Good place to stay, tasty breakfast and friendly stuff.

The hotel building has style. I am used to see more small things for guests (shower gel, vanity set,...in the same price level hotels.Hotel has quite good wellness area, but does not work properly with it (sauna - cold, later better - no advice how to operate the temperature, no towels or bedsheets... - there were at least 6 people to check the situation and not coming back, during my two hour visit).The hotel staff is very professional and friendly.Breakfast is very good (many things, even local danish things).

Exceeded expectations!*I highly recommend & will most definitely be back*I was in the area to visit my Great Uncles, Verner Panton, exhibition at Trapholt Art Museum and Comwell Kolding was the most reasonably priced hotel available with a delicious breakfast included...The staff were welcoming and always helpful. The hotel itself has a beautiful interior and it was a pleasure to see so many pieces of art & furniture from some great designers. When I enquired about the art they offered a list with all the details. Great service.It was easy to book in for dinner and breakfast and the food was exceptional! Fresh, flavourful, lots of choice and clearly a very talented chef team.The pool & sauna/steam room were clean, easily accessible and a great place for a morning swim and relax in the evening.Comwell sells itself as a conference hotel but there was such a lovely mix of people there and the atmosphere was civilised, relaxed and hospitable to all.The attention to detail was appreciated. Such like the 2-4-1 welcome drink, eco toiletries, the reception shop & how clean and tidy the whole hotel was.Thank you Comwell Kolding team

There is absolute no sensor of service. They keep you waiting in front of an nearly complete empty diningroom to tell that you cant get in because all is booked. In the bar where you can eat without reservation it is exactly the same again. Waiting, empty bar, no places. If you complain, they shruk and tell you they cant do anything about it. Walking downtown for a meal and a warm welcome in a simple italian restaurant much beter than the coldhearted people at the terrible Comwell. Never coming back.

The room was ok, bed was ok but nothing out of the ordinary.The first person we met was the night porter and he was someone who made the whole place really welcoming!Breakfast was ok, and good parking. Was also good for charging the car.

The reciptionist was really courteous and polite. Offered us a breakfast 2go since we had to leave early.

Very good hotel. Walking distance to city Center. Nice room. Breakfast was top. Service on the highest of scales. Recommended.

Was very cold in the room, the restaurant was closed because of Julefrokost, no room service because of the same reason, no other restaurant in reasonable walking distance. So when I said I might have some drinks with dinner and would not be able to drive, I was told we can walk. Of course thats not always an option, the weather is not the best this time of year. They dont specify the fitness gym is not on site but quite far away, no robes for the pool, you have to pay extra for the slippers, there were no towels in the pool area. So if you plan a relaxing evening, with a nice dinner and some pool fun, maybe go for another place.

I was there during the latest conference in November. I was lucky enough to have one of the most exceptional dinners I had during my stay in Denmark. Thank you for the hosting!

Ideal for conference. large modern room was very clean. Conference IT worked perfect.

Perfect scandinavian style, large hotel. Cool rooms and extra clean. Breakfast out of heaven. I ll be back. G

Good breakfast, but avoid if 20c during night outside, as no AC. Has electric 11kw free charging and free parking.

No places for diner, receptionist did not take the time to wait for test results ( irritatingly and annoying and this for a 4star hotel ?????

The beds are of very bad quality, no air conditioning in the room and the cleaning is superficial - that’s the worst (see picture)Reception staff is exceptional though

Comfy and relaxing, clean rooms, superb service, swimming pool with sauna and a continental breakfast with everything youll need for a good start in the day.Parking space is provided directly in front of the hotel.

This is a really nice hotel which try to offer a lot.Rest asure that our stay was plesent, and that I also intend the return, but many small things are not working 100%There are "only" small issues, but they are everywere. Cleaning staff prefers to speak english, but does not understand it.One of 6 bartenders/waiters seemed competent, the rest, I guess, was trainees. Not working efficient, dosent manage to remove trash and clear out tables seems to be the standard.Kitchen serves serano ham along with the plastic in which it was wrapped. Nothing wrong with the salmon though.....Pool area was, due to Corona, limited to 12 people, but more people in this pool under other circumstances would be quite enough.Read everything above in comparrison against other larger hotel chains, and be sure to choose this hotel, if the price suits you.We chose Comwell Kolding due to the included dinner, and the fact that our 1st choice at the moment did not open their restaurant yet.But I will return again, only with slightly lower expectations

Excellent conference rooms with everything you need for your meeting. Both service and the food are top quality.

