Cool Mon Cafe&Lounge in Ulaanbaatar

I came to mon cher specifically for the Lebanese food. We ordered an Assorti platter that has Labneh (authentic labneh is more soir though, Hummus, Muttabal, Shankleesh and Lebanese cheese in the middle (sort of ukrainian Brinza), all generously sprinkled with olive oil. Everything was served with arabic thin pita ❤️I loved the Hummus and can say its the best Hummus in town, the flavor and the perfect consistency and texture took me back homeland where it tastes and feels just the same. The shankleesh and Muttabal mmmmmm😋😋😋We also ordered 2 meals: Sheesh tawook accompanied with delicious original flavor garlic sauce and a platter of Kibbeh (i loved every bite of it). We were so full and couldnt finish our meals so the waitresses wrapped them up for us to take away.The atmosphere of the restaurant is romantic and visually pleasing (i would suggest changing the music Playlist to something more loungy and less vocal pop hits, but thats personal)I dont remember seeing kibbeh niyye on the menu but if its not there, i wish i could go back for a platter of it accompanied with mint leaves and the lovely garlic sauce.Will definitely go back again!شكراً على الطعم الرائع يلي اخدني على بلادي ❤️

Worst experience ever. The staff is not professional, the restaurant was almost empty with no customers, however, the waiter didn’t come to me to take my order (15 min waiting). Food is average.

This place has a very special atmosphere, not common in Kyiv.I’m a frequent guest here and never was dissatisfied with food or service! Totally recommend!Also, portions are huge so you can share with friends:)

Best Lebanese place in Kyiv. I always order the shish taouk. This time we ordered the cheesecake. And it was well balanced. No too sweet not too bitter. If you order this, its a good idea for a date *wink* wink. Women dig the sweets. And this sweet dish is a kiss on the cheek guarantee.

yummy Lebanese food, Hummus was great! also the chicken shesh tawoq (i cant recall the actual name on the menu but its shesh tawoqwas good. Kebab was not that good and I wouldn’t recommend it, it was not made the original Lebanese way.

Cool place to visit. We have greatly enjoyed delicious appetizers and hot dishes of Lebanon cuisine accompanied by excellent juicy Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, home made soft tasty desserts. And very special digestive as Independence Day treatment (actually, welcome treatment)- Ukrainian vodka and pickle&Salo canapé . Great service and atmosphere. Thank you !Slava Ukraini)

The best Lebanese restaurant in Kyiv.Staff were so welcoming and cheerd us with some watermelons as a welcome.Food was so great and prices are affordable.Will definitely repeat the visit in someday.

Excellent customer service and excellent food. I have ordered many times in the last few months and I am never disappointed. The food always arrives on time and ready to serve, no need to warm it up. I order from Mon cher every time I have people coming over and they always accommodate large or small quantities depending on your needs. And needless to say that my guests are always impressed by the quality of the food which made them become regular customers themselves. The staff is very polite and professional and most of all very attentive and always ready to accommodate. I recommend Mon Cher to anyone looking for great food and outstanding customer service.

**FOOD POISONING**. I ordered a shish tawook and was sick for three hours with vomiting. This was through glovo late at night. I tried to email the company / restaurant but theres no way to contact them directly on the website. I suspect the chicken was under cooked but who knows. (many other reviews of food poisoning. Sort by lowest rating.)

Just perfect. Really nice place to eat, friendly staff, and okay prices. But tame yourself not to overeat with their delicious deserts!

I love this place! It is relaxing to sit outside. Service is fast and kind. They cook amazing everything. Dont miss to order the pilaf with cashews and some kibby for start. They are pleasure for all senses :)

Food is very good. Service was bad. Tea came so cold and they didnt bring lemon. They always take ashtray but didnt give back.

The food is very good. But the service is lacking so much .. we ordered tea after our meal but they forgot about us and they came back we told them again about tea and it didn’t came until 1 hour past or smtn like that .. but in general it’s a good place for a cozy date

Quite like the original place. But... There was distinct issue with bread (it was kinda sick=), was replaced upon notice but it would be better if they served fresh bread with first attempt.Tee had funky taste, not sure that it was intentional.

Been there twice within a 3-day-stay in the city. As a middle eastern this place serves excellent food, not authentic but very good. Particularly the Hummus, Falafel and Baba Ghanouj. Tabboule and Labneh should be more sour. Never got a chance to try meat dishes. Ah, za’tar manakeesh were a bit overcooked. Staff are very friendly and the patio is wonderfully located and designed.

Im giving it only 4/5 due to the fact my family has only gotten the grilled chicken. However, the grilled chicken is amazing!!! It just so happens to be 100m from our home and we eat here every week. Highly recommend. Updated: two years later it is still a family favorite. Possibly the greatest hummus in the world is served here!

Very good and authentic Lebanese restaurant. Had a proper mezze here with Kibeh and lots of other appetisers, everything was very tasty. Good drinks, good service and the place itself is gorgeous. They might want to review the background music (had 1:30 hours of 70s and 80s cheesy romantic musicbut other than that nothing to complain.

Lebanese and European cuisine not fart from the city center. If you are planning to have a business lunch - Mon Cher is definitely a nice place to have it. Also, they serve hookahs - never ordered, but friends of mine who did find those pretty good. So, all in all, nice place with diversified menu and Lebanese flavors all around!

Very good choice for nice and quite dinner. Meals ate tasty, middle-eastern and Ukrainien. Nice and seazoned meet, variety of spices. Shawarma is one of the best Ive ever tried. Terrace is shady, under large trees crowns and secluded, although in center of the town. Modest but nice choice of vines.

Love this place...we eat here just about once a week. Food is great and reasonably priced and the outdoor area is great for shisha and conversation. The staff is wonderful as well.

Its a very nice place. If its warm I recommend to sit outside. They have cozy outdoor terrace with pillows. And you will enjoy songs of their canary.The food is tasty and has oriental flavor. And we especially enjoyed the service.
