Nothing special to comment about this lodge. Very Old building, not properly maintained. Rooms are not much clean just for name sake it is cleaned. TV, Remote, TV Cable connections are not proper. Wash rooms are dirty. Unsure Hot water availablity for urgency. Fans are not working upto the expectations, no night lamp in rooms.Room Charges is more when compared to its cleaniness and facilities.Only for urgency can use this lodge.

The most pathetic Rooms full of mosquito I had checked in at night 3 am for 6 hours as my flight was there in the morning first they didnt reduced the price took whole money then there was no BLANKET FULL OF MOSQUITOES SINQE BROKEN WATER TAP NOT WORKING PROPERLY. AND THERE IS A MOSQUE SO CANT SLEEP HERE AT ALL.DONT STAY HERE AT ANY COST PLEASE STAY IN SOME OTHER HOTEL NEAR BY

Hotel is located right in front of Railway station, walkable distance to Temple.Approx 800 meters.Good car parking space.Building is very old, dont expect rooms to be of 2022 standards. They are ~20yrs old.Service is pathetic, front desk is only eager to collect money.No newspaper, no toiletries, no water bottle, no towels. Charge 2200 for a/c room for 3 adults and 1 kid.Complimentary breakfast is available ONLY FOR ADULTS. if you brings kids, they dont serve complementary breakfast, they expect kids to eat outside or pay 300 rupees for kids breakfast.A 3 members family with kid can have breakfast within 300 rs at next door Sabaree hotel or GauriGanesh hotel.Definitely a no no for any food items here.Rooms are very costly compared to ambience and quality of service.Only good service is from security at car park. Those old men deserve praise.Only advantage is distance to Temple and safety of car within covered gates.Biggest negative is service, Front desk guy (Murthyfelt infuriated when I said his service was useless for not considering kids under complementary breakfast.I again will stand by what I said, service from FRONT DESK GUY WAS INDEED USELESS, USELESS, USELESS.

Located very close to madurai central railway station. Thats the only advantage of this hotel. One should be cautious while parking their vehicles. Otherwise the paint will be scratched. The rooms were stingy. Bedsheets had stains. No faucet in the bathroom. The water was overflowing to the room. Rooms were too hot and one cannot open the windows because it is located on the main road. Enroute room, there was a foul smell along the corridor mostly because of the waste the customers had kept outside the room. No proper room service after repeated requests. The front office staff was like, this is what you get, either accept or get off. Never recommend it to anyone. Better to chose other nearby hotels.

The stay here was not comfortable at all. Both AC and Non AC rooms are not clean or not. The washroom are very dirty as well. The furniture is very ancient and is not is good shape. Lots of mosquitoes in all the rooms. Room service and bell boys ask for more money ervn though the service is not good. Only good thing is the location, its near to couple of good places. Not worth the money or time. You will leave with bad experience, be it business or pleasure. Do not believe any highly rated reviews.

I stayed here on 31-07-2022 night and vacated on 01-08-2022 Afternoon. It was a Deluxe Double Bed A/c Room, for which they charged Rs.1950/- (which includes taxes). In the Room one small Cupboard is available but inside that cupboard there is neither any Hangers nor a rod is provided for hanging the cloths. Not even a coat-stand was provided on the walls. You have to lay the cloths on the bed or on the sofa/chair. Further, they said there will be 24 Hrs Hot Water supply. But no hot water was running in the Restroom on that day. When this was complained at the Reception, there was no proper answer and no remedy provided till I vacated the room. The complimentary breakfast provided was not so good. Barring the above, other things are ok. I will rate this Hotel only at 2 Stars, that too for its proximity to the Railway Junction.

It’s one of the oldest “if you stay here, you’re rich” pathetic hotels of Madurai.1. The staffing is poor.2. Maintenance is worse and god knows where the room rent is flying away.3. Rent is higher for the low grade services they provide.4. Washrooms are good compared to the main room.5. AC doesn’t work at times and the set top box also doesn’t work.6. For this pricing and cheap services, rather stay at any other hotels around this place.7. The receptionist behaviour was also inappropriate when we wanted him to address our concerns. He turned deaf ears to us.Previous generations might’ve had great experiences over here, but now it doesn’t fit in the current timeline. It may be the “The” hotel of the past, but now it’s only advantage is the vicinity of key stops.To have a peaceful and a relaxing stay, don’t even come around this place.
