Coill an Fhailtaigh Millennium Forest in Cill Chainnigh
Description
Privilege
Very pleasant, quiet, enjoyable spot for a walk. Some very hard gravel underfoot that is not so enjoyable.
MoreGreat place for dog walking
Nice, clean kept paths. Good sized carpark. Walks in different length loops. Very pleasant any time of year. Only thing missing no toilets around any where.
MoreIts a lovely place for a family walk. There are two different lengths of routes. The surface is not muddy, you dont need special boots.People use to bring their dog for a walk over there.
MoreNice peaceful forest
There is not alot one can say about this walking trail.. Its exactly that. Plenty of parking and a picnicking space for one to eat just at the beginning of the trail. In recent months due to Covid a coffee shack has been set up at the Weeke ds. Alot of users on this trail also walk their dogs. There are many different routes one can take to en joy their rambling walk. In spots one can sit and take take out to reflect on life or perhaps read a book while watching life pass on.
MoreBeautiful walk, and lovely coffee😀👍
Really lovely, apart from designated pathways, appears totally natural, lovely wildlife park, definitely worth visiting even on a damp day as it was today.
MoreLovely walks with plenty of space for social distancing. Very quiet
Love, love, love!! Peaceful, nature-esque and a beautiful walk!! 🌳🌳
A really nice park with good walking trails and plenty of seating.
Nice walk but I TV s ahead
Great place to walk your dog and also to clear the head.
Love walking here with my dog. Everyone you meet is friendly and they say hello. Dogs are kept on leads or put on leads when the owners see another dog coming towards them.
MoreMarvelous woods with lovely walks. Very dog friendly place. Review loses two stars because I was not able to park in the super nice car park. For no apparent reason it is not possible to park a car over two meters, (Im in a vanwhich is a pity because I would love to come back. Unfortunately I have to illegelly park on the side of the road.
MoreVery quaint place, not over run with tourists as its off the beaten track. No frills type of place but very enjoyable...good for picnicing!
MoreBeautiful forest walks.
Nice walkways
Peaceful and natural. Great peoples project. Thanks to all who make it possible.
quiet, peace, only birds of birds
Love going here with the pram. Good crowd at the weekend and very quiet during the week. A good walk around.
MoreFine park but owner dont leash there dogs very annoying
Nice forest, very quiet and tranquil. Flat walk so very easy going but the trails are rough so would be difficult to walk with a buggy or wheelchair. Walked my dog there and only met 3 other people, all dog walkers. Big car park with a picnic table. Lots of seats all the way around the trail. I did the red trail in under an hour and that was at a leisurely pace. Little stream going through it, but it was quite dirty and foamy today because of all the recent rain. Only downsize I had was that it was a bit of a boring trail, it looked the same the whole way around and there was no variation of plants or things to see. I like a walk with a nice view, wildlife/plants or even a few informational signs would be nice. Perfect if your local but wouldnt really travel to walk here.
MoreIts gonna take another 100 years for this place to be called a forest.
Lovely forest for a qute walk nive car park an very clean
Great walk with Aces High Flyball team and dogs. 10,000 steps+ and athe dogs had great fun in the streams. Peacfull walk.
More3 laps 10 k run testing but enjoyable run.
I love this place. Its magical!
Great place to walk the dog.
Lovely spot and great for going for a walk or a run. Dog friendly.
Beautiful peaceful place for a walk. Lots of bird life. Very well maintained.
Lovely place
Grand place for a walk, or run. not much to look at. a picnic area(tablewell kept. mostly flat wide loose gravel trail. fine for buggies. be aware or water channels just off pathway for kids on bikes and toddlers. if you have any, maybe look elsewhere.
MorePeaceful woodlands walks
Lovely walk but the pathways are destroyed in dog poo so you will spend your time looking down rather than around as to not step in any. Ruins a good walk. Loads of people walking their dogs with no leads and clearly not cleaning up after them. Nothing wrong with letting your dog off the lead for a run but at least have the common decency to bring their poo home.
MoreNice area for walk in nature and spends some time on fresh air. Big car park and picnic are there as well.
Moregood paths and good long walks quiet and peaceful
Ok
