Comptoir Darna in Marrakech

Fun show (only once at 10 pm when we wentfood was great, and the atmosphere was very cool. It was fairly expensive by Moroccan standards however.

I took my sister here for her 18th birthday celebration. The food surpassed all my expectations. We had the slow steamed lamb platter for two. It was probably the best lamb Ive ever had... Literally fell off the bone.We arrived for 8:45pm on a Friday night, which was the perfect time. The restaurant was already buzzing with people on arrival. We had roughly 90 minutes to enjoy our drinks & meal... And then the entertainment started at around 10pm. After the dancers had finished their show, we ordered a shisha to the table. We enjoyed the shisha, but I wouldnt recommend the Love 66 flavour because its quite tasteless (despite sounding nice on the menu).The service was brilliant and attentive - they topped up our wine frequently and the drinks/food arrived in a timely manner. The staff sang happy birthday to my sister & she was gifted a beautiful rose & a special dessert.Overall I would highly recommend Comptoir Darna as a place to visit if youre staying in Marrakech.

This is the perfect place to enjoy an evening out while watching some great belly dancing and listening to some authentic North African music. Highly recommend!

A great place for food and entertainment. We made a reservation at 845pm so we can eat and then enjoy the dances that start at 1000pm. The dancers were "mild" so you need not worry about them forcefully pulling you up to dance together and take photos. Give tips if you do so though. Our lamb shoulder for 2 were great. Attentive staff. Price is fair for such a place.

Nice place for dinner at night. Show time is not enough being only half an hour. Need to be extended. I was surprised to find out that they serve shisha which was added value. The Moroccan food was as usual.

Definitely felt like a tourist restaurant and it was beyond packed. The hotel messed up our reservation but the restaurant still sat us very quickly. Food is good plus you get a belly dance show for entertainment

AmaZing top to bottom. Super sexy and chic, open late, super classy and amazing food and service. Not to mention the live music entertainment was excellent. HIGHLY recommend. Couldn’t find another venue that compares. Also very international and lovely staff and bar. The food presentation is excellent.

Over priced, 70 diram for a bottle of water that is 6 outside? You get the idea. The dancers, the staff, all looked unhappy and indifferent. Food is salty and mediocre. Does not live to the fame at all. Save yourself from a nightmare and spend your money elsewhere.

Surpassed expectations. Visually stunning, beautiful decor, great ambiance and attentive service. However, the most surprising aspect was the standard of food which was exceptional. The cooking, flavours and presentation would easily be considered Michelin standard. The live entertainment was fun and jovial. Would highly recommend and definitely visit again.

This place is LITTT…food, cocktails, wine and entertainment. I think we spent about 2 hours here. It was such a vibe. Go in the night around 9 pm if you want to see the belly dancing.

My husband and I had an excellent experience at Comptoir. We walked 25 min from where we were staying near the Medina and got to see more of the nighttime beauty of Marrakech. We were greeted by very welcoming hosts and we were immediately enamored by the interior. It was absolutely gorgeous inside. We had delicious lamb and chicken tajine, as well as lobster ravioli. 10/10. Later in the night, we got to see the belly dancing show and live band - it was so fun and interactive. They also gave us a dessert to celebrate our 30th birthdays! Definitely a highlight of our trip to Marrakech!

Poor Service, team absolutely not professional. Having us waiting for 45min to then tell us to eat in a place with no air conditioning, did not even look clean place. Cherry on the cake they had 4 different people coming to us telling us rainbow stories to explain why the table was still not ready all in French so pitty Arabic people being embarrassed to speak their mother tongue in their own country. Do not recommend at all. So many better restaurants in Marrakech!!!!!

I was in morrocco for my birthday and we went for dinner. The Resturant is really great and staff are friendly and welcoming. Plus you are entertained while eating your food with belly dancers, drummers and a singer. Ambiance is A+, the garden is breathtaking and so is the terrace. You can stay for drinks and shisha after your meal.However, the lighting is really dim and we couldnt really see our food while eating but I think thats the style in morrocco as nearly all the restuarnts had dim lighting in the night. Also there isnt alot of vegan or vegetarian choices( only vegtable tagineas one of my friends is vegan and the website said there would be vegan, vegetarian options but there were noneIt is also on the pricey side as it is a fine dining restuarnt.

