Creekside, 55-acre park offering lighted sports facilities, nature trails, a skate park & fishing.
Great hike & bike. Elevation training hill. Clean restrooms.
My family and I go there to enjoy the senary and barbecue occasionally. Its very peaceful and tranquil. We simply love it.
This park is really amazing. The play is awesome for toddlers and for bigger kids. Many people throwing birthday parties. Very large spaces around for soccer, volleyball, etc.. there are nice walking/ bike trail.
What a fun place to go. Extremely large, so Im sure all in the family will find something fun and interesting to do. My 4 year old would live there if she could.
Gorgeous park and baseball games was great watching the children
This is a great place to go with the family, do not take any kids under 3 it is not safe. They swings are way to big or certain parts are too high for them climb. So for the rest of us, they have a volleyball court on the sand for those that dont mind the sun, they also have another one that has a cover. The parks are pretty fun for older kids and lots of places to run or go over a hill. A place to BBQ and sit to enjoy with the fam. Love it 😊
Multiple playgrounds including covered and shady ones, lots of playing fields and picnic areas including some covered pavilions.
Very clean park with cops patrolling the area I definitely felt safe there. They have a couple of playgrounds depending on your child’s age. I really liked the big tree playground it was really nice. My toddler really enjoyed this place coming back soon.
Parking is an issue but we have 2x the amount of people in the area , than what the park was designed for. So thats not an issue we can fix in one day
I liked it...there is sand in the 2-5 age group are before you walk in the playground just a heads up. The titter totter is fun and its cute for my nephew who is 3
Clean and well-maintained park. I enjoy my weekend jog at Collins Park!
Had a blast with the boys, chatted with a professional musician, and enjoyed one of the many playgrounds at the park. Wonderful atmosphere and right next to a police station, so you know its a good crowd there. Theres a little hill near the volleyball court and playground which was perfect for rolling down.
A really nice town park with sports fields lots of parking, walking trails skate board park playgrounds for both toddlers and bigger kids which are well maintained. Nice shade areas for picnics. The definitely worth a visit. Service has one of the best playground areas I have seen.
Great park to go bike riding. Lots of paved trails that go around the baseball fields, playgrounds, along the bayou and to the shops on Cypresswood. It does get very busy on the weekends when games are going on, good luck finding parking.
Nice facilities. Good atmosphere. The kids love to come here for softball games.
Unique neighborhood experience . Ample parking and variety of attractions to enjoy outdoor fun 👋Relax and watch a sport activity ; watch children playing and interacting with parents as well as other families .Often there is not enough room to play on a playground .The areas were spacious and structures were very creative ☺️
good place to bring your kids , many shade areas and next to cypress springs. There is a hiking, biking and walking, the trail runs along Cypress Creek bank , most of the trail is shady and it connects with Meyer Park
It is a fun park! 2 slides werent working ( closedbut to be honest, a mom with a toddler and a baby it was enough for me to follow them around (also pregnant 6 months).Shade was good with lots of trees and first park has a roof for hot or rainy days. The one with big slides it is maybe for kids 5yrs old and up since is a little bit tall. My 3yr old did it well on his own. Few good spots for picnic plus the playground perfect combination for families with kids.Lots of parking space so please people watch out for the little ones when driving/parking. For the safety of our children.
Found this place on accident a few weeks ago while on the never ending hunt to find a playground where my son can play with kids his age. He enjoyed it except that everything gets too hot in the sun.
Excellent public park along a string of mountain biking trails! Volleyball, soccer field, baseball fields, skate park, playground and covered area for picnics or birthday parties... Oh, beware there are also a few horseflies here and there!
Beautiful park, lots of shade and parking. Separate play areas for the bigger kids and younger kids.
It was a wonderful day enjoyed it with friends and family
Parking is insufficient for the level of activity that goes on. When you have an adult tournament coupled with a girls softball tournament, it can lead to a severe lack of parking spaces. Fields look like they were well taken care of though so I guess it balances out. But the toilets look like Porta potties and are not well kept. Its frustrating playing a tournament but hoping you have time in between games to go somewhere else to use the bathroom.
Nice spacious park. Next to the library. Used for a childrens birthday.
I love this park. Lots of shade in the toddler playground, its perfect for those really sunny days. Their walking trail is nice but not my favorite so -1 star.
