Conrad New York Downtown in Manhattan

The rooms were nice and spacious. Most of the staff provided excellent customer service and were very helpful. We were in walking distance of the 9/11 Memorial, a shopping mall, restaurants and bars. The rooftop bar was also a nice touch with excellent customer service.

I stayed in the hotel from July 31 to Aug 12. On Aug 19, there are suddenly additional charge of $143.5 posted on my credit card. I have contacted back the hotel since I reviewed all expenses and agreed to pay the amount on bill when I checked out. The director of front desk named Adam Graf replied: “the charge is valid and will remain on your folio. You did utilize the laundry service and responsible for the payment of transaction. You did utilize the service and charge will remain. “ He didn’t show any concern or compassion for the client. In fact, the hotel not only charged me additional amount for laundry, but added back another 40 dollar charge that they agreed to deduct in bill for me when I checked out. It is quite disappointing for such luxury hotel and for having unprofessional manager. I never experienced hotel who randomly debit my credit card after a week I checked out. It is not the amount which I have even agreed to pay. I lost my total trust in this hotel.

A gorgeous but empty spectacle filled with staff who either look like they don’t want to be there, or will straight give you attitude just because.But here’s the thing: if I wanted a Motel 6 experience, I’d pay a Motel 6 price.At $400-500, I don’t want just the nice room. I expect quality room service. Breakfast that shouldn’t take an hour to deliver. Noise complaints that are timely addressed. Lobby restroom stalls that at least look clean. Waiters who actually speak to you and pour your coffee.This place was an absolute disaster.Two stars because of the nice suite, which was very tastefully appointed with high quality decor and furniture.But the staff who fill the large beautiful space somehow make it feel more empty and more soulless.

Amazing stay at the beautiful Conrad! Had a lovely adult getaway for 4 days! One night solo, and the others my husband joined me.This hotel is gorgeous and located in a quiet area of town. It was so peaceful (compared to other areas in NYC where we normally stay). Enjoyed the water views from our room and people watching. Plus the shopping nearby was great! Brookfield place was a short walk and just a little further was the Oculus.It was a short walk to the ferry and there was tons of waterfront dining.The welcome was great and the front desk gentleman easily combined the additional night that I had booked (for a solo staywith the other nights so I could stay in the same room. He also recommended some great restaurants.The hotel was clean and had a great aesthetic. So much great design and details that made the stay even more memorable. Really liked the water filter in room.The twice daily room service was a pleasant surprise and makes me reconsider booking any other Hilton properties and just sticking to Conrad Properties. I really liked the turn down service!Let me tell you about the shower. It. Was. Amazing. The waterfall shower head had amazing pressure! I took several showers a day because it was that good! The robe was soft and great to lounge in with the slippers. I really had the best time with all the lovely extras. I definitely felt pampered! Only wish there was an onsite spa!Another bonus of the room was a huge full length mirror! It was great for selfies and outfit checks!Also had $50 daily credit that we used at the onsite restaurant. So friendly and great service! Plus the food was delicious! Great dessert - specifically the chocolate mousse dome!Checked out the rooftop bar but didn’t stay very long. It was a little too breezy and chilly for me and we wanted some dessert so we went and got another chocolate dome!Although we normally stay in midtown, I would definitely stay here again over other options. It was so pleasant to be in a quiet area of the city. It really is a hidden gem! Can’t wait to come back! I’m already looking at dates to visit again!!

I booked a Deluxe suite room on Sep 9th using my Hilton honors points. It was my first day in NYC with my sister.The overall experience was good but I still dont know why they gave us a disabled room, though I didnt request it.The room was definitely helpful for disabled people, but not for us. They were actually uncomfortable. Unfortunately, we realized the water had flooded when we take a shower. The floor was completely wet. We needed to finish everything in a short time.Is this because we booked using points? or we are young Asian girls who dont know anything and will never claim about this?At least you should explain it before you assign this room. We even arrived at the hotel around 1 PM, so no excuse that there was no room remaining.My sister talked about this issue when we checked out and they said they will compensate as Hilton points but nothing happened so far.This luxurious 5-star hotel was disappointing.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------They compensated me as Hilton credits right after I wrote this review.

