Liona and the rest of the staff were all very nice, helpful and efficient! We got in and out very quickly and had great drinks and good food before our Roxy Music concert at Chase Center!

Came here before a show at Bottom of the Hill to kill some time. Best decision we made while visiting San Fran. Loved the energy - had a dash of a hometown bar. Awesome bartenders too. Wed move to SF just for this bar. Thank you.

If you want a Yankee or experience go the the racist joint. Clearly they don’t appreciate people of color . I stood and watched the racial indifference as I waited to be served. I kindly refused one server as she thought she was doing me a favor to take my order. I opted for another who appeared to have some African American blood only to be jointly snicked at with the first server.rude and foul all the way around. The name fits. Black people avoid.

Cool dive bar and was ready to watch a home game with some friends here but unfortunately the staff was rude.We had asked them to put the game on on the small TV that was playing a baseball game nobody was watching but they would not change it. I understand that they are a Patriots bar but one of the bartenders proceeded to tell us “we can’t put the game on, you can bring your own laptop though”. ?? What a joke.

The burgers are beyond the typical bar food. Friendly environment.

We came in for lunch. It was fine. Nice, friendly service. Ok food. Looks like a great bar for after work and nights. Musta have been a real blue collar locale back in the day.

Harassed us when we showed up with Warriors swag claiming that this is a Celtics bar and we are not welcomed. If you have a problem with Warriors, leave San Francisco and go back home.

Salt and vinegar fries are amazing! Their menu is generally pretty good but they used to have a really solid vegan option that would rotate seasonally - I would love it if theyd bring something back. But the beer and mixed drinks are always good, and the atmosphere is the best.

Amazing dive bar! If you’re looking for a fancy dining experience, go somewhere else. If you just want a good tasting burger, with chicken tenders, and a beer while watching the game, toy found your spot! This great unassuming bar has a rowdy indoors, a chill patio with a screen to watch the game, and friendly staff that was surprisingly able to handle the crowd of an NBA final. Beware, this is very much a New England bar. If it’s basketball, wear green, baseball, go with red, and if it’s football you’re watching, get ready to cheers for the Pats!

Classic sports bar hangout. As a CT native, warms my heart going here. Lots of New England sports memorabilia on walls, including Hartford Whalers bumper sticker.

Great food and drink! The patio is lovely and they are very sensitive/knowledgeable of gluten free requirements. Bartenders all haber GREAT secret cocktails... Ask for a recommendation!

A venerable establishment! The Yankee has been around for the longest time and great to see that it is still around. They have a great outdoor seating area. The inside is also spacious. If you have a large group, you can find space. Their food is also good too! Love their shot and beers specials!

Cool local place with great tasting food a big portions. Ton of screens to watch games and a open air patio out the back. Solid selections of beers on tap and in bottles.

I went here to watch a 49ers game with high hopes and was disappointed. My hamburger fell apart constantly and the guy who served me initially wasnt even familiar with the beers or their prices he charged me $10 for a drink that was only eight. It wasnt really that crowded but it took quite a while for them to come around a couple of times unfortunately I dont want to go back. I think they have a management problem.

Outstanding Tap beer selections. Not to mention the year round heated patio with 2 screens and the Parklet with added screens in good weather. So if you like burgers, chicken etc and bountiful salads this is your place. Hoping staff stay well during CV19 to avoid closures.If any Boston teams in play offs or Yankees in WS, U will be elbo to elbo! Be ready to sing “Sweet Caroline”

Fun little sports bar with a pool table. New England fandom. Good deals on beers+shots. Friendly staff - played Metallica over the speakers for those of us heading to the concert!

This a neighborhood hangout with both a full bar and a kitchen. The quality of food is good and the prices are to the upper side of the moderate scale. Service was quick and attentive.

We showed up here for drinks and ended up watching the soccer final. Very busy. We ended up finding seating outside. Mimosas only $3. Food looked decent but we ate prior to arriving. The lady, Naya, was attentive, silly, and made sure we were enjoying ourselves. It was my first time going, but Id go back.

