Nice find. Put this on your to do list
Beautiful! Extremely steep, rough terrain. Not dog friendly or friendly to those with knee or hip problems. Our dog was injured falling down the steep incline. Please dont bring your dog and use good judgement before attempting the climb up.🤕
Beautiful place to go see
Hard to follow the correct trail. Got lost multiple times but it was so worth it at the end. Great views and really rewarding
This was really cool the hike to the caves was awesome. And the formations are so cool to look at. We liked everything g about this cool little find!!
its a haul to get up there. physically and mentally prepare yourself!
Hard to find, but beautiful while looking for it.
Not a beginners trail, rough walking, mountain goat trail!
A bit steep at times with loose rock but definitely an awesome hike, kids loved it
Hard to find the trail, and a bit treacherous , but a fun hike!
Very tough trail! We did it with 3 toddlers and a dog, so not impossible, but did take time. There are points you will be on all 4s climbing up
Worth the walk! Incline was steep at times to have youngsters due to the loose rock, but that only adds to the adventure. Everyone enjoyed the hike and views when we reached the falls.
Beautiful. Not for small children.
A very short hike with an excellent finish!!!! Short , steep and really rocky trail, so not an easy path but worth it in my opinion.
This trail is a lot of fun. Its short but very steep to get to the top, but the views are well worth the effort. There is a seasonal waterfall and trail to the top the provides a great view of the canyon. Youll have to cross the creek so be prepared, but there are logs you can walk across to avoid most of the water. The trail is somewhat difficult to follow, but if you stick to the trickling water coming down the mountain youll be fine.
Great hike to the cave, went in the winter so it was a bit icy. Be prepared with some good boots and possibly cleats. The view from the cave with the waterfall in front is well worth it though!
If you can make the climb up the steep trail , its beautiful views
Beautiful place.
Pretty area, but kinda hard to find the trail to follow.
Hard to find, no trail markers. Not for novice hikers, more of a mountain climb. Great adventure
Nice short hike with a nice reward at the end.
Secluded and beautiful place to visit.
Beautiful place, metal detected around the creek for a minute but unfortunately didnt find anything.. Looking forward to hiking through here more in a couple of weeks!
This is a great late-winter ice trek after there have been several freeze/thaws. Be prepared for an icy trail - ice cleats are recommended, especially for the final ascent to the caves. Warm, water, and tear resistant clothing also recommended in case you do some sliding. Expect to find some water as you get closer to the caves depending on the temperature for the day.
Lots of uphill walking. From where you park, the trail starts on the other side of the road. There is a trail on the same side but not the one you want! Id wear hiking boots, lots of loose rock. I was sliding a bit.
Caves are pretty neat however trail is very difficult. Sliding Ricks with very steep grade
It is a short hike, and the caves are cool to see. It is pretty much uphill most of the way and rocky. Because of the rain the night before and above average rainfall, it was pretty slippery in places. Worth it, however, to see the caves.
Hard to find. No markings on the road. Just followed a trail and hoped for the best. Found it and it was beautiful.
Good luck finding it
Great hike, but its easy to take the wrong trail. Youre on the right trail if theres a stream flowing beside the trail (and sometimes on the trailand lots of loose rock.
Very rewarding scenic trail. I personally found some fallen trees to get across the creek but if the level was lower it would be easy to cross on rocks without getting wet. The trail can be tough to spot but you end up in a gulch NE of the parking spot.
Very cool trail. Crossing the river is a challenge. The trail is quite steep. I was in all fours for a part of it. I would not recommend for children under 10.
