Modern food amid chic decor with Swarovski chandeliers in the concert hall's upscale dining spot.
A mouth watering experience at an eye watering price. If you are lucky enough to be able to afford it, the food is great. The mid show dessert is a touch of class. Just turn up, and its all waiting on you. 👍👍
A surprising gem of a restaurant we visited as part of a package with tickets to a show - 6 of us.The staff were excellent, they couldnt have been more attentive and helpful (wish I caught the name of our waiter as he was a credit to them)We really couldnt fault the food, everyone enjoyed it and also for a pre-show menu there was plenty of choice. We also enjoyed some of their house wine which was very good for a house. Will certainly book a show with Coda again. Thanks!
Had such an amazing time dining and eating at this amazing restaurant. The staff where so helpful and amazing really kinda and making me feel so welcome. The meal itself was mindblowing one of the best beef dishes I have ever had.The wine was so good we actually finished the bottle and just bliss.
For the price I expected better service. Had to ask for a lot of things and many things were forgotten. Staff didn’t seem to know what they were doing! Food was fantastic but service is what let you down!
Afternoon tea with tour. Excellent!
Here for a Prom on our 40th anniversary and had a fabulous meal. Best restaurant in RAH and will ge returning.
Excellent afternoon tea with superb service from our waitress, Margo. Only problem was that it was overpriced - to be expected in Central London, I guess.
Excellent food, beautiful restaurant and great service made an allround wonderful experience
Wonderful food and very good service, afternoon tea is worth every penny
Really lovely restaurant good service starters were small (3 prawnsbut very good. My wife’s pork main was also really nice. However my fillet steak main was all wrong. Tough steak, over seasoned sauce and soggy triple cooked chips. I Sent it back as it was so salty it made me feel a bit queasy. I don’t expect food to come out like this in such a prestigious restaurant. No feedback from the kitchen at all. Shame.
We booked to see Gloria Gaynor in concert at the Royal Albert Hall and booked Cobra to have an early dinner before the concert. We were lucky enough to get a table overlooking the Albert Memorial which was glorious in the afternoon sun and views across Kensington Gardens. The food and service at Cobra was outstanding. Every dish was mouthwateringly delicious and well presented. I started with the green asparagus with parmesan foam which was so tasty, followed by the tournedos of scottish beef which was perfectly cooked and so succulent. I finished with the coconut rice pudding with mango sorbet which was to die for. We were so impressed that we wanted to book again for a concert we are attending next year and could have eaten the whole meal again it was so lovely. 😋 We were served by Margo who could not have been more attentive, warm and friendly. Coda is up there with one of the best meals we have ever had and cant wait to visit again.
Disappointed that it is now run by outside caterers called Rhubarb not the chef himself.Staff were great. Wasnt worth the high prices
Beautiful food, although we used their online booking system they didnt have a record of it. Servers really polite but delays in taking the wine order which didnt get addressed until the main course, an apology was received. I had to ask for a spoon with my soup but they were busy and had squeezed us in.
A lovely place to eat. We had afternoon tea and was delicious. Especially good for vegetarians and vegans.
Good range of food and an excellent place to dine before a performance at the Albert Hall.
Very enjoyable fine dining experience before watching the show at the royal Albert hall. Set menu with options for 2 (£50or 3 courses (£60), with roughly 5 options for each. The food is beautifully presented and delicious. The mains are mostly fish or meat, with a single vegetarian option. The staff were excellent and our waiter Gianpier was particularly attentive and welcoming. I would fully recommend trying this out to make an extra special royal Albert hall experience. You can also order your dessert to have during the interval!
Our afternoon tea experience was marvelous. It was our first time and the staff made us feel very welcomed and comfortable. Food and tea as well as cakes were all delicious. Very reasonable on pocket, too.
Fantastic food within the Royal Albert Hall, lovely atmosphere and great service
beautiful afternoon out food was fabulous an staff were fantastic
Was able to get in last minute before a performance at Royal Albert Hall. This is inside the venue so once you finish you just walk to your seat. The food itself was lovely, I had a three course meal and enjoyed each one. The staff was very friendly and the food came very fast (arrived around 18:30 and was out by 19:15).
Food not as good as expected. We were there for the Cirque show, not very well timed and arranged
Michelin starred restaurant. Restaurant tasteful and arranged so that never really looking at another group on diners. Service excellent, always there but not intrusive. Food, honestly never had better.
Wonderful! Lovely food, attentive friendly staff. Thankyou. Karla is a gem.
We went for Afternoon Tea and it wasnt bad.The sandwiches and desserts were of a standard youd expect. The sandwiches were "safe" varieties so Id like to see them experiment more.We got to have slices of cake from the trolley too. As with most Afternoon Teas, if you like desserts youre going to enjoy it here. The location is pretty great too. If youre lucky, like we were, youll get a view out to Kensington Gardens and the Royal Albert Memorial.I also have to mention the staff: they were very friendly, attentive, and seemed to get genuine pleasure from our enjoyment.
We had dinner here before ( and during the intervalseeing Cirque du Soleil. Both were fantastic. I would regard this restaurant as a destination in itself. Food was perfectly prepared and presented as were the staff. I wonder if we could sneak in for dinner another time after everyone had gone in to a show?Definitely due a repeat visit.