The pool and sauna is nice to chill out after work. I got a new room with everything youll expect. Staff is very kind and patient. Check in/out was done quick.The salt for breakfast was a bit too coarse, but thats it! :D(Stayed for only one night without visiting the restaurant)

Very good food, ok rooms (missing a mini bar), however service is well below average. We had to wait for eternity to get someone to serve us and when it came it was of very low quality.

I was ill and I asked for a water heating flask in my room. They denied and said its only available for business suites. Really bad customer service.

Hotel very fine looking, lovely staff, rooms very spacey, simple and ultra comfortable, just like the bathroom was too. Electricity plugs are not the same as others in Scandinavia or Europe but not the hotels fault even though they could have had adapters. Fan made it lovely to sleep with cool air :highly recommend.

Nice cozy hotel, with big rooms. The breakfast is really good with biological choices and lots of fruit.The restaurant has a great menu for dinner or lunch. I havent visited the pool though it is almost the same as shown in the pictures. The only thing that would have been more convenient is to have a small fridge in the room for cold water.

Rooms where okay for the price but the bathroom was small and dated. Arrived at night dinner was a weird 3 course meal i didn‘t know what i was eating. Also had to order drinks seperately even had to pay for water.

Comwell Kolding is definitely one of the better Comwell’s we have visited. The staff at the front desk went above and beyond with helping us settling in and making sure we got a reservation at the restaurant in the evening.The restaurant was brilliant and the food and service was so good.The pool is actually quite big and is adjacent to the front hall in its separate department.

Very nice and hospitable. Clean rooms with plenty of space. The staff was friendly but sometimes it feld a bit like mass production with little personal consideration (e.g. diet prefrences). In that regard i liked the smaller Comwell in Roskilde a bit better.

A good place for conferences. But they got bad bathrooms and beds. I have been to the place twice and I got back pain twice. Beds werent comfortable. Cakes are very tasty.

Really nice and cozy hotel... only issue not AC in the rrom but weather is not so bad you could sleep with the window open or use the fan.

4* hotel!!!!!!!!! No its not. They gave it a face lift but its still not a 4*.Everything looks ok and comfortable, the staff is very professional.But bar services could be better, and theres alcohol beverages variety is small, the food is ok, nothing special and not worth the price.. also the quantity on the plate is ridiculous small and presentation bad, you get the idea for me there kitchen is a want to be fancy gourmet imitation.Over priced...The room was ok but at a 2* level, there was no mini bar and the toilet really small, they did not even had air conditioning, and in the room was a white plastic fan to circulate the air.Ok it was a cheap room but for a supposed 4* hotel this is unacceptable,..Breakfast was poor, again trying to look fancy, bad continental, whit only 2 types of cold cuts and cheap scramble eggs, and pancakes out of a package... again ok but 4* NEVER

Great accommodations and you feel very welcome. Everything was pretty much perfect, and will definitely recommend having conferences at Comwell Kolding.

Great hotel for overnight stay, sitting above Kolding city. Cosy comfortable room and a really excellent restaurant with knowledgeable and friendly staff. The breakfast buffet was awesome, too.

I spent one week in Kolding for business. The hotel was excellent. Large and confortable room, nice restaurant, friendly and helpful staff. The relax area with teas and infusion was a daily appointment after work as well as the wellness center. Recommended!

Not enough parking spaces or proper signs to other parking facilities. I was at a lecture and had a hard time seeing the stage even as a tall guy.

Very comfy beds and clean rooms. The interior swimming pool and the sauna were great treats! The buffet breakfast had a lot to choose from, and very tasty. Quite expensive overall, though.

The facilities for the main conferenceroom was good. But the workshop facilities were too small, and the lunch seatings were very confusing. The selection of the buffet was very limited.