From the dramatic entrances that greet you upon arrival to the well-appointed hallways and suites, there wasnt a detail that was overlooked at this Conrad location. This was my first stay at a Conrad property, but it wont be my last.Our time at the Conrad was also top notch from the bell staff to the front desk, restaurant, and room service staff - attitudes were fantastic and everyone went above and beyond to be helpful. This experience was worlds different from our stay the previous weekend at the Kimpton Eventi and definitely is swaying me to look toward the Hilton portfolio for better stays in the future.I want to say a special thank you so much to Doris in guest services for the recommendations and planning of my recent trip. We offered some things we wanted to do and asked for recommendations for others. The schedule Doris put together encompassed all we wanted and more. Everything flowed smooth as could be and we had a great time doing everything. The definite highlight was a recommendation for Buddha Bar. Out of this world food and drink paired with top notch service.Richie at the front desk was incredibly friendly and made some recommendations of his own along with working diligently to ensure we had our room in time to change clothes midday for different excursions.Solomon at the bell desk was extremely happy to help upon arrival. He treated us with care like I was arriving home to visit family I hadnt seen for a while. While we dropped our bags off before some morning activities, he was extremely gracious when we had to ask to see them twice to retrieve items we forgot. His service was top notch.

The hotel is in a convenient location and will have one of the largest / pleasant space given that FiDi has less of a space constraint that most uptown / midtown hotels will have. I had a few pleasant interactions with hotel employees, but had a few frustrations as well.1. The lady who checked me in said I would get a text message once the room was ready, and that I would could respond to the text with my luggage ticket so that it could be brought to the room before I arrive. I never got a text, worried so called and was told that the room was still not ready after 3, and returned in the evening because I wasn’t sure if the room was ready, only to be told that “you only get a text if the room is ready before 3PM”. If that is the case, then the employees need to be trained consistently to have and share the correct information.2. The lady at check out did not share my receipt before hitting “pay + check out” button on her screen. I’ve never been to hotels where you do not first check your bill before you pay. I asked for the receipt and she was very annoyed that I wanted to see and check the receipt. I think it is, and should be a standard protocol for people to know what they are paying.3. Biggest issue - bell desk. There was no one to help me to the reception when I arrived, and even at check out I waited for 10 minutes for anyone to come and store my bag. I think they have a general shortage of bell desk staff in a very large hotel which I can understand / is easy to fix, but I was really disappointed by the way that the check out reception staff remained incredibly aloof to the situation of 4 people being in line at the bell desk for 10 minutes even when asking them for help. They just kept telling us to wait and had no show of empathy or urgency, which is very disappointing for a 5 stat hotel like this.

Great rooms, large and comfy. Could sleep 6 if needed. Great location, especially for walking. Attentive service. Turn down was the best. They brought ice!!! Water was a little too hot in the bath/shower.

This hotel is like a giant spa! Décor, very tasteful. Loads of amenities. Close to a high end mall, and the in-dining menu, although not overly robust, is delicious. This will be my go-to in the future.

Great view of the river, nice location, large clean modern room with separate seating area, and a big comfortable bed. The hotels staff was very accommodating. Would definitely recommend staying there.

Love! My favorite place to stay in NY. Perfect for families. Our kids love the playground and scooting by the river. The ice cream truck always comes by. El vz is across the street. Water pressure is amazing!! Staff is so nice! The lobby smells so good and I once lost my wallet and didnt retrace my steps for a whole month and they kept it safe for me. Great ppl! Great place!

First of all, I am very upset that I am writing a negative review, because I’ve stayed at many Hilton properties and have never had any issues as bad as at this Conrad. Second, we are Diamond members and we expected much better treatment than we received here. Our flight was changed and arrived earlier than expected. We informed the hotel in advance, and they said they would do the best they could to accommodate. We get to the hotel early in the morning, and we’re told there is a vacant room that will be available once the cleaning staff arrives within the next hour. One hour goes by, then two, then FIVE hours before one of their worst rooms becomes available. We had to incessantly request updates from the front desk, even though they originally told us it would be about one to two hours at most before a room opened up. They offered to bring up our bags as a courtesy, which we appreciated if they did so quickly because we were in a hurry to shower and get on with our day. They said that the bags would be up right behind us. Thirty minutes later, we still didn’t have our bags. I had to go back down to the bell desk and request our bags myself. Turns out, the concierge never gave our claim ticket to the bell desk; he threw the ticket in the trash. We would not have gotten our bags EVER if I hadn’t gone back down to the desk. This hotel has not lived up to its reputation, and it definitely has not honored our Hilton loyalty. We will NOT be coming back. I’m glad to see from previous reviews that others have had great experiences, but we clearly have been treated like trash from the moment we arrived at this hotel. Incompetent and careless are just two words that I would use to describe the staff at this hotel.

reserved for 5 days at room 1525. The location is good but the service is below average for sure. I ordered food from outside but the staff kept losing them twice and the door man even hung up on me. I came to the front desk to complaint but surprisingly received some bonus credits. Not what I expected earlier but at least appreciate the altitude but unfortunately I would not recommend it to others.

