Coco in Rondebosch

Was highly annoyed at the entrance hostess lady that assured us that there was seating inside before paying to get in only to find zero seating, we spent the night on our feet. Ladies bathrooms are horrible. There should be more security/bounce visibility as men kept inappropriately touching women/girls. Too crowded too stuffy.

The place was very crowded. R200 for entrance is a bit much if you have a few tables in the house and most people have to stand there, cant even dance because there is no space to move. Drinks far too pricey, the music was ok. Not what I was expecting.

So freaking fun, I would say its worth getting more of the VIP area though! There are multiple floors and multiple areas to dance, party and wander around. The bathrooms are kept clean and I was definitely impressed with the music! The drinks are a large variety and definitely heavy :-I will be back

This place is LIT LIT! Definitely the move on a Saturday night. Good music and great vibes. They played a lot of current hip hop, good throwbacks, some dancehall, and lots of Afrobeats. We celebrated my friends bday here and got a section for R5000, which is super affordable compared to the clubs in the US. VIP was low key crowded so we chose to be seated upstairs and had a ball. We had so much fun here we went two nights in a row!

This club is wack DO NOT GO HERE. The DJ literally played a couple songs 3 times within the night. They focus solely on the VIP side which is bad business. Instead of speading the people out to make it look like the club is at its full capacity they let a bunch of people squeeze into VIP. Management need business advice.

Always a fun night out. Great music, great atmosphere and people. They have coat check, in case you want to hang up your jacket and dance the night away. I never leave disappointed.

Expect a more hip-hop/Rnb/house/dancehall vibe on a Friday and a more pop music vibe on a Saturday.Definitely more upper echelon than other clubs in Cape Town. Also more likely to be full on the weekends.

THE nightclub in town. Great vibe. Fridays hip hop & rap clientele.Saturday R&B clientele.Gold bar downstairs is a very cool vibey venue.

Entrance quite expensive but drink prices are quite reasonable! Music was good but mainstream with two dance floors. Great seating opportunities for tables but nothing if you just decide to show up without bottle service. Great views and friends fly personnel. Pete are posh, young and the typical pick up crowd. No outdoor space...

I hadnt been to a club in so long so I was nervous about going here lol but boy oh boy was I entertained. This club is trendy for both young and old and if you can afford the VIP section, try it for you will be ompressed.

Coco on Loop street was a different experience. If you going try get onto guest list. Entrance as stated by a barman (close friend of mine for yearsis R200. Thats a lot of money up friend. Also the drinks are marked up and pricey. Upstairs and down stairs areas, playing different music. Vip sections. R&B and hip hop was the main genres that night for music.Went there once and thats enough. Will never go again. Also my partners cellphone was stolen out of her bag. So if you go. Keep your valuables closes.

An awsum place to dance, drink and njoy. Although small section at each floor but very very good crowd.

Yuck. Leads to drunkenness and sickness in the morning. All for a lot of noise and vanity...no good for the human condition.

If you are looking for turned up night Coco is the place to be. Great music, vibe and people. I will definitely be back!

Im from New York and the hip hop scene here was good. Music was straight from the states and I had a good time. Drinks were pricier than the other bars but worth it if you trying to hit a bar during late night hours.

I had apprehensions about how fun this place actually is due to an unsavory experience the first time I went in which I was informed that my shoes didnt have a high enough heel. I go to clubs to dance, high heels are not the best clubs to do this.However if you are comfortable in those shoes or youre a guy, then you might manage.The music is vibey but the place does get pretty packed with very specific places where you can feel the much needed aircon.
