I decided to book this bar for my 30th birthday party, as it has a lovely setting and a great selection of drinks. The conditions for booking were also pretty good: 200€, and free if the guests rack up over 800€ in drinks.However, the process of booking the bar was already a hassle: I had to go there physically twice in order to make sure that the bar was in fact booked for the date I had asked for, as I was not getting any answers to my emails or calls.Now, I had invited 40-50 guests, and some friends were going to DJ, so there was going to be some noise. The manager told me there had been issues with the neighbours previously, but that they would install a decibelmeter and that so long as I stayed below the legal limits (103 dbit was fine.Nevertheless, when I got to the bar on the day of the party, the staff had not been warned that there was anything going on that evening. There was also no decibelmeter, and at about 11.30 the staff turned down the volume of the sound system so low that the music could barely be heard if the guests were talking at the same time. As you can imagine, this pretty much killed the party and I had to move my guests elsewhere.In conclusion, I was really disappointed: this could be a great place for this kind of event, but the management was terrible.

No more patio, replaced by a veranda, which is a pity to my point of view! I missed the cheese or vegan board on the menu. Finally, there is still a nice selection of beers to try.

Its good. The waiters are French so you wont have to put up with the usual terrible Belgian service. They are actually nice to you!

Bartender was kind of upset and not too friendly. The beer was ok and location is a bit noisy and uncomfortable seats. Otherwise, its your regular bar in Brussels

Staff is really nice, great beer selection, really pretty spot with exposed brick and wysteria on the walls - right in the middle of Fernando Cocx. Loving it during the summer!

A little bit far from the metro but worth of trying. The tab beers are unique. Kimd staffs, English-speaking. If you order a cup of beer, they gave nuts as a service :)

The food was great but the service just awful.We waited 40 minutes before we even got to order (drinks included). It took another 30 minutes before the food arrived (only waffles from the brunch menuand then they mixed up the dishes with those from another table - twice! Afterwards they even accidentally charged us one dish extra, although they corrected their mistake without issue.This might have simply been very bad luck on our part to catch the new guys and girls at work or something. However, even if that was the case there should have been someone present to bring at least a semblance of order into the chaos!

Went there to have brunch, but didnt have the chance eat or drink anything. The service was so slow that after 45 minutes they didnt even take our order, and they would ignore me at the counter when I was trying to ask to at least get us drinks first.I left with an empty stomach.

Good ambiance. A lot of places. Limited tap beers but a lot of bottles beers. Must go!

I was here for a birthday party, and its one of the best places in Brussels for such an event. Theres plenty of room, with distinct chambers, so its possible to get some peace and quiet, while the party rages on in the next room. Their selection of beers is great, and they seem to have pretty delicious food on menu (we only got some cheese boards, but those were excellent, and the bread served was lovely too). Because they kitchen was out of food, they allowed us to get takeaway pizza, which was quite nice of them. The staff is very helpful and friendly. And theres a big jug of water with lemon and lime slices always available for guests, for free. That was a nice touch.

Really nice place for a drink in Ixelles. The staff was super friendly, the prices are affordable and there is a good selection of both beer and wines. The outdoor terrace makes for an extremely nice place to sit on a nice day – gets a bit of sun but sheltered from the wind. Didn’t get a chance to sample any of the food but in looking at everything that came to neighboring tables the charcutier boards looked very tasty. The area itself offers a number of nice places to grab a drink so you can very easily get at drink here and sample a few interesting places in a row.

Went in here twice on a four day trip. Really good selection of beers and the staff were really helpful letting us try a few on draught despite the language barrier.Food selection was limited to tapas but what we did have was delicious.Reasonably priced - would definitely recommend a trip.

We had a little drink there after our wedding and even if I asked super close to the day, the owner was really friendly and willing to help. It made things so much easier for us, from the bottom of our hearts thank you !

One of my favorite spots in Brussels! Great selection of beers and super friendly staff, at all times. It can be a little crowded when its cold outside, cause they close the back patio. But thats also because this is a locals favorite! Highly recommend it!

I usually come here for drinks, but heard the food is also good. They have a nice selection of beers and the space is really cozy. They have a nice backyard, perfect for sunny days.

Went the first time for drinks, took 1,5 hour and 5 reminders for an order of fries to arrive- in the end what arrived was polenta..On sunday there is obligatory overpriced brunch (25 euros the formule or 14-19 the dishes which are of course eggs and other simple things). At 13:00 they had only 2 tables and everything else empty, but they did not let us sit for a coffee, as the brunch is absolument obligatory.

Good selection of quirky beers with interior courtyard. Good for coeliacs with three Gluten free beers, including the excellent Brunehaut which is mild and in bottles. Great knowledgeable staff with good English for those of us who may not be so brilliant at the local language.

Nice place, great choice of beers. The staff seems passionate, as we werent sure what to choose, they gave us 2 small glasses to try different beers before ordering. It was in the late afternoon so they didnt have the extended menu, but still they have some food, and even some vegan choice. Definitely recommend.

Very great place for a brunch, a lunch or even just a snack. The menu changes regularly as the cook adapts to the fresh products and vegetables she has. Everything is organic and homemade. Salty waffles, omelettes, croque-monsieur, brownies... they are veggie friendly and you have gluten-free and lactose free options. You can even drink cheap yet tasty beers. Have a sip or a bite there!!

Very nice cozy bar with a very good variety of beer. The food is very nice as well although a little pricey in my opinion. The terrace in the back is very nice and sheltered from the wind, cant wait for the sun to pop out and to spend a warm summer evening there.

The place and service are great, friendly and their products are a great choice on beers and bio products. Casual ambiance, with a nice mix of people, coming back for sure.

Really rude waitresses, supposedly closes at 01 but decided to close early 23:45 although they still had customers.Walked 30 mins to get there just for the staff to send me away...worst manners ever even in tomorrow land weekend 1 they rather close early than serve customers

I come here often. The music is great and the indoor garden perfect for summer nights. :Oh, and the beer selection satisfies any whimsical spirit!

Only one beer on tap was avaialable, but an extensive bottle offers from small local & regional progressive breweries was fantastic. Open late & serves food, charcuterie & cheese boards & soup.