The hotel is very well decorated and “fresh” so this is definitely something worth recommending for. Big, well designed and equipped rooms. Pricey but good. For me the “concierge” service was rather confusing (got 2 different answersbut other than that very good stay.

Wow!! Stay here now...the rooms are incredibly large for NYC. Every room is a suite with a huge living room, incredible bath area and large bedroom. The service is absolutely impeccable as well. Honestly...the second a request is made, someone is there at your room within 5 min. The staff is lovely, the waterfront is wonderful, and the beds are so so comfy. The robes...ahhhh, Im buying one. Just stay. Dont think twice. The price is reasonable and get some Hilton points too.

I would give this hotel a 10 for good customer service. Angelique, the customer service representative did an outstanding job at making it right to a disappointed customer. We booked this hotel for our 10th wedding anniversary celebration. Lets just say that the romantic package plus what my husband has requested did not go as planned because the room was partially ready when we have arrived and the surprise was ruined. Angelique made it up right to us. The room was prepared as planned while we were out for dinner and the romance package was given to us for free. I was happy enough when I got back from dinner to see the surprise, that "the before" was already forgotten. Thanks!

Very nice hotel well furnished, clean, helpful staff, and accommodating amenities. I just wished my room wasnt facing another building! I understand it is New York, but I was a little bummed. Luckily, I got my room change to one with a great view. Overall pleasant stay.

Still Great.Our August trip to the hotel was our first return in three years and the property is still extremely well run and maintained. The recent modern renovations also help.The best kept secrets of this property are the top shelf room service and the showers. The mattresses are getting a little worn and sagging in a bit on the sides, otherwise a five star hotel.Best location in the city.

The place was nice and clean and house keeping did a great job. The best part was the help I got from Michael Remo. It was my girlfriends birthday and he went above and beyond. Upon arrival he had a nice surprise set up in the room for her which she really loved. I he also recommended a few nice restaurants that we did go to and they were great. Thank you very much Mr. Remo!!! You made the stay amazing.

My husband and I got married here 3 years ago in May, and I know this review is way overdue, but I think Conrad deserves it. LeighAnne was amazing to work with. Although my husband and I were a bit sad that we didn’t get to have a single bite of our delicious wedding meal and we still wonder till this day how delicious it would have been (Some of my friends were surprised by this as they told me other hotels usually leave dishes for bride and groom in their hotel room if we weren’t able to eat it and we stayed at one of the expensive hotel suites the day before the wedding and the day of; also, I felt really bad for my husband who couldn’t even make it to the tasting because he was in another state at that time so he never got to eat a single bite of food from Conrad), this thing does not take away from the best experience I had in my life because I’m sure my life would have been way miserable if I had worked with an unprofessional or uncooperative wedding venue. I went back and forth with the hotel literally million times to ask questions and adjust plans because I am a bit of a perfectionist like that, but I had the best 5 star experience. No one ever gave me a single frown for making changes and asking so many questions.. I loved this place so much that I even did my bridal shower party here. I thought of even doing my gender reveal/baby shower party here but figured my friends would think I’m too obsessed with Conrad haha. Every time I think of Conrad or pass by, it just brings back the joyful and beautiful moments I had with my husband and my friends/family that I will cherish it forever. It was a total dream come true moment. It wasn’t cheap, but it was all well worth it. I am proud to say that I am a Conrad Bride :P.S. Even seeing all these positive reviews makes me so proud. Keep up the excellent work!!

I had an awesome experience at hotel Hilton Conrad downtown. Overall, its the staff which made my 5 nights stay awesome by ironing out all the issues or concerns when reported. The hotel is chic and modern, staff is great and try to go above and beyond (multiple experience during my 5 nights stay). Public transportations is also very convenient at this location (buses and ferry at approx. doorsteps! while subway and PATH trains at convenient walking distance away). I am a Hilton Diamond member and am aware of my benefits but still this hotel exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended.

I came into the city for the weekend. It was for a birthday. Doris Fong was the best. She was able to provide complimentary balloons and print out a few things for me prior to arrival. She also included a dessert (a very nice surprise!).

