Coffee Lab in Cotia
Description
Privilege
Good place if you wanna wait 30 minutes for a coffee 👍
Impressive espresso and great service
Best coffee spot in São Paulo. Usually the internet is working, all coffees are great and the snacks are incredible. For coffee: Cappuccino or Cappuccino Ritual. As alternative you can also have the Coffee that has red grains. Pretty sweet without sugarSweet snack: Cake with coffeeSalty snack: Brioche----Edit: They are removing everything that is taste from the menu! Now cake with coffee is not available anymore and neither Toast with egg. Thats super sad. They also removed every coffee ritual which was one of the most impressive thingsEdit 2: The Cake with Coffee is back but with some spices on it. Is not as good the original.
MoreInsanely good, one of the best coffee of SP. Went there in January twice, the staff is speaking english. As it was my first time there, they gave me a second coffee to try. Thank you again.
MoreVery bad experience. We entered and asked for a place for 2 people and the waitress told us there is just one under the stairs which wasnt a nice place. He told us that he comes quickly so that we can order coffee, we waited for 20 minutes and nowone came. Then we went away. We wont come back again, never been in a place like this.
MoreAmazing coffee, and even better service. Very friendly and polite team at this coffee shop. English friendly as well. The shop is beautiful, a great place to relax with top notch coffee.
MoreOnce upon a time Coffe Lab was a reference of coffee in the city. In my last visit it became clear it is no longer reference and not even a good coffee place anymore. The place is more focused in showing it’s LGBT and inclusive policies than serving good coffee or presenting a good service. The capuccino my wife ordered was served cold.My expresso was offered with a special coffee being offered that day. Accepted the offer and bad surprise: it was a terrible acidic and strong roast one. Impossible to drink.Ordered a regular, basic coffee to avoid surprises. It took hours to be served and when it came I realized it was made with the same coffee strain offered in the expresso. (?!?!)Asked the lady serving about it and only at that point she told me it was the only coffee type available that day. (At Coffe Lab you offer just one Coffe strain, roast ?!?!).If it was not enough, the service was terribly slow and lazy. The place was dirty and messy, with empty cups and trays left behind by costumers and taking ages to the staff to clean.Terrible experience, expensive and unpleasant. Look like the owners are not present to check the service and quality.Don’t think I will be back soon…
More5.0 | This place is a gem. I think this is easily one of the most unique coffee spots I’ve been to. they also have a ritual menu, where I ordered the cappuccino, one was made italian style, the other brazilian style. it was very pleasant, and both were presented in a way to appreciate the uniqueness of ea. the other folks got pour overs and teas, which they also enjoyed. the branding of the space is nice, and the experience is catered to true coffee enthusiasts. I loved it. I highly recommend you go if you’re in São Paulo.
MoreGreat place, they make aeropress coffee and another kinds. They know about their coffee and explain all about it. There are little co-working spaces, some with great windows and sunlight.
MoreAlways a nice experience. Good coffee, good atmosphere. Definitely I will be back
MoreI mayd not be specialist in coffee, but nohting special on this place. Good quality coffee and different manner of servicing, for me, too overvalued.
MoreThe ultimate digital nomad hang out - incredible coffee, fast wifi and a great setting to get work done Monday-Friday. Their coffee ice cream is out of this world. I make a point of visiting when Im in São Paulo and it never disappoints.
MoreThis is an exelent coffee stop for coffee connoisseurs! Interesting variety of coffees, and rustic style food.Ambience: 4/5 nice place with lots of plants definitely a place to relaxQuality 5/5 coffee here is amazing! Definitely worth a try, the food has a homie vibe reminds me of farm foodService: 5/5 service is great and they are bilingual so English speakers will have no problem. Even have an English menuCome try one of their coffee flights you will learn a lot have fun and above all have an excellent cup of coffee
MoreIt was 2nd time I went here and I was impressively amazed how professional the staff is. Guilhermina was incredibly kind and warm with me and my Pakistani guest and printed an awesome impression on him. He chose the place because of some reviews on Google and they didnt disappoint us.Keep it up ... you guys rock!
MoreThe best coffee experience in town!On the menu you can find a special coffee refil, coffee rituals so the staff explains the supply chain and the different between normal and their roast, besides other drinks and delicious snacks.I highly recommend it for coffee lovers. Don’t forget to purchase your mug!
