Cogito Coffee Shop - Coffee shop in Zagreb, Croatia
Hipster place, super friendly barista and damm good coffee.I love their blend and harmony between the fruity and bitterness of coffee bean. It is my cup of tea this kind of taste. The atmosphere is very chill and comfy. Price is average for the specialty coffee.Must visit !
Nice place tucked away. As a Kiwi I didnt love the coffee. But many do.
The isnt much to say about the place really, its kinda jumbled up and non cosy but the coffee is great. You can buy pregrind and non grind coffee as well so thats why a 4 stars from me.
Beautiful coffee spot. Very chill and artsy. They make their own coffee, so no matter what you go for, is great!
Excellent v60 and butter 🧈 almond croissants 🥐Baristas are friendly and easy to communicate with ❤️
Hip & quiet place.Every kind of coffee you can think of. Also decaf.Unfortunately no cakes on Sunday morning. But you can bring your own pastries.
Grainy over-dued oat milk, defiantly not high quality coffee. Pricy. Service was nice
This hidden place in the center of the city is definitely worth finding for people who enjoy excellent coffee. Non-smoking.Unfortunately, last few times I’ve visited, the music was extremely loud, making it impossible to work on the computer, which is what these kind of places are all about.
I thought this was a lovely place to stop for a coffee. The coffee shop itself was chilled and bright, I sat outside and people watched. The staff were friendly and my cappuccino was delicious.
After drinking their cold brew in another cafe in Zagreb, I just had to visit this place. While the canned coldbrew was already quite nice, their Americano was ar least just as amazing. One of the best cafes in town.
Aside from the quality of the coffee, the atmosphere was special to itself...
I ordered flat white to try. Im used to coffee with milk, there are similarities in taste but I found that I like flat white better. Coffee is not too bitter, its just right. Place itself is made like you are in classroom bc of chairs and tables. If you sit outside you are covered from sun and rain. When its hot outside, there is little bit of wind bc of rift which is very please t place to be. Most tables have 2 chairs so its not made for large group of people. I would say it gives of an impression of childhood memories 😊
Lovely staff and superb coffee!! Place is great for digital nomads. Comes with complimentary wifi 😃
Good coffee, quick service, happy to see that specialty coffee is getting popular in Zagreb
The shop is a very cool place to hang out there. The owners/waiters are very nice and the croissants we could self-service. Its a lovely place. The Coffee is also very special, bit more sour then I might used to...
Good coffee selection & blends. They use La Marzocco which is always a plus. The atmosphere is casual. Good for solo stops, couples and small groups.
Tasty coffee and friendly service
Great coffee place in the Zagreb town centre. Their coffee was very good and the price is beating. The music is also helping this café earning a good vibe café status.
Qutie & nice place also good coffee. I would recommend to try the v60 from them
Really too noisy place, they keep music badly diffused at high volume and the coffee is also very bad! Then there are not enough plugs for power supply...Pity, with a very little effort it could be much better!
Nice hidden coffee place in Zagreb where they produce their own coffee
Coffee is fineGood space, not so many tables to sit
Superb coffee and good atmosphere, however not recommended during the colder half of the year since the heatings busted, not ideal consdering its possibly the most expensive coffeee place in town.
A small and busy coffee shop in the city center. Outside seating available in the pedestrian zone. Very cosy, slightly retro interior. Staff really understands coffee, they are proud of their blends and always have a few singles in the grinder. Very good selection and quality of teas. Two local craft beer styles.A favourite of the locals. A must visit if youre in the center.
V60 coffee!!! My barista geeked out on coffee with me and recommended a great washed Kenya roast. It was delicious and I bought a bag.Happy to find a place that takes such care of their coffee and has a warm vibe.(And it was snowing, so it tasted EXTRA good😁)
I was wondering about this coffee shop many times since is located on a side road of a busy street in the city centre, is not bad but the cups are too small. The quality of the coffee is good, one thing I noticed coffee in Croatia comes warm never hot. The place is not chic the tables and chairs are pretty basic. Service was fast and polite. Prices middle range.
A great place to work, the internet is super fast, but it’s a bit noisy, so bring your airpods pro. We had cappuccinos and they are the most beautiful cappuccinos in town
One of the best coffee places in Zagreb. I love the beautiful interior design and especially the good tasting espresso. Its a rather hidden and tiny place but with many possibilities to sit outside. Very nice, top recommendation!