Fantastic service and meal prior to a show
Great service and tasty food before watching the Luzia cirque du Soleil. I would definitely book and eat here again.
Wonderful food very expensive but worth a treat.
We ate here prior to watching the fantastic Luzia show in the Albert Hall. The food was fantastic, lived up to its Michelin Star. The hostess and general service was also top quality. Returning for dessert and a drink during the intermission was a nice option.
Brilliant service (thanks Angelina!), absolutely delicious main course (slow-cooked lamband dessert (pistachio and chocolate mousse), all in a very pleasant atmosphere. Located on the 3rd floor of Royal Albert Hall. Definitely recommended for pre-theatre dinner.
Great place for a bite pre theatre - theyll even hold your table for dessert during interval!
Had dinner here before the Cirque show and it was hugely disappointing. Very over priced for what you get when compared to other higher end restaurants. The food was well cooked, presentation was ok, taste good, but service was very average. An example, 6 tables that were seated after my partner and I were served before us, the bread rolls arrived 2 mouthfuls before wed finished our starter
Wow!!! Is all I can say. This has to be one of the best meals I’ve had. It’s not “cheap” but very week prices for the quality and flavours. Michelin star quality from a Michelin star chef.
From the very warm welcoming through to the desert and drinks at the interval the service was at a level one hopes for (indeed expects to be fair), from fine dining restaurants. The three course meals we selected were a delight both in terms of quality and presentation.Ambience was nice and balanced throughout so all in all it delivered at every level for a lovely meal whilst watching a show at the RAH.We will no doubt be back.
An excellent restaurant in every respect: fabulous views over Hyde Park and the Albert Memorial, attentive and polite staff and of course delicious and beautifully presented food.I dont normally do food pictures, but the Tomato and Courgette Farcie was simply stunning to look at and so meticulously constructed. Oh, it tasted fantastic too!The other great thing about Coda is that you can leave your coats there during performance and pick them up without really having to queue. Also, you can order interval drinks and dessert, avoiding any bar crush.Thoroughly recommend (book in advance).
Really enjoyed the food and service here. Marie our waitress was so helpful. We had ceviche to start which was truly extraordinary. The sea bass as main that was amazing. Unforgettable experience.
Went as part of a show package. Friendly welcoming staff and pleasant restaurant - on my visit only the ingredients let down the main course - lemon sole was mushy not sure how - waitress dealt with it well and provided another option. A great option combined with an event at RAH you can even have your dessert in the interval
What a delicious and utterly fantastic meal we had. The staff and venue are delightful and the food is exquisite. We had chicken and pea purée nfollowed by the Tarte au citron and bannoffie pie. Absolutely delicious. Perfect for a pre show meal
Perfect staff, and service, lovely to be able to go back to the table in the concert interval, would have had 5 stars but my main was not as good as it should have been, my dinner partners dish was overly buttered. We would visit again but have time to discuss our dishes which we would not have had time for them to be addressed and re-done as we sat down at 6.15pm and the concert was to commence at 19.45. Nevertheless a nice and place convenient for any concert being held.
The whole dining experience was first class. Beautifully presented delicious food with excellent service.. Our waitress, Isabel, was very friendly, helpful and professional. Highly recommended.
Our experience of this restaurant was first class from the outset. The staff were attentive and efficient and the food delicious and well presented. This was an excellent start to our evening which progressed to an outstanding concert. All of our previous concerns about the standard of this restaurant have been fully addressed and we look forward your our next visit.Well done Coda!
The staff were very welcoming and friendly, especially our waitress Melania. The food was delicious and it was a perfect pre-concert experience. The cheesecake is to die for!
Really great meal, helpful and friendly staff made this meal truly memorable. We went to see Ovo and were able to order dessert for the interval, which were waiting for us on our return. Excellent food and service, will definitely return.
Fantastic service and delicious food. They went the extra mile and catered for my Vegan wife who is also dairy intolerant by creating her very own bespoke 3 course menu to enjoy on the night. Highly recommend for a pre show meal.
Amazing food and fantastic that there is atasty vegan menu. My husband and I were really impressed with our three course meals before a show. Our waitress was so attentive and knowledgeable about the food and drinks. We even had our dessert during the interval, which was delicious. The vegan options were a real treat. A lovely fine dining experience.
An extremely enjoyable pre concert meal.We enjoyed exceptional service from our waitress Beatrix
We loved the food and the excellent wine. The service is perfect and used to deal with short timing. If, once in a while, you can treat yourself before a concert, then why not?
Had a great wedding anniversary dinner there before concert. Staff very attentive and the light dinner is just right. The decor is very tasteful.
The service was fantastic such attention to detail, the food was exquisite. The chefs really have designed a unique menu with wonderful flavours. Overall throughly enjoyed our experience and will definitely be going again. Great service, great food, great atmosphere. Thank you to the staff at Coda for really adding something special to our evening especially our waitress Angelina who was a star.
Tennis Masters Exhibition was enjoyable but the venue experience was appalling! Suggest the ATP move their event.Extremely long queues for the ladies toilets!!!Don’t get your food & drinks there, bring it in! Stupidly over priced! Unpleasant staff in the Code Cafe! Very snooty with no customer care or service skills. Not enough seating to enjoy the overpriced snacks & drinks. Staff suggested customers should stand in the corridors to consume them. Not ideal for an event that is 85% attended by senior citizens!
