Coffin Bay SA 5607, Australia, Port Lincoln
National park with campsites, picnic areas & a kayak launch, plus trails, wildlife & bird watching.
An absolute pristine National Park. Amazing scenery, lots of wildlife, sufficient facilities and decent roads. Definitely plenty to see without needing a 4wd. You won’t leave disappointed. Absolutely beautiful!
Excellent trip. Night stay camps are also available.
One of the many stunning beaches in SA. ☀️👍🏼
Seven mile beach best part of the national park, all amenities so clean and no rubbish around which was great. Very well looked after place
Beautiful relaxing place will hopefully return again and explore more.
Spectacular location, very remote, requires a 4wd and lowered tyre pressures (lots of sand driving & rocky terrain). Plenty of numbered campsites.Only down side was the maggots in the toilet bowl.
Had a beautiful 3 night stay on a larger site. Careful when booking as some sites are a little tight. Good no smell drop toilet. Not far to other things to see in the park with an enjoyable bush walk from the camp along the bay and up to a lookout.
My favourite national park on the Eyre Peninsula. Mainly directed towards people with 4wds. Most of the spots are only 4wd accessible. Awesome beaches and brilliant 4wding. So many emus with chicks. Its not too far from Coffin Bay.
Great place for camping. Also, three nature trails to hike. Lucky enough to spot few Emus in their own territory.
Speed limit says 40km/h, people please care, animals are vital part of this wonderful National park and rushing between places is not worthy.Amazing park, beautiful place where to spend a few days
This place is awesome.great camping sites .excellent views.great for fishing and 4wdriving .do your self a favour and go here you wont be disappointed
Amazing experience. Sooo much to see. Scenery beyond compare. We are so lucky in South Australia with so much awesomeness in our own back yard
Breath taking. What an amazing coastline we have here. We saw an emu and her gorgeous baby chicks, a pod of dolphins feeding and surfing thru the waves...speechless. We will be back
Extremely gorgeous landscapes. Best to do it in 4X4 if you would like to cover remote parts of the park. 2WD would show you around the first half of the park which is still beautiful and will let you camp at Yangi. You wouldnt need more than a day to explore the park if youre only in a 2WD or if youre not planning to do any of the hikes
This is such a gorgeous National Park. The views are incredible and so are the beaches. Most roads in the initial part of the park are sealed so easy to get around. 4*4 desirable to get to some of the beaches. And the beaches are worth it, some of the best Ive seen in the world. Bring your own snacks and have a picnic.
Fantastic coastline with islands, turquoise water and crumbling cliffs. Emu family strolling across the road - not the least bit concerned by our car. Plenty of great lookouts and 4wd tracks. Brilliant coastal landscape.
To enjoy the best of Coffin Bay National Park, you need a decent four wheel drive. We didnt know this and so couldnt get to the best beaches. Long drive on dirt road only to find we couldnt get where we wanted too. Some great views along the way though.
Based on my experienced, I could say that the Coffin Bay is one of the most brilliantly beach 🏖 that I have ever been or seen.Follow up my pictures you will love it too 🥰!I love the sound and smell of the sea 🌊☀️⛱❤️
Easy to explore. Beaches can be easily accessed by both 2wd and 4wd. The roads to the beaches are very well maintained. Great walks from easy as 45 mins. Great campgrounds overlooking Yangi bay.
Wonderful beaches, sand dunes and wild life. Drive slowly, goanna crossing
Coffin Bay National Park is sensational!! The beaches all along the coast of the point are really nice, and you can generally find a beach to go to what ever the weather is doing. Good 4x4 driving, good camping and there are long drops at most camp sites. Really nice scenic and fun place to go for either a day trip or long stays.
4 weeks along the Eyre Peninsula, this will always be the highlight of our holiday. Stayed at the site for 2 days, without ever moving, regret nothing!
If you’re hungry for more remote and awe-inspiring coastal scenery you can go west to Coffin Bay National Park.Extending on a finger of land is an area of high cliffs, enormous sand dunes and amazing beaches, some pummelled by ocean waves and others in peaceful bays. The more sheltered southern end of the park at Yangie Bay is ideal for kayaking and canoeing, and on land you can set off for a picnic in the bush. For gorgeous vistas on the south side there’s Golden Island Lookout, accessed via sealed road with near-constant ocean views. The beaches in the park’s very north are extraordinary but seldom visited, and you’ll need a high clearance 4WD to get there, crossing epic dunescapes on the way.