MoreFantastic coffee. It is a hipster magnet indeed, however it is a beautiful place. If its quality coffee you seek and you are in SP go here. Period.
MoreThe menu is based on “rituals“ rather than obvious drink/food choices. Great coffee EXPERIENCE to enjoy with a friend or partner for sure!!It can get pretty busy on weekends - just bring a good chat 🙂
MoreLovely place in a lovely neighborhood. Coffee was very good and the waitress took her time to explain the menu. I had the cheese toast without expecting anything crazy but it turned out to be delicious. Almost wanted to have a second one, but its not cheap and I would have paid too much for a coffee break.
MoreLoved the atmosphere and the staff service. Recommend to all. Try and enjoy.
Fairly hard to find as they dont really have any signage, seems a bit like a local secret. They definitely take coffee seriously and to be fair the coffee is very nice, but for nice coffee and a piece of cake you best be prepared to pay for it, this place isnt cheap. The banana cake was nice, but no nicer than anywhere else selling it at half the price. If you really love coffee and you want a decent coffee, then this place might just be for you, if you just fancy a coffee then maybe look somewhere cheaper. Also I do not recommend the hot chocolate, it just wasnt nice.If this review was helpful please give it a like :enjoy.
MoreOk, this is simply the best place I know to have a good cup of coffee in São Paulo. They started as a school for baristas, then extended their services to a coffee shop. The whole experience is great. You choose your coffee — they have a bunch of options from small producers, each of them with different taste qualities for any palate — then you just enjoy the ambiance which is cozy. The lazy Sunday morning is perfect to be paired with that place. It is also good for the ones who need a place to remote work for some hours. At the end, you can also buy the coffee seeds and take part of the experience to your home. I strongly recommend you try that!
MoreA real treat. The folks here are proper coffee gurus and will walk you through the different types of coffee and blends and ensure you have a great hour or two with them. The cheese toasties are also sublime. The surrounding area is also well worth a visit.
MoreGo here with your friends - have a coffee and a special meal - it will cover your souls in a towel of love and cheer up your joy to the rooftop and down the hills of São Paulo again... ⭐️ Cinco estrelas ✨☕️👌🔝✨
MoreThe one hipster coffee place in Sao Paulo that I found. The baristas were very helpful and well educated on the coffee beans for sale in the store. The cappuccino seemed a little bland but Im willing to give this place another chance when I visit next time.
MoreBest coffee in Sau Paulo. Great attention to detail, comfortable seating, happy staff, excellent ambience.
MoreIts a perfect place to work or studying during the afternoon with a perfect natural coffe. Inside the place in front of you they have big machines where the baristas prepare the perfect coffee for you. The place has nothing to envy from Starbucks concept. Here is authentic, nature and well organice to have a nice afternoon
MoreReally nice hidden coffee spot. Good fun for a coffee lover or a hipster blogger/writer. Not your traditional coffee and not as strong as accustom to in Europe but very enjoyable.(Pictured affogato)
MoreOne of the greatest places in the city to find freshly toasted and ground specialty coffees. Also a nice place to get some work done while sipping on a delicious cup of Arabica.
MoreComing from an Australian who works in the coffee industry, in Canberra, these guys know what theyre doing. A great variety of different styles, and brewing methods, to suit all tastes. The coffee could perhaps use a little more oxidation before use, but thats just me being pedantic. Well roasted beans, the best coffee Ive had so far in Brazil.
MoreQuality coffee and nice atmosphere.Overall, the quality here is very nice. We ordered a variety of items to try and all were very good. Only item that we truly did not enjoy was the espresso and panna. Espresso was burnt and once that happens, even the sweetness of the panna can’t cover it. All other coffee drinks were good however. I ordered the biscoito, which was very good. The other dish, bread and butter, was so so honestly. I think ultimately it would’ve been paired better with a different bread than brioche, which isn’t what you typically expect for a bread and butter. Also love the way the place is decorated, and the outdoor space is very nice. Two thumbs up for that.A few small downsides for me: the menu is a bit confusing. We didn’t really understand the first several options prior to getting to what appears to be the main menu. Overall, I think the menu could be clarified more, including food option descriptions (maybe pictures?).Other small downside is they seat you, which is possibly in order to effectively fill their space. However, for me, it gives more of a restaurant feel, rather than a casual, cozy café. As far as this point goes, I don’t really take away from them, as I believe this is more of a personal preference when grabbing café.#sãopaulo #sp #sampa #café #coffee #coffeelab #caffeine #espresso #biscoito #cappuccino
MoreIf you love coffee then don’t miss this place. They have a great variety. Btw its self service!
