Cocky Pub Hongdae in Koyang

Was looking forward to going to the bar next door (Thursday Party), but the security man wouldnt let me in without Photo ID (Im in my 40s - HELLO)...Anyway. We settled on Cocly Pub and had a great night...Great service, relatively good priced drinks, good food snacks and Beer Pong along with Darts...

Amazing atmosphere and music... also the best burger I had in korea hands down....

Better than most foreigner pubs

It was okay. Didnt eat, only drank. The atmosphere wasnt too busy, which was kinda nice but the drinks werent great - tried some of the cocktails and they were too sweet.

It was very nice going back to this bar. The drinks might seems a bit overpriced to some people for hongdae but it has a good atmosphere and kind workers as well.

Ordered straight whiskey there. Bartender ( fat foreigner guymixed it with water. Be careful! Strongly do not recommend that place to anyone!

Awesome vibes! They’ve got beer pong, food, and a great drink selection. Also, their staff is really cool! Very foreigner friendly and definitely coming back the next time I visit Seoul 🤘🏽

Nice chilled bar with games like darts and beer pong. Wasnt too packed on a Friday night.

I went here to watch the F1 (Formula 1 which they said they could show. Unfortunately they just tried to use an unofficial streaming site which kept freezing. I missed the start and gave up after 10 minutes and went somewhere else. Id rather theyd just said they dont have that channel than try and do something unofficial and fail meaning I missed key points when I could have made other arrangements. For what its worth they seemed to manage the football without any freezing.

Affordable drinks; fun staff; crazy burger discount between 6 and 8 (pm).Side note: A lot of the people who left one star reviews caused problems and were banned from the bar.

Terrible service and very rude staff. Especially the female owner. We went in to play beer pong, and as we were leaving, one of the foreign guy staff cussed us out for accidently dropping a few cups on the ground. Then, went on to pushing my friend out of the bar as we were leaving. Then the crazy female owner came out to cuss us out as we were leaving. Food was terrible too. We ordered fries and it literally tasted like ramen. Avoid at all costs. Terrible management and staff, terrible service, terrible food, terrible time.

The beer used for the beerpong is very mediciny and the outside deck is kind of void of any vibe as the music from inside the pub is inaudible.A good alternative would be the Thursday party next door, but if the place is too packed (which it is most of the time on weekendscockys okay to go grab a drink or two.

One of the worst pubs of my life. The staff does not care about its customers and treat you very badly. However, there is a good bar right next to it called thursdaynight. This one is much better and youll have a good time there!

Honestly this is the worst pub i have ever been in. The owner is completely respect less. Just go to the pub next to it called Thursday night! You will have a much better time there!

Very rude staff. I went there by myself and ordered a drink, and a foreign waitress there served me chips that i didnt order. I asked the waitress if its for me and she said yes. I thought it was on the house or some kind of basic service they offer so i took a few and then this female manager came to me and asked very aggressively if i ordered it and I said no but the waitress served it for me. Then the manager said I stole their food that I didnt order. I asked her what she wanted from me and she said pay for it or she will take away the food. Serving the food/drinks to the wrong customer happens easily, but you dont treat the customer like a thief when its your serving mistake. I used to go there regularly but since that they i never went back. Other than that, staff are just very pushy in general, they keep asking you if you wanna order anything until you order another one even when you said youre good.

Had a good time in here with friends. It serves good beer and during happy hour you can get some pretty impressive deals on drinks. We got 2 gin and tonics for 10000. Needless to say we were happy:)

Good bar to find other foreigners. Staff speak fluent English and drink prices are normal

This place is so amazing, you will verry enjoy to be here.. take way and stop in Hongik University station. This station is in line no.2( green lineexit 9.

Whatever you do, dont use their toilet if youre not buying drinks. They will literally block you from leaving until you pay them a tip. These people have no chill (I used to go there fairly regularly)

Nice pub but they cant pour a pint. Way too much head but apparently thats normal? The atmosphere was pretty good and great location. Lots of students both international and Korean.

Great pub, food until late night.Equipped with darts (2and beer pong (3). Frequently visited by visitors, crowded on Fridays & Saturdays.

Cheap Czech beer, what else do you need to know??? Kozel pale is way to go! (The black one is also nicr, but the korean cinnamon adaptation is so damn weird)

Too many people, not enough room to even walk let alone carry a drink from place A to place B. Drinks are strong so thats a one of two stars for them. The other star is the security guards in the front. They were helpful to me when I asked where another bar was and they were very kins. The bartender here seemed desensitized to customers and just rolled her eyes when I ordered.

Good place for foreigners and Korean college students to hangout during the weekend. Drinks are as expensive as back in the US for a pint.

Nice pub to play darts or beer pong. The music is pretty loud but they have plenty of room for large groups. I had a good time there as I constantly won at darts against my friend Romain, although hes not really good at it to be fair.

Friendly staff and reasonably-priced drinks. We had a great time there on New Years--no cover and they gave us a bunch of photo props, poppers, etc.

One of the best bars in Hongdae by far. Foreigner-friendly and beer is reasonably priced (go for their signature Kozel Dark with Cinnamon). It was usually very crowded around/shortly after dinner time with people going for bar food, but usually perfect for a group between 10pm and 2am

Prices not bad. Drink variety good. But it is also a typical foreigner bar in Korea so that comes with its own negatives.

Cool pub with darts, pool tables and beer pong. Wings on a Wednesday are super nice and great value.

Food is hot and delicious. Freshly made which I appreciate. Go during drink special time. Great place to pregame before your night starts.

Less crowded on weekdays for a quiet evening with friends or pregame. A lot of people on Fri/Sat. Ladies Night on Thursdays with unlimited tequila, gin, vodka and rum. Good food.
