Went there to get some work done for the day and the service and the food was lovelyWould definitely recommend this scenery to get some work done. The scenery is lovely and fit for the season.It got a bit noisy during lunch time, so if you are someone who wants peace and quite maybe being there during lunch time isnt the best, but otherwise if you enjoy working with some music to block out the noise then you wont be affected

Love this place. Its a lovely spot, especially on a Saturday morning for breakfast and a red cappuccino. The staff are very friendly and service is amazing. Great service, good food and a beautiful setting is what youll get when you visit this place. I recently tried the egg, bacon and chicken liver breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed it. There are plenty of options and a before 9 breakfast special. Go and try it out!

Lovely ambience and really tasty.Had a great Banting/Keto pizza. The 200g base is 15.5% carbs (I checked the box).Downside is that although they continuously said that they make everything in-house, when I asked about the Banting pizza, I saw that its a commercially bought base. 🤷

Somehow, this restaurant is the first thing that comes to mind when I awake on a Sunday, broken and hungover. Its the cosy, comforting garden in the sun to warm my soul, the perfectly spiced chai crush to quench my parched emptiness, and the perfectly yellow and flowing jacquis benedict on crunchy potatoes that has that motherly scrumptiousness to keep my Sunday blues at bay, keeping me going until next time.

We had breakfast here last Saturday. The welcome was immediately friendly and the service prompt and professional. The setting is charming. Our orders arrived in good time and the food was good. It was also excellent value for money. We will certainly be returning, and strongly recommend Cocoa Cha Chi.

This definitely makes the Grade in the Cosy Chic Cafe category.Beautiful interior with picturesque bar and functional wood-burning fireplace in the corner.Tables by the window with the outside view- the best for just chilling and watching life pass by.Went there in the evening and the ambiance was perfect - relaxed, good muted music, the buzz of conversation.Friendly staff and good service.Can definitely recommend this 😉👍

Hot dang!! The very best omelette in the entire western Cape. Trust me. This is a GREAT spot that is flawless in every way. Perfect brunch stop with comfortable seating, not jammed on top of each other like other places. Cool outdoor area with bench seating too. Staff are efficient and polite, and not over attentive. Love it.

Love the name. Cute place. Cant believe I didnt discover it sooner. Hidden away, even though its in plain sight.Flat white was worth it.

Grabbed some takeaway drinks. The service was speedy and on point. They have some nice vegetarian dishes but they are not halal or halal friendly. Maybe some thought must be given to this. Venue is cosy with seating inside and outside. Atmosphere is great.

Favourite spot to meet up with friends for coffee. Friendly service and theyre quick.

Fantastic place, great staff, friendly and welcoming no matter what time you are there. Food is very good and reasonably priced. There is indoor and outdoor seating and it is all very quaint and comfortable. Great place for breakfast, lunch, dinner or just a delicious dessert and a drink. Definitely give it a try, you will not be disappointed.

I absolutely love this restaurant however yesterday I had a terrible experience as one of the waiters decided to try their luck with me which I found very inappropriate & I informed him that its a unprofessional thing to do. Such behaviour should not be allowed!

Every time I visit this place, it gives me more reasons come back. Would definitely recommend their T-Bone steak, with the homemade mayo on the side. For dessert, try out their Choc Chip flapjacks, you wont regret it. Great place to study, catch up with some friends, enjoy a good book and their Spotify playlist is always fire.

Coco Cha Chi has a lovely atmosphere and friendly, outdoorsy decor. We had a good meal. The coffee wasnt anything too special and parking can be a little intimidating. But I will most likely be back to try more from the menu

The service wasnt good at all, we received our food and the sides to our food came 10 min after. My orange juice that I ordered came after I was done eating. I also ordered choc chip flap jacks and got chocolate mint flap jacks instead. I didnt complain about the service but after paying the bill, the manager came to complain about my tip not being enough... wont be coming again thank you✌

Cocoa Chai Chi is a really great blend of entry-level bougie and high-end bohemian - but not in an exclusionary way. The outdoor seating area is great - the fountain and foliage provide pretty consistent cover from the elements while still being pretty, and theres a more indoor section if you hate nature. The wait staff are quick, helpful, and attentive and the food is pretty great. I had the bacon pizza (last one on the menu), wine and I have tried the cake in the past.For anyone looking for somewhere to meet that person you matched with on the dating app of your choice - Id recommend this as a first venue. Its quiet enough for a level of conversation that will leave your senses room to detect those red flags unassailed and, if you opt against a second date, youll have gotten a good meal out of it. Prices are reasonable too.The only downside is that there are periods where parking can be a hassle, but thats an Observatory challenge, and not an insurmountable one.Ill be back often. Hopefully not always on disappointing dates. 😕

I love the chips, they are so crispy but still soft in the middle. The plates a generous and the spice they dusted over the top is perfect!

