Nice place (decor Service was slow considering 90% empty on new years eve .My steak was tough like leather and my sons Garlic bread had no garlic in it.Food not up reasonable standard considering cost . We wont go back as others serve better .

Horrible. Dirty fries include some overcooked saturated in fat onions and some cheap grated cheese. Bread so dry that a pigeon would probably refuse to eat it. Stay away. Cannot believe how much we paid for such cheap and nasty food.

Great looking venue with really good food, sadly 3 stars as the staff cant be asked. I was served a drink with a spoon with a big lump of some sort of food leftover.. Pretty disgusting experience. Then asked for something twice to never get it. I dont think Ill be back any soon.

Really enjoyed our last visit, service was mixed but once sorted out by management our waitress was excellent. Theres a good menu with a good choice of food, good drinks menu including cocktails, varied gins and your normal standard drinks and soft drinks. I have dined inside and out, on the last visit we sat outside in the warm afternoon sunshine overlooking the bots in the marina, a perfect setting for my G&T. Pricing is slightly above average but worth it based on location and quality. Very good coffee but no dairy alternatives. We will return, recommended.

Probably my favorite restaurant chain. Never had a bad meal and lots of great meals. Good value with voucher. 2 4 1 cocktails in the afternoon.Whats not to like ?

I went there with a friend and the staff was very rude. I went there first time, they gave us the menu and started laughing at me for some strange reason. When I sat down they kept laughing at me. Every time I turned around they pulled a funny face. It made my friend and I very uncomfortable. I ended up chucking the menu on the table and left without ordering. The customer service was very bad, not welcoming, and I felt they were laughing at my accent as I don’t have a british accent. I don’t think I will be going there again. Staff is so bloody rude!!

The service was very good, greeted as soon as I entered the restaurant by the front of house manager. She was very polite & professional. We ordered a couple of pizzas, very nice, cooked fresh. Overall good value for money. Looked after by Emily, Maria & Frank - all very good!. Well done

No mash on order, only frozen chips. This was disappointing as I always order mash with my steak. Steak was nice but it wasnt £24 worth of a steak. I dont like my steak charred but it would have been great for someone who does. Cooked perfectly. Frozen onion rings. Takes 2 minutes to make fresh. Peppercorn sauce was tasteless and runny. Service was very good and the waiter was very polite.

The food came really quickly and the waiting staff were attentive and friendly although we didnt get acknowledged while waiting to be seated upon arrival. We actually thought of going somewhere else! The food was tasty although the rocket in my salad had gone off days ago and the burger was quite burnt. We had to wait for at least 30 min to get the bill and pay.

Used to be really good and used to eat here alot last time we went they had to ask us what we ordered after we had made the order. My food came out but my partners didnt. My food had too much bbq sauce on it, seemed like they had emptied a full bottle onto the plate could only taste bbq and nothing else, my fiance food arrived about 10 minutes after mine her food was fine she enjoyed it. We ordered desserts and my order came out correct my partners came out wrong not sure if it was just an off night, usually the food and service has always been amazing.

Over cooked steak twice, and then said the steak actually looked rare under the kitchen lights but mediun /well done outside. then brought out the completely wrong replacement meal. When asked to to redo a drink that had a slice of grapefruit in it, after we first asked not to have the grapefruit. They then took it away and just removed the slice to then insist it was a fresh drink.Would never visit this restaurant again.Would still visit another coast to coast.

I went here with my partner for a meal out. We used the taste card so recieved 50% off our meals. The food was ok but came out far too quickly to have been cooked. The burgers were tiny and the waffles I was looking forward to were blatantly microwaved. They were rubbery and inedible. I ate the sauce and chocolate around them. The only positive were the staff. The server was lovely but you could tell he knew the food wasnt great.Will not be returning

Had Mac n cheese balls as starter they were disgusting but I ate them to be polite. They didn’t taste like mac n cheese at all. Then for a main I asked the waitress if the chicken wings were nice... she told me they were which is a lie I ate a few to not be rude but they were burnt and rubbery (like muscle or ligament). I dined with 3 others and they didn’t like their food either :( big waste of money 4 Pepsi’s, 4 starters and 4 mains added up to £97 biggest waste of money. Should of waited 15 minutes to be seated at Nando’s! Don’t waste your money. Only thing I enjoyed was my Pepsi

Nice meal . For a change we werent rushed between courses. Which is a nice change in a restaurant.Food really nice. Only be aware the garlic bread is huge ( but very nice if having a starter. Also very family friendly.

