We had a really exciting time visiting Hobart again for Dark Mofo . During the day we wandered around the dock and relaxed . Fish and chips yummy 😋 and ice cream nom nom .highly recommended.

Went to toilet you have to use the bloody card its everywhere in town thats what the people down wharf said that sucks cant believe that I dont now about the public toilets

Lovely views, eateries and booths to book tours. It is the final location for yachts from the Sydney to Hobart race. There are also a number of local boats and yachts that you can cruise on.

Why no gas heaters. We MUST realize Hobart in summer, at night, is usually COLD!

Nice to have a walk and relax along the Hobart waterfront. Good selection of fish and chip stores as well as other unique attractions. Lots of boats docked and wonderful during the sunset.

Visited a few years back and is a beautiful and scenic place. Awesome food and great people. Would never get tired of this place as it’s so fresh and welcoming.

What a lovely place to visit. I was surprised that there isn’t more historical information regarding the dock. As you walk around there are several informational posts which explain the original buildings etc. we grabbed some fish and chips and sat and watched the boats and all the people wandering around the city from the markets and dark MOFO festival.

It is what it is. Hobarts waterfront and fishing precinct. It really comes to life during the Sydney to Hobart yacht race. Plenty of options for food catering to any budget.

When in Hobart Constitution Dock is one of the "must see" locations. Nestled along the waters edge, it gives a glimpse of Hobarts roots with its old wharf and convict era architecture. With a multitude of restaurant and floating "punts" all tastes are catered for.Walking south you will find the Brook St Pier, home to the MONA ferry along with a number of other tourism based enterprises and restaurants. Keep moving and you will reach the famous Salamanca precinct. Home of Tasmanian artists and the fabled Salamanca market (every Saturday of the year)

A lot of intersting boats in the dock. The museum part was good.

One of my favourite places in Hobart to relax, enjoy some fish and chips and just soak up the atmosphere. A great place to chill!

Sunrise at the constitution dock is a must do for any nature lover who wants the perfect sunrise experience! We stayed at battery point so it was a short walk down to the dock and damn was it magical as the first rays of the sun beam over the mountains and across the water onto the Hobart waterfront ❤️

Great place to wander around and look at the historic ships.

Its possibly the only dock near Hobart CBD. Good place to hang out. But, there isnt much happening here for visitors to consider it a must-see destination.

Main waterfront of Hobart City. Pleasant place to stroll around looking at boats n ships. Parking readily available too. Mures restaurant is overrated but I usually buy Flathead fish n chips from Flippers.

Sydney to Hobart yatch race finishes at Constitution Dock. Parking is a nightmare.

This was an awesome place and a must, the seafood was yummy.

Probably the most beautiful place I have ever visited. Be prepared for some hiking if you want to see the sights. The pictures were taken after one of the shortest hikes of about 25 minutes round trip.

Some construction & roadwork around the area. Rather quiet with not many people around. Easy to find metered parking. Nice walk around the dock. Flippers had great fish & chips.

Great place for a stroll or just to watch the river and boats. Parking can be expensive, so best to walk about here and take in the atmosphere. Great cafes around too!

Absolutely lovely strolling around here! We bought some hot chippies with gravy and enjoyed watching the cheeky seagulls and spotting starfish in the water! Im from Queensland but cant wait to go back again!

Do you know why its called Constitution Dock Bridge? Because its just a bridge...at Constitution Dock. There are no great mysteries here, and no real cool attraction, so keep it movin folks!

Hobart and surrounds are well worth a visit. So much to see and do. Restaurants and seafood are 2nd to none. We stayed at the Grand Chancellor hotel right opposite the marina. From here you can walk to the Salamanca Markets, great shopping and gardens right in the centre of Hobart. At the restaurants directly opposite the hotel you can dine on the freshest local Tasmanian seafood and have the most wonderful breakfasts by the water. It was here I snapped the photo of the seal as he came to the surface with the fish in its mouth. Just a beautiful city

I found it very fascinating to observe this turntable bridge in action when a fishing vessel needed to be allowed through. Not something I have personally seen before, and the surrounding area with seafood restaurants and art galleries is lovely too.

Great area to stay at when visiting Hobart. Easy walking distance into the city and a quick stroll down to Salamanca. Fish and chips on the wharf are bit pricey but it’s nice to sit on the benches provided to enjoy the view and eat them al fresco.Stayed at the lovely Henry Jones Art Hotel.
