I really hate to leave a bad review but this experience warrants it. The initial experience with the woman taking the order was full-on RUDENESS, and completely unwarranted. I ordered several items totaling quite a large bill. When I got to my destination and served the food the soup and the meat contained therein was SPOILED. I had to throw it away, as my destination was 30+ minutes away from the restaurant. The other entree was refused as well and I ate it today. As I sit here writing this review my stomach is ill from the pepper chicken. NEVER again.

I don’t usually leave reviews on food but this is beyond horrible. The worst Nigerian food I have eaten. I’m so so upset! I ordered Egusi no vegetable just plain not tasty, I asked for goat meat 1 piece of goat and 1 cow foot? Is this a joke??? What do you sell to people? Egusi? Really??

I have ordered here few times before I stopped ordering from this restaurant. First of all the wife of the owner is a very rude woman , every time I have gone there she has always had an attitude. The husband in the other hand is always pleasant and welcoming , he displays good customer service and knows how to speak to his guests that come to patronize his establishment.

This is in the top 3 best African food I have had. It is over 30 minutes away and work the drive.

I usually dont right reviews, but on this occasion I just had to. I paid $50 for two meals, which is pricey but I expected the food to be at least good. The food was not even ok. Other Nigerian restaurants in the same area were by far better tasting and cost less. I can never go back there. I would just settle for some regular Chinese food if I have to next time. Unbelievable!!

Food was delicious. Employee answered the phone rude but they were about to close soon so it was kinda my fault, other than that no complaints.

So omg!! Can not get enough of the beef stew here!! So flavorful with just the right amount of spice and the fried rice goes so well with this dish!! My second time here this week!!

I’m new to ATL and after going to more than 5 Nigerian restaurants, this is by far my favorite one. Highly recommended

We just recently moved to the area and decided to try something closer to home, we called and the woman who took our order was rude. we got the beef suya and it was sooooo disappointing and flavorless, the meat was thin and dry. and what african place charges extra for more pepper? issa no for me, bad service and even worse food. Africa Restaurant LLC in Marietta is wayyyyyyyy better. Take your money elsewhere.

Ordered here for the first time today and I have to admit that I am really impressed. I looked at the menu on Uber eats and I had to restrain myself from ordering everything 😂😂. I ended up ordering Nkwobi, fried rice, jollof rice, goat meat, beef, Asun, yam and eggs and Ayamase because I wanted options and I have to admit I didn’t get my hopes up on how it would taste but turns out everything tasted AMAZING!!! Hands down one of the best African restaurants I’ve ever been to. Definitely worth the price. I really wanted the peppered snail but I guess next time!!Only disappointment was the portions of the rice because it was so freaking good!!!

This Place DOES NOT DESERVE ANY STAR AT ALL. I CAME TODAY 3/10/2021 AROUND 5:45 - 5: 50--ISH...THE PLACE WAS PRACTICALLY, EMPTY, MAYBE TWO OTHER PATRONS GUESS PLUS MYSELF WERE THERE. THE LADY WHO GREETED AND TOOK MY FOOD ORDER WAS EXTREMELY RUDE, AND VERY UNPLEASENT, SHE WAS NOT PROFESSIONAL ANY MEANS OF THE WORD. LAST BUT NOT LEAST NOT ONLY DID SHE SHORT CHANGE ME FEW DOLLAR AND CENTS BUT DIDNT TABULATE THE TRANSACTION THROUGH A ZIOSK MACHINE, COMPUTER, OR ANY FORM OF TABLET; STRICKLY FROM HER HEAD MADE UP HER PRICES. THERE WAS NO RECEIT GIVEN SO I CAN MY TOTAL AMOUNT BECAUSE SHE DIDNT USE THE COMPUTER.

Don’t waste your money in paying for delivery. They didn’t have half of the stuff I ordered. Flavor is meh...

The food tasted quite awful [actually, VERY awful] and the packaging of the food was very unappealing. A part of my order was missing and when I called them about it they were very nonchalant and offered no recourse. Do NOT waste your time or money ordering from them. If you want authentic African food in Cobb County please try Fad Fine Dining or Ayo African Restaurant. Colabbo Restaurant is terrible in customer service and food quality.

ordered with fried rice, jollof rice and egusi soap and two meat pies.. one meat pie was spoiled and slimy ended up throwing up after opening and smelling it. The turkey in the egusi soap was not fully cooked. I called the manager with an hour of making purchase and he said to come back for a refund. I made the purchase on my way back home from work so waited till the next day since I was to tired to go back out. I took the other meatpie to the restaurant and the manager opened it and turned out that the second one wasnt bad like the one I ate. He acted like I was lying about the meat pie because the second meat pie wasnt spoiled. I am going back to my original African food spot which has great overall reviews. No need for the drama

UPDATED 9/20/19: I went back today for lunch and the meal was very good. I ordered the Jollaf Rice with Beef along with some plantains and some palm juice. The service was friendly and fast. My Nigerian co-worker also praised the quality of his meal (jollaf rice with goat). Im looking forward to going back again soon.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ORIGINAL 9/10/19: I tried to go to lunch here today and they were closed! It was 12:05pm on a Tuesday. The hours on the door and here on Google Maps says they open at noon on Tuesday, but on this particular day, the Open light was off and not a soul appeared to be inside.Needless to say, it’s disappointing when merchants don’t respect their own operating hours.

Their food is very good. Their Nkwobi is just the best and very good portion.

The food is great, the service is slow and the prices keep changing according to ring you up.

Ordered shrimp. I got home and had something completely different. The plaintsins arent that great.

Fish was over fried and i could not taste the fish. It was too hard.

The restaurant is new and I am so glad I gave them a try. The customer service waa great, restaurant is clean and the food tastes very flavorful. My order was prepared in a timely manner. The area has been over due for a good Nigerian restaurant. The other options nearby ( Ive tried them allhave been disappointments.To the owners/management:keep up the good work. I am confident that if you continue to treat your customers with respect and continue cooking the way you do now your restaurant will thrive! I will be returning.