Wow! Really enjoyed the food here. Nothing extravagant but great American style food. All delicious, ample and well presented.The dinning area is lovely, comfy booths and some great American paraphernalia around the walls. Friendly staff and happy to help.Ideal date night or day. Has a nice vibe.Prices are very reasonable. Looking forward to going again.

The staff here were an absolute Delight really lovely attentive and polite happy and smiling and super duper helpful.The food was absolutely top-notch and we got a fantastic deal as well brilliant we will definitely be going again strongly recommended A++

Bit on the expensive side even with taste card however the food was certainly fresh and cooked to order, staff were nice, atmosphere was warming and a good variety on the menu, only gave 4 stars as this is more of an occasional style place to visit rather than a regular visit style restaurant as that suits me better, would still certainly be back here though. Really good¡!

Absolutely rubbish food! I can’t get over how much 3 years has changed, the food used to be amazing, I used to talk about how good the food was and show pics of the steak and the bbq melt, on the 13th October I went with 17 other people, the food portions were tiny the food tasted boring, I’m guessing they opted for cheaper products because the food I had bbq melt was nothing like I ever had before 🤬 the burgers had different buns which were cheap! The staff looked depressed! To think i kept banging on about how good it was I looked like a right idiot

We have visited C2C a few years back and had a decent meal. We went back last evening and were not impressed. The starters (chilli squid and prawnswere fresh...out of the bag!... and unpleasant. My wifes burger was WELL well done, the bun was burnt and the cheese was untouched by heat! My burger was no better than Burger King (and I dont really like those either!We were in company and loathe to complain, watching the kitchen staff, these people look like trained reheaters....One positive, the waitress was very polite and smiley (£10 tip well deservedThere are better places to spend £111.00! Sorry C2C its a NO!

A very pleasant casual diner serving a variety of interpretative classics. Service friendly and efficient, and coupled with great food and an atmospheric mise en scen.

This place has gone seriously down hill. We had breakfast here and it was awful. The sausages were like they had sat out for hours, so hard, you could barley get your folk in them. Tomatoes the same, practically raw. On the menu there were described as herby not a herb in sight.£3 for a small apple juice that was mainly ice. We shall not be returning.

Visited on a Saturday evening to celebrate my Sisters birthday. It was quite busy had a short wait for our order to be taken but a big thumbs up to the chefs as food was lovely, ordered the southern fried barbecue chicken burger with chips it was so tasty and moist. Great venue overlooking the boats in the Marina. Would deffo recommend.

It did take about 25 ish minutes to get our waitress for the initial drinks order she said "I can over because I could see your annoyed face" she also didnt know of find out if there was baby change facilities (thank god there was, a bit of an emergency!But after all that the drink Scarlet OHare was so nice and the food was so so good. Brought my enjoyment back up. If we had better service (in wasnt packedit would be an easy 5 stars!! Go here for amazing food!! Seriously!!

Nice restaurant with nice food. Service is quick and friendly. Bit disappointed with the vegetarian options particularly as theres no vegetarian salads, so had the adapted Caesar salad with halloumi. The halloumi was little undercooked and the whole salad was swimming in caesar dressing. Not sure about a poached egg either. Cocktails were good but disappointed theres no happy hour on a Saturday

First visit to this restaurant despite visiting the Marina semi-regularly. It is indeed a north American type restaurant. Pretty standard - nothing special.That said, we had breakfast and with our Gourmet Card, received 50% off the entire bill which certainly made it worth while.Would I pay full price??? Probably not but the servings were sufficiently sized and the service was good.

