really great Indian food, super friendly owners and very generous portions. We go there at least once a week for lunch. The only downside is that the wait is getting longer because it seems to be getting increasingly popular :)

It is okay, but definitely not worth the 4.9 stars it currently has. Maybe it is the best you can have in Switzerland, hence the high ratings, but compared to places where there is an abundance of Indian restaurants this one cant even compete.Also, the prices are quite high given you only choose 1/4 of what you buy and the portions are a bit small.

Epic homely Kerala/mallu food! The staff are very friendly and will cater to your spice preferences. We had the Kerala parotta, beef curry and prawns curry. All dishes were divine and took us back to dining at home Kerala. Our vegetarian friend claimed the north Indian dishes (paneer matar and dal tadkawerent very authentic but were still incredibly delicious and homely.

The freshly cooked Kadai was a true explosion of flavors. Honestly the best indian meal I‘ve ever had so far.The owners are very professional and nice.I‘m definitely recommending The Coconut.

Would you like to taste a good Indian or South indian food? Then try once here. I have been to many indian restaurants in Zurich but this taste is unique then other indian restaurant. Only take away. NO dine in.

A Hidden gem. Really great food, maybe best indian food in zurich^^ but dont go here for Flair, it is mostly a takeaway Shop.

A Zurich hidden gem. The food feels really authentic and the staff is beyond nice and accommodating. The lunch menus are amazing value for money. Always a go-to when around Altstetten.

6/5Probably the best Indian takeaway in Zurich.The Malabar chicken and Lamb biryani are ace. Owner and is wife are very friendly as well.Perhaps a little far for some, but absolutely worth it notwithstanding.

They have daily menu, with many kind if meat or sauce they don’t name the plate. Portion are good but i would love to know a bit more what I am eating, what is in the sauce, etc.

Probably the best indian restaurant in Switzerland.

Very good taste and quality. I discovered it thanks to a very good friend of me and now I go regularly.They do "Hausgemacht" Indian dishes and taste is always intense and delicious.

Marvelous food. Best paneer I had for quite a while - no frozen rubbery bought stuff - no home made! And of course the menu was having some generouse helpings of rice, vegies, dal and yoghout sauce.

Clean, simple, delicous, healthy and quick professional service. And cheap.

Great food, very friendly people. Owner does the cooking himself. We ordered just one dish and ended up trying everything and chatting with him for 20 min. Highly recommend!

Best Indian takeaway south of Baslerstrasse 😃..

I have tried each option (lamb, chicken, fish, veggieand I must say it is always very good. They do small changes to the receipt but it always taste as a fresh prepared and I love the taste. They also are happy if you bring your own teller for the food. There is not so much place to eat here, rather takeaway, but prices are quite low and I can definitely recommend!

Greatest Indian food in Altstetten. Small, but good selection of dishes. Superfriendly and easygoing staff and fair prices for the size of plates. Very clean and good quality of food. With vegeterian option. Will definitely go there again.
