Cook Out in Rock Hill

If You want drinks thrown at your car by the Drive-Thru lady for absolutely no reason at all... eat here!This Location Hires Dangerously Incompetent People With No Kind Of Direction From Management! Id rather eat at a place that doesnt encourage violence at its work place.Ive also complained about this incident to corporate offices 3 weeks ago and still have not heard back from anyone!

Food was excellent. Inside was closed and my family needed to uae the restroom as we were travelling back home on vaca.

The drive thru is the only thing open and its setup so a trailer cant go through it. Go up to the door and the employee wont even come to the door (just motion at you). Call them and they dont answer so there is no way to order.

Passed thru late at night after a concert on what was probably a normally slow night/time and the employees had a bunch of people in line. They handled it very well and got cars thru as quick as possible all with keeping a great attitude and smile on their face. Food was hot, fresh and tasted great definitely a 5 star experience.

First time here. Absolutely delicious!! I got original grilled chicken sandwich. My husband got double cheese burger. We were both very happy with our meal.

1st time, not impressed! Fries were cold, burger was horrible, cheese bites didnt have any flavor.

Used to be a favorite place for me but not now . Foods have been replaced with cheaper versions & not so tasty versions like the onion rings ..No friendly customer service anymore .

This is the best cook out I have been too!!!! My food was so fresh and delicious!!!! Someone made this food with love!!!

Food always hits the spot, prices fluctuate day by day?McDonald’s makes me feel sluggish and this does the opposite. I skip the milkshake most days. Although the vanilla is great. They use a specific ice cream that’s very good. You can’t buy it anywhere.Today, I got the “big double burger tray with fries and onion rings, and a water bottle” ~ $9, yesterday ordered the same thing, ~$7. Not sure if it was a weird mix up but I’ve noticed the prices seem to fluctuate each time I go.

The last 3 times I came here (and waited 30+ minutes in the drive thruthey forgot something in my order. How are you going to raise your prices and keep leaving out items? Don’t even bother trying to pull off and check the tray, even if you’re missing something, you can’t go inside to get it (unless of course, you want to wait in the drive thru for another 30+ minutes.)

Definitely one of the better fast food joints. For not much more than McDonalds,you can have a quick satisfying meal thats certainly better quality. The fresh bananas in the milkshakes makes them the best chain shake.

They have very good prices but depend on when you go the food quality chage. In the afternoon around rush hour the quality declined. And the Male Manager( Light skin guy that wear glassesis nasty ever time I go and I know at least two more people who says the same thing so its not just me.

Dining Is closed and they will not help u if your vehicle is oversized. They told me a semi truck and trailer will fit in there drive thru. This is hilarious a semi and the trailer is 60 ft vehicl and will not fit in your drive thur so managements tell your staff not to tell customer that. Yes Im a professional driver so I know it impossible.

Cookout is about the best fast food you can get these days. The quality of the food sure beats McDonalds. The real banana in the milkshakes sets them above all other chains.

This visit was kinda annoying. The drive thru cashier was rushing me to order, so I didnt even get to pick my toppings for the burger tray because the cashier was frustrated, impatient and rude. He kept saying over and over again what else can i get you, what else can i get you, what else can i get you. He didnt ask what toppings for the burger, what sides or even my drink. The inside was closed and only the drive thru was open so i can understand he must be stressed but if a customer isnt rude to you why in the world would you be so rude and impatient to them? Fast food in general has lost their customer service focus and Cook Out is following this trend. I had to basically speak over him when he kept saying "what else can I get you" in order to tell him my sides and drink. He rushed me so fast i didnt even get a chance to say what I wanted on my burger nor did he even ask or did he say anything except "what else can i get you" so they gave me a patty and bun.

I had never tried Cook Out but heard good things about them, so I decided to try it. The Hot Dog I ordered had been cooked way too long and was shriveled up and very hard, I took one bite and that was it.The BBQ plate was just okay, but the whole thing was cold. To sum it up, it was extremely disappointing.I gave it two stars when it reality it shouldve only been one.