I would have given The Conrad 5 stars, but I inadvertently left my blue blazer and a linen shirt in the bedroom closet and returned the same day and theycould not locate them. They did not interview the cleaning person who wouldhave been in the room after I departed. They also did not contact me and Ihad to report again when time had passed and made it more unlikely that theitems could be found. Not quite a luxury hotel but it does rate as a very nice hotel and one I would expect to have better recourse for locating items left left at the hotel or in rooms.

We stayed here a few years ago for Mothers Day weekend (before Covidand loved it! Super convenient to go to Statue of Liberty and Ellis island. And near plenty of other things as well. Highly recommend!

Our stay at the Conrad New York Downtown was excellent. The staff was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. They helped us get the most of our trip to Manhattan. The room was clean, quiet, comfortable and luxurious. We enjoyed the close proximity to the World Trade Center, various points of interest and multiple transit systems (bus, subway, ferry).

Excellent stay! Early check-in, upgrade to corner executive suite, outstanding service and great views. Rooms are huge for Manhattan, well-appointed, and have a minimalistic Japanese aesthetic that I really liked. My son and husband loved playing baseball at the Battery Park ball fields across the street. Lots of good restaurants nearby and we were able to catch the 4th of July fireworks from Battery Park.

Conrad is amazing. The place feels so relaxing in such a busy City. We traveled with our kids (10 and 5for both work and personal -- and it was such a nice and relaxing place to rest when we came back to the hotel. Above and beyond service - everyone from check in to room service to bell/concierge were super helpful. We travel quite a bit and come to NY often, hands down our new favorite spot to come back to now. First stay at the Conrad and we are officially hooked. Thank you for making us feel at home and relaxed in a City and time when stress is pretty much everywhere.

We have stayed here a few times the past several Decembers and it has quickly become one of our favorite NYC hotels. The rooms are HUGE, mansionesque by NYC standards. Separate living area, luxurious bathrooms and a separate sleeping area with good closet space. The service has always been fantastic. The lobby bar is a great place for a night cap or breakfast. The location is obviously not the most perfect location, but it is quieter without being TOO quiet with enough bars and restaurants around even in the weekend evenings. Also, youre close to the Hudson river - great walking path and some nice views and similarly close to the trade center with subways that will get you anywhere you need to go. Cant recommend this enough - especially for families!

Probably the best stay I have had at a NY hotel ever! This property is not only beautiful, the rooms are superb, roomy and quiet. Ammenities throughout the hotel are first class and staff is great. I will definitely be back this made my trip in the best ever.

Stayed here for half a week for a business trip. They were wonderful and very accommodating to my early check-in, even though a conference was headed out that day. Many hotels seem to of had some issues with rebounding from the pandemic, but the Conrad was clean and the turndown was prompt and quick each day. The rooms are wonderful. The area is quiet for being downtown.Going back in a couple of months for an actual vacation stay, hoping for the same experience.

I would say this is one of my favorite hotel in NYC. I had tried many hotels with different locations and this one was the best! Hudson River is right next to it. You can have a morning exercise inside the park (with wonderful viewsand consume your little one’s energy in a great playground downstairs. Many restaurants and must visit places are in walk distance. I am pretty happy with its location and its spacious room as well. The suite is much larger than I expected and it can easily fit 3-4. Bonus: you can purchase Byredo products with surprisingly low price. 😍

We had a great stay here at the Conrad Downtown. They went out of their way to make my wifes birthday special with a little treat. The service was impeccable. The room was well sized, well designed and generally great. My only fault of the room was the lack of a bath, which for a longer stay, for me, would have been a real issue, but great for a weekend in the city and would be great for work.The location is great, and worked very well for our plans for that weekend. Sadly we were out too long to try the rooftop bar.The breakfast was not good, the sausages were cold, as were the potatoes, and one of my eggs was broken, felt like the presentation was there but the food was from a buffet that had been sitting out a while. Given it was a Conrad I did expect a few more options (no Benedict or many interesting options at alland much better quality, and if you do not have a good/beverage credit and you did have time I would recommend finding somewhere a bit cheaper with a wider selection elsewhere in the city.At checkout, the person helping was very apologetic about the breakfast and did their best to make things right, which brought this place back up to 5 stars (although I would still not recommend the breakfast at all).

I typically stay elsewhere in NY (Beekmanbut given my last minute booking only this Conrad was available. The room is great - suite like and great bath amenities. Zero view from rooms however. What this place falls short in though is the extremely rude when I had an issue with my digital key not working. The on duty manager attitude was appealing and interrogative. Will not stay here again.