We had a reservation for 7PM, we were 10 minutes earlier but were not allowed to enter. A bit ridiculous as they could have easily brought us to the bar for a drink instead of letting us wait in the scorching heat. Once it was 7PM we STILL could not enter and I got pretty impatient and told the guy Im not going to stand in the heat any longer, at least let us in, in the shade. We were then let in, but then they said the table wasnt ready yet so they brought us to the bar.It took us over half an hour until we were brought to our table and to our ashtonishment we were escorted to a table on the upstairs level. So I asked what the difference was, she said the upstairs area was a smoker area. She didnt bother to ask if we are smokers or maybe I am pregnant, or if we even mind sitting in a smokers area. The bar man even said in Arabic are you going to put them here?? and looked a bit surprised.Other than that the belly dance show was great, the food as well and our waitress was the kindest. But the hostess definitely could learn some proper etiquette when it comes to dealing with clients.

Its kinda my favorite lounge bar every time I go to Marrakesh. I normally dont order food in such places because I know its expensive, but a drink or a juice is always fine for me as long as I enjoy the vibe of the place at night. My foreign friends and I once had a great conversation with Mr Khalid, the DJ. He was a nice respectful man . I dont know whether he is still working there or not.

very good atmosphere resturant combined with bar and bar .shows good music.fair value for monet.good food.but very hot air-condition is worsevery hot.so until fixing air-conditioned condition recommend not to go there

Great place visited five years ago and then again last night! Atmosphere is great, entertainment is great, music and food are wonderful! Warm welcome from door staff on arrival. Great service by all the staff.One thing to improve to help customers no beers on menu just wine, spirits and cocktails! I only found out later in night as I see another customer with a beer.The cocktail I had mango-tango was weak tasting like mocktail but I would liked this swapped. Very minor thing as thank you for the birthday cake for the wife and great night 5 stars all the way.

Very good experience in Comptoir Darna. We where a 6 people crew and had a A+ service .We would deffinitely come back . The music and service and the Bellydancers is really pleasing .+ Food quality+ Service+ Wine+ Music and Dancer+ Smoker lounge (terrace inside the buidling)

Right from when you walk in you are invited by a red carpet to the front door, dimly lit room with amazingingly decorated dining area. Food was that of fine dining, lamb was mouth watering, duck was perfect and the beef just melted in your mouth. We got ourselves a few cocktails and each had their own little bit of presentation to go with (great for Instagram). Then at 10 we had a belly dancing show with a live band following which were amazing and get the atmosphere of the place to a fun party vibe (everyone got up from their tables and danced a bit). DJ playing beats the whole time we were there had a fun Arabic playlist with deep bass tones which I was constantly Shazamming. Definitely recommend this place to others, in fact I have already recommended to other tourists already.

Im italian and im very demanding about the food. Here was excellent, we ate the lamb shoulder and the bones came away as they were in butter. The meat was excellent and so the vegetables with it. The food experience (menùalso was very good. The price is good for the quality of the food and especially for the show inside the restaurant. There was also music and singer very good. The only flaw was the light, the place was almost in the dark but nothing that can bother you. Very nice.

Super vibey place with top live acts on the second floor and a pumping sound system. Feels like you’re in a film! Beautiful people, friendly service and big, beautiful, sexy energy.Drinks are average, food is solid. Loved the lamb tagine with plum and almonds. Melted off the bone. And the Moroccan 7 salads also presented with pinache.Definitely a fun night out. Dancing on tables. Lots of joy and boho-luxe decor. Reminded me of a night out in Lebanon.

Great food , service and entertainment. Best to book dinner at 9PM since the belly dancing show starts at 10.

