Small bayside park with a swimming beach, also featuring a boathouse, playground & picnic area.
Nice park n beachI go there to take my dog for a swim
Hidden gem. Small, but cozy park! Great place to swim and enjoy a paddle. The park offers a small beach front, dock for fishing, playground, bathrooms and a large open area for activities. Hidden beach in the Bellevue area. Love it!
Quiet beach that was kinda tucked away. Plenty of lifeguards and life jackets. Guards where not super helpful with questions or concerns. Really appreciated the ramp to get down to the dock, but sidewalk has a 1-6in lip to get onto the stair area. Difficult with a wheelchair to get down to the water.
painting from life at first time
Loved it and its amimedities are very clean and well kept. 👌 🥰😍🤗
Great dog park, but watch out when your pups are in the water - hidden rocks and higher waves from boat traffic on sunny days provides some murky opportunities for hurt paws when jumping in from the sand.
Small beach with around 15 parking spots. 2-4 lifeguards. Very clean and tidy
Great beach in Bellevue! Water is clean, there’s always space to swim/sunbathe. Not as crowded as Meydenbauer or Chism.
Small, hidden gem of a park on the water.
Other than the construction going on, its a great little place to have lunch outside.
Surprisingly calm place with decent maintenance…have a small kids play area…decently maintained lawn and flowers…and few desks and benches for food…just enough a park to contain few families at a time…
Beautiful calm place for a family picnic, parking can be a problem as it is limited
Great place to relax. Came here to start my paddle boarding journey on Lake Washington
Dog owners, please take care of your furry friends and keep them on leash. Otherwise, a beautiful place to enjoy sunset
Clyde Beach Park is a lakefront neighborhood park on a slope. There is lake access, a grass lawn and a small playground. Restrooms on-site too. Not quite comparable to the much bigger and nicer Meydenbauer park down the road, but it is indeed a pretty little park itself.
A tiny little park in Bellevue. Quite serene
Cool place but little parking...
One small and quiet park, on the shore of lake Washington.
Nice peaceful place
Small peaceful public park on Meydenbauer Bay. Swimming area, a few picnic tables, a play area & restrooms. Usually plenty of parking.
a great place to have a picnic and look at Maydenbauer Bay. Theres a playground for children and a dock for swimming and fishing.
Came here on a Saturday afternoon, walked from Meydenbauer Park down the street where we parked. The park is really small, has a roped off area for swimming but the water didn’t look very deep. There was a lifeguard when we were there, and I saw a person fishing and people picnicking.
Great views and quiet area. Entrance to the parking is a little steep, but there is ample parking for a small park.
Mini beach 🏖 with a lot of kids and people picnicking and boating 🛶 the water was ok clear and gets sorta warm and there’s rails to hold you up if you just want to float by the docks.!! me and my friend enjoyed ourselves and my fur baby practiced swimming out here !! ♥️ ♥️ ♥️
I went to go see the plants and they have varieties of them. Very nice to stay for a picnic. The grass also is in a slope maybe you can roll down hill and have fun that way too. (I wanted to try but couldnt mess up my dress)
A beautiful beach park that is next to a convenient bike route from downtown ❤️ This park is much smaller than Meydenbauer beach park but they are all in the same neighborhood so you can choose depending on the day, weather and crowd i guess.
Well maintained and less crowded.Beautiful view.
Beautiful view of Lake Washington. Has a cute playground for kids and a couple of picnic benches. We went on a sunny day in December and it was perfect since it wasnt busy. Definitely going to come again in the warmer months.
A nice little park suitable for the local neighbors from the surrounding area. Parking can be really difficult in the summer, but that keeps attendance at the park very low. This park is well maintained.
