Racist, the management and security are one of the worst too, would never record going here and if your a girl be careful, guys here are reckless and won’t be scared to put their hands on females.

Great atmosphere, nice music, average price for cocktails. Polite service and good bartenders . We got there accidentally, but I’ll go there more and more in a future.

Very very busy & packed especially on a Friday - Saturday, which is expected and completely normal for Soho. £20 entry - I guess I could say its not a shocker to pay this much to get in but there are definitely cheaper places close by. Music was great & vibes inside were really good. I have to say it does get very packed inside & you can barely move. Expect to have drinks spilled all over you. Bar staff friendly & quick at serving. Drinks are reasonable but defo better elsewhere. Bathroom facilities defo need a bit more attention but not the worst in clubs. The lady inside isnt friendly at all and almost borderline rude but i dont blame her. I would probably come back but wouldnt be my first choice

Hmmm...What would you say... paying 200 for bottle and having to dig the ice for your drinks from a plastic bucked with your hands, drink glasses are plastic to.Poor toilets, overpriced services charge but you will find out this at the end.Not recommended.👇

Do not go here if your a woman, no security in sight.“General manager” and security will let a random guy throw not one but two drinks in not one but two women’s faces.They will victim blame, intimidate, separate the victim from their support and not kick the perpetrator out.Staff and male clientele have 0 respect for women, for your own safety, please avoid.

The girl who was serving was very attractive however was very well mannered and polite she should not be working in a place like that. However she (due to her kindness and politenessmade the 12.5% service charge worth it. Lovley place especially during weekdays compared to other places.

Futile club. £20 entry is extremely overpriced for the experience you receive. Staff welfare is horrendous, my girlfriend & I ended up buying 3 bottles of water for the lady in the toilet. Terrible working conditions. Phone was also STOLEN here. Only positive I can write about is the bouncer was a nice guy.

Had an amazing time there. Nice vibe, cool people, good music!The Djs were even willing to play our wished songs!Best part: I lost my wallet and they found it and were super helpful in helping me to get it back.Totally recommend!

Avoid at all costs. The arrogant ‘manager’ on the door was so rude to us for no reason whatsoever. Incredible how brave he is when he’s standing behind 3 bouncers. Incidentally, the bouncers were actually very friendly and agreed with us that he was unnecessarily rude and obnoxious. He needs a lesson in hospitality. Also £20 for entry for a bar/club of this standard is awful. Typical tourist trap.

Great place with good music. They take us to the VIP section, and the sécurity guard was very nice and protective.

Security are the worst they think that theyre gods gift to earth. They charge £10 for girls and £20 for boys which is just sexist and the staff inside made all my girl friends super uncomfortable. Some guys that work here dont understand when to stop harassing.The manager is also the worst and gives attitude none stop. If you have guys in your group Dont go here. They will either not let you in or they will charge you double. I wish I could rate them 0 stars.

Club employees are extremely rude. I was the DD, so sober. The club employee came up yelling at me, but I couldn’t understand him. It was something about not putting purses on the seats. My fiends were at the bar getting drinks. I took all the purses and he exploded. Started cursing me out and hit me in the face with a flash light. Avoid this place.

Had a shot of pink gin and two raspberry martinis, they were super tasty! The atmosphere was nice and on a week day it’s not crowded which was really nice +the bartender was super nice and cute😳

My 19 year old daughters phone was stolen from the club last night - no help whatsoever from the staff - we have found the location near Tudor Road in Barking and I believe its quite a lot of the staff who are stealing phones according to other posts here too - the police have been informed and it has now been upgraded to a crime - after posting this online the club messaged me directly with the words How Dare You accuse their staff - my daughters friend was videoing on her phone and caught "someone" taking it - they blamed my daughter stating is your daughter not responsible for her own possession but then stating they do believe its been stolen or picked up - funny thing to say - then they state and Im quoting "are you not a mature parent capable at looking at your daughters behaviour subjectively? How is it that your daughter came to loose/have it stolen in the first place - maybe you should start there instead and contacted us instead of throwing around allegations - further stating you are a disgrace - you believe everything you read on google - dont you dare and go on your way - what a disgrace of an establishment to answer and reply in such a manner

This place needs shutting down, it’s the worst for women the staff are worse than you could ever imagine, useless help rude as and a lot of phones get stolen inside but when asking for help you get turned away which makes a lot of sense seeing as the staff are most likely in with the thefts! DONT GO HERE ANYONE YOU WILL REGRET IT

£20 entry, awful music and expensive drinks not worth it, such a waste of money just want my £20 back 😭 the only dance move you can do is the robot because the floors are so sticky you can’t even lift your feet, still stuck there now, after it closed! Wouldn’t recommend!!!

