Awesome drinks, service, and atmosphere

This spot is a gem, owner/bartender Joey is so kind and lovely and knowledgeable about his drinks. It’s worth a visit regardless, but if you have the time to properly ask for a cocktail and enjoy, it will be very worth your while for something special and memorable. Ten stars ⭐️

What a great spot! Ended up here after bouncing around Gastown all night. The bartender was a pleasure, they were extremely knowledgeable in their whisky. They selected great choices for the two different tastes of the group. We also got a round of martinis after which were fantastic, the olives which came with the dirty martini were worth the price of the drink alone.The bartender was extremely charming and was chatting with us as the closed up for the night. I will be returning to this spot without hesitation!

Was here for an event, great bartenders - friendly and well versed. Classics, modern classics, and revival cocktails, all made well.

Drinks were fine, but disappointed by the service. It took thirty minutes for our first drink to arrive, and they did not arrive together. It took another thirty to flag down a waitress to order another one, but by then we decided to just pay our bill and leave.

Great drinks, delicious food, fun atmosphere. The owner / bartender very friendly and welcoming. Great place!

Definitely try the Rosemary fries, huge portion for only $8. The server was friendly, funny and helpful. Sorry, not sorry drink was delicious!

Delicious cocktails and great staff. Late night kitchen being open has definitely saved my life a few times. Also the strawberry him and tonic slushy is super dangerous

Really neat bar, with friendly staff, and good drinks.

I come here with friends occasionally and their cocktails never seem to dissapoint.The rosemary fries with the curry dip is out of this world.If they sold bottles of that sauce id buy it.

This is a great spot but had a bad experience tonight when we were stuck with a $10 charge for their live music act that we weren’t told about.I’m all for paying for live music but at least tell your customers they’re paying for it when they walk in. Especially when you’re paying $8+ for an IPA thats in a can and not on draught.

In the top two cocktail bars in the city for me. I highly recommend sitting at the bar, chatting with the bartender about what you like, don’t like, and are in a the mood for, and enjoy the cocktail adventure :-).

Visited here for some after dinner cocktails. Loved the vibe and service was great. They have a wide array of cocktails to choose from, we tried 4 in total and all were excellent. Will definitely be back.

It’s a very small cocktail bar but i love their cocktails! My favorite would be “Sorry, Still not Sorry” the service is very fast and friendly. There is a live music after 10 PM on the weekend with $5 cover. Had a good time there.

Cocktails look good but were tasteless.The inside was smelling v weird something like strong chemical surface cleaner.

Cocktails were great, but customer service has room to grow. We were sitting at the bar Saturday night having our drinks when it got busy. One of the male waiters had no problem removing the chair where we were keeping our coats, letting the coats fall into the ground! Then he walks away as if nothing had happened- Rude!! We left right away and will not be back.

We had a great experience at Clough Club during our stay in Vancouver.We had a few rounds of cocktails, some from the current menu, others “off the menu” and others by request. So, don’t be afraid to ask for something special!Also, not only we enjoyed the drinks, which were delicious, but we had a nice chat with one of the owners and bartender. We felt very welcome!Overall, very friendly and professional staff, cool atmosphere and good selection of drinks.

Dario is one of the best bartenders I have ever come across. He has an extensive knowledge of all sorts of liquors and can create a masterpiece that you love from knowing just a few flavours you like. Outstanding!

An extension of the Donnelly owned Lamplighter, the Clough Club is their more modest volumed cocktail bar. They have fantastic daily specials and happy hour - probably one of the best in the neighborhood. Plus, live music on the weekends.This is also a better-known late night industry bar, so you will likely see it get busy late into the evening. Its a really fun spot to be, but it can work against you sometimes. Because often times the bartenders will be stuck serving droves of their friends and faces they recognize from neighborhood restaurants and it does take a while to get a drink.

Not a good place to catch up with people and actually talk, but excellent cocktails! Cheap food! Live music! I loved it here. I only took a star off because of how loud it was. I expect things to be loud at a place like this, especially on a Friday night, but this was next level loud.

Had the best time at my birthday party in their back room 2 weeks ago. The special drinks were yummy and food was very reasonably priced and tasty. Perfect place if you wanted to just walk around and chat with friends and nibble on food. It got a little crowded in there because the guest list got a little out of control and everyone actually showed up and on time. There were also a few surprise out of town guests. We ended up having more people than was recommended so it was totally our bad. But everyone had a great time and we would definitely come back again!