You could spend the entire day here or even camp. The national park is abundance with beautiful beaches and good hike trails. However the trails werent marked well.
Amazing national Park!! A really nicely set out park with plenty of stops along the way.Great access to the beach. Most of the park has dirt and sand tracks so 4wd is required to access most locations, well worth spending a few days exploring as a local told me.
Beautiful park. Lovely walk. Lots of wild flowers
Pristine beaches coast lines Heave on earth
Spectacular! This is the second time we have visited with our family. If you enjoy 4wheel driving, fishing, sandboarding and swimming then this is the place for you.
Definitely worth the $10 fee. Beautiful scenery and beaches, great for 4WDing
Absolutely amazing beaches and flora and fauna! Highly recommend
Great 4x4 tracks to secluded beaches, lots of emus and goannas.
Experienced campers only! But amazing place to stay. There were many bees while we were there, so consider that, if you dont like them, or have an allergy. We worked out how to live with them, but they were everywhere and over everything. My partner spat one out of his mouth after having drunk it.I had looked online for any bugs to be aware of but no-one had posted anything about any kind of bug. Theyre not always around, but in the hot weather they are there and they want your water, drinks or anything. You can provide them with a water supply away from your site, ie a tub of water, and you need to rinse anything sugary. Also cover anything wet. Still, I would say Id rather camp with the bees at coffin bay over camping with the march flies at Tom Groggin! Those buggers just want you, bees just want to hang out with you.
Amazing NP remember to purchase entrance fee before you attend.
Postcard perfect scenery. Great 4wd tracks and camping areas. Allow several hours to get to sir issac point in one go. I used half a tank of fuel to get down and back so factor this in also. Be prepared for some part of tracks to be flooded at high tide.
A beautiful park, amazing scenery. So enjoyed our day. The dirt roads were not very good, they could use some work on them. The animal life was a surprise to see so many.
Great family day out great beaches and scenic views and good walking trails. Most road are sealed which is great but watch out for the wild life crossing the road.
Wow. Just wow! Took the family into the dunes. They didnt want to leave!! Saw kangaroos, emus, wedge tailed eagle and a goanna. Well worth the $10!!
A fantastic national park 10$ entry fee pay by the web. Cammping sites with toilets at a great inlet bay.Breathtaking views of South Australians beaches tar roads in and out. With 4WD tracks to go further in.A must go.
Amazing! We only stuck to the 2WD areas but were blown away by how beautiful the water and coastlines were. Even the drive in towards the coast was great. There is a $10 day pass required to go in, but well worth it. Only regret is not making it to the sand dunes (and it ended up a bit cloudy). Very different to the Lincoln National Park, so get to both.
For all the parks we’ve visited this the best so far 4wd is a must to reach the beautiful beaches, sand dunes, and scenery around the peninsula.. off road tracks are mixed terrain which is suitable enjoyable for first time 4wd enthusiasts like me wherein you can conquer alone.. its a single track 2 way traffic.. for safety try to use your horn in every blind spot of the track to warn others there is a radio channel but sometimes others don’t use it.. its a must visit place..its a breath taking experience😁
Amazing beaches and heaps of sea life. The camp sites at Black Springs are good. Only some shade in some of the sites but and it gets really hot in summer. Black Springs is 4x4 access only.
Loved it! Worth the short drive. Watch out for the emus on the way in.
Beautiful beaches. Definitely would recommend.
If you are into four wheel driving and exploring this is a great place for local scenery and views with beach and track driving needed and camping good. Watch high tides as no track or beach in some places.
Need a 4WD to see the best bits. Is one of the most beautiful national parks in Australia
Probably the best National Park weve been to so far in Australia! Breath taking views and beaches! On top of that the wildlife roaming around were so beautiful to stop and watch! We stopped the car to watch a family of emus strutting around!
A park with marvelous landscapes, beaches and nature.
Awesome nature, bulky annoying payment method for fee. Most of the good stuff is only accessible by 4wd. Do not underestiamte distances!
Beautiful spot. Stunning beaches and coastline. We could only see a little bit because we didnt have a four wheel drive. Keen to come back with a better vehicle!
Great place to visit, you can see more with a four wheel drive, tracks very rough.
