Great coffee. I had pancakes small portiom compared to the price of them. Felt crammed sitting in there. I imagine this would be a fantastic spot in warmer weather when you can make the most of the outside seating.

Great coffee and food, friendly and very warm welcome. However, if I’ve just spent nearly £9 on food and drink, I don’t expect to have to go back to the till to collect my coffee. This necessitates me picking up my belongings. Bad idea. Gail’s next time I’m afraid.

Great variety of bagels, wraps, etc. And coffee.... just awesome! The best place for my lunch!

Best coffee in Summertown and a pleasant place to spend an afternoon. presume it is artisan or something so expect that kind of price range. The staff is friendly and serve well. It has a little store that offers interesting food items. The coffee never disappoints.

We stayed across the street at the Easyhotel, for a week and came here for coffee every morning. Hotel guests get a 10% discount. The staff were always friendly and the coffee consistently good.

This is our regular place, and I think its the nest in Summertown. The coffee is delicious!

Best coffee in Summertown; skip the chains and head to the northernmost corner and enjoy the brew. Ample outdoor seating and nice to hear the staff speaking Spanish, with some nice Latin American treats for the local touch.

What a wonderful place to have in your neighbourhood! Great coffee, plus bagels, wine, ice cream, cake , fresh veg , loads of outdoor seating.. . It reminded me of somewhere id find in wine country California. Lovely.

This place has become my go-to morning coffee spot. The pastries are wonderful, the coffee is light-years ahead of my conference coffee, and the portion sizes are just right. The staff is also very nice and helpful when it comes to understanding the different menu options.

Coffee is good but staff can be rather direct and, at times, rude. Have been coming here for many years but unfortunately these problems are happening more and more frequently.

Third wrong order in as many visits and unapologetic staff (not all of them: some are great!). So different from when the company launched in the town centre. Shame.

Excellent coffee (the dirty chai was sublime). Cakes could be better and are overpriced. Lacking vegan lunch options, sometimes there are none. Customer service has been varied but mostly quite poor on the several occasions Ive visited, as others have commented on

Simply the best coffee in Summertown

Felt strong enough to revisit my previous review.....unfortunately its (Summertowngone downhill. Although still popular, today at least was very disappointing.Got a refund on my Chai after the first two attempts were sub standard. My partners coffee was fine (as usualwe even bought another pack of their gentlemens relish however, the banana bread with yoghurt & fruit, now is bread and apple as opposed to previous purchases which included mixed berries and nuts. And to boot, the staff dont seem to give a stuff anymore.Great coffee, Good Bagels average. Seating is somewhat uncomfortable, maybe they just dont want you to stay too long.

I asked for vegetarian empanadas but received chicken one. And the barista didn’t say sorry for his mistake. Won’t come here ever again.

Excellent coffee - I got an oat milk cappuccino and can say that it was, without a doubt, the best coffee I have had in the UK. The price is comparable to nearby alternatives and I will certainly be back for another drink.On the flip side, the almond croissant was a let down and ended up in the bin after a few bites. It had insufficient filling, if any, and all flavour was overpowered by excessive icing sugar on top. I will stick to just the drinks next time.

Went with a friend this morning. He had mint tea, which he said was excellent and made from chopped mint leaves. I had coffee, which was great. Highly recommend.

The staff is sooo sweet, showed me the WiFi passwords personally and brought out each item to my table.

My favourite coffee shop in Oxford!!! The coffee quality is top notch :you can taste the coffee even in caffe latte and it is just exceptional taste. Red honey is my favourite but their limited editions are fantastic as well. Their lunch deal of sandwich, fruit and ice cream deal is fantastic too!Their various brewing techniques make me so happy and always enjoy trying different methods :Japanese syphon is really smooth and really great for sharing as well. I love the care that goes into each cups and other items in the shop is really good as well. Focaccia was phenomenal and their hot chocolate is a must try :)I have not tried the pizza yet but would love to try them in the future :it would be interesting to see if the sandwiches can be made warmer and the coffee beans prices are steep for students so having some discounted coffee beans per month could be nice since I cannot buy them every month due to high price. It will also be lovely if we can bring back the coffee bags for refill so that we can get some discounts this way. Highly recommend and will be back very sooon!!

I have to say that I agree with virtually all the comments regarding the poor customer service here. Even though I think the coffee is amazing, Im not going to pay for someone to treat me badly. It totally goes against the entire experience. I hope management gets the idea. Some sincere training from the head down might help.

Found this place by chance, because I happened to book a place nearby. You know I liked it, because, at the time of writing, Ive been there 3 times. On the first time, I had my coffee to go, but its worth to sit and enjoy each sip. On the second time, I tried a nice V60 filter coffee sitting down. On the third time, I went all the way with a perfect Aeropress and a slice of carrot cake. Ill definitely go back for that fourth time.

The best coffee in Summertown (and extensive research has been carried out!). Delicious cakes, plus excellent freshly-made pizza at the weekends. Really interesting and carefully chosen local produce, bit pricey but you get what you pay for! Top tip: expect a wait, but itll be worth it!

Never had such a bad experience before, I was looking for some nice colombian vibes, and I found a very rude lady instead, hopefully this is just an exception and not the rule, I am fan of Colombian coffee and their cultural vibes, but saddly customer atenttion in this place is very bad also I saw how she shouted to one of her employes I was very surprised.Definitly not going back to that place again, the overpriced is not worthy if you are being treated so rude. An umpleaseant experience

My first time in Oxford and my first time to try Colombia Coffee Roasters! I would highly recommend this lovely independent store with its delightfully unusual fruit and vegetables. Alas I had only time for a coffee and a croissant but both were well worth it, specialty coffee expertly crafted to my specifications. Thanks guys, you made my day!

