We had spaghetti bolognaise & the Tortellini Pesto With L’Ormarins bubbly! Great service. Love the playlist! What a treat for a rather blue Monday!

Nothing to write home about. The pizzas and pasta was bland. The cocktail wasnt nice and the beer was flat. The waitress however was friendly and her service was good.

I really Enjoyed having dinner here. Sosos service was so amazing and the manager was very fantastic.

Experience was negative the manager had no skills as a manager, instead got upset with us for our food had non stop problems. Instead of being a manager, he sulked in the kitchen, was no where on the floor, while the waiters were drinking unfinished drinks from customers glasses in the kitchen in his presence. This was a shocking experience to say the least. We were a table of 12 and the bill was well over a few thousand rands. No service, no responsibility, an absolute let down. Wish i could write something els instead but, i cant.

Just a disaster. Cream based pasta became water mess with uncooked mushrooms. Mexicanna with a small speck of mince, glasses aren’t taken off the tables. Ask for takeaway container for pasta, get a broken polystyrene box… no words

Absolutely amazing!! Not only was the food absolutely delicious, but the service was more than adequate. Definitely suggest to ask Lubis to be your waiter. Ive been here more than once and he is the kindest waiter always making sure that you are satisfied with your order. Thank for great service! You definitely made our day!

Rather go and eat at the place unless you want to wait over an hour+ for it to be delivered and almost charged R250 for a 10 minute away delivery. The food is alright I wouldnt say Id crave it again.

The service was good and friendly.I had to ask a second time for my glass of water. The pasta was great and the house wine was equally pleseant.They had nice fires / heaters outside which are really inviting

In Franschhoek for the Race2Sea. Lubis served up some great service alongside an awesome pizza while we tried some local beers. We sat outside in early September and the gas fired heater kept us as warm as the music.

We dont have a ColCaccio in the East of Pretoria anymore so when we were in Franshhoek we jumped at the chance to grab a Forresta. The service from Lubis was brilliant, the beer was outstanding and of course the Pizza was the best. Cant go wrong with this branch. Oh and ask for Lubis..

Service was absolutely amazing. I just didnt enjoy the pizza. I ordered the exact same pizza that I ordered at another Cal Cachio and it tasted different and had less topings on. The bases also werent great. You wont be seeing me again.

First time in Franschoek and decided to pop in. The restaurant looked vibey yet cosy at the same time. Our waitron Wendy was excellent and made the experience most enjoyable. Pizza, fun and flavour. 🎉🎉👏👏

A friend and I drove to another town specifically to enjoy this restaurants low-carb options on the menu. We arrived to see a welcoming vibe and a large outdoor seating area with fireplace and other clientele.Inside, there is also a bar upstairs but we chose to sit in the smaller dining area downstairs. We ordered 2 Grande coffees - it came in a cup which Im sure would be classified as small in any other establishment.Then we both ordered the low-carb cheesecake each. Only one arrived and after re-ordering another, my friend proceeded to start digging in. Two spoonfuls later, my friend affirmed that it definitely wasnt the low-carb cheesecake we were after, but a regular cheesecake. As much as we love cheesecake, its a definite no-go on keto/banting diet. We informed the waiter of his error upon which he set off to bring 2 correct low-carb cheesecakes. Ten minutes later he informed us that there wasnt any left.There was absolutely no apology or any kind of friendliness offered by the waiter, but rather an unpleasant attitude which made the experience pretty forgettable.I ordered another grande coffee thinking the waiter may offer it on the house by way of offering some kind of admission of terrible service and attitude.By now we wanted to just leave. We ordered 2 take-away low-carb pizzas for the road. My 2nd coffee arrived and it was in an even tinier cup much like the little teacups people use for tea. I raised this with the waiter and he vehemently argued that it was a grande cup of coffee. I should have taken pictures. My friend and I both agreed that there was no ways that this cup was the same size as the original grande, itself a dismal offering for a coffee lover.After seeing the bill, the waiter had not only argued that the tiny 2nd cup of coffee was the same size as the original, he had actually billed for a grande. He cheerily added that he wont charge us for the incorrect cheesecake that he brought!On the drive home, we saw that the pizzas had very scarce ingredients unlike ColCacchios Canal Walk, which was very generous.All in all, this was a very unpleasant dining experience with a waiter harbouring a nasty attitude.

Nice venue, friendly waiters, but the pizzas were average... Im sorry to say. The pepperoni was bland, it didnt taste like pepperoni should.

An amazing experience during Bastille Day weekend 2022! Our service was fantastic, the vibe was insanely enjoyable, live music really pulled it together whilst the rugby was playing on the television for the sports enthusiasts.

Very good service, even on a busy day. I am not a great fan of a pizza, however this restaurant never disappoint. Good crust and fresh ingredients.My suggestion to the caprese salad , is to add a little more mozzarella and definitely more basil. We don’t mind paying a little more.

Nice Sunday chill....beer and pizza. Pet friendly as well which is great for us pet people. Service was a bit slow, but in fairness, it was the Bastille weekend and the town was crazy busy.

