Club culinario toscano da Osvaldo - Restaurant in Florence, Italy
Little disappointed in the dishes we ordered. Good but not exceptional! Wine and spinach great.
Excellent the best place to eat in Firenze. Food is delicious and Damiano service was amazing every single plate and desserts more than amazing 🤩 a great surprise in Florence. Highly recommended 5 Mexicans can prove it.
Food is not just ok, it is really delicious, you feel the difference with a regular place when you take a bite. Service is good as wellThe portions are not large though
I had no idea fussili can taste like that! Best. Pasta. Ever.
Excellent service. Marco was the best waiter since we came to italy. Food was superb. Bravo
Cozy place with friendly service. The portions were not big enough and unfortunately they didnt have any more wine of the day. They were able to help us with a vegan dish, and they even traded non-vegan ingredients for vegetables 👏 (not the one in the picture though)
Great food and excellent service, definitely not a tourist trap
We arrived close to closing time and the staff were so accommodating towards us. They were very welcoming and helpful throughout the dining experience. We had an amazing meal accompanied by a spectacular wine and a smooth espresso to complete the experience. Although it was past closing time we were still offered the option of dessert which made feel like we were not being rushed. Overall it was a memorable experience and one I could recommend to anyone.
This was our last meal in Florence and the place was recommended by a very nice waiter we met in a bar nearby. We honestly left the place with mixed feelings and some frustration. It was very nice for us to try original pasta dishes that we didn’t see in other places, but the taste was not truly memorable and the portions were really too small, even when considered with a second dish. Same with desserts, we were happy to try traditional recipes but none of them surprised us. The main disappointment was the tiramisu which was a way too liquid. I checked some reviews afterwards and ours was definitely different that usual. I still lesve 3 stars because the waiters were very nice and professional.
Cozy atmosphere in a small place at the centre of Florence. The food was really worth it,although it took a long time for the main dishes to arrive at the table, around 1 hour. Maybe it was just unfortunate, because the other tables were served right on time . There was a variety of wines to choose from in good price range.
Food is generous and delicious. Service was good
Very delicious meal and very attentive and courteous staff. Would definitely eat there again :)
Fantastic dinner here. Highly recommend a visit.
Went here on my last night, if I had to recommend only one Florence restaurant it is here
Great food and good service. I’ve dined here a few times and it’s always been a lovely experience. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be going back.
Try this place for a bit of a twist on classical Tuscan cuisine. Each dish was wonderful, but I especially recommend the spirelli with salsiccia and black truffle. Service was also helpful, attentive, and speedy.
Wonderful restaurant. Friendly staff and great food. I had rabbit and my husband had wild boar. Both were so tasty and flavorful. We also enjoyed the eggplant appetizer and a liter of house red. If you are ever in Florence, make a point of visiting this special spot.
I went here on my final night in Florence and it was easily the best meal we had. Loved the atmosphere, the music was at the perfect volume, service was great and they recommended the artichoke salad for my side which was SO good. My Italian isn’t great and our server spoke English which was helpful. I’d highly recommend this spot if you want something in the city center but not too busy.
Food was fine. I feel like it was a bit more touristy than I expected? Portions felt a bit small on rabbit and the fried artichoke appetizer. Left hungry after spending 30 euros on food. Rabbit was delicious, appetizer was just ok. Service was really great!
Antonietta and I had our favourite meal here in Florence. Family owned, great atmosphere, stunning authentic food and great service. Would eat here once a week if we could.
Incredible food full stop. For us highlights were veal brain and lamb fricassee. Its one of those places where you have to have dessert even if youre full and also try every single thing on the menu. Will come back and recommend to anyone and everyone.
The intimate, cozy environment combined with friendly service and amazing food made this one of the most memorable dining experiences of our trip. Can’t recommend Osvaldo enough!
One of the few places on our list open on Mondays. To be honest I wasn’t expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised! Warm and welcoming staff, delicious pastas and sides, a really homey experience in the best of ways.
Very interesting menu, great taste, cosy atmosphere and very nice staff
This was our first meal in Firenze at a recommendation of a coworker, and we had the best time. We had fried veal brains, the tortelli with roasted wild boar, the apple tartine, and tiramisu. All were recommended by our server. It was excellent, and the staff was lovely, in spite of our broken Italian. Would go back!
Delicious! The artichoke, house wine and pasta were clearly made with love. So yummy.
Amazing seafood and wild boar pasta. An extra piece of pasta on the dishes would have been great.Very convenient opening hours.
10/10 delicious food and top notch service. Well done to all the team!! :)
One of the best tiramisu in Florence! Also their eggplant smoked buffalo mozzarella starter was sooo soo good!
Best ravioli I’ve ever had. Great affordable wine too. I’m surprised this place isn’t Michelin star. Our waiter Damien was really nice
Very good food, the lamb meatballs were delicious, and the tiramisu was also very good!!
Incredible service and even better food, the staff make us feel at home! Menu is full of regional specialties and the specials menu is always changing. Vegetarian friendly.