Coffee is fine here, however for working this is not a good place. Indoors there are chargers (which is great!but the music is way too loud. It can get so loud its not only difficult to work but even difficult to hear someone talking.
Its a cozy and nice cafe where I ordered matcha latte. Im Japanese and I was curious about the matcha latte (19kn). Its really delicious and they didnt make me disappointed at all. I ordered a croissant (12kn). It may be a little bit pricey but it was fresh and delicious.

Located on a quiet indent just off a busy street, Cogito offers excellent choices of coffee (to go or, better, to stay).Very good recommendations from the knowledgeable staff, ample options for coffee and the option to take a bag home. Different origins and preparation options.
Great coffee, but I dont support saving on waiters! Its not nice to have one person for a terrace of at least 20 tables. The waiter was very nice though, this is a critique of the company.
This unpolished gem has fantastic coffees and barristas that actually know what they are talking about. Coffee was flavorful and full of tasteful notes and it was served quickly. This place is for lovers of top quality coffee and as they roast their own so this is a real deal. Special thanks to Toby our barrista for guidance in making a selection. Delightful place we will gladly visit again.
Great place to sit down, study, and have a coffee! Friendly service and toffee was great. Only issue was that I found the music too loud. Even if I wasnt studying, it would be hard to have a conversation with someone and feel like you dont have to compete with the music.
absolutely the best coffee in Zagreb, with a staff who is knowledgeable about the product/process and happy to educate should you desire to learn more about your cup. Chemex/v60/filter coffee and cold brew both available and delicious, which is extremely hard to find in this part of the world. well done all around.
Can only recommend this place to have your coffee there (my favorite is cold brew). High quality coffee, really nice service, vintage/hipster interior and when it’s one of those hot summer days you will appreciate outdoor tables in shadow. Keep trying to teach Croatians to drink better coffee:)Fingers crossed!
My favorite coffee shop during my time in Zagreb. Delicious coffee. Reliable WiFi for working same a long communal table where us laptop workers congregated.
Extremely cool place and fantastic coffee! Friendly and fast guys.
Hidden little cafe, has seating inside too. Does fantastic coffee and does almond-rice milk which is a bonus. Also went to there second cafe which only does drinks. The cortado is the best Ive had outside of Spain. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice chilled vibe to sit and relax.
After spending much time in specialty coffee houses (see my post historyacross the US and Europe, Im so happy that my absolute favourite ones are in my proverbial back yard. Im not exacurating when I say that coffee in Cogito and its sister shop Dvorište is amongs the best experience Ive ever had - the only one that is coming close from memory being LaMarzocco lab in Seattle, but Id argue that the quality of the _coffee_ (so not the drink servedis actually better in Cogito. And the quality is consistent across the drinks as well espresso, cappuccino, and v60 were all absolutely sublime.Cant wait for them to start shipping their coffee overseas.
This is favourite cafe in zagreb, above quahwa. These guys have incredible coffe, an amazing place, beautiful people, music, atmosphere, everything!
Cheap, fast and good. Coffee may be a little darker than I prefer but it seems to be the constant around the region. Baristas were lovely people
A bit hidden in an entry to a courtyard which also serves as the seating area. They serve their own cold brew from little bottles. The home made ice tea is also great as well as the Latte Art decorated matcha latte.
Such a great cafe, right in the city center. Good coffee, really nice staff, magazines in English to read. Small tables outside for nice weather and chatting; a big table inside that was great to work at. Always good music.
excellent almond cappuccino, friendly barista and cosy ambient. they also offer oat and soy milk which is a huge plus. love the colorful cups they have for coffee.
Atmosphere and music are really my taste! Coffee, hot cocoa and macchiato are good and kids can also enjoy.
You probably passed it by, like, million times. But once you have your first espresso there, or espresso tonic, you will not just pass by it ever again. Bonus, they also have Medenko ice cream. Great & friendly staff.
Lovely. Coffee was explained as to where it comes from and how it was roasted. Which brewing techniques are best for it as well.Food was also amazing mostly for a quick yummy breakfast.Had freshly squeezed juice as well. Very refreshing.Incredibly nice people as well
Lovely little coffee shop with incredible coffee and friendly baristas. Best Americano Ive had in months. Also, they have a great selection of magazines to browse while enjoying your drink.