Unfortunately I am utterly disappointed, due to bad time management, cold and soggy food, the worst client response I have ever heard of.... Unthinkable to say the least. Not like I am used to getting there.After waiting for more than a hour, and I had to make a call, their initial reaction was that the driver got lost, and drove up and down the street for more than 20 minutes, then driver said that its not true, he just forgot were to bring the food.I then realized that the complementary garlic, and chili was not inside as per usual. I then called to inform them. The manager on duty told me that its because I placed a order over the phone, and not online. When I explained to him that they dont need to bring mee some but that I am very unhappy his reply was this - "have you never forgotten anything before"Shocked to say the least.I, we eat there frequently, but no more!!Nor will any of our foreign friends, directors or overseas guests like in the past due to the fact that I always suggested that they go there.... To play the blaming game with a client is unheard of to me.Utterly disappointed the unprofessional manner they tried to blame me the client thanks and goodbyeTo me, to us, and to our foreign friends and investors.

Great pizza.... also the only pizza joint I could find in Franschhoek... one of the few places with a play area for kiddies - daughter loved it.

Delicious Pizzas and efficient staff. The reason for only 4 stars is that the floor smelled of pine gel and Im not a big fan of the smell.

Waiter was very pleasant and enjoyed my cappuccino and the Live singing.The pizza was unfortunately not good, the base was so soggy and not crispy at all.

Service was a bit slow even when needing to pay but could be due to buzz of mothersday. Then again the Pizzas makes it all Better worth all the same.

Great service even though it was load shedding and meal came quickly after ordering, how ever there could be more care for the play/toy area as some children just trash that area and parents do not reprimand for poor behaviour. All in all a great family outing.

There were open tables outside, but needed to be cleaned. We were asked to sit inside while we wait for a clean table. It was very hot inside and wanted to sit outside. The waitress came past us again and said its almost ready. After 45 min we left with a takeaway pizza??? Never again. Pizza was okay

Great coffee, awesome background music. Salads was delicious, chicken was a bit dry. But overall a lovely brunch/lunch.

This review comes after 4 incidents of poor food quality / appalling customer service / rude staff. If you are passing through town and grabbing a beer and a pizza on the go, you will probably be ok. The take-away delivery service is unreliable and inefficient. Weve tried to address our concerns with management but they seem to be unable to get the message as nothing improves.Update - despite the ridiculous reply directing meto their website, gave them another chance. Hunger is a strange power. 45 minutes late. Cold. Burned. Not as ordered.

Nice ambiance, there was live music when we ate there. Casual outdoor seating with a few lounge benches for drinks, tables for eating. Indoors, or outdoors under the canopy near the restaurant, is a bit more fancy. The food was excellent! Pizza bread garlic is a very nice starter. Good wines, we had the Lynx rosé. Staff is very friendly and attentive.

Had the best pizza pizza experience. It was so delicious we went to twice to go eat at the restaurant. Welldone. Would recommend to anyone.

Visited ColCacchio yesterday evening for some lunch. They have a nice open area outside to sit, with a view of the main street. Nice music playing in the background. ColCacchio has quite a large menu to choose from. I usually get one of their pizzas. This time round I tried their selection of pasta. I tried The Pollo pasta with fettuccine. Tasted really good with, shredded chicken and a basil tomato pesto. My partner tried the Blu Formaggi, which have a very creamy taste from the Italian blue cheese that is in it. Our server Sinazo, took really great care of us from sit down to suggesting a dessert . Now on the dessert. A must try is the Crostata with salted caramel sauce. This is so nice!!! Crispy biscuit with sweet caramel sauce to dip in. Round that off with a nice Durbanville Hills Chardonnay and some coffee and you are set for a great evening. Well worth the visit. Prices are in the mid range, but the quality of the food and service is worth it.

Very nice venue, indoors or outdoors under the trees. Lovely pizza and pasta menu, but still a pity that this franchise does not serve steak or chips. Good selection of wine reasonably priced. Service was good with good value for money food. Great eating out experience.

Thank you for a lovely meal, really enjoyed visiting. The pizza base id thin and crispy, the serving of extra cheese, garlic and chille is appreciated, well worth a vist and cosy and warm when there is snow in the mountains!

I went there 2 times so I tried pizza, salad and pasta. The best of the three was the pizza. They are so good and the salad too. I was a bit disappointed in the pasta. So if I go again or you go and don’t know what to take I definitely suggest the pizza because they are great

Excellent pizza. Quick and friendly service. This is THE pizza restaurant to visit when in Franschhoek. Lovely outdoor seating area which is perfect when going here for lunch.Great for groups and travellers, and groups of travellers.

Well the waitress saved the day with their friendly service but the food was less than impressive. The pizza my wife ordered was dry and unappetizing. It was 30 degrees in the shade and the served room temp white wine no ice offered. And the sodas were room temp as well. Lacking a bit of class there guys. You can learn something from your Willowbridge colleagues. The decor inside left much to be desired as well - it half looked like they closing down. Sorry Franschhoek Col’Cacchio not impressed.