We went today at 5.30 pm for the first time after my husband had a busy NHS shift for a coffee. He entered and the coffee shop which was quiet inside. He was waiting to be served but could see the servers were preparing other customers drinks. After around 5-8 minutes, he moved near the coffee machine - no one spoke or greeted him.Another customer went past him to the till area - not easily signposted.My husband asked one server why he had not spoken to him in all this time and where to be served. He simply said sorry and carried on, not telling the other server It was clear my husband was ahead and to get his coffee order.My husband politely left that coffee shop feeing frustrated and thinking how poor the customer service has been and went to another coffee shop (where he was spoken to and served quickly).I know the coffee shop is busy but customer service was poor and below standard. I hope this was a one off.

Spent £21 on two coffees and two pizzas, the coffees were very small 8oz for the price and pizzas where also very small like 7/8" very expensive for takeaway.

I walk past here almost every day and decided to try their coffee and something sweet to match it. I got a cortado and a chocolate croissant. Both were absolutely devine. The coffee was the best coffee Ive tasted! The shop is small but filled to the brim with goodies such as fruit and veg, pastries and other edible goods. The atmosphere and decor is warm and inviting. The price is bit high but well worth it most definitely.I highly recommend and will definitely go back for another cortado!

Ordered their most expensive filter coffee today. The honest lady at the counter took the order. The coffee guys didnt know how to deal with the glass equipment! They let me wait there for 15 minutes figuring out how to make a coffee. The honest lady came back and told me they couldnt figure out how to operate the complex glass equipment. Since I had to go, I asked to change my order to an Americano. The coffee girl quickly delivered it with a rude attitude and said they would need at least 10 minutes to prepare the filtered coffee. Really?? Kidding me? I saw how you were struggling! This is the height of incompetency. Admit your foolish mistake. Dont expect everyone to be nice all the time.

Very good specialist coffee shop selling pastries, brownies, and farm produce. This is the second branch, the first is the one in the covered market. They use the same beans that are roasted there so the bean quality is very good. However, the coffee served isnt the same excellent quality as the one in the covered market. Its lacking depth, and strength in its flavour. Otherwise its a decent coffee, just not the same standard. The shop is quite large, theres seating inside and out which is covered. They have locally produced vegetables for sale, butter, cheeses, and yogurts are available in the fridge. Theres limited off street parking opposite which you can park for up to 2 hours. If youre in the Summertown area then this is the best coffee available, if youre in Oxford City centre then the covered market branch is the best.

What great coffee and customer service! This place is always my go to when in Oxford! The coffee is fantastic - fresh and fuels you up for the day. The customer service is also friendly, efficient and attentive. Love it here and highly recommend for a good cup of coffee!

Unbelievable, they dont serve Colombian Coffee!!! I am Mexican and always on the look for good coffee in England. With that name, this is not what I was expecting even though I have been there 3 times thinking it was the barista or some error on the making. So, last time I asked where was the espresso extraction from and it is from Kenia, no wonder is not as smooth or good as Colombian. Sorry guys and I dont mean to affect your ratings however I have to be fair to other great coffee shops in Oxford.

Lovely independent coffee shop. I personally love the coffee here and think its delicious, for some maybe too bitter but coffee is very subjective so its one of those things you just have to try and see! Prices are steep over £3 a coffee and paying extra for non dairy milk BUT if you like a good cup of coffee I do think its worth indulging. Friendly staff and lovely colombian manager. Muy bien! :)

Would NOT recommend this place at all. The lady who manages this place is EXTREMELY RUDE and made us feel very uncomfortable. She basically kicked my partner and I out for playing cards while we drank our coffees (very watery and bland mochasand ate a slice of cake. Even though she was wearing a mask she was obviously at a less than a 1m distance and yelling, so actually putting us at risk. As costumers we comply with regulations, and both of us were of course wearing a mask at all times when we were not sitting on the table and respected social distancing. In general, the staff is quite unfriendly in this place but kicking costumers out because you want more turnover of people (which is in fact riskier to customers and staffand using the pandemic as an excuse it’s just not ok. Overall a very bad experience. Never coming back.

The shop is amazing, wonderful high ceiling, lovely produce. I didnt find the staff to be friendly or well-informed, and I didnt like the coffee, but I like good old-fashioned Italian coffee and this is the trendy bitter stuff that people are serving these days. My friend said her tea was excellent, and it did look good, and shes fussier than me.

It is a lovely rustic fresh goods store. A tad new on the Summertown scene.They have a robust menu of artisanal coffees/smoothies/fruit juices. I had a Mestiva( Very dark hot chocolate made from Colombian cacaowhich unfortunately got to me cool so had to get home to reheat to embrace the flavours. Worth a visit. Definitely.I found this sign outside their doors quite... touching and true. Lets re-awaken humanity in the post CoVID world.

Fantastic coffee shop with a good variety of fresh produce too.The coffee menu is varied without being over the top. The same can be said for their cake and pastry selection too.I came away with a cappuccino and chocolate brownie today, coffee was smooth and tased fantastic and the brownie was amazing.Staff were very friendly and welcoming and it would be a nice spot for a break when normality resumes.

Just bought a take away coffee here. The coffee is good. But I asked for a glass to have some of the free water available as I was feeling a bit faint and the man behind the counter was extremely rude and aggressive. I always wonder if a man like that would be the same if I was a man instead of a woman. Simply don’t see the point of employing people like that. I won’t be going back.

A great selection of coffees, cakes and smoothies. Went for the Japanese syphon which was very reasonably priced at 3.95 :and a very gooey and yummy peanut butter brownie. A great find!

Best speciality coffee in Oxford, sustainable direct trade with family farm in Columbia. Cakes are to die for. Great indoor and outdoor seating areas, disabled access and great staff. Small business done right 👌🏻
