Tasty African food , very old restaurant with experience

The chapati and madazi are not that good as before

I came hear around 4 years back it was grate experiance then but not that good anymore, it was traditional zanzibari food but now its indian bangali, and food qulity not good anymore..🥲 place was not clean and very old ..

It was pretty good. I stopped by because the name intrigued me more than anything else. Did not know it was Zanzibar food. Had some samosas and desert things. Didn’t see anything coconut though. I prefer the Zanzibar restaurant down the street on the corner a little more. But it was good.

Best zanzibari food in the hood.

Sambusa very oily & fell like old used oil, expensive 125biza for one pc! I try beef & chicken not good, i try catlets with fish, no fish its full of potato only, the sauce or chatni full of water so bad, you will have to wait if they receive a phone call. i dont recommend.

Amazing variety! Omani dishes like harees and shuwa and orsiyya. Qabuli, etc.Zanzibari dishes cooked with coconut milk like plantains, cassava, green bananas, kidney beans etc.Bread choices including sesame bread, rice crepes, maandazi, chapati, etc.Meats and chicken and fish.Fresh juices including tamarind, passion fruit, lemon, etc.

You can find traditional east African food and snacks here like Mhogo, Ndizi, Maharagi, Sambosas, Vitumbowa, Bajeya, Kachoori...etc in addition to food from the Omani cuisine. Cold and hot beverages are served until late at night. Outdoors seating is available as well as take away.

The location is good. Liked the food very much and the price is fine. Its an excellent restaurant for people who would like to try delicious Omani and African traditional food.

A good place and as an advice call them to order what you want as the food finishes fast. Just one tiny comment (some foods are burnt some times but they still sell it like sesame breadother than that it’s great.

Good African good. I like vegetables and chickens. Lamb and beef usually looks very tasty and soft however several times i tried. Meat did not cook enough therefore no taste and not pretty to chew like a bubble gum. Sweets, cakes and cookies and also tamarind juice is perfect.

The food was everything but delicious (horrible). And the staff team had gloomy faces with fake smiles and the service was slow .