I like the place and the ambiance. We did not reserve and they offered a terrace, it was even better for dinner. For the food we went for the menu and it was excellent Moroccan food. The wine was also good. The only thing I would recommend to serve a wine in real big wine glasses. After the dinner we went up to the bar and it was cool as well. Fully recommended

Nice place to entertain yourself with alcohol, good food, and beautiful belly dancers. The dance starts at 10ish so make sure you take your time to eat. You can tip the dancer by putting bills in their bra, prepare some changes if you feel like doing so. Love their Ravioli and couscous. Service is good too.

Great shows, the food is amazing. But the queue is a bit long on most days and its hard to find a table.I would definitely recommend if you want to get a taste of Moroccan food and music.

A must if you go to Morocco.Very easily booked a table through the website and received a quick confirmation.The staff were very kind and looked after us well, even though the place was packed out.At 22:00 the show began. It was a smaller show than we expected but great nonetheless.We had lots of warm bread, but do not fill yourself up on this as the mains are still to come.Do try the lobster ravioli if you visit!

It’s average. Ok. Alright. Service is really slow, you have to get their attention for everything. Dessert didn’t even arrive. You spend most of the evening with empty drinks as it’s too hard to get more ordered and they take ages to arrive. Food average, you wouldn’t come here for the food. The dancing was fun, they get people up to join in which is funny, my wife tried balancing a candelabra on her head. On the whole I’d say don’t bother.

Lovely experience, should be a must for everyone visiting Marrakesh! The food and cocktails were good with lots of taste. The staff very attentive and the belly dancers talented and enthusiastic. It’s advised to book beforehand.

Exceeded our expectations. Probably the best meal we had in Marrakech. Also it’s timed perfectly so your meal ends with an epic show. The show was surprisingly good whereas other places we went it felt awkward. Really enjoyed the live music while dining as well. Delicious food and a reasonable price.

This place was a delight. The ambiance is breath taking and original, the service impeccable, and the food delicious. There I drank the best cocktails that I have experienced in marrakech so far and a wonderful show of talented belly dancers and candle dancers kicked off later in the evening.The live music was also quite amazing.I definitely look forward to going back for another class and elegant experience.

Nice place to go and take friends to showcase some traditional moroccan culture. The lamb leg is a nice serving of lamb that feed 3-4 for about $50 usd, so if you want to enjoy a shared meal thats the one. most of the other menu items however draw from Italian or Asian influence, but the flavors are good and on point. Crispy duck was very tasty and so was the house cocktail. They bring in house belly dancers to dining room periodically which is a unique amazing experience!

Just fantastic.The set menu is 400 dirham, circa £35 - which is probably a bit dear for Marrakesh bearing in mind one place we ate at was 35 dirham for a tagine. however, this is DEFINITELY worth your money.You’ll have a very memorable night here. You’ll love the food and you’ll love the entertainment.One final word is to the staff and service - given its pretty dark and quite loud, the staff were fantastic at getting the orders right, serving quickly and efficiently and were very friendly.

Our experience was amazing! They put on a really good show. The food was absolutely delicious! It was our 8th day in Morocco and the vegetarian tagine (Berber taginewas the best so far! Everything we ordered was just perfect. The staff is remarkably attentive as well. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Marrakech.

I loved the place. The vibe and ambiance were amazing.The stuff, in particular our person Chorole were awesome. She was super attentive and recommend some great dishes.We loved the lamb shoulder. The portion is also huge so you can share it with 2 or more people.The salad starter came with various small plates and each had their own taste. The lobster gyozo was my favourite. Cooked to perfection and great taste.We recommend this place 10/10!

Me and my boyfriend was having the most amazing experince at Comptoir darna - Marrakech.We ordered a menu with starters, main meal and dessert, everything was extra ordinary and the service by Sana and the rest of the crew was on point.We are both vegetarian and there was no problem finding food that we could eat.I would recommend this place for everyone that seeks a traditional Moroccan restaurant but with a twist.

Well If i can give more than 5 stars i would be delighted to do somethingfabulous atmosphere, amazing decorations, customer service is beyond fantastic. Salim has looked after us and other ladies that I didnt get their names but everyone from reception to bathroom. Gastronomy is very delicious and fine.One of my favourite spots in marrakech and will definitely come back again and again.