MoreDelicious. You can compare different coffee side by side which was my favorite part.
MoreBloody good coffee and the best cheese toasty I think I’ve ever had. And I feel bad for rating it down for this reason but it didn’t have tea on the menu at all! As a tea lover who’s boyfriend is a coffee lover it would be nice to enjoy both beverages simultaneously. Small criticism for a great place.
MoreVery good coffee experience. If is your first time, let they known that to help you to discover new flavors. The Coffee has an amazing feature. A cozy place to learn about coffee and drink a real coffee as almost nowhere in town.
Moreincredible coffee and coffee tasting options! great service team!
High quality coffee. A bit too crowded for my taste. My Latte arrived after 10 minutes that all other people in the table had finished their drinks.Corn cake is really tasty. It is nice that they have free fresh water(I guess other places should learn from them).Service can be improved.
MoreGorgeous plants and good coffee. Very cute and decorated and in a really cool neighborhood.Worth a visit!
MoreIf you a coffee lover and happen to be in São Paulo this place is a must. This cafe is serving speciality and very good quality coffee. Having own roastery and roasting beans right in front of your eyes. The staff is very helpful, attentive and know their products well. The cafe has industrial look, indoor and outdoor seating and sell coffee beans roasted in the cafe and all sort of merchandise of their own and other brands.
MoreWish I was there now! Love their ethic (no straws, their "made out of petroleum and wrapped in petroleum or trees"and delicious coffee. The ritual aspect is nice too, your coffee is brought to you and steeped at the table side. Cute back patio like area as well as people watching street views. Cool neighborhood too
MoreThis place is great. They have menus in English (looked like probably other languages as well). I tried the Julianito, it was a cold drink, very refreshing. I want to come back to try more, especially the rituals. The seeing is very nice, and they seem to be very environmentally conscious.
MoreA cozy place with a variety of local Brazilian coffee beans. They offer hand- drip, aeropress and clever for the coffee and various espresso based coffee drinks. Coffee cake was really delicious!!
MoreGreat place to have Brazilian Specialty Coffees while chatting.
I am obsessed with the place. Since moving to São Paulo the only thing I missed was a good Italian style cappuccino. Coffee lab is the place to go for these and any coffee based drink. They also have wonderful desserts. I recommend their Rituals; its an opportunity to compare a good vs bad coffee, to understand what food goes with coffee, etc. Go see for yourself and bring friends. Its a lot of fun and a beautiful location. (Could be a wait)
MoreI would give six stars to it. It was the best coffee shop me and my girl visited in Brazil. We just love coffee and the extras that the shop offered. Staff really know each coffee and they will happily explain what you are drinking by the time you are seeing its preparation. Cozy and very quiet. Perfect place too chill out and get rid of rough Sao Paulo routine.
MoreGood food, good coffee, the service a little overwhelm but its ok. Recomended 100%.
MoreIm a coffee lover and this is probably the best coffee shop I have ever been. They dont only offer excellent coffee drinks but they also share their knowledge about coffee. You can try the "Rituais" to learn the difference of an ordinary coffee to an extraordinary coffee, or how a coffee prepared with an Aero Press compares with one prepared in a French Press (plunger). And although they are very well renowned, they keep an unpretentious and laid-back atmosphere. It is a must go for any coffee enthusiast.
MoreThe best coffee place in São Paulo. Many options of national and selected beans together with great food (try their pão na chapa version).
MoreTruly a great experience to have coffee here. Amazing coffee in a great setting. A must see if you are in the city.
MoreOne of the best coffee shops Ive ever been. The menu might appear a bit confusing at first glance, but youll realize how smart it is.The place actually reminds you a lab. The dynamic of the place is a little different: you should go to kitchen to order and wait on your table.I strongly recommend the rituals: you can try the same coffee prepared on different brewing methods. Also, there are courses you can take there.I definitively would go back there. Multiple times.
MoreSo innovative: they give you options like "try the same coffee as an espresso and a brewed coffee" or "try the same coffee prepared on different brewing methods." Its a great place to come and learn about coffee, not to mention it tastes great, the space is beautiful, the staff is super friendly, and the breakfast albeit simple is one of the best around