NASTY, I transferred to this cook out from Spartanburg over Winter Break, & their whole line smells like Dooky, their lobby is nasty, & their restrooms were nasty.

It was the longest wait ever for a fast food restaurant. Had to repeat my order more than 3xs was not a complicated order at all. Ask for a sweet tea i got a cup full of colored water with no ice. First and last time for the amount i paid i should have drove off instead.

It was horrible the long wait wasnt the problem it was the rude guy at the window. He was mad because they messed up our orders and the milkshakes werent correct.

Why is there not a negative rating option? This place is unacceptable. The female at the drive thru was incredibly rude. I drove away without ordering.

The lady in the drive thru and the cook totally rocks! Late night, after work at midnight asked for 2 large seasoned fries and to put them in a tray, I thought it came that way, it doesnt but the cook did it anyways! Thank you guys!

Thieves. THEY WILL STEAL FROM YOU. THEY DONT ITEMIZE RECEIPTS SO THEY CAN OVERCHARGE YOU. OTHER PPL HAVE SAID THE SAME THING. RUDE CHILDREN WORKING THE WINDOWS. NEVER COMING BACK. I DONT CARE IF ITS A PENNY IF YOU STEAL FROM ME ITS A BIG DEAL. POOR TRASH.

STOLEN FROM!! Contacting headquarters. Slow and have messed up the last 3 of 4 orders. Had an attitude when I tried to replace the last order. I wont be coming back. I was also STOLEN FROM as my bill did not match my items. They stole about $4 from me. Do not come here and if you do check your food and your bill. Dont get STOLEN FROM like me.

Service socks. I ordered 3 milkshakes, 2 strawberry cheesecake and a banana shake. The 2 strawberry cheesecake was sour, spoiled or something. The banana milkshake was to runny.

Was charged 36 dollars for 2 ranch wraps and 3 trays when it should have only been 24 or 25 dollars. Employees are either unintelligent or pocketing the cash thats over in the till. Either way Ill be back tommorrow with my receipts to get my 10 dollars back. Got 2 receipts with 2 different totals in the bag like they knew what they were doing when they took more.

Was extremely busy for a Sat night (long car line), so we walked up to order. The staff was very courteous and helpful, took our large order for 7 and everything was just as ordered. Would highly recommend this Cook Out if you are passing through like we were.

The food is always good, but tonight my order was incorrect and I was double charged. The manager, Myra, apologized and corrected the order and made sure I was satisfied. I’m giving them 5 stars due to the manager’s customer service, taking the time to get my order correct and taking care of my refund.

The service is very nice and the food is delicious we got our food in no time. The mic for the drive through at most cook outs you can barely hear what the person is saying but the mic at this place is better than most places. There where plenty of room in the drive through, it wasnt too crowded or anything probably because the service was so good.

My partner and I went around or after midnight. The line went by quickly. Staff was friendly. They did forget the chicken on the quesadilla, but my food hit the spot.

Cook out has continued to disappoint with food quality and quantity continuing to dry up. But it is 1 of 3 late night spots so they are always packed in rockhill after 9.

Customer service is not something they offer. Food was ok. We ordered 4 meals with Cajun fries and only 1 of them had Cajun fries. Thanks for that. I have one in our family who is gluten free and ordered her burger with no bun, yep, you guessed it, came on a bun.

0 stars. Had no food hardly. Not hotdogs no quesadilla no wraps. Had 4 corn dogs left but they forgot to give me one or they ran out. Ordered chicken sandwich got a burger. Waited over 30 minutes in line. Workers having a good time inside.

Stay away unless you want to be overcharged and ripped off every time you go. Price is never the same, sometimes even differing up to 5 dollars more than what it should be. One portion of fries being spread out to count as two because they didnt drop enough... oh and you can never seem to give me a receipt with details on it. Just the total and nothing elseYou people are crooks

My first time visiting cook out. The burger was good and the milkshake, but the fries and onion rings were cold.