Visited last night. Seated quickly by friendly staff who accommodated the 5.5 of us well. Took a while to take our order for drinks and food. Then the waiting started, drinks arrived reasonably quickly but the “nibbles” took much longer. Mains eventually followed, I estimate 1.5 hrs from order to delivery. X1 cremated rack of ribs (rejectedx1 fishless Gumbo (as has been reported by other reviewers), x1 burger with added hair relish and children’s Fajitas with rubberised chicken (rejectedOh and don’t order a child’s drink, £2.50 for around 200ml of juice!!! So in summary, not the best and even after the sizeable discount offered it was still expensive for what it was. Oh and of the 7 tables in use outside, 3 all had varying level of issues with their orders. Will be avoiding in future. Staff saved it from 1 star rating.

Went here late one evening to try their deserts as we had heard great things. They did not disappoint! The caramel pecan pie was up there with the best deserts I’ve ever eaten! Staff were brilliant and really polite, the place had a discrete American military theme about it.Didn’t try the food but the desert menu was something special, milkshakes weren’t as thick or flavoursome as we had hoped as we heard from others they were the best in town.Thumbs up from us!

Dont order the Gumbo! It was absolutely tiny and a £15 meal. We were in shock. When we challenged this, we were told that we couldnt have any extra as thats how it is and the chef didnt have enough stock, the waiter even said he thought it looked like a normal meal, I cant explain how tiny it was. 3 prawns and it was more like a soup. We were originally told we could have extra and were kept waiting, only to be told we couldnt have it after all after waving the staff down. Wont come back due to this customer service and absolute rip off price. Coast to Coast is NOT an a la carte restaurant, this was an excuse to be stingy.

Nice food and good service. Slightly spoiled by slow service and my fiance having to wait for her food, despite it sitting on the Hot-Plate for 5mins. I had to prompt the waitress to collect it.A little work to be done, but on the whole a good meal.

Did really like it here love any sort of American dinning ... did have to ask staff 4 times for mayo though but there were really busy ... also food was good but avarage tasting ... didnt feel my burger had much flavour ?? Other than that was great and then the waitress asked me if o had the app when I went to pay ... I told her I didnt she told me to download it as I can get 40% off my Bill ... woth 7 of us eating I was estatic and felt very gratfull to the waitress as I doubt all of them would of done that she saved me like 70 quid x

Not worth the money paid. Paid £6+ for 3 potato skins which were hard. The chicken meals were more bread crumbs than chicken and the pancakes were not warm during the desert. Clearly under staffed with the wait periods and felt sorry for my waiter who was running around like a headless chicken.In total not a great experience especially for a special occasion such as celebrating my 4 year anniversary with my gf. Left feeling overcharged and unimpressed. Will not be back and will be choosing places like TGI Fridays over Coast To Coast

Went there on a cold and wet Monday night. Place look closed but was open. Blinds draw and looked gloomy inside. Lovely friendly waiter who was attentive and efficient despite being the only waiter on duty. Food took a long time to arrive. There were on two other tables occupied. Chicken wings were reheated and covered in too sweet barbecue sauce. Chips were perfect. Chicken on Caesar salad also reheated and tough on outside. Otherwise a nice place but decor fussy and overdone and depressingly dark.

Food was fantastic very very hungry and totally fulfilled expectations. The double burger was amazing and the peppercorn sauce the best I have ever had. Also made use of happy hour. A great birthday dinner

Absolutely appalling experience this lunch time, dont go there. Arrived for a late lunch - restaurant half empty. Waited good 5 minutes to be seated - bar guy finally comes over and proceeds to make a phone call before engaging us, then says "well id better show you to your table if no one else is going to" Menus arrive and waitress takes drink order, 20 minutes pass, no sign of drink or waitress returning to take order. Track down waitress who takes order and asks anything else - we reply drinks would be good - she looks at us with disdain and says "there is only one barman" what kind of response was that. We sit further 5 mins and can see bar, no sign of drinks at all. We left st that point and went to the very friendly Cafe Rouge short distance away. Will never return - dysfunctional service, rude staff.

