A must visit place to see coconut cultivation, its products and culture..However the lady was in front desk asked us to pay Rs 1200 per person which was so unfair..Then she offered Rs 100 per person as we were complaining and dragging the issue further..it was something fishy for all of us..seems she tried to fool us..coconut ice cream maker was out of order..so the visit was not a satisfaction one.

Небольшое предприятие по выращиванию кокосов и их полной переработки.Дают выпить кокосового молока во время экскурсии. Экскурсия стоит около 600 рупий. Показывают как растут, как удобряют пальмы, как сушат орехи и делают масло, как делают ткань из шелухи.Кокосового мороженого не было.Купили дёшево кокосовое масло местного производства и незатейливые подделки из скорлупы кокоса.Если делать нечего - можно сходить.

Its great place to see all the coconut related products and the process. It has all the traditional items and machines to show things have evolved. They provide trip around the coconut cultivation with a guide. Also they have a Shop which sells all the coconut related products.

Very sweet lady called Kema at the counter. We managed to talk iwith a bit of Sinhala and English. The place sells souvenirs like sculptures, keytags, necklaces, and so on. Im told their ice cream is THE best, but the ice cream gets ready by about 11 am or so. Hopefully we can try it before we leave. Its closed on Sundays, but open on other days from 9 to 5 or so. For foreigners, they charge a ticket of I think 600 rupees. They sell some awesome milk toffees too (Im told from cow milk which is a bit funny cuz they can easily do it with coconut milk !)

Nice place on the side of the road. When we visited they didnt have coconut ice cream but they did have some delicious milk toffee. The lady at the counter was very sweet.

Good place showing processing of different parts of the coconut tree. The guiding could be made better. You can also try their coconut ice cream in the end.

Lottle boutique with coconut material used items. The coconut ice cream is a must try which is a signature dessert offered! The sales-woman was very much tamil conversed found difficult communicate in sinhala