My food is always fresh and hot and exactly how I ordered it. From the last time was here I went 2 nights ago and my husbands order was wrong twice in the same visit

There was an African American woman with a braided weave bun at the window. She was extremely rude. When I pulled up to the window, she did not even say hello or turn her head towards me and held my drink out of the window and I was unable to reach it so I had to verbally tell her that I could not reach the drink. Then she held her hand out for payment, still without turning her head. She then flung my bag out of the window and held her finger up as if I were a child until my payment processed and basically flung my card at me. She represented that location absolutely horribly and she needs to be terminated. If this is how she treats customers, I’m surprised this location is still open for business. I will never come back to this location. She is the perfect example of a terrible and unprofessional employee. As a manager, I would fire her on the spot for her beyond poor customer service.

I went to cookout 11:30 pm on aFriday night.. The food was great but very sloppy you can tell they rush putting our food together

Not the best place to go for a meal, but when its late and youre tired and the place you youd rather have gone to is closed.... this is the last resort. The people are so freakin rude. The prices are good but service sucks.

If you see a full drive thru line do not pull in.I understand being short staffed due to the current economy.There’s no excuse for people to sit in your parking lot, trapped by concrete with no way out, and a staff member to come on the intercom after sitting in front of the menu for 30 minutes to ask me “Are you ready?”It sounds like not only did the majority of the employees leave, but only the dumbest ones stayed.

This place is horrible. The workers are rude and the Manager isn’t much better. I went to the drive through and the girl had an attitude taking the order then slammed the window as I was talking. I will not be going back. Spend your money at place that appreciates it.

Me and my partner usually love coming here, the food is always good and so is the service. Tonight it was different, we sat at the speaker for 3 minutes before someone took our order...after our order was placed we went to the window the girl in a CHS jacket looks to be a high-schooler wasnt the most pleasant. Our food was unbelievably okay..like just okay, both of our trays werent really good. For $17 I expected more. I use to love this location..its went down hill wont be back for awhile. Edit: I came back tonight and got the same thing I normally do, they forgot my chicken in my quesadilla and forgot a whole quesadilla. I got a tray of 2 and only got one and didnt even get chicken in it. I tried to give this place another chance and Im left disappointed. $17 down the drain again. do not come here night shift is WACK

Both lines at the drive-through were full but the fries tasted like they were A-day old. You would think with that many people going through the drive-through the fries would be fresh!

So I usually love going to this location after work at night, but last night i was rushed and my order was taken wrong..I ordered a chicken quesadilla tray with cheddar bites and cajun fries, and i didn’t receive the correct sides at all. Also the girl who took my order had a really bad attitude, and when i wanted to ask for sauce…She closed the window in my face. Not the first time this has happened either. Very disappointed and I don’t know if i’ll be back any time soon.

Super close to hotels off of 77. Quick service despite being busy, and window workers were very friendly. The tray is a decent amount of food for less than $7. Menu is a little overwhelming because of all of the choices, but that means there is something for everyone!

Always a solid spot. Good for a midnight run. Ranch wrap reigns supreme

Listen! Im from NYC and Im proud to say that one of the first places I go when I visit the South is Cook Out! The food is freshly cooked and delicious! Dont let long lines intimidate you. The food and the value are always worth the wait! My favorites are the hot dogs, hush puppies, and a huge tea! Yes Lawd 🙌🏾 lol 😂

Really nice staff. The food was really good. Wide variety of flavors to make a milkshake. The Oreo one was tasty and the wait time wasnt long at all. Very enjoyable first visit and I would definitely recommend trying lunch here when visiting the area.

Got there early, few people in line. Food still outstanding. I loved the Cajun grilled chicken and onion rings. The slaw was pretty good also, the prices are also insanely great for the quality. The char flavor on the proteins are the reason I return! Oh yeah take a milkshake to go!

OMG where to start! Cheap, good and fast, what more could you ask for? I came here all the time in college and it still doesnt disappoint when I come and visit. Much better quality over other fast food chains.
