Nice patio with lovely Halloween decoration. I had the portobello caprese as an appetizer which was excellent and the filet mignon for the main course.The steak was cooked on point!If I make it back to San Carlos, I will certainly visit this restaurant again.

Food and entertainment is always a plus at Colibri. The owner is open to bringing new entertainers in every week if not every month.

Good pizza and other Italian food. We overwhelmed them on an unexpected weekday with 25 people. They really tried to keep up but couldnt. I do want to say the surf and turf pizza was fantastic. I would go back with just my wife.

An hour and 45 min waiting for a pizza and the server in a bad mood 🙁 we asked twice for sugar and she never bring it ☹️ We don’t know her name but she is blonde long hair

The food is great and the atmosphere is amazing! If you ever get the chance to meet the owner (Alexyou can tell hes very passionate about the food and experience he serves to his customers. There is interesting and beautiful art for sale from local artists all over Calibri that makes a memorable experience and immerses you in the San Carlos culture. Im so happy I was able to visit this place and I cant wait to go back.

This place is amazing!! My friends and I came down for the weekend and we stopped here after we saw the pride flag! 🌈 We knew we would be welcomed right away. To say the food was great is an understatement. The place itself was so welcoming! The owner Alex is extremely proud of what he’s created and friendly. And he speaks English fluent as well as Spanish! They sell local art and have it displayed all around the restaurant. The owner offered us Margs and they were soooo good!! I couldn’t have just one! 🙊 We will definitely be adding this place to our list of places to always visit. Thank you Alex and his work crew! We will be back!

We love Colibrí, but please instruct your hostess. Got there last night around 8, she comes out towards us, says: do you have a reservation? not really in a nice tone. If not she says, you either sit inside or at the bar. Pretty tough! Ok, fine. We did , enjoyed our evening, great waiter I do say.But how about: "Welcome, good evening, were pretty full tonight, do you have a reservation......?Much better first impression. Needless to say this exchange was all in Spanish, her native tounge.

Nice atmosphere, wood fired pizzas live entertainment, friendly staff. This is a really nice option for casual dining

Absolutely delicious! Fresh, great presentation and the flavors!! Had the seared tuna, ajillo mushrooms, apple tart and cheesecake. Just perfect!

Sat outside, weather was great. As it cooled down they turned on the outside heaters. Food was good and staff friendly.

Best atmosphere in town. Ask for Franco when making a reservation. You wont be disappointed!

This is a beautiful place with a lot of charm. Coibri is Spanish for hummingbird. They are represented in many ways including being painted on the walls and ceiling of the bar room. We were there on a Thursday night and there was live music 🎶 and they have a lovely outside table area where The music is performed. The food was sublime, cooked to perfection and the presentation was lovely! A must to experience in San Carlos😊👍👍👍👍👍

Although food was good, the service was totally unacceptable. Our group waited 3 hrs before the last person was served. The restaurant was not capable nor honest to admit it could not accommodate service. There are other good places in town with much better service and food.

The place is like an art gallery showcasing local artists’ art. Their wood oven for the pizzas is quite unique. The croissant with filet mignon and the eggs Benedict are a must. They are conveniently located inside a plaza and with plenty of parking space.

The service is always exceptional and the food divine! There are daily specials that should be checked out, and this is absolutely the best place in San Carlos for Eggs Benedict and steak.

Great place.... Monday night silent movie with live piano accompaniment by Omar is one of best things to do in San Carlos.... get reservations as it will rightfully be very popular.... Franco the waiter treated everyone very well and efficiently...

This is a wonderful restaurant tucked away off the main street in San Carlos, Senora, Mexico. There is both in and outdoor seating and the ambiance is outstanding. Terrific selections on the menu with monthly specials available. There is an outdoor pizza oven cooking up a variety of pizza usual and unique selections. The beef filet melts in your mouth. Lots of special touches making the plate very appealing, including a salad bowl made out of edible cucumbers. Highly recommend.