Terrible club - vibe atmosphere was horrible and I had my phone stolen inside the club and security refused to help, I have had to call the police to request cctv footage as I believe it could have been a staff member who stole my phone and money according to another staff member who approached me outside - AVOID AVOID AVOID worst club in Soho and especially overpriced and staff are absolutely terrible - I don’t normally leave reviews but this club was a horrible experience

Bouncers on the outside were friendly, everything went downhill from there though, once inside it took minutes to convey to the bartender what we wanted, in the end we paid £23.62 for two tequilas!!! London prices are London prices, but this atmosphere in here was so poor we had to leave, go literally anywhere else.

If you are a woman, do NOT go here. The club treats women with zero respect and the general atmosphere is not worth the price. With the amount of other options in the area, I would recommend picking literally another other bar/pub/club to go to. My friend was manhandled by a guy walking past her and when she motioned for him to stop he threatened to get our group kicked out. He went and told the bouncer she would not move and the bouncer came over and forcefully grabbed her arm and took our entire group outside. Never were we asked what happened, we were simply thrown out and told to leave. While trying to get one of the bouncers to listen to us, another group of women were standing by us that had the exact same thing happen to them. This is absolutely DISGUSTING and this place should be ashamed of how they operate.Besides being thrown out, the atmosphere before this happened was also lacking. There was little variation in music and the transitions between songs were the worst I have ever heard. I cant speak to the drinks, but glad I didnt give another penny to this place.

The bouncers were rude and aggressive. I was trying to get passed to leave and I fell over. One of the bouncers grabbed me, started pushing me and my friend aggressively out of the club through the doors.

REALLY unimpressed with this place. An order for a lime and soda ended up with a vodka, lime and soda. After asking for the proper drink, I was told I should know that asking for a lime and soda would include vodka, because I was in a club. The replacement was just soda water. No refund for the price difference was offered. If that drink had been for a teetotal person or a recovering alcoholic, it could have ended very differently.To the management: please train your staff better. I will never come here again. Hopefully this does not happen to someone else.

I was overcharged for an overpriced drink. I only realised when I check my bank log the day after. They overcharged me twice in one night. Conning bar staff.

Absolutely awful door staff. Extremely rude and unhelpful. They demanded that I call my friends inside to let me in given their no single policy. What they actually mean is you need a balanced ratio of girls to guys. As soon as we were over by one guy they refused to let my mate in. Disgusting service avoid at all costs.

Me and my friends came and booked a VIP table for my friends birthday for £500 before one of us was kicked out for no explainable reason except race, we were then kicked out one by one again for no explainable reason. The owner was a horrible ratty man who refused to explain why and bossed around his useless bouncers and even refused to give us our receipt even after getting the police involved couldn’t recommend this place any less

Fraud. Tries to cheat you at door even if you have prior booking. Extremely rude front door staff. Front door bouncer asked me to pay an extra 300 pounds even though I had a prior booking. Hands down the Worst bar/club i’ve ever been to.

Wish there was a way to give 0 stars but unfortunately I’ll have to settle for a non deserving 1 star. We booked a table and my name was on the list and yet I wasn’t let in even though I showed him my name on the list. The bouncer was TERRIBLE and possibly the worst behaved staff member I’ve ever encountered in any entertainment centre.Rubbish staff. Rubbish club. Don’t go.

I went there on Saturday night, my friends pre-booked a table for us 5 (maximum allowed people per table during this timeand I arrived an hour later than my friends, around 7 pm, and the very nice guys to the entrance didnt allow me to get inside with my friends. Even if we payed the table in advance, they said to me it was too late (7pm, the place close at 10pm like all the other places during this restricrion timeto get in and the only way for me to get inside was to book another table for 250£ only for myself. This was ridiculous! I just left and I was very disappointed. The people by the entrance were also very unpleasant and quite rude. Ill never go back again!