My favorite park in the area. Always so much to do. Different playgrounds for the kiddos, picnic areas and walking trails. Plus amazing views! I had my baby shower and my daughters bday here. This park is definitely a hidden gem.
Wow, this park is family-friendly and great walking and running paths.
Its nice there a few different play structures for various ages. My boss love the 3 story "rocket" and big slides! I love there are benches and picnic tables, plus a restroom and water fountain available!
Amazing park for all ages with restrooms and park benches/tables for picnics. It is very well keeped and maintained. They have small playgrounds, a large one to accommodate for bigger kids, they have a volleyball court and basketball court. They have nice clean safe trails and a hill to roll down on. They have soccer goals and a skate park. Overall a great park for everyone.
We had so much fun. Nice quiet and safe.
The park has several baseball fields, a soccer field, link to bike trails along the river, a covered volleyball court and play area, as well as 2 open playgrounds. When there are baseball/ softball games going the parking gets very tight, so you may need to park in the adjoining library parking lot.
There is a MTB trails starting at that park I think they connect to another park (not 100% sure on thatbut the trails are arox. 5-7 miles one way, thats where the pictures are taken. As for the park itself its clean and nice, people run bike, grill and enjoy themselves.
It was a but crowded and there were a few going faster in the parking lot than they should have been. The covered play area was perfect for today.
Amazing trails! We hiked over 6 miles today.
Went to a birthday party in the covered area. Not very busy on a Saturday morning, plenty of parking spots. Did not get to explore, but I would love to bring my kids back here to visit the playgrounds. Area is kept clean and looks very nice. Will definitely come enjoy another day!
Cool park! loved biking here, the trails are nice. You can also fish or skate, it has everything :)
Beautiful trails...kids and I enjoy our walks before stopping at the tall slides and playground. You never know what you will spot during your walk!
Lot of ballparks and big area for the kids to play. Very good place to to park for the beginning of the Mt. Bike trails.
It is a very huge green land space, with trails, trees, paths, a activities for all. So we chose it to honor our fellow model in the I Am Fearfully and Wonderfully Made Fashion Tours unexpected death. The balloon release in her honor was a blessing to each person present. Thanking God for His earth and nature, thats free for use 💛💙❣
Glorious environment, very well kept, positive, friendly vibe, with a cool historical element. I love this place, i grew up here & its only grown even nicer as time goes on.
In our effort to explore a different park each weekend that we possibly can, today we parked by the Barbara Bush library and started our walk at Collins Park. We followed the path through the woods and around the pond to Meyer Park. I’m not sure how far we walked but it was a solid hour and a half at a good pace. Loved seeing so many other Houstonians out enjoying this gorgeous summer weather!
We spent the first Sunday afternoon of 2020 here. Coloring, munching on pistachios, and hitting the playground. Even grabbed a pizza and fed the squirrels. Lots to do here pretty great place close to home very well kept.
Lots of things to do for various ages, skate park, playgrounds ( one for smaller kids!), walking lanes and areas of grass for rolling. There is a bathroom and lots of picnic areas and seating.
I love coming to walk the trails in the cypress area. This park has changed after the heavy rain but is still beautiful with some color. The trails are clear and wide. Very easy and user-friendly. There are information boards on local history and trails and where everything connects.
Great park to workout at or have a kids party. This park is huge and has a lot of parking spots. I love that the police are consistently patrolling the park. My cousins birthday party was here and it turned out nice.
My 4 children ask to go here to hike and nature walk... Several good playgrounds, BBQ pit with table, open grass areas, long walking and bike trails. And a large Creek.... Endless outdoor fun.
Great playground areas and lovely paths to explore as well. We love this park! Lots of beautiful water spots along the trails.
Fantastic park with multiple playgrounds, picnic tables, pavilions, restrooms, plenty of space for kids run, and lots of shade.
I enjoyed the day with my love and I really enjoyed the scenery. We went a bit before Christmas on that snow day lol it was romantic to walk the trails and talk.
This is a huge park with miles and miles of hiking and mountain biking trails (you will need a helmet). There is a playground for the bigger kids and one for the little ones, a skate park, lots of covered pick-nick areas with grills. The park is dog friendly as long as they are on a leash. Many baseball and softball fields as well as soccer fields and a volleyball net in the sand. Nice friendly atmosphere that is great for kids. The mountain biking offers easy to hilly terrain that looks like loads of fun.
