Enjoyed a wonderful reunion with family. Have been a big fan of Colombo Wine and Pizzas for some time now. There were 16 of us for lunch on Sunday and a great time was had by all. Accommodating, friendly service, great pizzas, and fabulous wine. What more could you ask for? Beaton/Greet Family

Our best winery visit in Martinborough! It was relaxed and friendly, with superb wives and the best pizza weve had in New Zealand. You can get a wine flight to try small amounts of four different wines. Thank you! Highly recommended.

Amazing hospitality. There is no wine tasting here, you have to buy "red" and "white flights" and they give you info on the wines on a laminated A4 list. Pizzas were also great. 👌🏼

A great spot for a vineyard tasting flight and a grazing platter on the sun. The pinot gris and pinot noir are good wines in the range.Pizzas and platters on the menu. The wood fired pizzas are delish. Fun for a couple or book tables for your birthday weekend away.

Organised a full day out bike riding and visiting different wineries and our stop off to have lunch was at Colombo, there was 12 of Ur so picking a place I hoped everyone would like was difficult but I picked Colombo and everyone love it, the pizza was perfect! I often come to Colombo and its delicious everytime I come.

We booked a table for lunch online (which was very easy). And cycled here from our accommodation (which was also duper easy). We were seated outside in the vineyard by the outdoor drinks cart. We ordered woodfired pizza which was perfect and came out pretty quickly. and had a wine tasting tray (4 winesand sat there enjoying life. Awesome spot for lunch, will definitely be back and might bring our dog (as there were quite a few people with their well behaved doggies)

Third time weve done tastings or had lunch at Colombo. Their Syrah is in my view the best in the Wairarapa.If you want an authentic, thin base Italian style pizza, then Colombo is the place to go. The dough is made to a traditional recipe and theres a broad range of delicious toppings. Absolute perfection. For those wanting other fare, they do delicious platters to share as well.As always, service is top notch. If youre visiting Martinborough, a visit to Colombo is a must.

Absolutely amazing winery. We loved our time here - the staff were wonderful. The Pinot noir was the crowd favourite. So nice to see dogs being allowed outside on beautiful days. Fave vineyard in Martinborough

Amazing Pizzas some of the best i have had in New Zealand. There wine is pretty bloody amazing as well. But the icing on the cake for our visit was the staff were fantastic. Friendly, fast and knowledgeable. Well done Colombo probably my favorite place in Martinborough for lunch

A really great experience here. Fast and delicious wood fire pizzas. Found the flight tastings to be hearty pours - 1x tasting glass was probably equivalent to a standard 1/2 glass. Not sure if this is specific to Colombos offering or the Martinborough way! Comfortable space both indoor and outdoor with blankets available if cold. Its pretty kid friendly with some games available for big and small kids alike!

Our go-to when in town. Delicious pizza, quality wine, and a gorgeous setting to enjoy it all in. Family friendly with nice high chairs, sunscreen and hats for those sunny days

So good we came back a second time. Go for the pizza with the mushrooms. Amazing. The Syrah wine was really good too.

Very relaxed environment, amazing pizzas and the most lovely owners you can get. Nicola and Thomas are amazing hosts and create a beautiful get away for every visitor. If you want to experience a special evening join then for their No Menu night or the bit more exclusive Italian Dinner. Both happening once a month. Great live music guarantees an unforgettable evening.

Such a nice and relaxing place to be, sit amongst the vines, enjoy a glass of wine and a delicious authentic Italian Pizza. Plan ahead for the monthly no menu night or Italian get away to make sure you can experience it all. Love this place by far my favorite winery in Martinborough.

Colombo is our favourite vineyard in Martinborough. The vibe is amazing here, super relaxed with friendly staff and very family friendly. Hands down, the best pizza I’ve ever had and their Pinot is epic! We lay on our bean bags on an extremely busy day and were so impressed with the service they provided. We will be back!

The best pizzas, great environment to chill out after a long cycle. Service was fantastic and pizzas excellent. Choice of indoors, outdoors on the deck or lying on a cushion in the sun!

8 of us booked for lunch on Saturday. Great outdoor area with plenty of umbrellas for shade and bean bags for a quick snooze in the sun. Pizzas were so good, and a great selection to choose from. The place was very busy so service staff were under the pump at bit which not surprisingly did slow things up a bit.

Drove down to Martinborough, I had a great afternoon at Colombo, tasty pizza and great wine. It was relaxing and happy.

Pizza, wine and chat. Colombo delivered a fantastic party experience.We were (sans kidsfor a friends birthday. The venue is cozy, obviously put together with love and attention. The staff were fun and accommodating. The pizza oven out back worked hard - I do have questions about the potato pizza topping 🤣. And the good wine never stopped flowing.Cannot recommend highly enough as a venue and Im looking forward to coming back to the cellar door.

The monthly No Menu Night at Colombo Martinborough was fun and well worth attending!Tasty Italian fare and good wine, a warm, lively ambience for our large group (with an excellent musician entertaining us too!meant we really enjoyed it.Well worth doing..Get there early for the best seats!

Colombo is one of the best places in Martinborough to relax and enjoy a glass (or twoof their very delicious Chardonnay! The pizza, handmade by two Italian chefs and baked in a proper pizza oven, is a real asset. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended!

Wine was really good! However went for lunch too, was told kitchen was backed up and to come back and order pizzas in 15 minutes, returned post queuing for another 20 minutes and was told "oh, we cant give you pizza as we have two bookings coming in later and wed have none left" have no issue with the fact that theyd run out more the wasting of our time and the rudeness of which it was conveyed

Colombo was the second place we went to, and this was by far my favourite tasting experience. We were asked if we wanted to go into a separate private room, and ended up having our tasting in a beautiful room with a wall full of wines and a beautiful wooden table in the middle of the room. The staff were very knowledge and friendly and we honestly went away learning a lot about the wine process and felt very informed. Cant wait to come back here for the food as it looked delicious as well.

Fantastic friendly owners. Syrah was absolutely delicious. Their rose also seemed very popular. $10 for their red and white wine tastings. Very comfortable settings for a couple of lazy hours 🙄