We visited New York in December and decided to stay in The Conrad. The hotel is in a great located positioned at the north end of Times Square. The door staff were great and very helpful, checking in was simple, we booked a suite which was worth it as most New York standard rooms tend to be smaller. We had drinks and food in the restaurant, the restaurant was very modern with European food. We also had use of the chauffeur driven hotel car, this came in very handy. An excellent hotel, big celebrity hangout, completely faultless!

We had an excellent stay here. The rooms are well-appointed and the staff is friendly and outgoing. They are attentive to all of the details which make for an exceptional stay. Id want to especially thank Darwin, who worked the front desk, for going above and beyond several times during our stay. He was exceedingly personable and even called over to their sister property in order to make sure our room was ready. The staff here was nothing short of amazing. Thank you!

This hotel is spectacular!!! Its nestled downtown in the Battery section of New York. Our beautiful room overlooked the Hudson. Our room was clean, spacious, and was modern day chic!! The shower is huge and is very nice, the sitting area was awesome and had a very nice wet bar. The customer service is top level, as everyone we came in contact with, was friendly and professional. The art deco in the hotel is eye candy. I cant wait to return, and I highly recommend!!

What a great experience from start to finish. Very pleasant front desk staff. Room service priced the same as at the restaurant encouraged us to treat ourselves and take advantage of the fantastic view from the River View room.Very spacious and well thought out rooms.We will definitely be back again!

This is a beautiful, comfortable, professional hotel and my experience could not have been better. The digital key and in room filtered water system were awesome perks. The shower in my room was heaven. I will always stay here when I come to NYC.

Wow, what I can say? From the moment we booked to the moment we checked out, the experience was a 10 plus. We were upgraded to a beautiful room overlooking the Hudson. The Concierge, Angelique and Mikey were amazing. They treated us like family and royalty at the same time. Kudos to both! After a long day of travel from the West Coast we were tired and went to the Atrio for a late evening snack and a drink. Daniel and JC the bar tenders were amazing. Super friendly, great service and so attentive! The Manager Norman was truly the best! Norman greeted us each time we dined at Atrio and even comped us a few times. He was incredibly friendly, fun, professional and went above and beyond servicing the clients. You can tell his team is super happy because of him. He made our stay extra special with his 10 star service. We enjoyed getting to know him during our stay and he is just a pleasure! Everyone at the Conrad was ultra professional and kind from the bell desk to reception to the Food and Beverage and Housecleaning. The rooms were impeccable. I would stay again and again and cannot wait to return. If you are planning a trip to NY, do yourself a favor and stay here. I wouldnt stay anywhere else after our experience there. Simply the BEST!!!!! I wish I could give this hotel 100 stars as they deserve it. It is all about the people!!!!

Conrad Downtown is worth the price tag. Gorgeous rooms (many with Hudson River Viewsand impeccable setting. Atrio was better than most hotel restaurants but you are not starved for options in the area. Love that Regal cinemas is in the same building. Enjoyed the shopping right next door. And a great option for people visiting the City for the first time who want to walk to the Ground Zero Memorial. Loved my entire stay!!

So pleased with my stay at the Conrad Downtown! The level of attention that was provided from the employees was exceptional! Front Desk and the bell men were very friendly and accomodating to our needs. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was of high quality with splendid service from the waitstaff. Truly a 5 star hotel! Overall, if you are looking to escape the busyness of the city without having to leave the city, this is where youd want to be. Lots of shops near by, frequent free shuttle, and an amazing view of New Jersey is all available to you here!Looking forward to our next visit at this location!

My fiance and I went to New York to have a short getaway. We had reservations for the standard king room at the Conrad from April 8-10 of 2022. We like staying in great hotels and eating at great restaurants. The Conrad exceeded every expectation that we had. The excellent service started with the Valet service and continued up until we departed. The room was well worth the money. I would highly recommend. We will definitely without a doubt be staying here again. The shower was separate from the toilet and sink. The pressure of the water in the shower was fantastic so much in that I got lost in time while showering. Valet parking for 2 days was only $65 which was well below what we were expecting to pay, so another excellent aspect of staying there. Had a living room, privacy doors in the living room and bedroom. Full stock mini bar, water filtration system, safe, touch everything.

Wonderful stay!! Place is beautiful, location is perfect for families needing more space than standard room. The staff is exceptional, everyone we encountered was friendly and courteous, especially to a precious 5 yo.Doris was very sweet and accommodating. She went above and beyond helping us celebrate a birthday and wedding anniversary. Next time we are in the city, we are booking there again!