Last weekend my friend had a birthday party in the back room of the club, the place had a separate bartender and bar just to serve us. We were able to order food from the staff who comes in and out to check on us with great service! Their cocktails were super delicious (and strong!I ordered some chicken wings which were delicious and they came very quickly! My other friend ordered nachos which was loaded and with Doritos! So tasty!All the staff were super friendly, service was great! They even let us pay separately! Had a wonderful time, Thank you, Clough Club! Will definitely come again!

The cocktails and atmosphere are legit. Came here after eating food elsewhere so we just chilled and had drinks. The back room is where we were and its quiet intimate which is what I like. Plus there’s a hand sticking out of the wall. Definitely will come back next time Im in Van.

I came a few years ago and tried their apiary drink but hated it (too sweet), I am happy to say it was much better this time! My partner also enjoyed her drink. So good cocktails with normal prices, and very friendly wait staff. That apiary drink by the way has a chunk of honeycomb in it which is delicious and a nice surprise.

I had such a great time here. I had delicious cocktails that were so well made. The staff were very professional and friendly. The place has a unique look to it. I would definitely come here again next time Im near Gastown. It was super dark. Which was pretty cool.Not sure if theres a light for the washroom though? If not I would suggest to be careful. Maybe wipe the seat before you sit down because you never know if someone before you was a little too drunk and missed the seat.

My favourite place for cocktails in the city. The staff are always so friendly and personable. The only thing I could hope for is a better food menu (some healthier options), but maybe just eat before you go and enjoy the cocktails instead!

This place honestly doesnt get the recognition it deserves. Waitresses can be hit or miss but the bartenders/cocktail craftsmen are pros and a class act to boot. They know their game and they practice it well. Live music on weekend is off the hook also. During weekdays its quieter and a great place to bring your Tinder date ;)

The Clough Club used to be a great place for cocktails with a nice ambiance and interesting decor. This has recently changed. I now find the service to be quite poor and the drinks pretty bad. I’m also surprised by the limited options for non-drinkers.

The place has great ambiance and decent cocktails. My experience today has been a little different. The service was quite blunt and unwelcoming. I wasn’t feeling well and therefore asked for a mocktail however the bartender did not respond kindly to my request. Clough club usually offers a good experience - hope you enjoy one of those.

My date enjoyed her fruity cocktail. My cider was decent. Staff were friendly and effective. We sat at the bar and it was fun to watch the bartenders work. Ambience is dim though easy enough for me to see. I enjoyed the design of the space

Really great atmosphere in here. Creative drinks and knowledgeable bartenders. You can order off menu and just give them your likes and dislikes and a spirit and they’ll craft one up! Fun place.

Amazing service and attention to detail. Extremely delicious and adventurous cocktails and food with a great late night atmosphere. The live music for the ambiance completely. Definitely a recommendation for a late night bite, drinks, and everything else. Cheers to the staff for an awesome night.

Fantastic bar for cocktails, very knowledgeable bartenders. Actually reasonable priced for drinks. Small menu but very tasty for what it does. Best place so far in Gastown, and have already been to all the top bars, wish I found it sooner.

All the cocktails are unique and house crafted, everything we ordered food wise tasted absolutely amazing. The brisket pizza w sirracha aioli was delicious, the Kentucky dog was one of the best hot dogs I have ever had. The service was perfectly on point with great conversation and free shots as a cherry on top for this memorable occasion. Definitely reccomend!

Really enjoyed my first visit in this place. Very cozy and cool environment, live music in the weekends and great cocktails.Theres an hidden bar on the back in case you dont want to order food, make sure to check it out.

We had a private party here in their inner room, and I must say it was spot on. Great place to host a small-medium party (we were 25). The bartender - John was amazing and quick. Service was great. Good also was good (potachos, mushroom pizzas). Would like to call out a thanks to Michelle for her organization and all the help. Great place, will go back if a party needs to be hosted.

I love this cocktail bar! The decor is hip and moody - a real speakeasy atmosphere. The bartender really knew his stuff, and obviously had great passion for his craft. The cocktails were very well executed - definitely my favourite cocktails of the evening. I will be back!