AH-MAZING! Alex always takes the time, to make it special for us. Colibri has tripled in size & the service hasnt changed a bit! Food and drinks are to die for! Patio, plants, music & ambiance is top notch. He made our birthday celebration the best!

It is not the typical San Carlos food place where everybody goes. A little bit hidden place, italianish style, well decorated with pretty good pizzas.From all San Carlos restaurants, I would say it is one of the best!

This was recommended by a local to me .We came in with a large group at unexpected time and were quickly accommodated to serve us. Everyone really enjoyed their meals.

Newbie to San Carlos so first time diner at Calibri, came highly recommended......very attentive and friendly service, food was fresh and perfectly prepared. I had the seared tuna, she had the stuffed portobello salad.The live music band was a great addition to the ambiance. I wish i would have gotten the name of the band, because Id love to hear/see them again!Calibri is a great place for a romantic date night.

Good food and great atmosphere. We had their pizza and calzones from the wood fired grill. They were served on large round lumber cuts. Great flavor!

Colibrí has always been one of my favorite places to go. Great atmosphere and excellent management and friendly service. The food is excellent, and if you want to be entertained go to Colibrí.

We visited here for the first time. We had a great filet w Al Bearnaise sauce. They had great music for dancing. We danced. They also have superb pizza & the best desserts.

This place was EXCELLENT!! We had a great experience with live entertainment! The fish of the day was prepared perfectly... We ate here 3 times it was so good. Never had a bad meal.

One of the best restaurants in San Carlos, SON, MX. I had a fennel, pumpkin and walnut soup. Im a soup aficionado, so Ill try just about any soup. It was interesting, but I wouldnt order again. On the other hand their "humming bird" soup is outstanding, half squash and half beet side by side in the same bowl with crema decorating the top. My lady had a chicken dish covered with a cream sauce of mushrooms and bacon accompanied by a generous serving of fresh green beans, outstanding. She doesnt eat a lot, so in ordering the soup I knew Id get at least half her supper which I thoroughly enjoyed. We capped off our delicious meals with a large scoop of pistachio ice cream with nut pieces sprinkled on top. Franco, our waiter, did an excellent job, was very attentive and friendly and made our interactions enjoyable.

What a beautiful restaurant with a magnificent backstory to how this all started. If you’re in town or coming to town this is the place to be. The entire menu is phenomenal, everything on this menu is to die for. The drink menu is spectacular and the garnishments along with the appearance of everything that is brought out to you to the table is beautiful 👌🏽 !!!!

Its a great place for dinner, peaceful and nice. Suggestion: arrived early overall weekend. Amenities: live music on weekends. Services is great.

Excellent Italian food in an easy going Mexican town. The pizzas are flavorful and everyone in our group enjoyed their dinners. They offer a variety of salads and other entrees in addition to their great pizzas.

Exquisite is the best word to describe Colibri..Starting with a fresh pressed coffee carafe delivered to your table.The decor is loaded with zen.Pu ur meals were prepared perfectly..Staff was delightful..I highly recommend eating at Colibri...

Staff, food, seating layout and atmosphere all made for a very good evening out. Most dishes have the hummingbird flare. Great flavors with a twist of creativity. Back a year later and it is hard to believe but Colibri is better than ever. Very good live music tonight, not overpowering so table talk is not drown out. Should stop and try this excellent restaurant out if your in San Carlos Mexico.

Our favorite "date night" restaurant . We always get the filet mignon, but you can also order pizza from their outdoor wood fired oven. The chef is one of the best around and the staff is very friendly and attentive. Theyve been open one year now, and are now one of the few places that you should get a reservation for. Limited seating inside. I wish the chairs were more comfortable.

The best french press coffee in town. Recommend the tortilla española or the steak and eggs bruschetta, plus sweet fresh oj for breakfast. And if youre like me and eat ice cream for breakfast, their gelatos are superb! Service is always attentive too.
