Club Veeda in Saint Albans

My friends and I thought wed have a nice night out and chose to come here. When here, we was constantly harassed and groped by men. There was also another man playing with his genitals. We reported to the bouncers on multiple occasions about how uncomfortable we felt. We got laughed at and nothing was done. Eventually these men did get kicked out but I felt really saddened that our voices werent heard. Will not be returning. The only staff that were amazing there was the bar staff. I will be taking this further. Was so unprofessional. Do not reccomend. Not a safe place.

Never EVER have I been banned from a club! And since I went out with a certain group I went to go Club Veeda on my own and they told me that I was banned HOWEVER the same group I was with was still let in?!!Ive loved going Club Veeda as I have always been going which is why I prefer to go out on my own or with my man who is a DJ to where he works because theres never any problems when I go out on my own! Bright & out of order!!I need the managers number please!!!! SMFH at you lot!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bit of a disgrace to the fine city of st albans

Booked a table through the website, to be told at the door it would be £350 for the table! Nowhere I could see on the website where this was advertised and this was booked as had individuals with us with mobility issues. When discussing the sudden table cost at the door, the ‘gentlemen’ was rather rude and blunt about it. Drinks are very expensive. Venue and music though was great. We left after half an hour though (arrived at 11am and it was empty!).

Do NOT GO here Very discriminating against age and clothing. If you wear anything even remotely comfy aka joggers or sweatpants you will not be allowed in regardless of what you’re wearing on your top half, and if you have a specific type of trainer you will not be allowed to enter either.Disgusting that you cannot choose your Own clothes to go out because of stereotypes! Grow upNon the less £10 entry and £8 per drink!? Absolute rip off do not go here if you want a good night.

Terrible service and only cash on the door. No worth it.

They charge you for the entry £10 in cash and then £8 for every drink. It looks the floor hasn’t been cleaned in years. Although the music is nice I would recommend some cleaning which will definitely improve the place. Also another problem is that every time they close the place there are fights outside between drunk people!

On each of the two encounters I’ve had with this club someone I know has received an unprovoked attack sustaining facial and head injuries and having to go hospital. Avoid for your own safety.

DO NOT GO HERE! so expensive, £10 for a drink, £8 entry, i have never been groped by so many creepy men before, i am shocked at how bad security was in this place. Me and my friends were not safe, the music is bad and its a tiny club. If you want a good night out thats cheaper go to pryzm in watford

What can I say. During covid the place was run so well spaced out tables staff was very professional. Rash tj and Emma along with all the bar staff and security never had a problem and always so polite. Opening night wow was full and the staff where so busy but they never stopped smiling. Then the same again last night amazing night. Keep up the good work x

Bouncers turning people away over an hour prior to closing time. Waste of time

Well where do I start, no social distance in toilet or cleanliness, you can socialise as long as you are a regular of the club. Outsiders need to stay in bubble !!!Rules are rules to outsider not regulars.Confusing ... good job we follow the government ruling

Very rude bouncer on front door think you guys need to realise who you hire as your security team otherwise your going to lose customers very quickly.

Had an amazing night here, was really well looked after and felt very safe! Thank you very much for a great night and especially to the bouncer who looked after my phone when I left it on the table! Will be back soon!

Amazing club! The music, atmosphere and staff were great. We all really enjoyed our evening and we will definitely be going back again soon!

A really good night out. Staff are beyond lovely and willing to help whenever needed. I’ll be directing my nights out this end of town from now on ☺️

Edit: Still a good club, but the change in music policy over the last year or so has taken the edge off, its pretty much R&B, chart & cheese now. Still better than the competition, but removing the more underground house aspect has taken away their unique selling point. I guess Ill have to go into London a bit more regularly now :(

Worst place ever. Stuff are rude. The security its like in prison and their attitude.

Going only once was enough to put me off from going again. Quite a dark , dingy place indeed.

If I could give it a zero I would. Entry- too expensive. Staff- extremely rude. Music- awful. Trust me spend your money at batchwood. Such better value and much more appreciative managers. Much more valued customer anywhere else but here.

Lovely club

£10 entry is robbery. If you want to buy a drink expect to leave without your arms or legs too.

Under-average music with under- average clientele, overpriced drinks and rude staff at the bar. Theres many better places in St Albans to say the least.