The best restaurants i had in Italy and in Florence. It was absolutely amazing, highly recommend it. Cant be disappointed.
it was undoubtedly the best table Ive been to during my stay in Florence. The freshness of the food as well as its subtlety will take you on a journey across Italy in a second.NB: the eggplant parmigiana is a must
American abroad again for the first time since COVID and WOW! I’m in Florence, Italy and I just ate the best steak I’ve ever had with delicious thin, crispy potatoes and a gorgeous house red. For dessert, seados, a beautiful crispy, pastry ravioli filled with cheese and lemon zest, then drizzled with honey and sprinkled with powdered sugar. I’ll be coming back to Club Culinario again!! (PS The tiramisu is also a hit!!)
We loved it so much we visited twice! The service was very very good. The food even better. Such quality ingredients. The food truly shines. My favorite would have to be what they call the meatballs. To me they were more like croquettes with extremely shredded meat inside. The flavor was incredible. The only trouble we had was google telling us we had arrived when we were around the corner. So if this happens to you. You are close! Don’t give up. A really great place. Truly farm to table.
Really loved the food and the service in this place! The atmospere is nice and relaxed, the service is friendly and forthcoming, the dishes are fresh and tasty. The vegetarian as well as meat dishes were both delicious and made with high-quality ingredients. The artichokes were really good. The only contorno that disappointed me a bit was the zucca al forno that was a bit tasteless. But all in all, definitely a place to try!
There are so many better places you can eat in Florence than here. The bread we received was stale, sour, and dry. We ordered 7 dishes for 4 people and left hungry, and the food we received was mediocre. One of the appetizers clearly was frozen and reheated. We were served by 4 or 5 different people, so I have no idea who our server even was. We were never offered refills on our drinks, nor asked how our food tasted, and the only time a server came to our table was to take away the olive oil while we still had bread out. Finally, when the bill came, it was written so sloppily that we couldnt read anything but the total, which was clearly incorrect based on our recollection of menu prices (about $10 more than expected). Would not recommend.
I came here the very first time I came to Florence and had such vivid memories of the extraordinary food and service that I decided to come back today. The food and service have only improved. Generous portions of food made from exquisite ingredients, prepared by a chef with obvious love for his craft and his product. I cannot recommend the place highly enough.A particular highlight was the short rib pasta, which was simply divine. Ive never had anything quite as satisfying. I also love the fact that they use all the parts of the animal- my stew contained not only delicious rabbit meat, but also some innards as well as a cross section of a rabbit head. Not for the faint of heart, perhaps, but if you can overcome the (baselessidea that only breast and legs can be eaten, you will have a great time.Hands down one of the most unique and wonderful restaurants Ive ever eaten at.
Very nice dinner! We were looking for hearty and down-to-earth but still not that heavy local dishes and we got it at the club culinario. As starters we ordered roasted bell peppers, an artichokes salad and traditional tomato soup. As main course (sorry, we couldnt take that much with Secondo plattiwe had ravioli, pasta with porcini and tagliatelle with sugo. Every dishes was delicious and portion not too large. For the price was ok as each starter were around 8EUR and main dishes 12EUR. We paired that with a local farm red wine. With dessert and water we paid 105 EUR.The services was also very attentive, nice and not pushy as you may have read in others (youve eaten, now go, guest are waiting). All in all we had a very nice evening, definitely a place to recommend.
Nice and caring staff. I had the fried artichokes as a starter. They were good, I never ate a meal like that. But what really made my evening was the grilled filet steak. I ordered it "between medium and rare but more on the rare side" and I think I got what I wanted. The meat was tender and aromatic. They had a sour herbal dip that harmonised perfectly with the meat. I ate the steak with thin fried potatoe slices. They were awesome too. Definitely recommend this place. :)
Our favourite place in Florence (so far). Absolutely amazing food - try everything.
Best ravioli my wife has ever had. Best pasta I have ever had. Great medium body house red wine. Great value. Not a touristy trap. Located in a quaint back alley of Florence.
Dined here on New Years eve, food was a 5 but the service was a 2. Wish there were half star increments since this was a 3.5. Incredibly slow and inattentive service. After being seated for 10 minutes I had to flag down a host in order to actually have a waiter come to our table with menus. They also brought us an incorrect dish which was still very good but alas not what we ordered. Ambiance was mediocre. Again, food was very good which salvaged this dinner.
Great and balanced food! An unique blend of flavours, not the usual stuff but all local Tuscan cuisine. I liked the little library, and you can charge your phone at all tables. Service was a bit slow, and portions small.
The most amazing dinner in Florence. The serving staff was so helpful in having us order the most ideal meal for two. Will have to return!
Great food, very tasty and happy homey atmosphere! Service could have been better.
Great small restaurant with real Tuscan food. Popular amongst locals (not crowded with tourists and not adjusted for tourists). Try homemade pasta.
We had an excellent meal last night. Very obliging and helpful with choosing delicious meals for a gluten free diner. The legendary pate and sirloin were delicious. Good wine list too. I would highly recommend
One of the best restaurants in Florence.Lovely staff.Intimate atmosphere.Food made with lots of love.We have been to much fancier restaurants in Florence, and of course NYC where we live, but this is a very special place. Fantastic pasta. Lovely wine. Charming wait staff. Open relatively late. I wish this were a local neighborhood joint in NY.