Still have all have untrained staff this year too.They’re desperately hard-up for money, I get it. But, bending you over for it and expect you to smile. Doorman on 23/24-07-2020 night admitted he made a mistake and asked me to wait and not leave but too little too late! I understand they’re hurting after Lock Down but no sleazy-run business that even the staff are trained to mug punters off will ever get my money 😏

Had a fantastic time here. Visiting London for the weekend. Staff are so friendly and helpful.I had an issue with my debit card. The club were so so helpful the few days after. They didn’t need to but went out of their way to help me.Next time I am in London I will be sure to drop by again 🤩🤩🤩

0 Stars. Staff were appalling. On arrival we were told for 2guys there would be no entry. While we waited to decide what to do we were called back and told we could gain entry for £200 a head so £400 in total not even for VIP or Bottle service. Having been here before I began to laugh as it was £10 entry previously. While we decided we watched other members of public gain entry with no issues or prior engagement. Staff were dismissive and rude once we stated we are happy to go elsewhere. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

If I could give it 0 I would. Staff are fine. Bouncer kept coming round every 5 minutes to remind us that our phones couldn’t be on the table??!!! and if you think putting your jacket behind you whilst still sitting down is fine, think again. He will come back to remind you it has to be in the cloak room. They turned the heating up too just to put our jackets in.

definitely worst club Ive ever been to. Rudest staff on the door (especially the girl with the guest listand the one from cloakroom. Been there for my friends bday party last night and we left after 15-20mins. Never coming back again and also Ill let my friends know to never step in this club. Absolutely disgusting!

Thanks to the management for giving us the upgrade to the VIP area.Wasnt expecting it at all. We only arranged an after party for our prior event to have somewhere to drink and dance for the guests. Arrived at the door with a friendly welcome by the manager who arranged my guest list.All 25 of my guests gained entry so smoothly and efficiently.Then to my surprise the manager offered us a beautiful area, must of been the dinner suits and gowns which made them think to offer us a nice space.We didnt complain at all and in the end have a fantastic time drinking and dancing away till the early hours. Service was very attentive and friendly, music was spot on, Hip Hop, Rnb, Floor fillers. All in all it was perfectly suited to our needs. We did have to pay for the drinks and bottles but seeing what a great setting we had ended up in we didnt mind.Thank you Club49 and hope to see you again.

I had my Birthday there last weekend and everything was so smooth, loved the club, drinks, music and especially the staff.Id been before and had a great time so knew what I was getting.Thanks to the lovely waitresss who looked after my tables.Would recommend, god knows what up with other people experiences of this Soho Rnb Gem.

Although the door staff were lovely, it was supposed to be happy hour. The drinks were a good price, but they charged us service for carrying the wine from the bar 3ft away from our table. We offered to carry the wine ourselves from the very beginning, but we were still charged service.The music wasnt great either. I can imagine its better much later in the night, but it was 10 when we left and it was still quite empty.

Unsure about this place. £5 entry to get in and door staff were a tad rude, telling us to move out of the way and rushing even though there was no one behind us. Drinks seemed ridiculously priced- £40 for four tequilas (yes it was that kind of night)! Also the toilets were pretty poor - 3 cubicles and then one sink as the other sink was filled with make-up, sweets, paper towels and someone trying to get you to pay for them... Music was fairly good though and fun if youre in it to dance about.

Venue is tiny and cramped, no room to swing a cat everyone is packed in like sardines. The door staff are extremely unprofessional and rude. Almost as though theyre looking for any excuse to eject paying customers with a cover fee of £10. Its almost as though theyre doing you a favor by letting you in and taking your money. Drinks are super expensive for the quality of place and drinks are watered down inunwashed glasses. Ratio 95% guys. Music was beyond terrible.I wouldnt come back even if you paid me and it was a free night out.

I organised an engagement party here at Club 49 with the help of Milan (Club Managerlast Saturday for two of my best friends. We had a fantastic time and were treated really well by the staff. Entry was swift and easy despite having a last group. The clubs policies were explained to us really well and the whole process and evening was simple and straightforward.We really enjoyed the music at the club and the atmosphere. It was great for a large mixed group with individuals of all ages. The bar staff were great with the drinks - though a bit slow at times... worth the wait!Thank you!

Really good hip hop play list. I came for my birthday yesterday book a table. Table is small and people are next to you but staff take care of you all night. Me and my friends was drunk cause that was a birthday but they took care of us all night with free syrup and coke, table cleaning. Much appreciated see you next time. Great night! Booked 2 booths downstairs and were treated like gold from the moment we got in! Everyone had an awesome night. Music was on point. Bouncer and staff were very friendly. Couldnt have asked for a better birthday!