Nice view but "beach park" is a little misleading and the area is pretty small, I would recommend going to meydenbauer beach park instead since its so close
The view is beautiful for an afternoon walk with the boy and dog. Its super small and I’m not sure what qualifies as a beach. It seems more like a rocky walking out point. The view on a clearer day would be pretty amazing just don’t expect a sandy beach to hang out at.
tiny, no sandy beach, water quality is dubious. But its really scenic worth the 2 stars
A nice, quiet spot. Steps lead down into the water, theres a little dock where people fish, and a cute playground. One of my favorite quiet spots when I visit Bellevue.
Very pretty park right on the water. Theres a nice swimming spot with a lifeguard, a good grassy area, and a little playground. ❤️
Family friendly environment. Came here at around 7pm and saw families having dinner by the staircases facing the beautiful sunset. Would love to do the same on my next visit!
A nice park with bathrooms that are open as well as a water fountain which is off for the winter months. It has a small playground in addition to a dock and steps down to the water. It is also where the Sea Scout Ship Argo is docked. The parking is limited (about 15 spotsand often fills up on nice summer days. Also be careful when entering and exiting the park by car as the entrance is at a steep angle from the road which it comes off of and you can easily bottom out your car on the angle. In the early morning and evening you can often find a person fishing off the end of the dock adding a nice peaceful relaxing atmosphere.
Every time I come here I have a nice experience. Is so relaxing that is hard to describe. Very peaceful, beautiful and scenic. Parking is the con when is busy (specially during weekendsbesides that you are going to have a breathtaking view and a moment of joy!
Beautiful and quiet perfect place for a picnic!!!
Really cute, quaint park. Has a small waterfront but grass area. The views of the houses and water are really nice. Also has a play area and parking.
Nice park just a bit small for swimming
(not really a swimming area/ beachbut a nice place to relax/picnic, lay out, read a book. I took my floatie out once in the water, but you are better off going to the Sound or one of the surrounding tons of Lakes where there are no motor boats. This is in a residential neighborhood, also.
Came here on a beautiful sunny day in Jun 2018. Small area, but well maintained with a cordoned-off swimming area and lifeguard. Would definitely visit again.
I walked here one weekend afternoon with the boyfriend. Really nice beach park, looks beautiful. Its kind of small but very peaceful and just so pretty. I wanted to catch the sunset there but the trees blocked much of it.
Very nice place, running distance from Bellevue downtown with beach
While I would like to rate this park based on its amenities, I cant get past the experience of having my car broken into, and finding the Bellevue police entirely unresponsive. The park itself is conveniently located, the swim area is well designed for small children, and the presence of public restrooms and a shower are all great features. However this is a very active prowl area where criminals are most likely hiding in their cars watching you park to see if you specifically hide anything in the trunk or under a seat, glove box, etc. so they can go straight at it once you walk down to the beach. Through my experience which involved the theft of an Ipad I purposefully placed in the trunk upon arrival, likely in plain view of someone hiding out watching, I have heard of dozens of additional car thefts at the park. Its a lovely park; but they need to put up security cameras or permanent security.
Excellent spot for a picnic with the family. Grassy area for laying out; some picnic tables available. Swimming area monitored by a lifeguard until 7PM. We had no problems finding parking, but we didnt arrive until about 6PM.
check out this area. as stated by others this is an extremely well maintained park with small swimming area, very peaceful. There are a number of larger parks nearby that offer similar situations so if one has no parking keep going to the next.
A beautiful small Park, one you may not know about but should make it a point to visit. The gassy Hill to the water is a great place to read a book or soak up some sun. The dock and stairs into the water make it perfect for a swim.
This is an amazing park, at the time I went it was not overwhelming full. The park offers public restrooms... Probably some of the cleanest you have ever seen for it being open to the public. The park also has a section for swimming in the lake. It has a dock and plenty of seating. The view of the lake is just amazing. The park offers some toys to play on. Mostly a jungle gym and slides. I do not recall seeing a swing set. There is a large area to let your dog run around playing fetch, or just relax under in the shade of the trees. This park is also a great place for a photo shoot be it with the water as a backdrop or the beautiful gardens