The best location for a solo dinner inside, some wine, a good book and dessert. Outside seating is a leafy green heaven and makes a wonderful spot for summer afternoon.

A great place to meet up with friends and have a delicious meal or just a coffee. Cocoa Cha Chi’s inside and outside seating areas have an incredible atmosphere. When sitting outside you are surrounded by plants — on the walls, in planters, hanging from the rafters and in a quaint water feature. Inside the restaurant is well decorated with patterned wallpaper, astroturf (interestingly enoughand many more interesting and personable features.

One of the best cafes in this part of Cape Town. The garden itself is worth the visit. The owner takes great care of the plants.They are also one of the few cafes who bake their own bread. So, do try their sourdough bread.Their cheese cake is pretty unique as well with a coconut dash!Lastly, if you have a sweet tooth then definitely try their big cookie with ice cream. Its a huge chocolate cookie with a molten chocolate filling served with two scoops of ice cream.... Heaven for the sweet craving ones...

The food was absolutely lovely. The hot chocolate changed my sons life - his words. My daughter said she would rate you 4.5 out of 5 because she was cold. We had to sit outside as that was the only space available that allowed us to sit at a safe distance from others. Was a bit windy and chilly on Sunday. She said it would have been 5 stars if you had heaters outside.I was there the night before and the pizza I ordered for take away was so great (most of it eaten in the car before driving home because it was so deliciousthat I had to bring the kids for a treat. Who knew it would be our last hoorah before level 4 lockdown.Thank you for the service received both nights. Waiters are friendly and helpful and were kind enough to keep the fire going so we were warm inside.We love the courtyard and the decor. Will definitely be back again during the day so we can update with some decent pics 😊

Lovely interior and fresh food - if you like chocolatey, sweet hot chocolate then you should definitely order that. The waiters are friendly. Definitely a spot worth checking out.

In the past I always had their delicious dessert when I went to this restaurant, but tonight I tried their food. I had a double beef sauce burger, and as self-proclaimed burger fanatic who has high standards for burgers I can say that this burger is definitely up there. Also, the atmosphere is quite calm so its easy to socialize/communicate with whoever youre with, and the staff are friendly.

Absolutely lovely service. Beautiful scenery. Delicious food. Smoking sections for smokers. They offer blankets if youre getting cold while sitting outside. There is three sections, inside, outside and outside smokers section. The cocktails are also really good.

Nice late lunch in the garden. Staff was friendly and helpful. Service was on time and really kept us feeling welcome. Great sourdough sandwich options, tried their bacon and egg. Their own Chai blend is fragrant and tastes spectacular. For dessert I went with their frozen Margherita, partly because it had a little heart next to it, I must say the heart is well deserved. Cheers for the experience. Would recommend for breakfast, brunch, lunch or late lunch.

Cute little garden Cafe, perfect for an intimate coffee or light meal portions are not that big, but are adequate. Staff were not particularly attentive or friendly but remained professional and helpful. Their cocktails are also quite nice.

Great breakfast spot with good coffee and an huge variety of breakfast items on the menu. The list of Eggs Benedict variations is nothing short of impressive. Service was great but perhaps the staff chatter could have been quieter. The outside seating looks like it will be awesome in summer.

One of my favourite go-to restuarants for a lunch or coffee&cake date with peers. Dishes are unique amd flavorful at a reasonable price. I quite enjoy their pastas and nachos (potatoe skins used as the chip). A vibey, quaint setting. Seating inside & outside. Wheelchair accessible and great staff.

Food was on point, service was basic, she did all that was required of her but she had no smile or didnt speak much. The mojito wasnt too fabulous either but was drinkable. Overall experience was good, the manager came and apologized.

The staff are always friendly and the food and coffee is always good. Their freshly baked goods are especially delicious!