I had a burger fries and some drinks here with a friend, everyone was super nice and friendly, The food was great, The beer was cold, and everybody had a super wonderful attitude.I absolutely recommend that everyone go here, theyre super happy to be open and are treating everybody like family in my opinion, I plan to go back every time Im in town!Dont forget to tip well :-)

Stopped in for a little nosh and drink, great old building, theres was a classic old phone just inside the door and lots of great ambiance inside. Seating was outdoor booths, very decent amount of space. Very generous portions on the fries ordered, and a good selection of draft beers.

Great bar in the middle of the city perfect for hanging with pals and coworkers after a long day in the office. Food is on par and the staff excellent. It can a little packed but the staff is great in keeping tabs (pun intendedon all the customers and making sure everyone is being served. What I love about this place the most is it almost has that small town bar feel, which is nice when you live in the city.

Not really a sports fan, but went here with my parents to watch the semi-finals for the Packers vs the 49ers. This was the third sports bar that we attempted after the first two were so loud that it hurt to be inside. The beer list was pretty good and the sound from the commentators was loud enough to hear but not so loud that you couldnt have a conversation. They had a nice outdoor area and we were able to find seating even though it was halfway through the game. I would definitely come back if I wanted to watch another game.

Hidden gem, this place has really amazing food. Had lunch with 4 coworkers here and everyone got something different and everyone really enjoyed their meal. They also have a fantastic selection of local beer on tap and their drink specialties are great. Can walk here from Chase too! Definitely worth checking out.

Cool little bar with pub food and a good beer selection. There’s lots of cool relics on the walls to look at, mostly sports related. Staff was helpful and prompt. Food portions were small but I had 3 pints and 3 whiskeys to fill up on so it worked out in the end.

Terrible service, waited a long time to order once said order drinks we never got them served to us. Went to the bar to order and the bartender realized he had had my drinks sitting there for a while. Definitely a bar that favors the regulars, youll feel out of place is youre not. Cuban sandwich was good, fries too salty. Beer selection is fair.

Staff is friendly, food is delicious, great beer selection... vibe is that of a nice dive sports bar - this bar is a Boston bar, so if you want to watch a game with some New England faithful, you will def enjoy. I did, and will def be back!

One of the best burgers in San Fran. & I usually hate any white starch especially white potatoes or french fries, but there malt vinegar fries are amazing. I wish they offered them in sweet potato fries. Staff is solid and relaxed definitely has that neighborhood bar vibe.

Food was pretty good. Service was painfully slow, but the server was nice--until we wanted to split the bill. She insisted that we would have needed to tell her ahead of time. Fine, we spent 15 minutes figuring out who owed what. It was annoying and felt very behind the times.The salt and vinegar fries are a little soggy.

Great bar in an otherwise pretty quiet area of SF. Spacious interior and pretty big outdoor porch as well. Staff is friendly and funny. Good set of craft brews on tap. Food is better than your average bar fare, I recommend the buffalo wings and the Korean burger. Great neighborhood bar to watch a game, do a post work happy hour, or catch up with friends.

Awesome burger at an affordable price. Korean Burger was cool, back patio was chill, and the service was great. The outside looks a little dated, but if that throws you off, then youre probably not suited to be exploring SF. Go here, eat, drink, and I promise youll feel better.

Great rotation of beers on draft. Service is friendly. My favorite is the Malt Vinegar French Fries! They are amazing if you like salt & vinegar potato chips. Havent seen these anywhere else.

Delicious! Super delicious. Very friendly and helpful if new to the business. Food and service is amazing. Definitely a must try if in the area. Will not disappoint. Their tri tip sandwich with the crispy rings and both sauces is amazing! Baby back ribs fall off the bone. And must try the black cherry cola

Great place to explore as it has a long history! Great service. Had clam chowder, chicken wings, half tuna sandwich and a delicious cold beer! Their walls have a story to tell. They also have sports, sports, sports on! Love it! It has a neighborhood vibe to it.

If you are searching for a classic pub ambiance with well-priced beer and plenty of seating within view of a sports game then look no further. Yes the floors may not be the cleanest and its always kind of dim inside, but it wears these details with pride. Food is generally limited to species of sandwich but the quality is good, especially after a beer or two.
