks but he was good. I will most definitely be back.
Food was delicious, ambiance was lovely. We had lunch. Fried chicken was super hot and well flavored. Shrimp pasta was cooked perfectly! Our waiter was very nice and attentive.
Delicious. Its hard to find a better restaurant with this good of quality food. From atmosphere to delightful smells, this place is romantic and a nice place to just go out.
Love the atmosphere and the live music on the weekends! The best cheesecake around too!!! Not a large menu but everything I ha e had was wonderful and I left stuffed! Great appetizers too!!! Could make a meal off those alone!!! Full bar! Check out the bar while your there!!!
Dinner for two (my wifes birthdaywas fantastic! Weve been here before and this is my wifes favorite. The broccoli balls appetizer is really good...wish there were more though. Crispy on the outside and soft and wonderful on the inside. I had the big fried seafood platter and my wife had a seafood with pasta dish (I forget exactly which one)...crabcakes on both were really good. They were both delicious AND we both had enough for lunch the next day! King-cake / cheesecake for dessert...very nice. The service was great and the atmosphere was nice too. Depending on what youre used to; the cost is a little on the higher side, but not bad at all. Overall a great dining experience.
First visit and will return. Waiter was beyond helpful and friendly. Drinks were a little unusual and good. Sandwiches were large with very good flavor. The Bananas Foster cheesecake was very good and bread pudding was wonderful.
I visited on 9/6/18 the service sucks! The manager on duty was assisting the bartender. He brought over my drink. He spilled some of it in the chair. Never came back to get it up. He was too busy assisting the table next to me. Which I was informed that was his wife, and her friends. It took 30 minutes for me to get another drink. But at his wife table, had so many drinks that it was clutter. I visit here several times a week. Happy hour is great, and the food is good. When I complained to my waitress about the spill. She replied hes the manager, and no other manager is on duty. Besides, the kitchen manager. She didnt apologize for spill. They need to hire better managers, and waitress.
The food is always wonderfully delicious at Copelands. It its just a little on the spicy side of you are not into that but hey, its Cajun! The cheesecake here is some of the very best Ive ever had, top 3 at least! I like mine plain but they do have about a dozen toppings to choose from. Staff its always professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. If there is any drawback at all it would be "dont go if youre in a hurry". Almost always busy and a long wait at the table, but nothing ridiculous.
The ribeye was insanely delicious and worth every penny. Robby the waiter was fabulous. The Apple martini was delicious as well. Stuffed mushrooms, shrimp and onion peddle appetizers were great and great portions. The 1000 island dressing was homemade and wonderful. Couldn’t have been a better experience
Great family option for seafood. Awesome stuffed shrimp and the corn crab bisque is phenomenal!
So yummy! I had the blackened catfish with crawfish pilaf and it was amazing. Very well seasoned and cooked well. Hubby had the Bayou Chicken with the mushroom dressing. Really good but the cauliflower augratin he got on the side was maybe 2 spoons full and we had to pay for the side. Otherwise - great experience and our waitress Ansley gave us fantastic service. Will definitely come again!
Oh so good Cajun cuisine....💓💓💕💙 great staff and amazing courses.
Love the fried chicken!!! Really fast friendly service. Food was amazing. The only downside was the restroom paper towels. The wet roll on the deal there was pretty nasty.
The service was great, however the meal and drinks were nowhere near worth the $98 tab. My ribeye was so salty I could hardly stand to eat it, and I woke up in the morning sick to my stomach. My wifes shrimp pasta wasnt bad, but still not the quality wed expect for the money.
The Olive Garden of Cajun food was the best summary I heard among my coworkers during lunch as a summery of Copelands. Cajun bread was a great appetizer, tried the pecan crusted catfish and gumbo and it was good.
Wonderful experience. I had the Shrimp Orleans and it was great. Melted in my mouth. My husbands was awesome as well. Our server was great and pleasant. On top of it the whole time. Very sweet. Not our first time and wont be our last!!
Awesome date night with my Fianće. What a great 1st experience!!! We are coming back here!!! Food and drinks were great!!!!Our server Toniario is outstanding!!!
Generous portions and reasonable prices for delicious food with friendly service! Go for brunch!
Brunch was great! Food was hot. Place is clean. Price is fair. Nice quiet Sunday morning.
Love the food! Always tastes great. Wait staff tend to get overwhelmed fairly easily when a rush comes in. Maybe new personnel or lack of ability to multitask. Either way, be prepared to wait or search for your server if it gets busy. Food is great tho!
The entire meal was amazing. The ambiance was beautiful. The service was quick and our waiter was friendly and helpful. Great place. Ill definitely be back. Thanks.
This place has been our favorite little rock restaurant for years! The spinach and artichoke dip with the fried bow tie pasta is the best of all spin dips Ive had anywhere, and I get it almost every where I go! We went with a small group yesterday evening. The steaks were tender and delicious and although they changed the presentation of our favorite, woodgrilled chicken and yams, so that it no longer comes with the French fried onions on it, our waitress brought plenty out for us very quickly so that we could enjoy them with the rest of our plate while our food was still warm. Server and bartenders were very friendly and courteous and prompt in their responses to our requests. We were very pleased as always!