Meant to leave a review before now but totally forgot. Visited in July while away for the weekend. I was in a wheelchair & thought as it was quite small i was worried about getting seated but the manager (Im presuming it was the managerwas totally lovely & told us to go wherever we felt comfortable. After a few minutes we were asked for our drink order. After a misunderstanding I was given the wrong drink but the waitress apologised & replaced it quickly & with no charge. Food came really quickly. Freshly cooked, with the biggest burger Ive ever seen!! Staff lovely, food lovely & great service. Only tiny negative is the chairs were a bit tired & uncomfortable but will definitely visit again when back in November.

Pretty good, the family all liked it, good atmosphere and view. The only downside is the length of time waiting for drinks that have been ordered and ready to go on the bar. For the second round i had to go and lift them off the order tray as it was over 10 minutes sitting in my eyeline

Me and a few friends came to Brighton for a little holiday. We decided to eat out on our first night as no one ever wants to cook then. We entered with no problems which was good. When we ordered drinks we received them in dirty glasses which was sorted out eventually after waiting about 25 minutes. We then went on to order some food. The food was nice dont get me wrong but what lead later wasnt. After returning home after our meal and a explore round the local shops. Me and my partner who both had a burger were starting to feel a bit rubbish. We had been travelling so thought we might just be tired so went to bed. At around 12am we both awoke with dodgy stomachs. This then lead on to 24hrs of S&D. We both had all the symptoms of food poisoning. We hadnt eaten anything else that day that could lead to this sort of illness. Would definitely not go here again not worth it!!

As said by others... Extremely slow service. Food experience pretty poor despite the nice menu. Need renovation (see pic).

The food was very nice, although a bit expensive. The restaurant had a good atmosphere, decorated tastefully and the bathrooms were clean with music playing. The service on the other hand was very poor, it seemed they were ignoring us half the time. Food was just plopped on the table willy nilly. Very disappointed with the service.

Went with two friends. Dreadful pizza. Cold and smothered in BBQ sauce at £11.00. tasted awful. Prawn starters were dry and tasteless. My friends burger was cold inside. The only positive comment was that the cocktails were tasty at £6.00. This is the first time Ive ever complained about a restaurant but it was just poor quality food at an expensive price. Definately wont go there to eat again.

I was looking for a place to have breakfast with my friend and we def found a good one! Breakfast was delicious, i had the pancakes with egg bacon and maple sirup and my friend the breakfast bun and all for £10. The lady who served us was lovely and I will highly recommend it!

Frankie and Bennys style restaurant. We had good and soft drinks, the food was hot and only average quality. Service was a little slow, despite there being hardly any customers. On the plus side, there are a lot of choice on the menu.

Visited on Sat 6th August. Very disappointed. Had good meals here in the past but this time it was bad. Firstly we waited too long for our drinks then the lime was missing from a lemonade and lime. The choices on the menu have been much reduced. Our starters took ages, then one of the starters which was served on a wooden board had a load of butter stuck to the underside. The calamari was almost burnt. Then the mains were ok but the side of onion rings were cold and soggy. There were 4 of us and the bill was £113. Expensive for what we got! We wont be back.

Food was ridiculously expensive for the portions given. The prices were definitely misleading as it showed them to be one price and then charged another. As well as this, waitress kept rolling her eyes even before we had been seated - if she doesnt want to work here then thats on her. Overall, very bad experience and I would definitely not recommend coming here unless you have money to burn.

We have been here so many times and love it every time. Never once had a bad experience and we find the food really really tasty. Because its so popular, I usually book, otherwise there may be a 20 minute wait for a table, but you can always have a drink and wait in the bar. Breakfasts are also really really good! I am quite fussy about where I eat and as long as you like American food, I honestly dont think you can go wrong going here.

We had breakfast yesterday morning (2 8 2015 ). The experience was not good. We waited 15 minutes to have our order taken,another 25 minutes before our breakfast arrived and a further 10 minutes before our coffee arrived. The breakfast was not up to its previous standard, the sausages were overcooked, there was only half a pot full of baked beans, it was luke warm. The portions overall were very small, it looked as if the portion size had been reduced to keep the price the same. We will not be returning

Just been for a fabulous family meal, never been looked after so well, the staff went out of their way to look after us, the food was delicious.. lots of choice for the children too. Lovely fun and friendly staff which goes along way to enjoying a family meal.
